Just a tip guys. Use sgminer 4.0.0 instead of cgminer. Then use optimized .bin files not the optimized .cl files. Optimized .bin + sgminer 4.0.0 will give you  20kh/s to 30kh/s more. For those miners who uses cgwatcher, you can download version 1.3.5.2, rename the .exe file sgminer to cgminer so that cgwatcher will recognize it. Remove argument "-scrypt" since sgminer was designed for scrypt mining.

Or you could just use cgminer with the optimized bin files and get the same results WITHOUT the bugs that sgminer has.   Roll Eyes

I am getting a heck of a lot of work restart requests from middlecoin.  It's basically killing my WU, which means I'm leaving money on the table.  I'm pretty sure it's because of whatever's going on on their end too.  It's getting damn annoying.  Basically seeing about 83% here.  That just ain't good.

Coinedup would mean getting on coinmarketcap and coinwarz right?

Maybe a 10.000 KDC bounty for Cryptsy?

Just switched back miner from CASH to KDC, and staying here for a bit Cheesy

coinedup gives the chance to get listed on coinmarketcap but coinwarz only lists coins that are traded on cryptsy.

That's not true at all.  Coinwarz uses api's from Cryptsy, Coinex, Coins-E, Vircurex, Bter and BTC-e.

Friends, Romans, Countrymen... lend us your pickaxes!

Come bring your hashes to PoolMineWith.Us!
 - the not-so-premier KlondikeCoin mining pool
that virtual money can buy!

This thoroughly lame pool advertisement was sponsored by absolutely nobody
and brought to you by my burros because I was too lazy to carry it myself after
mining KDC all day long and drinking all night long.

Ah, who am I kidding, I was drinking all day long while mining KDC too.

Bring your hashes on over to PoolMineWith.Us for these historically low difficulty rates!

Small pool means bigger block shares!  Or something like that...

We have snowy mountain views!  (No, not really.)

We do have PPLNS/1% Pool Fee/Plenty of room to stretch your legs!

Why do I suddenly feel like a used car salesman?   Roll Eyes

Ive been reading about the Chinese New Year and found this

Quote
Chinese New Year is the longest and most important celebration in the Chinese calendar. The Chinese year 4712 begins on Jan. 31, 2014.
[...]
The Lantern Festival

In China, the New Year is a time of family reunion. Family members gather at each other's homes for visits and shared meals, most significantly a feast on New Year's Eve. In the United States, however, many early Chinese immigrants arrived without their families, and found a sense of community through neighborhood associations instead. Today, many Chinese-American neighborhood associations host banquets and other New Year events. source*

What I make of it, related to the crypto world is: many chinese are prepairing for the new year. So low on trades and thus sets prices bit lower. But... all the chinese will hook up with eachother and ofc tell their family and friends of their crypto-coin business. I believe after the Chinese year new many more new miners and investors from China will move in.

I see a golden road for a real, serious coin like Klondike Smiley

(must admit im riding leaf also atm, making nice profits I use to buy up more KDC Tongue)

Not to be a debbie downer, but the 31st is also when the new Chinese rules on Cryptocurrency transactions go into effect.  Nobody know what February 1st will bring.

Source?

It's been all over the news for the last two months.  Nobody is sure whether it means an outright ban or something... "less severe".  What is known is that China doesn't want its fiat tied to virtual currency at all.

this coin is dead i think.. on coinmarket it will be removed soon because no buyers anymore and no other exchange will take this..

wow and this happends to a 200 pages thread

You sent me a PM two days ago to buy my 46000 KDC. You changed of opinion or you want to see cheap prices ?

i just wanted to make people feel that something went wrong and they wake up.. Tongue

and no i don't want cheap prices anymore, i have enough KDC now  Smiley

Hey, I'm okay with the prices going down a good bit more.  Just means it's a good time to stock up before it hits Cryptsy & CoinEx...

Oops. I've said too much...  Grin

another newbie account with no history pushing cryptsy.

very your an asshole. spend more money on support rather than these shill accounts in this forum

CRYPTSY SUCKS, PERIOD. WAY WORSE THAN COINS-E

How about 4 weeks and my ticket about the SBC that I withdrew that never even showed up on the blockchain because THEY were on the wrong fork still has gone unanswered.  Haven't had a problem with Cryptsy getting my coins to me yet.  Sure, they can be slow... but I've always gotten my coins from them.

Sure - point your mining rig at PoolMineWith.Us!  That'll get you started right quick!

Pitch a tent at PoolMineWith.Us!
(See what I did there?)  Grin

We have lovely mountains to view!
(Okay, no we don't.)

But at least we're fun.
(Okay, we're lame... but that doesn't stop us from trying anyway.)

Well the good news is that PoolMineWith.Us is still hashing away and finding blocks.

We're still hoping to pull hash rate from some of the bigger pools - our 50MH promise is golden.
If we hit a sustained 50MH/s pool rate for 48 hours, we'll drop the pool fee permanently to 0.75%.

Looks like everybody is abandoning all the other coins (including KDC) because there was a huge difficulty drop in doge earlier this evening.

Even the big KDC pools are down to about half of the hash rate they had from last night.

What's happening? :s  Shocked
What do you want to be happening?

Hi  !

Is it possible to unlock my account "iparlov".
Thank YOu !

You're gonna have to do a bit better than that... unlock your account "where" exactly?  Account for what?  A pool?  Who are you talking to?

  • Remove code referencing SHA256d mining, FPGAs and ASICS. Leftovers most probably still remain.
  • Maximum allowed intensity increased to 42.

Okay, why?

Regarding the first one, that's part of the beauty of cgminer was that you could run both at once.  Especially now that we have ASIC scrypt miners hitting the market, especially hybrid miners.  On top of that, hybrid coins?  I'm still waiting to see a coin that couples multiple hash types.  Taking out SHA256d is plain dumb.

Regarding the second one, an intensity of anything more than about 25 is probably going to crash a machine.  42 is overkill beyond belief.  I doubt any api calls let alone console screen updates will even work above 25-30.

What's wrong with bfgminer?  thats what i have been using from the begining

Nothing?   Huh

With --scrpyt it just hangs at:

[2014-01-28 17:59:31] Started cgminer 3.7.2

I sent you a PM, hopefully it might help you out.

If you're still having problems with cgminer, you may want to give either GUIminer or BFGMiner a try.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Over 250 votes on cryptsy : https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/63923/page/last#post-214752

Time to add this coin on cryptsy

Meh.  The last round of coins had something like 700+ "votes" before they were even in the "consideration stage".

Well that's interesting - he took the precompiled binaries out of the directory finally.

And yes, you forgot the --scrypt option on the command line.
