1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin? on: October 07, 2018, 03:11:01 PM
From my opinion, satoshi has found problems in our payment system. And later they found the solution for the problems.
satoshi want to make some peer to peer payment system that dont required middleman like fiat currency to process our transactions.
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychological fear dominates the market on: October 07, 2018, 03:04:51 PM
The continuous decline in Bitcoin prices may make investors very nervous and many people have lost confidence in Bitcoin as well as crypto.
This is a very normal psychology and nothing strange in life, in any field, there are two emotional state is governed by FEAR and GREED.
Especially in the financial market, not just the crypto market, when prices are rising, people often feel GREED, focusing only on positive trends and never thinking about trends. Negative, when the price goes down, then the person feels FEAR, then focus only on the negative trend and never thought that everything would be positive again.
Talk about this for people to imagine that believing in a current trend is only relative and timed, so look at the market trend with an objective eye (out-of-game) so that If not, then it will not be absorbed in the psychological game of the market. Finance is a game of psychology!
What do you think about this?

Well, it is not an uncommon thing if there are some peoples use psychology to gain profit by taking advantage of the other's fear.
The very important thing to know is the market condition whether if it being manipulated or not. If the crypto price falling in the market, we wont panicking if we know that.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT? on: October 06, 2018, 04:13:09 PM
The crypto world is growing everyday even with the rise and fall of the crypto market, that hasn't stop the massive growth happening now. Altcoin particularly has evolved that even noobs find it promising to lay hands on some coin.

Yes with a good and lucky trading you can earn some good money from crypto. Also through investing in an ICO or doing some bounty hunting you could find yourself with tons of tokens.

So months after months, you've earned yourself with tons of tokens but currently doesn't have much value or you just don't know what to do with them. You keep getting that hunch that your tokens will blow one day and you will lambo.

The truth is, we never can tell which project will eventually succeed or fail, we can only do research and hope it succeed like following up the project and see if any positive progress is happening. Many tokens dumped shortly after ICO and has been dead since while some are fairly stable. Personally, im a hodler because i believe cryptocurrency is a gamble which we sometime win some or lose some, so i HODL hoping in the long run some will succeed.

So, what do you do with your numerous tokens? Do you convert them to fiat or Hodl the ones you can?

It is up to you if you want to keep the tokens, or send tokens to other address. If the tokens still have value in the market, then why not to sell it ?
Either to convert it to fiat or hold it until it moon, it will be depends on your understanding about the tokens company's project.
If you believe the company will be succeed in the future, holding is worth to do for the upcoming profit.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Mining Asset | GMA on: October 06, 2018, 04:03:17 PM
So, GMA will be the waves token right ?
About waves token, i have a question. Does listing a security token in waves network will be difficult like in ethereum network ?
If the token liquidity doing good in the market after listing, it will be a good project to invest then.

Yes, it is a waves token and you need to have a waves wallet to participate in their ICO.
Actually waves token is more simple than eth, so i think the listing in exchange won't be difficult to be processed.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or EOS? which coin will survive? on: October 06, 2018, 03:55:59 PM
Share please your opinion
What are the +/- for each one and Why will this one survive?
Maybe there is something that you see and other don't

Well, i guess eth and eos have a different function. Eth is created for investing on a project by ICO's and
Eos is used for developing many dapps with their token in eos network. If in the future there are no more good ICO's, then ETH will not be survived.
1186  Other / Archival / Re: Be Safe on: October 05, 2018, 07:40:56 AM

The recent happenings of  hack are becoming rampant that exchanges are no longer safe. If the exchanges can get hacked this means you and me stand no chance at all so in view of this if you can do get cold wallet/ Web wallet to keep ur funds safe,  never leave ur long term bags on any exchange.

Do not visit random links and also stay away from airdrops requiring your private keys or Passphrase.

Do not store your private key or passphrase online.

It's called a private key or passphrase because only you should have it and not even the developers of the app has access to it and that is why if you lose your keys you have equally lost your walllet.

Stay positive and waiting for the bull run.
Stay safe everyone!

Could you be more details about what kind of hack happened recently ? I think if you store your coins in big exchanges, it will be secure because they hold many peoples coins, not just you. But the cold wallet is the best wallet for security indeed, because you are the only one who can use it to move your balance from that wallet.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop allowing manipulators to switch you off and on on: October 05, 2018, 07:29:31 AM
This is what often happens in the cryptocurrency market.

Sometimes you just see the price of the entire market going dip as a result of statement made by one influential person. Such persons are agents of FUD and yet you continue to reverend them because of their past or current achievements. They scare you to sell cheap to them, and later, they reverse their statement through someone else probably their cohorts, then the prices start to skyrocket again, then you start playing catch up to buy again even at prices far above what you sold to them. And the process goes on, starts all over again.

My friend! wise up and stop allowing someone to switch you off and on. You are not a toy robot.

Learn to stand your ground amid such manipulations or low market prices.

This is not an extraordinary thing because in cryptocurrency, price fluctuation is a common thing i believe.
Because no one control or regulate the price of crypto, then the price is easy to manipulate as long you have massive amount of crypto.
Just keep strong and stay not affected by the market manipulators.
1188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the King ! Why ? on: October 05, 2018, 07:14:37 AM
Bitcoin is known as the king(father) of crypto currencies , but why is that so ?I have been for several months now reading a lot about the whole crypto ecosystem, i even bought several bitcoins.
Enough background, now on to the topic at hand.

1. Low Fees - Nowadays the average fee for BTC is under $0.5 that was a very good sign for adoption of Bitcoin on large scale. In late 2017 Bitcoin fee was very high around $15 and that time the model of Satoshi Nakamoto  is seems to be failed to transfer across the world with almost no fee but the fee is very small and one can easily make a transfer of $5 anywhere in the world.

2 Store of value - It's still a lot. Physical gold has survived wars and governments. Now we have it's virtual version(Bitcoin) that can't be falsified and is easy to carry and trade. Isn't it great?
Bitcoin is functioning as a payment system in Korea and Japan. I could even order food with it or pay the dentist nearby. It's fun to be using something nobody else does, it's a great talk at parties and a great speculative asset, just ask all those traders who made it their full-time job.

3. Lightning Network - LN is making Bitcoin more valuable. Small stores and companies accepting bitcoin using LN that was perfect for small transactions.

Well, the points you describe are not wrong, the fees of bitcoin now is lower indeed, but there are other coins which have lower fees than bitcoin i guess. Bitcoin will always be a king for cryptocurrency because it is the first crypto in the world that many peoples already used it.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Mining Asset | GMA on: October 04, 2018, 02:26:25 PM
I think this is the first time i see ICO base on Waves coin network that already start working before they end the ICO.
Gold price is far stable than crypto price, so it is good to spend your money in this kind of project.
It will be interesting if it become a great gold mining company in the future.

Yes, there are very few ICO projects run in waves network. And i think waves is easy to use.
You can make your own token in waves network anytime with a simple way. And i think GMA use that as the advantage of their tokens.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what if altcoin or bitcoin crash? on: October 04, 2018, 09:28:43 AM
What if altcoin/btc crash? Are there possible ways to get our money back?

The crashing of cryptocurrency is unavoidable, but it will recovering after crashing because that is usually happened for years.
You can get your money back, as long you have high patience to wait the market to recover back to the price that you bought it.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the massive creation of Altcoins can be stopped? on: October 04, 2018, 07:57:43 AM
I was just wondering after the altcoin being successful there have been more unreasonable coin that has been created, hence there are more people will  doubt it, and seriously more and more coins has being created just for profit I mean you can gain some profit off of it but its not the reason why a founder should create one.

After seeing so much coin being created and been abandoned with gaining profit from it made me think that if the new coin stops coming then we could focus more on some reasonable coin and some coin that is currently being developed.

Well, you cannot stop the altcoins creation directly. But eventually it will stop if they just only making altcoins without a good project or a real usage.
The only altcoins that stay survive and growing will be the one which have a good products and have been massive adopted by many users.
1192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any good movies related to/about bitcoin? on: October 03, 2018, 03:48:08 AM
Good Day Mam/Sir,

Just a question, Are there are any existing movies related to/about bitcoin? How much do you think will it affect the interest of those people who doesn't know bitcoin?

I would love to see movies related to bitcoin just like The Wall Street, Boiler Room, Inside Job, Wolf of Wall Street, etc.

I think i have read somewhere, there is a movie about bitcoin, it is Unfriended. I don't know if it is a good movie or not, but it definitely a bitcoin related movie.
If you want to learn and gain more knowledge about bitcoin, then this forum will be better than the bitcoin movie.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can cryptocurrency succeed? on: October 02, 2018, 08:24:51 AM
Cryptocurrencies have proven that we Can transact anonymously without a centralized interference.
The Blockchain has proven that data can be stored in a decentralized public ledger against any form of manipulation.
Smart contracts has proven that two or more people can trust a system in which the assigned contract managing it will be fair to all parties...

When speed, simplicity and efficiency is added to all of this I think decentralization and blockchain technology can go far in the real world as regards adoption.

What do you think of the chances of cryptocurrencies to succeed?.

Cryptocurrency is very easy to use, the thing that make me concern is you must store it on your wallet securely.
If you holding coin in a wallet without best security, there is a possibility your wallet can getting hacked.
Crypto will succeed if it mass adopted by many peoples in the world.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: October 02, 2018, 04:26:36 AM
I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

Well, i know that investing on most ICO will required KYC to process, but if only airdrop, i think it is not necessary to do so.
Submitting KYC documents means you give your identity data to the others for only small airdrop rewards. Not worth
1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin investors more focus than altcoin investors? on: October 01, 2018, 10:04:59 AM
Hi, I'm a crypto developer doing dapps and blockchain-related software products.
I have found some interesting difference between bitcoin investors and altcoin investors.
It seems like bitcoin holders(like you guys) are more focus when discussing news and crypto-related issues.
Altcoin holders are more...how do I put this....more impatient and cannot focus on any subject for more than 3 days.
What do you think of this phenomenon?

I think yes, bitcoin investors can focus more than altcoin investors. Bitcoin is a currency, but altcoin is not only a currency.
There are many dapps running on altcoins network. Altcoin can be used for other things aside as a currency. That's why altcoins investors can focus on several things.
1196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yahoo Finance Integrates Bitcoin, and Ethereum Trading on: October 01, 2018, 08:15:57 AM
Yahoo Finance has integrated trading with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC) on its platform.

At least you may provide some links to your news so we can read and keep sharing the good news to other peoples as well.
No wonder if yahoo really support trading with btc eth or ltc, because these are the most well known coin in cryptocurrency.
If more big parties support crypto, the bear market will end in no time.
1197  Other / Off-topic / Re: Soon we would not need banks on: October 01, 2018, 07:39:56 AM
The Ceo of Bitcoin cash recently stated that soon people wouldn't be needing banks anymore.Does it mean the world is going crypto soon or he is just bluffing.

Why ? Peoples still need the bank for saving their money, get loan from bank, etc. I think what you mean is we won't need any more fiat currency.
If the world going for crypto, there will be banks in cryptocurrency to store crypto, get crypto loan, and other things in cryptocurrency.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to invest 500$ on: September 30, 2018, 02:03:00 PM
Good evening people, im newbie in cryptocurrency and i need a hand from you guys.
I want to invest 500$ in an altcoin, can you help me pick one ??

If i were you, i would invest my $500 to buying mining equipment to start mining bitcoin or other cryptocurrency.
Investing in ICO is good, but you need to find a really good ICO which is hard because many ICO are not good enough.
Not only investing, you can use your money for trading in the market too.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to burn ETH? on: September 30, 2018, 01:37:58 PM
I know erc20 tokens can be burnt by sending them to some address. Is it possible to do same to ETH?What address should we send them to to burn if possible? Is sending ETH to  0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 will burn it?

Well, i think that is the way you burn the coin / tokens. You send the coin to the un-possessed address, so that coin will not be able to leave that address.
You can search google for the address list to burn the coin, usually there are some of them with much amount of ether and tokens.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thread : HOW TO PROTECT YOURS BITCOIN & ALTCOINS ! on: September 29, 2018, 04:19:23 PM
Hello guys !

I'm going to write the main things you need to do to protect yours bitcoins & altcoins.

First of all , let me advice you something:

If you hold less than 1.5/2 BTC , do not buy a ledger wallet or others stuffs like that.
For me , it's a lake of money , really.

So , let me introduce you the differents ways to hold your cryptocurencies. (from the safest to the less safe) :
  • 1 :   Ledger .
I won't introduce more Ledger , Google is your friend.
  • 2 : Mobile Application :
    Bread !
Really easy to use , and it's safe , with 2FA Authentificator , for example.
  • 3 : Desktop Wallet !

If you want to use it , just go on the website of your cryptocurrencies , and look for the desktop wallets !
For example , for bitcoin , electrum is really good !
Just do some research if you want to know !

Ps: Desktop Wallet could be safer than a mobile application if the computer isn't connected to internet ! (the goal of the computer is only to store cryptocurencies : no virus !  Wink  )
  • 4: Exchanges :

The worst way to store yours cryptocurencies ... Store in exchanges , like Binance , ....

If you do that , PLEASE , follow this rules :
    • Use a strong Password ! (symbols , nombers , letters )
    • Use 2FA AUTHENTIFICATOR

Have a nice day guys Smiley

Yes, it is very important to know how you gonna store your cryptocurrency coins safely.
Using mobile wallet is easier, but it is not the best security wallet. Using exchange is safe because usually exchange using cold storage.
If you have money, hard wallet is the best option for storing any crypto coins because you don't have to download the blockchain data like in desktop wallet.
