1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: charge fee for IEO listings on: August 29, 2019, 04:25:09 PM

There are smaller exchanges offering its platform for projects IEO, be careful picking one because there are fly by night exchanges.
I have received a PM from one of its agent in linkedin and they were just asking few BTC. You might just try doing it in the usual exchange who does IEO like the latoken and coinbene.
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government-issued cryptocurrencies...Are they the Future? on: August 29, 2019, 01:39:53 PM
We'd be witnessing it all happen in the future. 5-10 years from now, we might be able to see most kids are only using their phones to conduct transactions on stores and paying stuff with the government issued coins.  Chinese "digital yuan" is probably one of the first that will be widely used because even today they are already into digital transaction over the counter.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IEOs is a game for top exchanges. on: August 29, 2019, 01:22:52 PM

Small exchanges has found a way to do marketing for traders and that is to conduct IEO to new projects. Its hitting two birds in one stone for them, the small exchanges earns the trust of IEO investors, they gradually become popular and also found some partners in the guise of these project developers. Not bad if the teams are actually legit but we'll find out later.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: August 28, 2019, 06:53:17 PM
the movement of altcoin is very slow and the increase is difficult to predict for now, investors are starting to dislike altcoin and move on to bitcoin which is stable and very profitable. so this year it is very difficult for altcoin to pursue high prices because of the reduced level of investor interest

Unless there is a big event that impacted the interest of investors, most alts will be left behind, I guess! Bitcoin dominance seems to continue and it would be better to focus on bitcoin for future investment tool while waiting for the good news for alts.

That event may not come for a very long time. Its two years already and nothing happens to most of the altcoins at all.  Come 2020 it will discourage most of the bounty hunters and will soon find new jobs instead  Grin This is why I'm working full time to my day job and will only come in the forum when I got home. This prolonged bear market is sort of a punishment for the people who had not dumped.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WINK.org of TRON Network!!! Do you guys try the gambling site of TRON? on: August 28, 2019, 06:45:03 PM

Why rebrand, the name TRONBET is already well known in the community. They did a campaign in the forum that it reminded me to invest more on TRX.

I don't know where from I have received 200 WIN today in my VenaPi wallet. Isn't WIN/WINK the same token?
I didn't try any of these though, I have tried rocketgame and some others in VenaPi DApp.

I hope so. I also got some WIN/WINK airdrop from the Venapi wallet not sure if its it but its logo has this winking eyes lol If you receive 200 WINK then you must have millions of VENA tokens. Congrats!
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: August 28, 2019, 06:30:34 PM

There are some good projects but they are just distributing the tokens months after its listed in exchanges which will give you worth less than $100 after 3 months of promoting them. This will just make you wait til the price goes up again the worse that could happen is if the project turned scam, you'd rather be withdrawing that $100 or get nothing.

1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to buy crypto? on: August 27, 2019, 12:46:48 PM
7%? it's still way high for me.

Why not just do the conventional way of trading by registering to a known exchange and just buy the crypto that you want according to the market's price? the thing is that there's still a fee but it's for the withdrawal but still that's way lower than the 7% that they are offering.

you know ways to buy with fiat cheaper?

If you have fiat then you can buy bitcoins from p2p sites like LBC where there is no fee but the price might be slightly higher compared to the market price but still you can reduce lot of expenses from that 7%.

P2P is best when fiat. It may not be cheap but that's the best way. You can also contact someone in the local board here in the forum, you can always find a local group who joins local bitcoin or cryptocurrency event. I once join a crypto event last year and end up buying some EOS from someone with cash. Knowing someone who is into crypto and make friends is exciting.

1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Still looking For New Coins When Bitcoin Dominance Hit 90% on: August 26, 2019, 08:45:54 PM

Whikle Bitcoin's dominance hit 60%+ base on coinmarketcap, there is just no chance for me to hold more than 3 BTC right now. The altcoin is where I can have a ton of it so I focus to hold some altcoins like EOS and TRX. Keeping 25k TRX is possible than having 25000BTC. No matter how much I work all day for the rest of my life I wouldn't get that much. I'm looking for new and profitable coin and I hope I can earn thru campaigns.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont be fooled by the market on: August 26, 2019, 07:56:26 PM
The life of altcoins are also up to the community who believes to it. If you are fooled twice, and you still hang on then shame on you.
ETH and XRP are top coins why would that disappoint your friend the market has been this way since 2018, he can obviously see the two are still on the top rank. The possible answer I guess is his patience to this altcoin bear market.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum update on: August 25, 2019, 09:02:08 PM
So moon will be after the fork then?

Halving usually makes its price shoot up and so if they adjust the transaction fee then this will be good for the ETH fans and the projects using their network too at least this time the gas will not be such a burden. I haven't read the update. Did they mention about their TPS also?  It will still have the same problem if the congested network is not going to be solve with this update.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SWIPECRYPTO - Monetizing Mobile Engagement Data on the Blockchain | IEO on: August 25, 2019, 08:49:51 PM
Congrats to the team. Binance DEX it is. I can see the trading of the token in Indodax is about to start. They will also be doing a trading contest, this is going to be a good start for the listing in tokenomy.  This will be happening this August 26 so if anyone interested, it will have more volume. Coingecko listing says that SXP is worth $0.24?

Have your team updated the blockpost?  I did install it a month ago, it doesn't do anything when I open the app. How do you compare your project to the I-chain project?

1195  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ip banning, do you think it is pointless? on: August 15, 2019, 06:16:37 PM
Exchanges and casinos block ips from the United States but everyone just uses a VPN, why even block their ips in the first place when you know they are going to do it anyways.  I'm guessing they do it so they have some type of deniability?

It's not going to be popular thing to admit to, but yes, it is a form of showing regulators or authorities, in the event that these somehow get questioned, that they did have measures in place to comply. It's actually quite a strange case to me because they're not exactly compliant in any case, but it's a sort of cover their ass situation.

To be fair, the services I use who block IPs would never use that (VPN) as reason to block and confiscate.

The banning ip is just something of a precaution just to show they are doing something to prevent their citizen from playing to these casinos and trade on exchanges. If they use VPN and then complain to the government when they are scammed, the government will just say " i told you so" Smiley And they're caught violating their laws.

1196  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-08-15] New IRS Warning Target Crypto Investors Who Misreported Trades on: August 15, 2019, 05:52:18 PM

...
However, what would the IRS say if I have bitcoin to trade to an altcoin and earn profit in bitcoin? Is that taxable?
...

They would say you have a gain and need to report it as taxable income. And depending on the amounts involved you may need to file and make quarterly estimated payments.

There was a Cryptocurrency Tax Software which were advertised lately on google ads which they may later be used for it. Did a bit of research and found out Cryptocurrency Tax Software isn't the only but there are several of them actually. IRS is the scariest of all government departments.

Transaction between two individuals may be very common if they'd be taxing Crypto Investors.
1197  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: August 15, 2019, 05:25:12 PM

Even today that BTC price has dip due to this bear market, the crimes involving crypto are still counting. Just recently there were news in my country that gamblers in the casino are kidnapping fellow gamblers for ransom. Its not on the news world wide but news clearly says it involves BTC payments for the release of their victims. I guess they knew how to hide behind wallets.
1198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin faces more decreases on: August 14, 2019, 05:50:36 PM

If its going that way then its going that way. We're all in this together anyway, its not like some other exchanges has extremely different price. There is nothing left to do in crypto but to keep waiting where it goes. If you try trading with the few knowledge you got trying to work out with the indicators, there are only two results, you either win or lose. But I wish btc to be just $1000 if they really can bring it down because at least this will give us fair chance to own at least more than 10BTC
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forkdelta ridiculous order book on: August 13, 2019, 07:55:40 PM

You can look at it as an exchange for low ballers of shitcoins. I saw some bid orders there which he can actually get about a million coins with 0.2 ETH, and this is because the token isn't listed anywhere than forkdelta. You have to pick a specific but or sell order to make a transaction, that's how p2p suppose to work and that means you have to choose the larger quantity else you would have make another transaction.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Almost all the altcoins in red again! on: August 13, 2019, 06:20:20 PM

It happens almost every week that coins gets red and I guess when you trade and look on the hourly charts, you'd always see the time to sell and then again wait for the time to buy. It started last year, its not going to end in just a year so this red altcoins is going to be the usual scene. Although bitcoin has risen to more than $10k, there is nothing yet that is for the altcoins. Most of the good traders look at this as an opportunity to profit while the prices are low and those who accumulates by trading are the ones that makes these fluctuations.
