11781  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-E problem ... BTC-E Scam ????? on: November 29, 2014, 06:52:14 PM
i lost last summer accidently 1.5btc from those clowns... i asked them how to enable 2fa "if there is a windows based application" as i dont own an android device and the answer was in order to enable 2fa download the app from google store...... english is not my native language but somehow i can handle  communication with foreigners. btc-e sucks!!!!

How did you lose 1.5XBT ? Is your account hacked or what?

The guys behind BTC-E are not the kind to run away with funds. They are not going to risk their exchange for a few XBT.

But I do agree that their support service is horrible, it takes way too long to get a reply.

Yeap my account hacked... but how??? never got any virus or malicious files....that happend in 4-5 minutes max. went out to buy cigars and when i return my browser wasn't responding, till i close it and restart my laptop someone trade all my coins to btc "ltc-ppc" when those coins got value, btc 1200$ ltc 27$ and ppc almost 10-12$. that guy also bypass the email confirmation, never send to my e-mail. i use 2fa for my email and a second code send to my phone, so it would be impossible to login my email. i also use virtual keyborad to type my passwords. so btc-e is not trusted for me. The sad thing about it, is that i spend some money to buy mining equipment and never got the chance ROI, that loss took me back one year to ROI. i hope this guy spend all the stolen coins to doctors, ebola cancer and etc... Tongue i'm so bad.

It's definitely weird, whatever you do, to execute withdrawals you MUST click the confirmation link that you get in your email box.

There is absolutely no way to avoid email confirmations when you try to do a cashout.

Are you the only person who uses your phone, etc?
11782  Economy / Services / Re: CLOUDMINR.IO || Sign. campaign Up to 0.4 BTC/month || ** NO FREE SPOTS ** on: November 29, 2014, 04:02:15 PM
Will the signature campaign continue next week as well?

I think it will, but I'm not 100% sure.

Devthedev will be back today or tomorrow, so perhaps he can also say something about it as he hold the funds.
11783  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1 BTC = 627.25 USD ? Really ? on: November 29, 2014, 03:40:27 PM

How can you rent hash?  After you smoke it all that is left is ashes.  Do you resell the ashes?   Grin Grin Grin

Are you serious?  Cheesy

In case you're not joking : hash as in hashpower...

You can rent mining hardware for a certain period of time, can be 24 hours, a few days, etc.

I guess the THREE smiley faces after my comment wasn't clear enough.

Yeah, whatever.

You never know on this forum, some guys are serious, and some not.

That's why I said : In care you're not joking.
11785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: INFOGRAPHIC : TOP 10 BITCOIN EXCHANGES on: November 29, 2014, 03:12:36 PM
Good idea to redo everything.

Cryptsy shouldn't be mentioned as they only have 50 to 100XBT volume on average. (I'm talking about XBT/USD)

Bter XBT/fiat is also nothing to shout out about, their volume is mainly generated by altcoins.

11786  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi didnt give us bitcoin to make a bunch of nerds rich. on: November 29, 2014, 12:53:31 PM
He made Bitcoin so you could escape enslavement by the financial system. Satoshi gave you life, he gave you the power to control your destiny!

It's easy to lose sight of the real purpose of Bitcoin during these bearish times. I felt the need to give that reminder.

Welcome in todays world, where peoples first priority is to get a financial benefit  Smiley

Most inportant reasons for me to like Bitcoin :

* Avoiding shitty and costly pay services such as Paypal, WU, etc.

* My money is 100% mine. I can spend it when I want, and how I want.
11787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: INFOGRAPHIC : TOP 10 BITCOIN EXCHANGES on: November 29, 2014, 12:41:53 PM
BTC China volume  Shocked Where is Huobi?

Since when is Bittrex considered a Bitcoin exchange? They only trade altcoins.

Yeah, if you have $150k to blow.

That investment could earn you a good bit of money.

Where did you get the $150K number from?
11790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Globally Gif on: November 29, 2014, 10:11:48 AM
For your enjoyment:

This here is the most boring place in the world. Nothing ever moves forward with btc, with the price being the reflection of that. Btc has been around for a long time now and the best it can offer is ATM's which is obviously a money maker for the owners.. As time goes on this btc experiment is getting more centralized and laughable. Yes, fu all too

You don't have to be here if you think it's boring Smiley

And btw... Why do you think ATMs are the best Bitcoin has to offer?
11791  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you going to buy on black friday? on: November 28, 2014, 10:38:45 PM
I'm very disappointed with black friday in Europe, there was not much worth buying.

They say black friday discount, but the prices are the same as they were days ago Cheesy
11792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Total number of bitcoin users on: November 28, 2014, 10:12:06 PM
It's very hard to say, but I think probably 2 to max 3 million users.

Wallets don't say anything as there are services and companies who have hundreds of wallets with a balance.

Wait, what? it's way less than that, total users should be less than 100k people. There are total of around 220k unique Bitcoin addresses with a non-zero balance, and I personally owns about 20 addresses with balance, the average user should own at least 2 or more addresses with balance.

I was way off with my estimate.

Never thought such a little group of people are actually owning Bitcoin. Looking at myself, I own 8 wallets with balance.

Imagine what will happen if more than a million people own Bitcoin.

11794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: November 28, 2014, 06:13:46 PM
Don't forget patience.

A lot people are bored and annoyed if their investment doesn't show profit in less than a few days. That's not investing, that's gambling.

Patience is the key, and don't be greedy. Take profits when you can, don't get burned.
11795  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: November 28, 2014, 06:04:20 PM
Patiently waiting for Asteras - Beşiktaş game tonight. We will win this time by at least 3 margin. Demba Ba will score at least 2 goals tonight. Just watch it. Wink

Not much of above did actually happen Smiley

But they don't lose anything as they already are through to the next round.

Next match against tottenham is for first spot, will be a good match for sure.

11797  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Appraise a domain on: November 28, 2014, 05:48:26 PM
hes going to go put it into one of the sites that guess based on X by X and X = X and give you a answer lol

It's quite funny actually, I've never heard someone asking to be paid in order to give a price appraisal for a domain. Or any other item in general.
It's actually only an entire industry.

Domains, yeah there's an entire industry behind them. Domain appraisals on the other hand, they're done for free all over the web.
I'm talking about the appraisal industry, which is probably just about as large as the domain industry.

Automated domain appraisals are a joke. You can always post in a domaining forum to get an accurate opinion for free, but there are consultants who do this for very high fees.

I do agree that automated appraisals are worth nothing.

Some premium domains are valued at ~$50 by these clown appraisers, and rubbish domains are worth thousands of dollars in their eyes...

Even if professional domain appraisers tell you it is worth + $10,000 you will probably never get that.
11798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Black Friday deals on: November 28, 2014, 09:36:39 AM

I'm looking for a cheap but decent performing laptop. Hope there will be some amazing discounts tomorrow.

Perhaps more stuff if it's cheap enough, let your money roll  Smiley
11800  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 27, 2014, 08:43:07 PM

Seems like signature campaigns are running hot again, 2 good ones opened up last 24 hours, could be the start of a signature campaign bubble  Grin

Yeah, but this bubble won't hurt any campaign participant  Cheesy

Very decent rates, people have a lot to choose from now.
