1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Ways to Hack Bitcoin on: August 13, 2020, 03:35:40 PM
There are many ways that these hackers can infiltrate your device and steal your coins or even infiltrate a server and steal the coins on that server, but the one that’s mostly known is the email method that’s being used by them; most hackers makes use of this particular method because that’s what is easier for them to make use of, so they go for it. So, if you’re making use of cryptocurrency, and not just cryptocurrency, as long as you have any business to do online, you have to be very careful and be aware of every means that can be used by these hackers to gain access to your device and steal your information or even gain access to your seeds and then cryptocurrency wallet.

Sometimes these hackers can create an application and put it on Google play store or Apple store. Google and Apple do check out for these dark applications, but some of them do slip through their sight and get on the platform and people who are not very careful will go ahead and download these apps, which will give the hackers access to plant malware and steal their information. That’s the same thing with plug-ins that you’re using on your browsers, you have to be careful with the kind of plug-ins you install, best to stay clear from them and only install the ones you’re very sure are good.

1183  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc and gold can now be called "safe" on: August 11, 2020, 04:19:46 PM
The gold and cryptocurrency (btc) market are doing okay during this pandemic, but they are not the only assets that are doing okay, in fact lots of assets and stocks has been going up even at this time of Coronavirus.

Have you checked for Tesla stock? The price is even far more higher than it has been years, despite that there is a pandemic, if you check with your stocks or Google, you will see that Tesla is still on green. It’s not just Tesla, there are lots of other markets that has been on green, and some of them I am investing in.

I do see people saying that the pandemic has weakened the US dollars as a reserve currency and that another country’s currency is going to replace it. When I see people say these things, it’s quite funny. Yes the Fed has printing lots of money and I know that’s why a lot of people saying that it has weakened, but they are forgetting that demand for the USD is more than any other currency and that demand for it is outplacing what is being done by the Feds.

A lot of people are running to USD because it’s more safe than majority of the other currencies you’re going to be holding right now. Bitcoin is also doing okay, and it’s been my number one asset to invest no matter when. It wasn’t a surprise to me that the price still went up after everything, because Bitcoin has survived a lot of storm and I knew it’s going to do the same this time around.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 10, 2020, 07:35:37 PM
I feel like visiting La Liga or Serie A topic lol. Only posts about Ronaldo, Messi and Zidane!
La liga is certainly not that different than Serie A if you ask me, there is not that many teams that can be champions in both of those leagues. Look at la liga, in the last 20 years there has been 2 teams that won aside from real Madrid and Barcelona, we are talking about 17-18 of those seasons in the past 20 years won by the same two clubs, which makes it as dull as it gets and as predictable as it gets. Do you want a secret, I can say with 99.99% confidence that next champions of la liga will be either real Madrid or Barcelona once again.

Serie A has juventus who keeps winning back to back so many times and Ronaldo went there but one has 2 teams the other has one, that is the only difference, it is not like he went from a league with "who will become champions can't be predicted" type of competition to serie A.
1185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Stable At $11K – Altcoins In Green: The Calm Before The Strorm? on: August 09, 2020, 08:05:34 PM
Does everyone consider the fact that bitcoin went up around the same time as gold? I mean that looks like supports the idea that bitcoin is a store of value thing just like gold.

All economic indicators shows that the world is living in a terrible horrible situation and that means that people are losing their livelihood and money is losing value since every nation prints a ton of money and at the end the biggest one which is USA has printed trillions of dollars all of which caused money to lose value and that is why gold has gone up and also bitcoin has gone up just like gold as well.

I see this as a total win for us bitcoin people, we can once again prove that bitcoin doesn't lose value when there is an economical crisis, they instead make a profit during these bad times, which is awesome for investors.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 08, 2020, 06:45:52 PM
I never really considered United to be such a young and exciting team, I always thought about them as a team that usually fails, sometimes gets good results but that is about it, never really young on top o their current situation.

Wolves looking to be one of the other teams that has a bright future as well, they are doing very well too and I think they are going to get better. That is the great thing about premier league, there is at least 10 teams I can count that should be in the top 5 spot, that is really hard, and one of them happens to be 10th in the end of the season but by all accounts any team that is top 10 in premier league could probably be top 5 in almost any league, would be for most of them but for some of them it could be harder yet has a chance for all of them.

From what I can observe, the site's pretty good at rewarding the right kind of people (bigger wagerers and higher level people)...........

Do not forget about multi payout too bro Grin
Couple days ago I see someone hit big payout (like 165000x on dice) that huge multiplay I ever see on dice.

Jesus Christ!!! What is that??? Dude put 48 satoshi in and he got 0.08 bitcoin!!! That is in dollar terms putting 0,0055 cents, that means its not even 1 cent, that is what he played with and he has earned 920 dollars in return.

Under ONE CENT and won 920 DOLLARS, that is insane to think about, I can't believe that someone has won something this big, never seen this in my entire life, I have seen a ton of big wins in my life, I have been gambling for a long long time, even in just crypto I have been gambling for over 7 years now and I have never seen anything even remotely this big, I haven't seen half of this before, HALF, and this is just mind boggling.

I really hope I will win something like this one day, I play small as well, not this small too, I play bigger and one day I hope I can get something like this.
1189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020? on: August 01, 2020, 02:47:16 PM
Why are the options so high? I mean don't get me wrong any of them could hit but at the same time not all of them could happen neither, we don't know so I would suggest having more options if you ask me. Like for example just say 10-15k , 15k-20k, 20k-25k, 25k.. and so forth that way people could pick a lot better. I would say somewhere between 15k and 20k would be realistic and honestly I am betting on that with my money right now.

I have bought a lot lower but I am not selling right now and taking my profit, if the price goes down that means I could have profited 2x but failed to do so because I believed it would go up yet failed, but if I am right and the price goes over 17-18k that means I am going to 3x instead of 2x and that would really pay off very well for me.
1190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Living with parents again could fuel the next Bitcoin bull run. on: July 31, 2020, 02:08:46 PM
Living with parents = saving minimum of $1000+ per month just from rent. So many people moved out of expensive cities like New York City went from paying $3,000/month to living at home with parents for free. And they work from home now, so they are saving money on transportation too. Vacations are cancled, ect. They aint spending money on shit, just saving saving saving. But the gov is printing and fear of that savings being erroded is high. Panic buying incoming Wink

What about apartment owners that ended up without money that they usually get for rent? How can they buy bitcoin now. Someone else will have to buy their usually share since they ended up with only costs and might even have to sell their stacked Bitcoins to pay those costs.
That's correct because when someone is saving money there is surely someone that is loosing money/business on the other hand because while I like the idea that people are now living with parents and able to save money but most of the people have got a cut in their salary because of the economic downfall and that saved money from rent is usually adjusted in that.

I think overall yes some students can save money as they used to spend all their pocket money into useless activities but the price of bitcoins aren't going to be influenced much by some students buying bitcoins.
1191  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: July 31, 2020, 10:09:35 AM
When evidence is given, the case will be close immediately and it will be good for them. Accusation and drama are never good thing for casinos.

Exactly, they don't need to pay anything if they are on the right side. They are online everyday, just give a few minutes to share their evidence. We know they  have good reputation in this forum also in the real world. But reputation not enough, people on this forum need evidence. I don't see any response from sportsbet from few last page on accusation thread. This is not good. Many people thinking its impossible they are scammed 0.3 BTC since current gambler can withdraw their money without any problem. But, as we know, good company will solved any problem with their customers, and sportsbet need to do same think. Because this case can makes their reputation more better than before to gain more customer and gamblers.
First of all people are forgetting that sportsbet.io doesn't get all their customers from here, they have like a trillion other places where they find customers and they even had their sponsorship on a premier league team for a whole season, so believe me they could be hated here all the time and would still be profiting like crazy thanks to people going there from other places.

Secondly, I get that some people may have troubles, and sometimes sportsbet.io could be very late to respond because they usually do due diligence which also takes longer than it should but I guess they want to be 100% sure but also causes them to be late.

However just because there is 1-2 people who had a problem, doesn't mean we should wipe this place out of our memory right now, it means they are having trouble with 2 people and they will eventually fix it.
1192  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: July 31, 2020, 09:23:22 AM
Don't play on this site, see for proof: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5265260.msg54890986#msg54890986

They have predatory rules to restrict their players and milk them for money.
It is exactly what you forgot to do ToS, do you read it before using new platforms? or you know that but ignore rules. All casinos have rules to detect cheaters on their sites and protect their funds. Don't argue that rules are there to protect them but you must accept rules before participating in casinos.
According to our Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to terminate all the accounts onto the same IP. The rules apply to the accounts, coming from the same family, household, relative or a connected person that might be somehow linked with the acc.

There is a fine line where if the casino lets the gamblers be and do not put rules that means there are a million ways gamblers could cheat their way for profit and take all the money casino has, which can't happen since that would make fortunejack bankrupt. There is also a level where if you put too much rules, you are basically forcing people to pick somewhere else that has more laxed rules.

So, they have to make some rules and they have to make sure it is not too much. Like for example having 2 accounts should definitely be prohibited, there is a reason why there is a max bet and if you do second account you might take advantage of them, but the rule about sportsbook 50% stake could be removed, or at least lowered to like 25% or even 10% if it can that would be great.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many scam giveaways is it because Bitcoin is moving up on: July 31, 2020, 08:41:20 AM
I have noticed them but not only this time but even during the old times, there were scams countless times. They never give up and even up to now, they are still spreading their scheme throughout the cryptocurrency communities. The twitter account scam that promoted scams, I don't have updates with them but if I have to read one update from them then it should be that Twitter has already done their part to tracked the person responsible for that ruckus.
I know right. Scamming is like their profession. Whenever there is a hype in the market, they get back to work planning about new tactics and schemes to make people fall into their trap. Although, they need to be more creative in order to trick people now as most of the community has already been through such situations and have learned their lesson. New investors are the one who fall for such trap.

Twitter regained the access to those accounts and found out that the hackers might also have downloaded the personal data of the targeted people among which were Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and President Barack Obama. So of course, a serious investigation will be launched and the hackers will be caught.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who said that ICOs are dead? on: July 31, 2020, 07:02:39 AM
not dead but rarely used, because according to some IEO projects more profitable than ICO, until then all IEO will become garbage because all projects can be listed on the exchange without seeing whether or not the quality of the project, and ICO will take over again.
At the moment, only scam projects use ICOs to raise funds, I've seen a lot of shady projects like these in the past few months. And fortunately, investors are much smarter and more careful than before, they only care about IEO projects at large exchanges.
Yeah most of the projects that are coming up now are suspicious and even if they are legit then I don't see much interest from investors because of the pandemic situation everyone is saving their money and if even anyone wants to invest they would rather purchase bitcoins instead of trusting a new coin that has no guarantee of how it would go.

The ICO market has become to shitty now that anyone can start their own ICO by copying someone else's whitepaper and boasting a fake team and just raise some money and run away.

I think there should be some blue tick system like twitter started where we can verify if the guy promising so much is actually verified Wink.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont sell off because of the period on: July 30, 2020, 05:46:05 PM
At least, we can reduce the amount of loss even with selling in this period if we holding good cryptos like BTC and ETH. It less likely to get low and have a good potential to come higher after all bad things blow over.
Yes, if for the time being it's better not to sell first because the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum is in good condition and always has a good increase, and I think people who don't have the chance to buy BTC and ETH when the price is still cheap will feel a little sorry to currently.
Ethereum has actually shown great signs in recent times and the announcements made by Vitalik Buterin have actually pumped confidence into a lot of investors but that said those plans need to be executed properly for the price to maintain itself and see a even higher growth in future.

I like the idea of ETH 2.0 and all the announcements being made overall, just keeping an eye on the implementation and how the market responds to it.

Coming back to what you said, I don't think anyone feels sorry to miss out on a cheaper price usually unless it is a massive drop like it happened in March and people who dumped or missed buying during that time might have regretted but not buying now I don't think is much of a reason to regret because price is although moving up, is pretty slow and steady.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 30, 2020, 04:45:36 PM
I feel like if it gets a cut and salary cap goes down, it should be temporary contracts all around, remember the 2016 spike? Everyone paid players tens of millions of dollars and people like chandler parsons got huge contracts and mozgov as well, those type of stuff happened.

If the team owners realizes they could get the revenge of that, and somehow drop it, and whatever the salary cap allows them to, they will offer players 120 year contracts if they can to keep them at this lower salary cap version money. Big markets would get a lot more players in that case, teams like Lakers could offer players like Giannis the same amount of money but in LA you get to be a Hollywood star and play in tons of commercials and other stuff and the money you make on the side would be 10x easily compared to what you can make at Milwaukee.

There is also some facebook zynga type of stuff that we learned from them that shows people like to show off, they like to spend money like it is not a big deal, and they like to flex on their rake as well in krill form. So, what you could implement to make this place better is "gifts", such as tea, diamond, cake, whatever silly thing, it wouldn't be a real thing, it would be just fake and silly picture but when one player send it to another it is a gift that just means something, plus if you could buy stuff to yourself with your krill to increase your look or whatever and just like stand out, that means they can flex on their level as well.

These type of people that put human interaction into play could mean a lot more business with the current userbase do not need to grow for profits to grow, it could grow profits with the current base.

The last week has been pretty excited, though - in terms of results, here are some of them:

 - 6 correct answers out of 7 - 10X players
 - 5 correct answers out of 7 - 26X players

Quote
Thanks everyone for participation, Jackmate will be back soon with brand new ideas, challenges and more!
What is your plan with the picks that has no goal? In some occasions I had 4/7 but one or more matches ended with 0 - 0.
That message shows that there were some close people to 7/7 and that does sound like nobody won 7/7 but I think that was for the last week only, it wasn't for the whole season. However, I think if anyone won, they would have said it somewhere along the season, so I do suspect nobody won as well.

I just wanted to point out that message was for the last week of the season and not the whole season, yet for the whole season they didn't say anyone won so I think if we remove that message all together, it still means nobody has won. 7/7 is very difficult, I can understand why nobody won, hell even 6/7 is very low chance as well and kudos to everyone who has achieved something like that, normal that should be very difficult to achieve as well but some people managed it.
1199  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜— Summer Jackpot Roulette ☀️ €500 jackpots every day on: July 29, 2020, 08:35:12 AM
This is what they have strengthened in the main company being able to create amazing sites especially bitcasino which is increasingly popular in the future, I am sure this will continue to exist and cover the entire community including steve which he developed with poker at this time, but still we must know it was in their article so that it was easier to find out how it was being developed, including the event to be held.
Yeah, but I couldn't hold myself from being shocked. Think about it you are playing in two different places, one for sports betting reasons and the other for regular casino but then you learn that both of them are somehow connected and run by the same company, even the people who are running the community manager stuff are the people we know and love on both of them as well.

I just can't understand why the two websites though? Like couldn't you just combine the two websites into one? Is there a rule about that which can't allow the websites to combine? I mean stake for example has 500+ casino games now and also a sportsbook, I am sure you guys could do something like that as well, I do not see a reason why not to actually combine both of them together for one common website.
1200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those reliable exchanges on the market on: July 28, 2020, 08:27:16 PM
There is not a single exchange on the planet that is perfectly safe or where the users haven’t faced some kind of issue be it the deposits, withdrawals or normal trades. The only crypto exchanges I trust at the moment are:
Binance
Huobi
WazirX (Indian exchange merged with Binance)

I only keep the coins that I want to trade in exchanges, the rest of the coins that I wish to hold for long term are safely kept in external wallets and paper wallets. Also, I would recommend diversifying the portfolio in multiple exchanges so as to secure the capital to some extent. If one exchange shuts down, you don’t lose your entire portfolio as the rest stays in another exchange.
