1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wine company using blockchain to eliminate fraud and secure authenticity. on: July 10, 2020, 01:36:50 PM
But I guess a centralized database can be edited by an insider when it comes to blockchain it can't be which maybe the key difference why they are going to implement blockchain for tracking their products but I don't really think they can stop counterfeit bottle by using this kind of track because consumer maynot be validating the products which they bought from a store with the publicly available ledger.

Inside jobs are probably barely a problem in this scenario, plus blockchain might not be immune from it if it's made to be editable, like it often happens with all these corporate blockchains.

The biggest problem is that this setup if full of centralized intermediaries - various validators, verified vendors, shipping companies and so on. In the end of the day, you trust that none of these entities have swapped the legit items with fake ones, or that they haven't tampered with in some other way. This is exactly what we have now with the centralized approach.
If the company is maintaining all the nodes in a closed space then there is no point of doing this, but I feel they are trying to do implement blockchain technology which maybe a good news to take from this. They have to analyse the possibility of reducing the centralize things if they really want to take those fake products.
1182  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: July 10, 2020, 11:26:15 AM
Many people are currently suffering from dementia due to the virus in that case, if the use of cryptocurrency is implemented in our country, then the economic development will be very fast at the same time with the introduction of Bitcoin people will be able to find a source of income and solve financial problems very quickly. The country and its government will depend on it to use their own cryptocurrency.
Introduction of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin won't bring any employment to your nation so it is not going to give any immediate solution to current pandemic situation. And we are talking about government controlled cryptos which are not really cryptos because they use centralized blockchain so it is not much different from digital fiat and banking transfer, every transaction will be noticed by your government.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ProjectS Review, before your investment in 2020 year on: July 10, 2020, 07:40:26 AM
Even after extensive analysis about the project completely still it can turns out to be a scam so first we need to ready to lose the money we are investing if you can't means then stay away from new projects. And also I don't think not much projects are worthy enough to invest in 2020 so don't take any risk.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Potential Valorant Esports betting sites on: July 10, 2020, 05:29:42 AM
I can see lot of YouTube streamers are playing valorant game in the recent days which means this game also have some fan base so definitely in future we can see lot of tournaments related to this game which eventually makes more gambling site includes this game into their betting options.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wine company using blockchain to eliminate fraud and secure authenticity. on: July 10, 2020, 04:06:23 AM
How is it different from a centralized database that also stores and tracks ids of their products? A lot of companies that have to deal with scammers counterfeiting their product were using these methods even before blockchain was invented. And what would stop scammers from doing the oldest trick in the book - copying the identifier of a genuine item and slapping it on their fakes?
But I guess a centralized database can be edited by an insider when it comes to blockchain it can't be which maybe the key difference why they are going to implement blockchain for tracking their products but I don't really think they can stop counterfeit bottle by using this kind of track because consumer maynot be validating the products which they bought from a store with the publicly available ledger.
1186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: July 10, 2020, 02:31:14 AM

Talk to them about the percentage, not a good idea to just follow our suggestions to you how should be the dividend. Both parties should agree to the deal, win or loss. Since you are the one managing their money, try to include your "talent's fee" to them.

However, I don't know why these people offered you to trade their money. Do you mean they witnessed how good you are? Who are these? Friends or random people? I just hope they are really the ones who offer you to trade their money and not the other way around as I found it suspicious.

A close friend. Not random people as others have suggested. They have witnessed my trading and know that I am profitable so they feel comfortable with me trading their money.
What if you lost their money? You need to pay back the money from your pocket or just nothing to be paid.

I will say just keep a secondary account so you can keep track of all the profits and losses you have made so it will be easier for your friend to understand what is going with his money.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how big? on: July 09, 2020, 12:10:16 PM
Gambling industry is one of the place where huge amount of money is getting circulated, millions of money given as rewards for lottery winners everyday which means the lottery owner should be making in billions. It is not possible to calculate how much money is circulating all around the world related to gambling.

no not everyday but the reward depends on the platform and on the players playing   .  for lottery prize pool resets after every win so you cant say that there are millions on it all the time .  most lottery are also government based and the total earning wont go on them but on the government  , million prize are going to the winners too not on the operator  . there are illegal gambling too and thier income is hidden so its not possible to calculate all money here in gambling  .
There are some places in the world where gambling is the only business they do which means where we can find lot of lotteries.Million dollar prize lottery depends on which lottery and the bet amount, yes we have to pay a big chunk as a form of tax for every rewards while casinos also have to pay the taxes based on the regulation which still remains one of the big part to play in their economy.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins are never perfectly stable on: July 09, 2020, 10:05:10 AM
We can see lot of new stable coins in the market after huge bump on tether's trading volume and different coins says they are backed up by different assets. Most likely all are same and every coin has risk while holding them for long time. Also many scam coins entered into the market with the name of stable coin so don't trust every stable coin, just use the one with enough trading volume for holding your profits for short term period.
1189  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: July 09, 2020, 07:37:19 AM
In arab countries also the condition is same, they are evacuating foreign people to give opportunity for their citizens.Yesterday a local media reported that 800K people lost their jobs in Kuwait and they will be returned to the native region in real soon. Most likely Indian are affected due to this visa cancellation because they are the people who work on every sectors of different countries.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 09, 2020, 06:51:39 AM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?
Some new coins will coins will be traded for high price as well depends on which exchange it was getting listed but most of them will get hit after it got listed but it doesn't mean we can't make money from it.Still we can make profits if the project team is working on the project on its further development so it will be a good for long term plans. In reality most project team is not developing them which makes it as a dead project after few months.

Exec Embezzles $22M From ‘Influencer’ Marketing Firm, Spends Nearly Half on Crypto Gambling

I know this is an old article but I'm just surprised that crypto casinos is this big already.

The article says one person has lose maybe at least $10 million in a casino from a poker game, I mean, how big we are already? I'm just amazed.

Can we just discuss the market size not the gambling addiction or anything related to that?

1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: One game vs a variety: which gives higher potential to a casino? on: July 08, 2020, 03:21:08 PM
It depends on the game, I will go for the site which has one game and giving better user experience while playing because they can give best compared to multiple casino game sites. But if we just love to play different games at the same time then multiple casino is the good to go.For me its the one game gambling site is more appealing.
1193  Economy / Economics / Re: Privacy Coins and The Shadow Economy on: July 08, 2020, 02:26:21 PM
In these times of crisis, it's evident that people recur to illegal ways to get access to goods and services. The privacy coins will allow anyone to achieve true freedom and financial sovereignty that was never thought possible before. With truly anonymous cryptocurrencies like Monero, Grin, and Beam, the shadow economy could grow towards unprecedented rates. I think that governments will start to "hunt" for privacy coins now more than ever because of this.

Do you think that privacy coins will be largely adopted in the shadow economy? Or will Fiat continue to dominate? If we put aside price volatility of privacy coins, and focus on their utility, the shadow economy could work as intended without the need to rely on banks (Fiat) ever. Only then, the shadow economy will become truly unstoppable.

What are your thoughts? Huh
Fiat still dominates at every illegal activity related transactions because most people don't know about crypto currencies yet so eventually the one who is involving in illegal activity also uses fiat more compared to cryptos. When it comes to privacy coins, government always wanted to stop them but it is really possible? No if someone using privacy coins then there is no way to stop them all they can do is to stop the trading platforms but people from darkweb always have a path when government make it as illegal in any places.
1194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: July 08, 2020, 06:20:55 AM
Buying signals or being a part of signal group has more negativities so it is better to analyse the market on our own and try to execute the trades.Don't be in a hurry to complete more trades, just a good trade is better than 10 trades with profits and losses.People have shared some guidance here about analysing the market and also lot of online courses available to learn more professionally about crypto trading.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is safer, USDT or Binance USD? on: July 08, 2020, 05:03:01 AM
Lending crypto currencies is itself not safer so don't choose any coin for it.Maybe we can say exchange reputation matter but do they really give enough interest rate to get some good returns?

You also have to add the inflation rate which is approximately 3% for USD per year and keep increasing every year.So better trade with coin than looking for passive income.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still enjoy the anonymity in gambling in the long run? on: July 08, 2020, 03:54:51 AM
I can see better anonymity while playing on an online crypto gambling while compared to a physical casinos but on rare occasions we may need to undergo KYC in that time our personal details may get exposed but as long as we are playing with little money and getting decent amount in return we can be completely stay anonymous, the suspicious arises only when we won huge amount or huge changes in our account's log details.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not participate in non reputed bounty managers campaign on: July 07, 2020, 05:08:06 PM
Some bounty managers are directly involved with scam projects. They themselves build a website, run bounty here and scam investors money while promoters receive nothing. Kakatua is one of examples. So, it is always better to only participate in campaigns which is managed by reputed campaign managers like Yahoo, Hhampuz. Remember, it is better to join one campaign a year than hundreds in a month.
Every reputed campaign manager might be a random member when they began their managing career so we can't simply saying simply avoid campaign if they are new to the campaign management. But now we have better system like trust and merit on bitcointalk which might give an idea about the user who just begin their campaign career are how much contributed to the forum and trusted when it comes to handling money.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 07, 2020, 07:32:16 AM
So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?
Currently BAT has no value because it is not listed on any exchange so yes you can liquidate that coin into fiat or any other cryptos.Do you keep tracking that project's development?

If it is not progressing for too long means there is no hope for it to have value even in future.

Sorry for you loss.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1.1 BTC in 35 Days on Sportsbet.io on: July 07, 2020, 05:27:00 AM
Calculated risks will give good returns and which is highly possible to achieve in sport betting.I am not actually a sport betting person and even in this pandemic I don't have much opportunities to be on my favourite sport like cricket because major tournaments like t20 world cup and IPL can completely cancelled. You have good luck as well as skills while analyzing the game but never forgot that gambling could turn anyone life upside down overnight. Cheesy

Be smart and be cautious while betting.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to spend Bitcoin on: July 07, 2020, 04:52:39 AM
I agree with you I also did not spend too much on my bitcoin Bitcoin is a very profitable currency. We can make a lot of profit if the price goes up That's why I have invested and kept it as the price goes up But sometimes I spend on internet or buying a product.
This kind of approach will benefit the user but has some disadvantages for the bitcoin itself, because bitcoin was originally created for payments not as an assets so if we keep holding and trading them for profits which may change the intention of its creation. So keep holding as well as spending for your daily needs if its possible is a good things to do.
