11721  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btc-e vs market on: December 05, 2014, 01:26:46 PM
BTC-E is a follow exchange, traders there are waiting for something to happen in Bitstamp or the Chinese exchanges.

Different exchanges mean different traders. The gap between BTC-E and the rest was larger but at this moment it's only a few bucks.

Large traders who transfer thousands of Bitcoins from BTC-E to Bitstamp can make good profits.

It's not worth it if you're a small trader with only a few Bitcoins. For whales it's more than interesting.
11722  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin can solve financial problems in Africa on: December 05, 2014, 01:16:22 PM
Africa is the one of poor country on the world.
I'm sure with bitcoin, it has a high value on their currency.
With that high currency, African government can spend it for African people for good, especially for curing EBOLA disease

Africa isn't a country....

Do you actually know what you're talking about?

If so, please explain why you think your comment makes sense.
11723  Economy / Economics / Re: How much did your salary increase over the past 5 years? on: December 05, 2014, 12:25:04 AM
My income increased nearly 10% over the last few years, but everything has gotten so expensive nowadays in Europe.

Which results in nearly no increase due to higher taxes, higher insurances, higher daily life costs, etc.
11724  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Bitcoin record - 100,000 transactions but the price is not moving? on: December 05, 2014, 12:07:34 AM
It would have been very funny if the price would rise just because we reached 100K transactions.

That would only feed manipulators who would just spam the blockchain with dust transactions.
11725  Economy / Auctions / Re: Selling BitRoulette.org on: December 04, 2014, 11:38:48 PM
If it is registered with namecheap Ill take it

If it was registered at namecheap it would have been sold.

Read up previous posts.
11726  Economy / Speculation / Re: My prediction for another price spike on: December 04, 2014, 11:35:51 PM
What on earth makes you think Bitcoin will reach $2750 in 2015??

Doesn't mean I don't want to see $2K price, but I think it won't even go above $750 in 2015.
11727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mastercard Presidents perspective on Bitcoin on: December 04, 2014, 11:19:28 PM
This isn't a surprise at all, MasterCard just want to be the only player on the market.

Bitcoin is gaining popularity as payment solution, and MasterCard knows that.

Scary thought if they consider what will happen to MasterCard if Bitcoin's global adoption really takes off.
11728  Other / Off-topic / Re: Apple Accused Of Deleting Songs From iPods on: December 04, 2014, 11:07:51 PM
This is unacceptable, and I never thought Apple would do such a thing.

Currently they are hiding themself behind their policy, but that's not enough.
11729  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Investing on Bitcoin on: December 04, 2014, 04:56:28 PM
As far as mining, roi in less than six months won't even happen, let alone a week.

Find better ways to invest, or just keep the coins in your wallet.
11730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Updated] Choices for earning BTC interest on: December 04, 2014, 04:39:51 PM
The best interest you get is from holding your Bitcoins in your wallet.

Keep them there and enjoy seeing your coins gain value over time.

Which also happens to be the safest solution.

11732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chart Comparison on: December 04, 2014, 04:16:13 PM
As long as the people themself think and believe in an repeating history, it will for sure repeat.

But glad there are also people who think before they act, and not lose reality out of sight.
11733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin network surpasses 100,000 transactions on: December 04, 2014, 04:08:09 PM
Next mile stone is 1,000,000 transactions, and at this point it may look difficult, but it's just a matter of time.

It can be easily manipulated by dust transactions, but they, transaction is transaction  Smiley
11734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wikipedia on: December 04, 2014, 10:36:25 AM
They already were accepting Bitcoin if you haven't seen that on any Bitcoin related news site.

But still cool though that you got an answer within 30 seconds, not sure if it was automated or not.  Smiley
11735  Economy / Services / Re: CLOUDMINR.IO || Sign. campaign Up to 0.4 BTC/month || ** NO FREE SPOTS ** on: December 04, 2014, 10:32:54 AM
Hey everyone, I've decided to suspend the campaign. I haven't heard from the admin, "CLOUDMINR.IO" after multiple contact requests and there's not much held in escrow. I've tallied up everyone's posts and will be releasing payment within 48 hours.

If the campaign resumes, your spots will be reserved.
The spreadsheet is available here, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-7S4xPJW7B2vG7ofYhoD8WrWUxCvqRskoX_9i4cHLTs

Let me know if you have any questions
Thanks!

Please keep everything the same as it was. CLOUDMINR.IO topped up the escrow address.

The payout is still on Sunday without any change I hope.
11736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $80,000,000 dollar transaction just hit blockchain! on: December 03, 2014, 06:28:40 PM
Where else can you send such a large amount for just 4 silly cents  Cheesy

Probably work of an exchange, but still, very cool to see.

I think the largest transaction I have seen was 350K BTC, can't remember if they used fee or not.
11737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Interest in Bitcoin is declining on: December 03, 2014, 03:24:23 PM
Months ago Bitcoin was quite regularly on the news, etc, which might have triggered a populairty peak.

What also is important to know is that there were a lot gamblers buying Bitcoin at high levels hoping it will rise even more without even knowing what Bitcoin is.

These people got burned and sold with a significant loss, and they probably never bothered to check back what's going on currently.
11738  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach $1000 ? on: December 03, 2014, 03:08:03 PM
Value will go up but it will bounce between $400/$600 during 2015.

Steady growth over several years is the best growth you can have, instead of a short term peak.
11739  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello on: December 03, 2014, 12:39:08 PM
Also, everything you own in Bitcoin is yours.

You can spend your Bitcoins how you want, and also how much you want, without having to notify your bank, etc.

Read the the Bitcoin wiki link that is posted a few posts back. Bitcoin can offer so much more than just the "Coin"
11740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin exchange is better? your opinion is needed on: December 03, 2014, 12:27:40 PM
I only use BTC-E and Bitstamp as these exchanges offer great volume and a good trading experience.

I also hear a lot people having good experiences with Kraken, their volume have grown quite a bit lately.
