Ok, thanks...wallet now sinhro...so if i have web wallet NEO, is this ok for import or. must be GUI wallet...I dont know where is difference...I see that is only half hour to replace wallet addres on the web...

SIGH...last response to you.  I'd repeat for the nth time...READ the instructions!!!  It was so clear why you need to do them.  It also includes snapshot pictures of step by step actions you need to take.

Good luck and goodbye!

One info please, I havent GAS, so I will buy 1 at Binance, I never used Neo wallet...have NEO walet 2 address one for NEO, one for GAS...or how I transfer into wallet?

Your NeoGas has the same wallet address as your Neo. You can send you NeoGas there and it will appear in your GUI wallet.

Some more info about NeoGas:
- it's a Utility token. Just like Bitcoin or Ethereum reserve a small amount of BTC or ETH as a transaction fee, Neo uses NeoGas for the transaction fee
- If you hold you Neo in the Neo-gui wallet, you collect free NeoGas which you can claim whenever you want. It's actually free money, which the exchanges keep if you hold your Neo in their wallet.

And a little warning about the Neo-gui wallet: it can only hold integers of Neo, because Neo are actually indivisible! So only send full Neo to your gui wallet (for example 4 Neo). If you send 4.4 for example, your 0.4 will be lost and the wallet will only show 4 full Neo!

I have web NEO wallet, web...address was neded for confirmation - white list which I have confirm. Ok, will today sinhro rpx wallet, and do transaction into (NEO) to get GAS for sunday...Is best way, that replace wallet addres with new one (not doing import, because wallet-web is empty)?

Your whitelist confirmation have the FULL INSTRUCTION on what to do....much better and complete than anyone here can tell you.  READ it and follow the links.

Good luck!
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO to $40 within 8th October on: October 06, 2017, 12:02:12 PM
I am probably the only one praying that NEO take a dive before the RPX sale this weekend.

The reason?  They have a $15M hard cap...the higher the NEO value is, the less RPX we can buy.  For those aiming to buy only a small amount of it, maybe it is better since there will be very little RPX sold/available after.

Based on your questions, looks like you can't join anyway.

The instructions Red Pulse gave to the applicants are very clear and you sound you don't know it...meaning you are not on the white list.  Only people in the white list can join.  Sorry.

1. You need to use their latest GUI wallet.  You can't use any other wallet.
2. Both NEO and GAS have to be on the same wallet.
3. Transfer GAS the same you way you would any other token/coin but use the NEO wallet address.

Note that depending on how many NEO you have, it will generate enough gas if you keep it in a wallet (not exchange).  Mine generate the needed 0.001 GAS in just a few minutes.

I have Neo wallet, but never used...have confrmation for white list...but like I said never used...

...and you also never read their emails???

Careful with this info...while it is true it is not 100% correct either.

Say you send out 4.0 NEO out of your exchange wallet...you will receive only 3 NEO and 1 whole NEO will be lost....because you need to a transaction fee in NEO from your exchange.

From the exchange you need to know their fee.  Bittrex for example charges 0.025 NEO so if you send;
4.000 NEO, you will receive 3.000 NEO
4.025 NEO, you will receive 4.000 NEO
4.500 NEO, you will receive 4.000 NEO
4.900 NEO, you will receive 4.000 NEO
5.000 NEO, you will receive 4.000 NEO
5.020 NEO, you will receive 4.000 NEO
5.030 NEO, you will receive 5.000 NEO

1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO to $40 within 8th October on: October 06, 2017, 11:24:46 AM
If it reaches $40 by the time the ICO starts, we would only need to spend 25 Neo to make the maximum possible purchase in the first hour. After the first hour, only few people will get to buy more.
When is the ICO of RPX? I need to have a look at this project  Grin

Crowdsale starts on 8th October at 13:00 UTC/GMT.
Some expect it to end the suppy of 15 millions in only a matter of hours though.
More importantly, there is a white list that you have to be on.

1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I be a hodler or day trader? Give me some advice! on: October 06, 2017, 04:15:40 AM
Only you can answer your question.  I think these require different skill set, mentality and dedication.

I'd suggest you start as if you will be a HODLer then as you learn, try (with a small amount) to day trade and increase as you get more confident/experienced or withdraw if it is not for you.

A good coin is a requirement for the HODLer...you might not believe me, but they don't necessarily make good day trader coin.  Spotting what is good for each application can be acquired. Charts, historical data, news, etc. are tools you need to utilize.

Good luck!

1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: red pulse ICO worth it? on: October 06, 2017, 03:06:48 AM
How much do you guys intend to put in this ICO? Nothing special, just curious.

For me, I only put around 10 NEO on it. Since there is requirement for GAS, though very tiny amount .001, I just moved some NEO to desktop wallet then it can generate enough GAS before ICO start. Some of you should do the same, I think.

EVERYONE should move their NEO in their private wallet.  It is a waste not to generate those GAS for yourself.  I read the exchanges are claiming the GAS generated by NEO left in the exchange by various users.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RPX whitelist is OUT!!! I am IN!!! :) on: October 06, 2017, 02:59:58 AM
Me too.

Noob question. I've gone through the guideline and notice there are requirement for 0.001GAS in the wallet to participate the ICO. I've never send a NEO out before, so I am not sure if it is required to store some GAS for sending NEO out. Anyone know the reason?

I've only transferred Gas from an exchange and back and did not notice if I used GAS or not.  If they started using GAS, I didn't know when it started.

The reason, with NEO, GAS is like your transaction fee.  It is speculation but this is the reason GAS will cost a lot eventually once NEO have lots of tokens running based of it.

Thanks anyway, I just figured it out myself.

The GAS is required for ICO, .001GAS only. For now, sending NEO does not require NEO or GAS.

I just withdrawn some NEO back to my desktop wallet (the one designed for RPX ICO), then claim the GAS that required for the ICO. If you don't have any GAS already, so in the last minute, your NEO may not generate enough GAS, which force you to purchase some GAS in exchange to withdraw to your wallet.

It's better to withdraw NEO now, instead of let it on exchange then withdraw just before the ICO start.

I have been mining GAS for months...I have more than 100 GAS now Wink (...just to clarify most of it was purchased)

1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency that pays Weekly-Monthly Dividend? on: October 05, 2017, 09:37:27 PM
The two main coins I have that are POS/DPOS are;

NEO => GAS.  NEO generates GAS on time, you can claim them anytime.

ARK => ARK.  ARK payments depend on the schedule your voted delegate takes.  Mine pays weekly at estimated 10% return per annum.

That's also the oney I hold for gaining dividends. Also keep in mind that Ark is a fork of Lisk so Lisk deligates also offers rewards for voting. Dividende wise I found ark is the most profitable one.

Could you please explain to me what does it mean that delegates offer rewards for voting. I bought some ARK but really don't understand what are you talking about  Huh , so please enlighten me  Smiley

ARK is DPOS (delegated proof of stake)

I believe there are 51 delegates (almost like our Senators) who decide the path the coin takes.  Being a coin holder, you have a vote for each of the coins you have.  You can choose one of the 51 delegates and vote for one.  In effect that delegate increases his stake (and power) by as much coin you hold.

The delegates then in effect "mine" (your delegate is mining for you).  They in turn get paid proportionate to their "holdings/votes" .  These delegates then share percentage of their income to you.  As incentive for your vote they promise a certain percentage, payment arrangement, etc.  Unlike in politics, we usually vote based on the most advantageous payment to us.

Now to be able to vote, you need to;
1. Download an ARK wallet.  Chose which fits your computer.  https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-desktop/releases
2. Install (carefully follow instruction and save the user address and the wallet key).  Guard that key and do not give it to anyone!
3. Synch wallet (this can take many hours)
4. Move your coins from the exchange to your wallet
5. Vote by sending an Ark (1 Ark) to your chosen delegate. (some refund this vote coin)

Use this calculator to help you determine the best candidate in your case https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-desktop/releases

...then just wait and see a regular deposit to your wallet at the frequency your delegate offered.

Hope this helps.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons learned from BTC fork on July, 2017=> SEGWIT2X on 11/2017 on: October 05, 2017, 08:21:59 PM
Maybe they want you to think that way? they have forked Bitcoin for many times already, the only advantage the last one had was the backing of the largest pool, remember though nothing can be done to your Bitcoins, they can double spend Bitcoins all they want, but they will never spend it on the same chain, if they are willing to pay you for a double spend coin then take it and walk, staying is what they want you to do. every body hates double spent coins, a fork such as BCH was a double spent, they are forcing you to like it.

The masses ultimately decide which survives.  There are cases where the original prevailed and there are some where the fork won.

We will see...

argh next exchange signup but it is one of the big ones right?

Bittrex and Binance are my two main exchanges now.

I have one coin at Cryptopia.  Both Poloniex & Kraken accounts are now hibernating & empty.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red Pulse on sunday! on: October 05, 2017, 06:21:41 PM
I am not investing in Red Pulse because I am not investing in any of these ICOs. Investing in an ICO is stupid in my opininon and chinese are too right to regulate scam ICOs. I am not saying Red Pulse is scam but there is no guarantee that it will be rewarded

...and you are advertising ICOs???  Roll Eyes

You cannot pull out even if you want too.. I want to pull in i missed the kyc by 12 hours...Bugger....Anyone have a link?
The KYC kind of put me off. Same story as with Kin...
A friend of mine in the US used a fake passport and got in.  KYC is a joke.

Indeed, it's mostly a formality

Joke or not, they probably reduced the "fake" users by more than 50%.  As long as they did due diligence then hopefully the governing body won't (or can't) blame them.  It is CYA and at least create the illusion of complying with the regulations.

As with everything, laws/rules/regulations are only followed by the good guys. Wink
