1181  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2024 will be a good year for BTC hodlers. on: November 28, 2023, 11:51:50 PM
I was viewing someone's status on WhatsApp, then I came across that image, and I just said to myself that next year the price of Bitcoin will really be bullish compared to the current price. Although no one can actually predict the market correctly, we know that we are approaching the bull season of Bitcoin, and the price will not be as bad as during the bear market, when the price bleeds.

That na correct bull wey wan run for next year, so any body wey never still buy bitcoin, na ur self you dey do oo, because me I know for sure say na regret go end every thing, for those wey nor join this accumulation train. Sacrifice now to reap the benefit next year or by 2025 and thank me later, yes we all know say volatility of bitcoin naim dey make the market risky but, that one no mean anything because, despite the volatility wey e dey experience since dem create am till now, the major thing wey we dey see for em price na bull run everywhere, that na to tell you say, no matter how bearish the market look like, em major direction na to skyrocket.

So I go advise make una hold the bull by the horn and allow am to run to em destination.
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: November 28, 2023, 10:28:19 PM
Until now, the Altcoins is more risky than Bitcoin, this is not recommended to hold huge amount for longterm. Because some of them will always have news that has a very big impact on the price. Like one of them would be the top gainers or top losers.

Absolutely correct sir, though bitcoin and every other coin, token... in the crypto world are risky to invest in, that why most people often say, invest what you can afford to loose. But technically that statement is wrong, no matter how small it is, there is always an emotional impact when we loss some of our money, despite the source. So investing in altcoins is risky so as investing in bitcoin, but that of Bitcoin is better than altcoins. Even the SEC acknowledge Bitcoin for what it is, so how much more we the bitcoin enthusiasts. As bitcoin price goes up, most altcoins will definitely follow, so investing in some altcoins now, isn't a bad idea but I refer to just concentrate my holding on Bitcoin alone so don't get tossed around by this price movement of shitcoins. Holding bitcoin for long time will definitely give you some profit with satisfaction of holding experience.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Compounding altcoin profits in bull run? on: November 28, 2023, 10:07:10 PM
Op trust me this idea of jumping from one coin to another is not a good for your financing health. Even if you choose to start with €100, I bet you might get tempted to increase the amount after successfully making this profit you desire. Its possible for altcoins at this time to increase to 100% in their price but, how would you differentiate those that have come to stay and those that would disappear in a twinkle of an eye. No matter how careful you'll try to be, those altcoins who move 2x their price are usually low when it comes to popularity and their their market cap, in other words they are not to be trusted. I'm happy you understand the risk behind the decision you're making so all risk tolerance would be on you. They say a word is enough for the wise, I think I'll end my advise here and let you learn from your own experience.

You have a very low probability of coming out successful with this idea. but anyway, good luck.
1184  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Investing or trading with emotions on: November 28, 2023, 09:01:41 PM
op this is a very solid advise you gave here, but i would like you to change the topic to "FX Trading with Emotion" because, from the topic it seems you'll be talking about crpto investment, but i didn't find any trace of crypto related gist. however it is assumed that, trading with emotions are characteristics of a newbie trader most especially when it comes to FX trade. i have heard and seen some newbie trading who will pay money to some telegram signal groups for daily signals, i must confess, most times their predictions seem to be a bit accurate while other times, you'll experience a serious loss, but the fact still remains that most people depend on these groups for signal and neglect the choice of learning and studying the market and its movement. indeed some person would want to make a huge profit without proper study and at last they'll end up screwing their account by using too much lot price with no knowlegde on how to place the take profit(TP) and stop loss(SP).
1185  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: You really need to be careful on: November 28, 2023, 01:32:48 PM
This matter of a Truth you nailed it because Judas Iscariot as Bible called him was a carbinate member of Jesus but do him waiting no good for life sold him to enemies that killed him, God himself see heart of man regret why because so so wickedness him see for men's heart. Cain the only brother Abel killed him even when he was asked about his brother his still defend himself of not being his security or keeper the world have increased in diverse wickedness that even wife don't need know all about take example what Delilah did to Sampson after knowing his secret as wife many death of hero today are curse by close relationship unguided mouth always landed into destruction one must guide it mouth not revailling all his life no matter how closer the person may be because it hurt from past event and experience of others who have fallen victim.

Truth be told naim you just drop here so, even the so called people wey dey like say na dem loyal pass, na dem fit even be the the ones wey dey back stab us, no matter how close we feel say others dey close to us, but we nor no their belle. Just like one post wey I dey see online sa make we act foolish to fool the fool wey think say e dey fool us. So make as we dey follow everybody dey flow, make we still take time to select the type of persons wey we dey tell some certain things.

I go like add something for the part wey you say Cain kill em only brother. Though as at that time wey em kill am, na em only brother but later eve come still born another boy named Set, you go fit see am for genesis 4:25.
1186  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: A total beginner on: November 28, 2023, 10:51:01 AM
Op you're welcome, I no know the amount of knowledge wey you don get about this forum but make I tell you the truth, to get merit for this place no dey easy at all, especially when you be newbies wey never get too much idea on bitcoin and the entire crypto world. But with time you go come dey create very useful and good quality post dem, but before you reach there, just as one of us been don advice you, make you do more of learning than teaching because na wattin dey kill many of our newbies zeal. Dem dey like to educate people wey know pass dem wattin dem don hear like hundred times, and when you do this kind of thing dem go fit even bully you or talk something wey fit make you give up for this forum, so stick to reading, study and learning, then you fit start to ask questions for part wey you no understand, then from there you fit dey also reply people thread. And before you'll know it you don start to dey earn merits.

If you say you wan pursue merit with some kind posts, you fit dey disappointed at the end of the day, so when e reach time to create quality post, just post out of say you wan make good contribution then merit go follow you.
1187  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2023: Di Rising of Bitcoin Price on: November 28, 2023, 10:36:02 AM
One gud tin about this Bitcoin mata be say e nah very volatile coin wey get the potential to either go way or come down so low but most investors choose to only the downside of am and come allow FUD make them rush comot bodi else if say them stand fit with their Bitcoin the time price bin dey read $15k, or even take advantage of the dip come buy and hold them for don cash out big by now wey price dey $37,300.00.
For now we dey see the price dey dance for this 35-37 range but I get the belief say we go see more ups and I no go rush tok say we fit see $40k but I believe say nothing dey impossible.

My brother no be lie wey you talk oo, because this bitcoin journey so, if you no get mind and patients you no go fit profit well, them say that patient Dog eat the fattest bone, when it comes o Bitcoin this statement na true. Those wey don dey hold since 2018 go fit testify say this matter na real one. If person make up em mind to hold bitcoin make em just no say to dey sell coins anyhow e nor too good oo, make we for no go sell our coin when the market won skyrocket so, because them no dey fit give 100% prediction for the price movement. Anyway, just as mate talk as the price go up I still like am but the mempool congestion wey come increase transaction na disadvantage for one side and na also advantage for another angle because, when you reason the duration before your transaction go confirm for the block chain and the fee wey you go pay for you to even do transaction go dey fear you some times.

As e don be make we no rush sell our coins oo, because halving na next year, after halving comes bull run but before the halving, based on wattin don dey happen before, we go go dey see some kind of increase for the price of bitcoin den, after the halving na there we go fit experience the all time high, though prediction fit no play according but history fit repeat itself.
1188  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Weekly $50 Akawo on: November 28, 2023, 12:55:07 AM
Mr obari, this kind of things dey very good oo, so that person no go dey spend em money any how, at least person fit save till when the money don plenty small em fit use am do better for em life, rather than over spending unnecessarily. I think I been don still see one way wiwo dey do, but e come be like say that one na for only hero and legendary members. However I go like advice say the weekly amount wey you put for each user too big, even if na from senior members upwards. U no say some persons for this place na $65 dem dey collect as pay and dem gat settle other things like DCA and feeding. Because I know say no be everybody wey dey this forum dey like to use their normal monthly salary take invest, So why not bring the amount down a little to like $40, so that even if dem comot 10% for investing dem go still gats small change for hand then use the other one take do the akawo?
1189  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: A total beginner on: November 28, 2023, 12:26:32 AM
Op you don do well to come join us for this great forum, you are very much weliicom to the forum, already many of our boss dem don drop some materials wey you go use take study, but wattin I get for you na advise. As the forum be so, e dey value em rules dem well well oo, defaulters of this forum rules dem dey collect ban wattin no good, so as you don come so, make one of the first things wey you go do for forum be say na, the rules dem you go read, because if you fall law dem no dey look person face oo. You wey just come new naim dem go put eye pass, so that make e no be say na spam you come here come spam or you come to post dangerous links here, after you don learn the rules dem finish, then make you start to do search on Bitcoin network, wallets, mining and other things wey concern crypto. If possible e go dey very good for you to check out all those useful links wey dem don send give you, though some of them dey very broad, but if you fit finish am, na to your own benefit.
1190  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2024 will be a good year for BTC hodlers. on: November 27, 2023, 11:55:35 PM
2024 naim the bitcoin reward go cut into half, naim make am the bitcoin halving so, and based on history after halving comes the bull run, though the bull run fit no necessary come immediately after the halving event, e fit even start before the halving, then just continue to dey appreciate in price until e reach another All Time Higher(ATH). But even though things no go according to our predictions we no suppose panic because,  some day e go work for us. Na only baby investors go dey think of how dem wan take sell if small thing add, if you wan enjoy bitcoin holding, just accumulate as much as you can, and leave it for a long duration of years.
1191  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: You really need to be careful on: November 27, 2023, 11:24:33 PM
This one no be small matter oo, but some person dey look am common, the people wey we dey tell some certain things matters a lot, some times we dey tell the wrong persons very useful information wey no suppose be so, some times I fit say na because of happiness naim make us dey over share some kind things, but if at all make we dey very careful. Sometimes the people wey we think say na our friend na just Hippocrates, na only when dem dey around us naim dem dey talk good about us, or that time naim dem dey act friendly, but for our back, dem be like enemy of progress.
Na why even the bitcoin wey we dey hold e no good make we even tell some family members, not to come talk of friends. I for my self, like make my bitcoin holding dey as anonymous as my seed phrase, make e be say na only me know where I keep am.
1192  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: imagine say Bitcoin crash what nest? on: November 26, 2023, 06:33:13 AM
People go cry, some go faint many fit even die but nothing changes say this na big possiblity and every one dey aware so life go continue as normal and many people sef already get many things wey dem dey go so Bitcoin no be all and all for person. Abi you don forget say change na constant for this life wey we come as the world has been existing before Bitcoin and people have been living and so will people continue to the next advancement and adapt to the changes wey dem around for the surrounding.

Truth of the matter be say if bitcoin crash, na there you go see people wey dey talk say put what you can afford to risk, na dem go even cry pass because e no get anything like what you can afford to risk, money na money e go get how small e be, e go still pain you if you loss am anyhow. Beside every since we dey hear of DCA, abi the DCA way you dey do na N10 you dey put Huh If this kind of thing happen na everybody e go pain na that time you go take understand the meaning of "little drops of water makes the might ocean"
1193  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Recent matter suppose make pipo move Dem coin go their wallet on: November 26, 2023, 06:00:57 AM
Many of these pipo way de lose guard their funds4 exchange Dem no really no say Dem funds de at risk.many of Dem na novice way no under how important privacy b for Bitcoin dats y e de important as new to no how to keep ur privacy.

Say oo, I understand say many of them na people wey no too know much about this privacy and key matter, but I still think even does wey still know, sometimes just dey act ignorant to the fact say exchange no dey safe to keep fund because, not your key not your coins, some big investors still dey wey dey guilty of this fact. Any way sha, person wey don see all this yamayama wey dey happen for exchange wey still keep em funds there naim sabi, wattin I never still understand for this binance matter na how the former CEO just take give up em company like that, abi e get wattin dem nor dey tell us, dem only say the company fit dey consult am on some kind of matter to hear em opinion if necessary, but dem no talk anything about say after RM serve finished em go come back to em position. Abeg if anybody fit clearify me, make em help abeg.
1194  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Why do people think is a mistake to be Nigeria?? on: November 26, 2023, 05:37:19 AM
I no blame any body wey think say to be a Nigerian na mistake oo, because wattin my eye dey see for this country ehn, if to say I get money I for don go get nationality for another country, country wey we think say na better e wan dey better, now na worse e dey worse more, jagaband wey we think say na game changer, now see as we wan die for fuel price. The only person wey I fit say they work towards my expectations naim be the CBN Governor so, small small, the guy dey go close to removing the restriction from crypto. You can just imaging wattin Wilfred Bonse an aspirant to River state governorship election, how that kind of person go shook em hand for hacking another person over N50m, no be juju be that?
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to altcoins ? on: November 26, 2023, 05:20:00 AM
I hope you completely understand that the Bitcoin halving doesn’t necessarily mean a bull run? I’ve seen this ideology in numerous threads and I hope you all learn and admit the truth while it’s still early; Bitcoin halving is meant to reduce the rewards miners get by half, nothing more nothing less. As you can see, that doesn’t have any direct relation to the price of Bitcoin in general and if the price goes up at around that time, just understand it’s the hype that’s working and not the halving.

Yeah, I know what the halving literally mean, but due to history occurrence we are hoping same also happens to this halving, after the halving comes bull run, and that's our expectation, I don't care if history repeats itself or not, all I know is, its better to buy more now, so you won't regret later. Besides even if we do not experience the bull run, you are still going to be fine, and you've added to your bitcoin portfolio. Even if it just literally the term used for reducing the mining reward into half, we have experienced it acting like a catalyst to the bull run, so yeah I get your point, most time when we do use the word halving it might sound as if we are saying it's the bull run itself, and this might be confusing to some newbies, so my apologise, if i might have mislead someone in thinking the halving is the bull run.
1196  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Economic challenge shouldn't be limitation to your project on: November 25, 2023, 09:48:41 PM
For this sapa period wey we dey so, person wey dey complain say hunger dey wet nor fit manage emself well, naim just dey do em self. When I been dey for school I dey experience some kind funny acts dem wey my room mates been dey play, some times no food no money, we go dey for hunger until maybe God open road say person come send us small thing, some of my room mate go like to spend more than 3 for only rice and turkey forgetting say hunger go still strike after dem finish that one. I dey always bring the suggestion of preparing soup and garri, because na that one dey last pass. Even now sef aboki indomie wey we been dey fry for N80, N120. Now na N800. So person wey no sabi control em belle go chop the small money wey e get Finnish come dey count ceiling for night. The beat idea as the op talk na to make your own food because e go cost you less and last you more.
1197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: November 25, 2023, 09:19:24 PM
Many times there are trade-offs, and even though DCA tends to be the best, DCA might not be the best for a person who has a lump sum of money currently available, and it might be better to lump sum most, if not all of that money, and then perhaps just have money to continue to buy if the price dips.... that is why a newbie to bitcoin likely needs to consider the three categories of 1) DCA, 2) Lump sum and 3) Buy on dips, and perhaps have some money allocated to each of the three categories, and if s/he chooses to eliminate any of the categories, then s/he would have at least weighed the pros and cons of each of the categories.

Well said mr JayJuanGee, I as a person would even recommend accumulating bitcoin using lump sum because, we are very close to the halving and any time from next year, we'll be experiencing the halving, so DCA and buy the dip should be kept on hold for now, so we can concentrate on accumulating as much as we can using lump sum. However, this bull run might take us to another all time high, so missing out this opportunity or not having enough bitcoin in your portfolio shouldn't be an excuse except, you can't afford to buy more due to some financial constrain. Now is the time for every bitcoin enthusiasts to step up their accumulation game by aggressively using lump sum to make huge buys and avoid the sell button.
1198  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 40 merits in one post as a beginner, dream vs reality? on: November 25, 2023, 08:48:41 PM
so keep dreaming maybe it will eventually happen again to you.

Lol, as I see this part of your post I wan laugh Bella scatter, I never see this kind of hope before oo, which one be "keep dreaming maybe it will eventually happen again to you" all of us for this forum no how rear this kind of case dey, shabi na for dream the op go use take rank up Huh E no easy for person to mistakenly send over merit give another user for this forum, but if this kind of thing happen, e don go be that, na to just forget about the mistakenly sent merit because some users no go even send you the smerit wey come outside from the merit.

Op this type of dream na very good dream oo, the only bad part an when you wake up come discover say na dream, e go just be like say make you go back to the dream land. However e dey very had to see cases like dix so the beat option na to just make the best post wey you fit make, and merit go waka come meet you. This design to send smerit dey very OK and e go help to reduce the error of send merit multiple times or sending extra other than the one you get for mind to send.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be watchful it's not yet time on: November 25, 2023, 04:20:24 PM
Yes, don't be fomo about something that is going up or being reported by the media. The halving is coming soon, that doesn't mean we are free to choose coins, we still have to research first to buy what coins are good for the next bullrun because we can't trust what people on the internet say as well as Do your own research so you don't experience losses or scams, be a smart investor.

Absolute correct mate, sometimes these media can seem to be very persuasive and influential to our decision in buying or selling our coin, and also the choice of coin we choose, but we should rely on their predictions and their coin advertising to make accumulation decision, especially when it come to times like this. As an investor your own research should bring about the end of you decision rather than taking news from a random internet user. I love to maintain my coin portfolio just the way it is until the bullrun passes. All I'll be doing is to accumulate more but till the bull run, I'm not adding any other coin.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to altcoins ? on: November 25, 2023, 03:55:31 PM
When it’s bearrish every coin suffers it and not just the top ones, and when it’s bullish, we’ll see the same effect. At least in your case it’s BTC and Eth you bought, so there’s nothing to fear. It’ll all go green eventually, but only those who are patient enough will be there to enjoy and reap the benefits. Your post has been over 6 months and I don’t know if you still hodl your investment, but if you do, hold on to it. The patient dog eats the fastest bone.

Solid advice mate, for sure its only those who hold that'll reap the profit when the market goes bearish after the halving event takes place, so I wouldn't recommend any one to click the sell button, especially now that we are so close to experiencing a life transformation event. So I'll recommend all captains and  sailors to hold strong Cool in this journey of cryptocurrency.

In every successful outcome, there are always sacrifices to be made, and that of crypto requires you to hold for long term to obtain a quality profit. It might seem tempting to temper with our holdings, but that's the main reason we were advised to have a paying job before entering into crypto holding.
