1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why investing in the bank of a centralized cryptocurrency casino is a bad idea on: June 01, 2017, 04:43:48 PM
I think the author of that article is really stupid and doesn't know a single thing about gambling investments in the cryptocurrency world. There is really little point to discuss anything with an uneducated person who just wants to publish something out. Relatively, most gambling site investments are safe as long as the operator is declared and they have a gambling license where they operate.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to choose hi or lo in dice games ? what you have in mind when you gamble ? on: June 01, 2017, 04:38:45 PM
I am a fan of dice and I am a bigger fan of bots. I love playing dice on automated betting. Though in the back of my head I know it will never work. I still do play it this way. It's a hard habit to break and that's my guilty pleasure, I guess. Though some times I like to play with just randomly clicking hi or lo.
1183  Economy / Gambling / Re: Biggest faucet for dice? on: June 01, 2017, 04:34:39 PM
For me, yolodice has the best faucet around here. When you reach a certain level, you will not even need to do captcha anymore then you will not have to wait for a timer to get another faucet claim. They also have big claims when getting some, on mine, I can claim about 1200 satoshi per claim.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: June 01, 2017, 04:31:09 PM
The only argument is to play and win and without that there is no justification for having luck. How do I say I am lucky if I am losing or how do I know if I will be lucky if I didn't try it out. This one of the reason why I don't believe in luck because its not objective and there is no way to measure and predict whether I am going to win or not based on that. I will rather believe in chance and not the colour of my cloth or the first person I greeted or even the bus I entered among several reasons.

the only thing that we can do is we are still trying to playing gambling for a while and see what is results, if the results is we can win several times then we can know that our luck is come in that day and it works for if we are loss so we can know how is our luck in that day. without playing gambling in that day, we don't know that if is our luck day or not and we only can guess it without doing nothing and only see what other people played. we need to proof to ourself if we want to know this is our luck day or not.

Yeah, you'll know your luck at the point of playing and not really anything else. You can't wake up one day and say you feel lucky today. That's just stupid. No one can feel they are lucky today unless you play the game for yourself. It's not an RPG game where we can increase our luck stats and improve it.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for any old posts that predicted something on: June 01, 2017, 04:23:52 PM
Why do you want a prediction thread anyway? Most of them are just lucky or they just predicted the inevitable. Regardless, there is really no point in reading them because everything are just the same. People predict and there will be skeptical people replying to it and then there will be those supporting it.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is still delusional enough to think miners want to scale? on: June 01, 2017, 04:15:31 PM
You have a point, but I don't think fees are the primary purpose right now as block rewards are still much better than the fees and the fees usually just goes to the pools. Though probably if they keep this up, when we have had enough halvings then the rewards will be lower then the fees then they will surely forget about scaling.
1187  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Get 1 BITcoin without Buying,BorroWING,Gambling or Taking Survey.....! GUIDE on: May 31, 2017, 04:24:16 PM
A word to the wise. If OP is really doing so well with this method he is talking about, don't you guys think he will keep it a secret forever? What is the point of selling a guide for making money if you are really making money out of it. This is really true for any online guide you can find anywhere.

Also, I've read plenty of threads where this guy has been promoting this thing he is selling. It's practically spamming the whole forum in every board and sub-board.
1188  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANN : Shitcointalk: The Greatest Show On Earth on: May 31, 2017, 04:13:32 PM
When I fist read the title of this thread, I really thought that this was a direct assault against this very forum. Well I guess I was wrong and this has turned out to be a beneficial mistake on my part for opening it. Nice and entertaining shows and love that you review some shitcoins which usually really floods the whole forum.
1189  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GoCrypto.io Mixing Service on: May 31, 2017, 04:05:11 PM
Care to explain why you started to promote your mixing website, 25 days prior to it's expiration?
Website: https://www.gocrypto.io/
Archived version: http://archive.is/PbjiB
Quote
Domain : gocrypto.io
Status : Client Updt+Delt Lock
Expiry : 2017-06-23
Proof:
https://www.whois.com/whois/gocrypto.io  Archived version: http://archive.is/iZhKJ

Furthermore, it seems you've updated something for the domain on 2017-05-27, but didn't bother to renew the domain itself:

Last Updated : 2017-05-27
https://www.namecheap.com/domains/whois/results.aspx?domain=gocrypto.io Archived version: http://archive.is/kLSHL

And lastly, there's some mistakes on the FAQ's section.

We would love to get some first hand testers and would welcome any feedback.
What will be the process for choosing the testers?

Well that is totally a red flag right there and maybe they should be tagged about this so people will know.

On to your proposal. How do we even know, in case there would be a problem, that you did send the money we wanted to get mixed to another mixing service?
1190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should You be Concerned About a Bitcoin Chain Split on August 1st? on: May 31, 2017, 03:52:16 PM
Could a group of miners actually be so....selfish?

Miners are no one's friend. No one is anyone's friend in this space. The only thing keeping everyone in line is fear of reducing the value to nil.

Also miners are there to profit. Where ever there is a promise of more profits they will go for that. Especially if they would be the first ones there to profit and prices of one of the fork does increase then they will definitely support the ones they believe will go up.
1191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Long Does Physical BTC Wallets last? on: May 31, 2017, 03:40:54 PM
I have few USB flash drives which have 'died'. Is there any estimation how long those current hardware wallets on the market, for example trezor or ledger nano, will last?

Well that is basically a fact we all cannot avoid. Nothing lasts forever, so we really have to keep our secret keys secure somewhere so we do not lose our bitcoins or at least keep the seeds with you so you can restore all your coins when your hardware wallet dies.

By the way, maybe the better wording for your tittle should be "hardware wallet" and not physical bitcoin wallets.
1192  Economy / Speculation / Re: IF eth takes over from BTC will BTC then face a relative colapse? on: May 31, 2017, 03:30:58 PM
I think it will not happen, like what others have said, ETH is just plainly has bad scaling problems and fees are getting terrible by the day. If it does get more users it is likely the fees will even double up and exponentially will be so expensive the everyone will just forget about it and move back to bitcoins.
1193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: May 31, 2017, 02:46:57 PM
Even with Bitcoin, $50 is pretty much worthless.  Especially considering that it's only worth about 0.02 Bitcoin now.

It's a much better choice to earn it from scratch.

I agree, at $50 there is really a low chance to make a lot of money with it to the point that you will be able to sustain yourself because of that $50. Then again, I've seen plenty of success stories that started off with less than a dollar in hand. You'll just have to work smart, work hard on it, and a little bit of luck.

1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: May 26, 2017, 03:08:11 AM
Do you gamble for fun or for profit?

the initial reason or purpose for gambling is usually to gain some profit, to make some more bitcoin without doing any work but since this is not possible the main goal is always changed to having fun over time and not worrying about the losses that much.
the main purpose of gambling is to benefit and great luck, without making your job but it could have been anyone aiming with a man happy so don't worry about the losses that many, it may be common in gambling there is loss and benefit from gambling.

if you go back in history, gambling really started out as recreation for people. they use to gamble on everything like for example the romans on gladiatorial games. profit is essential to make it more worth while but gambling I think was really meant to be for fun

That is true, in the old ages people just gamble with each other, there was really no establishment that accepts the bets and play against the house. These establishments, ie. casinos, dice sites, sportsbooks, etc., have been made to fill that void. To have a reliable place to gamble where if the person wins he can claim his winnings without going into the trouble to chasing after the guy who owes him.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ideal tournament ideas on: May 26, 2017, 02:45:08 AM
After few weeks, I am happy to announce you that we started Oshi.io's tournaments!
They are based on your feedback - so no wagering, weekly with equal chances for everyone. It's all win ration based so you get points based on your wins, NOT wagered money.
Try them now and let us know if you like them and what would you improve Wink
HERE!

Great to see that you thought of a good new tournament. It's refreshing to see creativity.

However, I will not consider this as "NOT wagered money" based. This is still based on wagered money, but not just wagered, but based off your winnings. Though what I like about is that, since this is slot games, is if you get lucky even at small bets, you get plenty of points. Though to get lucky and get a lot of points, players will likely need to play a lot of games.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have found a long term and strong dice strategy. on: May 26, 2017, 02:28:34 AM

I don't care that you are talking about real casinos, read this carefully please. IF a strategy for roulette/dice existed and worked it could obviously be applied to online casinos as well because it's the same thing and they have the same odds, that strategy is based on math, nothing physical that the roulette may have. THEREFORE someone who knew about that strategy could easily go to any online casino, bitcoin/usd doesnt matter and wipe the fucking casino, if he gets kicked or banned he can easily create another account and keep doing it and eventually every casino would die, can you follow the logic on this?

actually real roulette is physics based, and he did wipe the online casino and they didnt pay him, ill tell you who he is:
https://www.youtube.com/user/RealRoulette/videos

watch from the oldest videos first. He even has a 48 min hidden camera video, and i have 2 long members only videos he left public by accident that you cant see anymore.

Regardless if you have someone who will vouch for this, there is really no way you can sustain any strategy in a gambling game. If this is true, then I'd like to point you to the website of thewizardofodds.com. He has had an on going bet, that if your strategy wins in an infinite number of games he will pay you. If you are that confident with this strategy, please go to him and talk to him about that bet. I think he is offering a lot of money if you win against his bet.
1198  Economy / Gambling / Re: directbet.eu pending bets on: May 26, 2017, 01:10:24 AM
Why are their still pending bets on this site?
They closed all operations to do with their sports book part of the site.
They should have settled any thing that was still outstanding.
That is very unprofessional of them.
And you can still retrieve your funds because they have their casino part of the site still opened.
So they didn't completely do an exit scam so to screw over their customer's completely.
If they don't honor it then you can complain and then put up a scam accusation against their site's side that is still in operation. Good luck to you man! Wink

Because the games or events, he did a bet on have still have to happen. In short, they all are still far in the future when he placed his bet. Unfortunately, directbet closed down even before his games happened. From what I read from their site, is that they will honor every all bets placed before they closed down, it's just that they are not accepting new ones.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: May 26, 2017, 12:52:50 AM
Give your vote to any kind of gambling, is that the betting on soccer games, playing poker, roulette, online gaming, live gaming....??
Besides to online game I play card game. I have an advantages in card game, I have an experienced to different type of card game. First I observe my opponent on how they play then I apply what I have to win. If I win/lose I can handle a being greedy to avoid error, I relax!
I choose card game because every game it gives an excitement, they need to read what will the move of your opponent and that's why I control the flow of the game and get more winnings.

Actually I play betting sports game sometimes but I sure that I win, I bet for the team who have an advantages from the other play and who has more experienced.
actually I agree with you. card games usually give players a good chance of winning not because of luck or chance but by skill and experience which makes it a lot more fun than other casino games that let luck decide the outcome. I prefer card games as well aside from betting in sports which I already made profits from quite well

Not really. It does give you an edge, but only if you are better than the other player if we are talking about poker or any games that you play against another player. You will still rely on luck as you wont be lucky all the time in your draws. Gambling is still gambling and that doesn't change regardless of the games we play.
1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: May 25, 2017, 04:31:43 PM
In your situation it's probably a good idea to stop gambling. When it stops being fun or you are losing too much money then it's time to stop.

For we already realize thats no lfuture in gambling, it doesn't guarantee us success even for short time.

This is the main problem with gamblers, people think that it is a quick way to get rich and they think that they will win it in the end. The fact of the matter is, there are more gamblers that gone broke in casinos than gamblers winning and getting rich from their gambling activities. That is really how the world turns. Casinos are the one profiting and not the gamblers
