1181  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Carlos dominguez vs banks on: August 27, 2020, 03:09:13 AM
Let's make it clear, mate.

The Department of Finance (DOF) has repeatedly warned the public about investment scams using names of Finance and Treasury officials. The videos uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Eat Bulaga! also do not show Dominugez ever guesting in the noontime show this year.

If you've noticed, scammers are putting big names para gawing kapani paniwala ang kanilang tactic para makapanloko.
Huwag na tayong maniwala pa. Nilinaw na nila ito. Madami ng involved na personalities, even bitcoin's and tv show's reputation were dragged in sa isyung ito.

Walang katotohanan ito. We just have to be warned at mai spread na scam ang bitcoin revolution sa mga kakilala nating nagkakaroon ng interes sa mga ganitong investment scheme.
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK hospital launches rehab programme for bitcoin addiction on: August 27, 2020, 01:11:34 AM
Bitcoin addiction?
If it's for a good purpose with good income on it. Then it's certainly a good addiction though. But it was quite confusing. How come one will end up being addicted to bitcoin? Like how? By buying and buying more bitcoin? Or by frequently watchinh charts and everything?

At first I though it was bitcoin gambling that is so addicting it makes more sense if it was. Or maybe they are implying about bitcoin trading which is kinda addicting too.
1183  Economy / Gambling / Re: Don't fall for that nitrogensports scammer at any cost! Check inside! on: August 26, 2020, 08:40:29 AM
I’ve already made nitrogen aware too

i'm sure Nitrogensports are doing some actions regarding some users playing some tricks to scam another players. .05 btc reward is kinda huge just for installing add ons for a browser. Glad that OP, opened up this thread so we may also aware this kind of way scammers are trying to do. Those btc doubler and other good to be true offers by members are usually suspicious and can't be trusted.
1184  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: License to Sell Bitcoin in Person as Oppose To Online Exchange? on: August 26, 2020, 03:44:59 AM
Different rules and regulations in different countries.
If that  case of yours were always selling bitcoin personally, like it seems like his job to sell it regularly in a particular person. They have the right to find and require license. May we know which country are you talking to so we may evaluate the situation base on the respective laws about crypto activities?

Also, crypto exchanges has a registeted license and can be trusted so there is no need to question their legibility.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and rejected on: August 26, 2020, 01:03:02 AM
We just have to respect all country's views, implemented laws and regulations about bitcoin and all crypto related stuffs.
As we all know, bitcoin has been used recently in illegal ways that makes other country to prohibits the used of bitcoin. Their point us to cut and not to encourage anyone to use it in a bad and illegal way.

Despite of that, we can also see some bitcoin friendly countries which we can use it freely even to buy and spend it in different Merchandises. Others are welcoming the new technology, integrating blockchain system and they're looking forward for massive economic development.
1186  Local / Pilipinas / Re: P60 Million Worth of Gift Card Scam - Converted To Bitcoin on: August 25, 2020, 12:04:41 PM
Sobrang naapektuahan ang Sykes company at pati na rin ang mga BPO industry dito sa Pilipinas.
Bitcoin scam: Google pulls work from Sykes over employees’ misconduct
300 employees ang naapektuhan dahil nawalan ng trabaho which denied by skykes din dahil nilipat daw sila sa ibang work programs  . Gayon pa man, trending nga ito sa social media. Even their faces were posted.

 Two reputations were ruined here.
 BPO industry and Bitcoin.

It is blunt damage na nangyari ito. Mga nasilaw sa pera at ginamit pa ang google and bitcoin for their selfless purpose.
1187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual trading before actual one - pros and cons on: August 25, 2020, 08:14:15 AM
Why used a word virtual trading, just used its demo account.

Yeah, it's kinda misleading to use virtual trading because actual and demo trading are all virtual trading.

Anyhow, demo trading though is kinda helpful because we tend to practice trading, we make some realizations and learning about the right reading of technical analysis before we are going to do some actual trades. But it's quite different when we trade in an actual field.
We are trading in actual market volatility, we can see how whales are actually reacting in actual trading, we try to control the real fomo emotions, etc.

On the other hand, though practice makes perfect. But actual trading experience is the best teacher to become a better trader
1188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading platform on: August 25, 2020, 05:50:22 AM
Now I want to know which decentralized trading platform is better than Cryptocurrency trading platform or decentralized trading platform, which means which centralized and decentralized trading platform can be more secure.

It's a bit vague to understand your question here but correct me if I'm wrong.
Are you asking if which of those two are more secured? Whether centralized or decentralized exchange trading platforms?

If so, when it comes to securing your KYC, decentralized exchange can handle that one since kyc is not necessary and not to worry about your identity, etc.

But i saw some keypoints comparison from this website.

Hope it somehow satisfied your question.
1189  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Paano natin i angat ang local at makatulong. on: August 25, 2020, 03:47:42 AM

1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: August 25, 2020, 01:30:00 AM
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

They are just trying to make a hype for xrp. Though some predicted that way but from it's price today of $.2. Honestly, $10 is overly predicted and overestimated. There's actually no big progress on this coin like upgrade or new about their project to speculate it that much.
Anyhow, I saw this prediction In this link which I believe most likely to happen.

1 year xrp forecast: .439 USD
5 year xrp forecast:  3.320 USD
1191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain solution for Pension system of Primary school teachers of Bangladesh on: August 24, 2020, 08:04:34 AM
It's all about using blockchaim technology for "pension system". They actually proposing it for  good reason. And this is also good to influence other to use such blockchain for convenient and fast systematic approach that others may want to try and use.

“We believe blockchain will increase confidence in the e-pension system by ensuring that payouts are based on accurate and authentic information,” said BCC’s executive director, Parthapratim Deb.

See? Governments wanted to integrate a fair and honest system with accuracy for the sake of teachers. They wanted to use some modern technology like blockchain system to fix some issues like inaccurate payouts and infos.
1192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 reasons I see $100k in next 2 years on: August 24, 2020, 06:03:51 AM
We didn't reach $20k yet and it is said to be speculating to get $100k.
Isn't too early in two years? Despite all of those bitcoin movers reason, whether it is big mover or not that is only presumptions, speculations. I may gonna believe that if we are in $30k-$50k right now.

You also included  reasons like defi projects, it is not sure yet that it may gonna last(im referring to defi projects) Yes, it is currently at a hype right now but the reutation of it is not that established to be one of the reason behind that $100k price if ever. Anyway, I respect your presumptions. Afterall, this is a free community. It will gonna happen, but not too soon like two years from now. Maybe 10 to 20 years in the future.
1193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you lost money on Bitcoin you either bought in the red or you didn't hodl on: August 24, 2020, 04:16:22 AM
Makes sense. I'm actually a bitcoin long term holder.
And to be honest, bitcoin experience a curve market movement but I still did not lose much and that's a perks of being a long term holder.

And I kinda agree on that younger generations like our daughter, grandchilds will be the next generations that will highly consider bitcoin as a good investment in the future. Though gold is taking a stronger grip even in the future, but bitcoin will not be left behind and will still continue to rise in terms of advancement technology and in terms of it's value making it more special.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto passive income - a bubble? on: August 24, 2020, 02:03:06 AM
Mining isn't that profitable.
Well, of course depends on which coin will you gonna mine. The electricity cost much plus coins mined are undervalued. It is only worthy if you mine potential coins. I'm not also into staking but I have tried a few times of giving out some loans here. Yeah, it's risky and scary because some may not pay you and will become your deficit funds at the end but the passive income exists there.

I am focusing on trading right now, investing few coins and sometimes gambling. Investors have different ways to earn passively, some wanted to be part of the new projects defi. Whatever we may take, it is always best to earn wisely and not to be unworthy at the end.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in NEO now? on: August 24, 2020, 01:10:32 AM
If you look at this chart from coingecko;

That is a 10 day chart. It was obviously pumping well. So if you'll gonna invest and buy it right now, I don't think it's a good entry.
But if you are still on doubt, there are still ways to find out when is the right time for buying entry. If you know how to read technical analysis preferably indicators, you'll not gonna seek some advice here and decide for yourself about this kind of thing.

Anyway, it's you choice to invest and hold some neo. Just let it subside a little or wait for dump so you'll be ready to get some profits after holding it. You can also consider other altcoins aside from neo. They give more potential progress and profits.
1196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggestion for making a video on bitcoin on: August 22, 2020, 07:19:59 AM
Since you already have a target audience (your local countrymen), you can make an entertaining videos like doing some animations, insert some memes to make it more alive. Audience wanted to watch not boring and not long videos.
About the topic, most of them are very confused about bitcoin.

-Make a good introduction about bitcoin.
-How it can be used.
-Why is it considered as store value.

And lets be honest here, audience is very much interested on how we can earn through bitcoin. If you'll gonna give out an overview on ways to earn with bitcoin (just state some ideas first how can we gain from it) , they will gonna be interested about it and will look forward to your next videos.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: August 22, 2020, 05:26:34 AM
I've enjoyed all the facts written here. Appreciate your efforts to compile all of these.

This one is interesting;
Quote
29.All gambling in Finland is controlled by the government, and all of the profits go to charity.

Finland government definitely did a good job on this. Doing some good deeds from gambling gains. First time to see such good idea from one particular country.

Quote
22.A village in India is addicted to chess after one man taught everyone how to play 50 years ago to stop excessive alcohol use and gambling which has now all declined to almost nothing.

This just indicates that even some gambling addict can be change just by diverting attention into other forms of acts, other games, etc. There's always a hope not to be too hooked and too addicted in gambling.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why I am focousing more on $ALTS than Bitcoin on: August 21, 2020, 10:36:33 AM
What altcoins do you usually trade?

Because I do both, bitcoin trading and altcoin trading, too. If you have  better results and gains in altcoin trading, then it is good for you. Though we can't deny the fact that both btc and alts trading has a risks of market manipulation.

Some also said that altcoin charts is easier to predict and read than bitcoin. Perhaps, it can be. But for me, if we have the same way of reading it with a good tools, whether it can be bitcoin or altcoins then we can do better trades.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you agree to insure your participation in the bounty company? on: August 21, 2020, 08:43:28 AM
Sorry but this method is for desperate bounty participants only. Paying fee inexchange of  guaranteed payments? Its unusual way, a weird assurance and a suspicious method. It will just lead to misunderstanding, we can't prevent to think that paying fee's a way to scam participants.

Unsure projects, that's very normal nowadays. It's the reponsibility of bounty participants to choose  a good projects and not with the unpotential ones. I also agreed to consider some escrow services for assurance of payments so the participants efforts will not go to waste.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto cards on: August 21, 2020, 06:34:20 AM
Interesting. I have been into telegram group wherein they are talking about this bitcoin credit card. Until I saw your post today and go back to their conversation and lost their convo. Had an urge to search about Monac credit card since it is available in Asia countries but seems not available in my country.

But I saw another interesting bitcoin credit card that we can consider:

Anyone here try this one?
