didn't they already have a usd wallet?
Not really. In the past when you sold bitcoin on Coinbase, the USD would be send to your bank account directly. You can't keep it on your Coinbase balance for later re-purchasing. Never used Coinbase, but isn't that something a Bitcoin exchange should offer by default? There are a lot people who doesn't want their USD to be sent directly to their bank account.

I missed it, did the difficulty increase or decrease?
It shows now +0.92% estimated for next difficulty.
Down slightly. From 40,300,030,328 to 40,007,470,271 The next estimate is up: 40,373,823,121 (+0.92%) (Although given it has only been a few hours, that is highly unreliable.) That's nice, lot's of people are happy right now. I think just before the end of this year the difficulty will be at least 10% higher than current level.

Exciting game Manchester Utd - Stoke City
What a save from De Gea in the last minutes, also from Young.
They secured 3 very important points before the match against Southampton.

At 5 hours to go, the next difficulty change is going to be very close to zero. The current prediction is -0.44%.
Let's see if we will see a difficulty decrease today, few days ago it was over -2%. Currently with around 2,5 hours left it's at -0.62 but I think it will end up just over 0%.

If you say based on percentage We still early adopter Maybe we have to wait 20 years to see most people adopt bitcoin I was actually shocked when some one told me how many people actually own Bitcoin. Was thinking in the range of a few million people, but it's only a few hundred thousand. There is so much room for growth, something tells me the next few years will be huge.

They already sort of admit that Bitcoin has the potential to overtake their service.
Large companies must know that they don't have to fight against new technologies.
There are already banks and other financial institutes who are researching the possibilities of the blockchain.
What would be the need for that, if bitcoin already has it? I am talking about Bitcoin if you didn't notice. That's what made them thinking. But apart from that, they are only interested in the blockchain. Doesn't not say they will use Bitcoin's blockchain, nothing prevents them from creating their own blockchain.

Really, Cryptsy doesn't get a mention?
i was asking to myselft the same question, why cryptsy is not added? btw, cryptsy is good for me, but sometimes is very very slowly and have some high fees, in the other side i can say that they seems to be very profesional with his services, there is always OP at his chatbox ready to help you and they seems to be one of the oldest exchanges out there. ohh w8, poloniex is not there too? why not? polo is a really faster exchange, im using it in the pass 2-3 months and seems pretty good, you should ad it. Btw i suggest everybody not leave large amounts of bitcoin in any exchanges, just for security, the most secure BTC you can have is at your qt wallet between Bitstamp, Bitfinex and Btc-e all of them seems good too, but i cant give your my opinion since i used them just few times, but i will vote for Bitstamp. OP states large Bitcoins exchanges. Cryptsy's BTC/USD market is growing every week, but it's still very low in volume. Poloniex also offers BTC/USD but their volume is beyond low, barely worth mentioning.

I use Bitmixer.io from time to time, they offer a great mixing service.
They do ask a 0.5% fee, though. So I mostly use it for small transactions.
With larger amounts I use an exchange, which will only cost you max 0.001BTC as withdrawal fee.
Can I ask why you or the other people use it? I mean why do they feel the need to mix their coins? I only use mixers when I send coins to my cold wallets. It gives you extra privacy, as I don't want people to know what my cold wallet addresses are.

I don't listen to news sites and people who are hoping that the USD will fail. It just won't happen. Would care to elaborate on the reasoning that brought you to this conclusion ? I think I know why it's not failing right now despite the massive expansion (x5) of the USD "coin supply", but I can't see those conditions sustainable for a long period. For example, what makes you so confident that the trillions backed up on Fed balance sheets, or the Chinese held $1T in USD bonds or the Japanese held $1T in USD bonds or the huge amounts of dollar denominated sovereign wealth funds held by the Gulf region countries won't find their way back out into the markets ? There are so many speculators at this moment hoping for the USD to vanish and leaving a trail of destruction behind, all for their own benefit. Why am I supposed to agree with what they say? At this point the entire world economy is at risk if something happens with the USD. Would they rather let the USD burn or will they take every necessary step to prevent it from failing. I go for the last.

Good to hear some one is helped in a very quick fashion.
Their support wasn't always what it should be for such a large exchange.
Hope they will continue this level of support, makes a lot people happy.

I know it's not much but 10 bucks are 10 bucks. And this made me reconsider using bitcoin in the future.
Decent protection is always required no matter if you have lot's of coins or not. You can't blame Bitcoin for something you did wrong. Probably work of a hacker, scan your pc and if you didn't encrypt your wallets before, be sure to do it now.

Heavy downside volume, everyone is actually getting out of bitcoin, they're mining it into oblivion. Good luck to all! Who's everyone? You? If you like high volumes then have a look at the Chinese exchanges. In case you're leaving the Bitcoin community; Good luck to you!

I will just buy a load of USD with my EUR.
You would buy USD after a crash ? I read some articles online that the US Government would switch to a new, gold backed currency. Sounded like a crackpot conspiracy though. I don't listen to news sites and people who are hoping that the USD will fail. It just won't happen. If there is a significant price drop I will definitely buy up USD. Great investment opportunity. LOL! What's so funny ? Because nothings funnier for me lately than seeing people in denial about a crashing global economy because it just shows how little you guys live in the real world. Not sure if you're aware of the fact that people do have different opinions. One thinks the world economy will crash in the near future, and the other don't. I don't see a reason why the USD won't survive, every action will be taken to get it through whatever recession there is at that moment.

I don't use flippa.
I'll bid $20 here, and I also take care of the transfer costs.

It's great to have something like this, but I have never heard of this site.
How do we know that the donated coins are actually used for charities?
I'll do some more research and if I'm sure this is legit I will make a donation.
