What do you expect from the halving next year regarding price development of Bitcoin?
Currently, the price is very stable although there are created around 3k new Bitcoins every day. In my opinion, the price stability results by a constantly increase of demand. When the supply will be halved in 2016, the price should be grow linear if the current demand stays the same.
What do you think?
The obvious common sense thing to think when demand is same as now but the supply has halved, the price should go up, so buy your bitcoins now and hold until the halvening ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Pressure is already leaning downwards. I think it's very pikely we fall all the way back to 220 from before this dead cat bounce. Thte time to sell and take your profit is now.
Thanks for the advice! I've just sold all my coins ready to buy them back at 220. Your a legend!!!😀 the sarcasm there is undenaible (ig there actually is hopefully) at the moment OPs prediction is a bit random with no market activity supporting this hypothesis infact we are stable at 25 for over a day which is a achievment in its own right lol ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) OP maybe wants us to sell the bitcoins so he could buy it all cheap, just saying ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

We have €448m to the International Monetary Fund is due this Thursday (April 9th).
Then we have public sector wages and pensions, €1.7b in social security payments made by the state (April 14th).
Then we have a €200m loan repayment to the IMF (May 1st).
Now correct me if I am wrong, but if Greece cant pay any of these 3 bills we are talking about the first "western modern" country to be technically in default. If they resort back to the Drachma, it will be one of the most worthless currencies on the planet.
What I cant really figure out is the outcome, both worldwide financially against the Euro, and obviously against Bitcoin. Will we see BTC as safe heaven? Something tells me only a little, because the average Greek is not highly IT literate, but I could be wrong here.
Give me your thoughts people, as this goes down in about 3 days from now!
If Greece defaults Greece will have to pay it back anyhow.

Either trade them or risk some of them investing in a casino... But whatever you do, keep most of them in an offline wallet ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) A bit scared to invest after the loss, so better right now in the wallet haha ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I will be getting about 50 btc to invest, looking for some great investment opportunity, it should be able to give me some handsome returns, open for suggestions, you can even shoot me a pm. If you have some great proposal, i will entertain. You need to show me what value you give and what is the roi and the risks involved. You can share your experiences on your investments below. I personally had recently lost about 180 bitcoins on some bad investments, so not looking to commit the same mistakes again. The lessons i learned from my failures was 1. do proper research 2. have the right people around you, 3, do not do if you don't know all aspects of it. 4, always get some upfront experience before investing your own money.
If you don't mind someone asking, how did you lose the 180 btc? I understand that for people who are relatively inexperienced with trading or investments, or even those who consider themselves experienced, it gets frighteningly easy to lose money investing their funds. If you can give some details you are comfortable with, people with longer trading experience such as myself can offer you a few tips and maybe even directions to better potential investments we know about. If you are not comfortable talking about it in the thread publicly, we can talk via pm as well. Looking forward to talking to you more about this ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) AJMAX I had invested in a bitcoin based restaurant and it happened to go bust. That way i lost 180 btc, my mistake was not knowing much about restaurant business, may be should have called this restaurant impossible guy haha. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Ft3.gstatic.com%2Fimages%3Fq%3Dtbn%3AANd9GcSG2OdDuIxR0yrRCkPVpc8j_zQQ6lGZUSDfyGH8-48QkmIyTWoA0w&t=663&c=ihNpDhSPluC-Tg) I can imagine. Trading must be done conservatively and after all the research and risk management is taken into consideration - something that took me some time to master as well. Your best bet is to reach out and find sources of passive income (providing bitfinex btc swap for example, but that will at best net you 0.05% profit a day, and with 50btc, will net you 0.75 btc or barely 1.5% a month - very low). Lending is a good option if you know who you are talking to (ID, etc). I am personally doing trading and investing on btc movements, and so far I have been doing quite well. I previously had an account here used for that purpose, with loan history to prove that I can do business with decent % return every month (8-10 %). I was unsure of security after the last bitcointalk.com hack so I created a brand new account. The largest loan I concluded was about 8 btc in size that lasted over a few months, so if you are interested in making passive income with interest on loans, I will be happy to accommodate the terms. If you wish, I can also do phone calls and ID verification (would be an easy thing if you lived in US especially), or if you live close, even in person interview. Let me know if you are interested via pm ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It will be nice if you can send me a proposal via pm, i am going to call it a day, feeling tired and sleepy, going to get some rest.

dude, just hold them or you will probably lose all. good luck. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Thanks, if i don't find a great investment, i will hold the coins 100% don't want to ever repeat the same mistake ever, had so many sleepless nights. i would buy some (10-20%) Litecoin (second biggest crypto) but keep the rest of your BTC. when you buy other cryptos, you can also go to a casino. there are no "better coins" than bitcoin. bitcoin will be no 1. do some research about network effects. take a look at the amount of investment and brain-power in bitcoin. the best investment oppurtunitiy is to start a bitcoin company. just my advice... (or gamble) ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Thanks for the recommendation, i will do some research into current state of Litecoin and decide to invest or not.

Well, i would invest them into promising altcoins. Some coins made a very good performance over the last weeks. I would not trust any other investment opportunity at the moment.
I would like to test the waters in the altcoin scene, if some good coins are to be found giving decent returns over week i may give it a go.

If you can spare it, I would invest in Ripple/XRP. 100K shares of xrp will cost you about $800, or 3.5 btc.
Ripple is trial testing its crypto technology with 30 banks and is engaged with Western Union, Earthport and other big financial players. The risk to reward ratio is great for this one.
Good luck with whatever you choose, H.
Recently they had some issues about their funds being frozen. Anyways i will see into it. Ripple Labs was fined by fincen for compliance issues, now they are on the road to 100% compliance (the first crypto to so). There are no frozen funds. If you want to research go to xrptalk.com, very helpful forum. good to know that it is solved, i will see into it.

How about any alt-coins ? We need a little help our end getting a stellar dev. to do some work. Don't know just throwing this out there ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Altcoins i tend to find very risky, some altcoins i have watched had wild swings and some even disappeared without trace. I need to find a investment that will give me some returns monthly or bi weekly.

Currently, the safest investments are a trezor or a paperwallet. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Seriously though, I do not believe there are any programs or systems that are real and safe, where you can invest. I know of BTCJam, and have heard of good things if you diversify and do small transactions with only A and B Verfied, but have never used it. You should just hold for long term. I am just trying to get some suggestions or business offers to invest if i dont get a great one, i will hold the coins, the value will appreciate over time.
