Not entirely sure what you are implying.. but consider this... since there was no premine or IPO, what does the dev/GES have to gain from a "scam"? They would have a lot more to lose than to gain since their identities are known and their professional reputations are on the line. They have the most to gain in the long term, when things come to full fruition. I'm not saying that this is going to work out perfectly as idealized- and if you read the milestones as they are written out in the OP the devs don't expect this to happen overnight like many of the traders appear to implying and hoping for- but I have a lot of confidence that this company, which is clearly very successful, will be successful- to some degree- in this endeavor. Anybody who supports crypto should be behind this idea, because this is one of the directions crypto needs to move in if wider adoption is desired. |

Already ~30 BTC in the IPO and still 6 days remaining. People buy this coin mainly because of Drakīs rep, but letīs see how much BTC are in the IPO at the last day. I fear itīs already overpriced.
A 30 btc marketcap would be overpriced  The mining production is very slow to start, so at the start we can assume the marketcap will be based very closely on the presale. |

Am I the only one who finds it bizarre how people here on btctalk in general trust the word of a 1st post dev when they say they will be implementing a gimmicky anonymity feature in a coin in 2-3 weeks with absolutely no proof whatsoever yet we have seen in this thread copies of contracts, agreements, business licenses, employee names, linkedin profiles, a youtube page for Milesh Nair going back to 2009 that has videos about commodities in his playlist, GES listings on numerous 3rd party commodity sites, archive.org snapshots proving its existence at LEAST back to 2008, photo numbers, street address, a detailed analysis of the Urea and commodity industry...
....and yet many people STILL think Green Earth Systems is not even a real company!
Is this truly kookoo land? I know some are fudding but I'm disappointed how many other seemingly rational people with a decent posting history is so skeptical.
One should always be skeptical. I'm still skeptical but I've bought some because, as you point out, this appears far more legitimate than most coins. The reason one needs to be more skeptical in a case such as this is because of the magnitude of the claims and promises made. What this coin wants to do is a pretty momentous, far-out goal and it is hard to believe at first (especially because of how many scams do take place here) so of course it needs more substance than the usual coin to back it up. |
