Klopp just announced that he will leave Liverpool at the season end not sure that this was expected, maybe by fans that follow Liverpool closely, but does come as surprise to me
will be interesting who will take over the club, do you have any expectations @cryptofrka @buwaytress, not sure who else is Liverpool fan as well
Shit, this really came as a surprise for me. Just read about it, Lijnders apparently going as well (he had a shot at the position in my opinion). Here's Klopp's message to the fans. Fair enough if he can't be at 100% anymore, the problem is that he at 40% is the 2nd best manager in the league and he'll be extremely hard to replace. Full interview is here, for those that want it in more detail.Who I hope we get? Well, tricky, Xabi Alonso would probably be the first name on my list though. Just no Gerrard please. ___________________ Klopp could endure everything but Darwin Nunez, eh?

Woah, Sinner. I am so bummed I haven't watched it, it started at 4am local time. When I woke up (7am), it was already over.
I read that Đoković did not have a single break point in the whole match. Crazy if true.
To be perfectly honest though, if Medvedev gets to the final, he'll be my favorite for the title.

Hello @trofo and cryptofrka, don't know if this is a suggestion or should I call it help. I was thinking if there's a way one can actually see through spreadsheet answers with mobile. Like if you guys can leave a enough space for viewing answers since there's always some space left at the spreadsheet. Because mostly one is always with his/her phone and its can be easily checked without having to use a laptop. Summary, I can't really check my opponent answers with my phone when there's a long answer to a question. Can you guys leave enough space for the answers to be viewable on mobile. Like right now , my Microsoft isn't responding and instand of me to just check my opponent answers with my mobile, I can't see all his answers because some answers are long .
A tricky one - we know it's a problem, yeah. The thing is that we don't know how much we need to widen the columns in order for them to be visible on phone. Most of the columns in which you can't fully see the answer would have to be too wide compared to the others, which would then ruin the experience for those that check on PC. How many of you check the spreadsheet on the phone? If it's only a few then we'll probably leave it as it is, but if it's a lot we'll find a way to show full answers without ruining the experience for others.

Klopp 2.0 is ready to cook.
Yup, we all thought that this season would be a transitional one. To be fair, if City was on their standard level, they'd be on 55 points so far - but they have missed KDB and aren't looking as strong as usual. It's for the taking, I love that we're in a position in which we can mount a real title challenge. Even if we don't make it, it will help to speed up the process of the new team gelling together and being mentally stronger for the future. It's quite remarkable how easy these transitions are under Klopp. United is transitioning for 10 years, Chelsea as well. It's quite hard to do properly, especially on a small(ish) budget.

Yeah, why wouldn't Indonesia score in extra time to ruin my pick? The amount of 'against the odds' situations that are happening to me are beyond belief.
Harko, I'll still get you though. But a lead would have been nice to start with.

Anybody watching Zverev - Alcaraz? Zverev destroyed him in the 1st set.
Alcaraz had it easy so far while Zverev struggled a lot, I expected him to win easily. He'll need to improve drastically to have a chance to turn this around.

I was checking the spreadsheet to see if there some weirdo that had Algeria to finish as the (4th) last in Group D and to my biggest surprise there is none!!! @Cro2 have there been any round where everybody across all division all got the first question to a game round wrongly ? If no then this round should be null and void, what the actual hell of a tournament! Not sure about the 1st question, but occasionally we have a question which nobody answers correctly. Since we have 50+ people playing, it's getting more rare though. cryptofrka and Trofo allow me to make some suggestions for BSFL since I am not competing this round. I was thinking if you can create official BSFL telegram channel for posting important news, updates and notifications. This can be under Sportsbet, or independent channel, but I think it will help for next season to reduce number of people who forget to post predictions on time.
Crossed our minds at some point, yeah - but as Harkorede said, most of the things in BSFL are already known and work on a defined schedule. If BSFL expands to 100+ players (which isn't something we're looking to do at this point) or if we have problems with relaying information in the future, we'll see what to do to change it. We have a group, so both a group and a channel would be overkill. We could maybe improve a bit and pin stuff more often.

... there is saying "When you sell your brother, even your buyer will not trust you.", but just that these time they are not selling their Brothers, they're selling the place they all call "Home!"
Isn't it that most African teams don't really have that national pride between the players? I always imagine AFCON as a tournament in which European players of African descent that haven't really seen Africa fight for spots in these teams to try and get better contracts across Europe. That's how I basically see all of Africa's top teams - filled with 'mercenaries' - am I wrong here or not? It's just a feeling though, I didn't search for any statistics or data that would support it. This is a great place to ask - which African teams have that 'pride' element and which are simply made of foreigners that care more about themselves than the national team's success?

Preko internet provajdera.

I just submitted. Trofo is still contemplating his answers but there's nothing to wait anymore. Sabalenka is leading 4-2 in the second set after winning the first set so that should be an easy win for her. All other games are after the deadline.
Of course there is. If Sinner does well against Rublev, I'll take him to win against Đoković - so I need to make sure he's in the semis and that he does not play 5 long sets to get there. Rublev would be easy meat for Djoko - so then I'd go with a different answer. I always overthink everything, yeah

Yep, Jota is the smart choice from LFC when Salah is out. He'll play a lot of minutes and be in the centre of all the action.
I wanted to take him, but I'm stopping fires everywhere across my team and have no resources for smart moves, just mandatory ones.
I really can't wait to finally use that wildcard.

Wow Ghana, I just saw that they got eliminated for blowing a 2-0 goal lead against Mozambique in extra time.
This AFCON has some crazy stories, the top goalscorer is currently Equatorial Guinea's Emilio Nsue, a spanish 3rd Division right-back who couldn't get games in the Bosnian league 2 years ago. Some of you might remember him from La Liga, he played a few seasons for Mallorca before moving to Middlesbrough.
He plays as a striker for Equatorial Guinea, and apparently he's good at it - at least on this level.

Quick one @trofo and cryptofrka, did you guys change the ATP question or are my having Eyes problem lol, because I saw semifinal in question before, and now I'm seeing final.
Yup, we made a mistake and changed it. Everyone that submitted before then was notified. You can find more about it here.No league game right?
Nope, next round we continue with the league. We have to finish Div 3B this week in order to start with their playoffs.
|
|
|
They have been one of the biggest disappointments of the tournament so far. How can you lose 4-0 to Equatorial Guinea?
A lot of good teams have started slowly though. Ghana, Egypt, Cameroon, Tunisia, Algeria and Ivory Coast should all do much better than shown so far.

thank you CRYPTOFRKA SO NO CHANCE FOR ME TO RECHED DEVISION 2 for the next season
Unfortunately not, you needed 1 more point for the playoffs. It usually comes to such small margins, so better luck in season 4.

I think Devision 3 A its ended, so I finished in 7th did I have any chance to played in Devisio'n 2 , at the next season
The same question as you, I am in the 6th position and at least 3 users including me and you have the same points (17 points) meanwhile only 4 users will go through the playoffs round from 2nd to 5th position, you might see SD Code (Score Difference) in the standings this means if 2 or more users who have the same points then SD (Score Difference) will determine who takes the place in the Playoff round. This is just my estimate and I don't know whether @cryptofrka and @Trofo will use other methods although I still hope to get that opportunity.
Here are the rules for this season: 4 players will be promoted from Division 3 to Division 2. Division 3A winner and Division 3B winner will be promoted directly, and players placed on positions 2, 3, 4 and 5 from both Division 3’s will enter a cup-style playoff format. Out of these 8 players, only 1 will secure direct promotion. The loser of the final game of this promotion bracket will have 1 more chance though – he’ll play the 13th team from Division 2 for a spot in Division 2 next season.
So, imarios has already been promoted and Hhampuz and shogun47 play against each other for the second direct promotion spot. From Div 3A playoff spots are for entebah, ILuckyGuyI, LFC_Bitcoin and PedroCunhaYori, and from Div 3B Jinetics1111, goodpunt, MAAManda and Hhampuz/shogun47. The tiebreaker rules are as follows: Tie break criteria for league is as follows: 1. Points 2. Goal difference 3. Head 2 Head 4. Amount of goals scored 5. Anount of wins in league 6. Coin toss, probably implemented as last digit of unmined BTC block, hopefully it will not be needed, ever
Fuck men, how expensive was that croatia lose at the start of the round, if they keep the win and not fall in that last quarter i can win this round.
Its incredible with 41 correct answer im at the bottom of the league and again for second consecutive season im the team with more goals against. Im now in a very shit situation about relegation, very hard to overcome, lets see how it ended, but clearly i need more good luck or my faith is determinated.
Yep, we're playing against each other next. A huge, huge game for both of us. I have jayce and Slissy in the last 2, both very good players with very good results this season.

Well, Harko, you saved our asses a bit there. Thanks for that, I'll go easy against you in our duel. I'll hold the boys off when 3-0 up. Shame when you realize that someone called you a genius for the wrong reasons
