1181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEWBIES: A good way to start-up with crypto. on: June 02, 2023, 11:57:58 AM
Having a proper knowledge of cryptocurrency helps you avoid unnecessary losses by being victim of scams, notwithstanding if the scammers are passing through a close friend or relative of yours in introducing it (investment project) to you, by your common enlightenment of cryptocurrency you will be able to quickly discern they are fraud despite whatever buzzwords they may use in their bid to deceive you. In that scenario you don't only help yourself escape from falling victim but also exhume such a friend or relative too. In extension, your knowledge of cryptocurrency equips you to avoid platforms that promises offers that are too good to be true as return on your investments.

They should never go on somethings they don't know even if this is introduce by their friend or family since they don't know if this will result to any positive approach to them. So best before going on something risky much better if they should research first the information you receive so that we can define that this is good and not a shady platform to invest. There's so many ways to ask for feedback and this is the importance of this community since we can ask various people who's more experience to us and get helpful information by the advice given.
1182  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 02, 2023, 10:58:59 AM
Of course, it is important to remain vigilant and informed about data privacy practices when engaging with online platforms, including gambling sites and particularly if you are using the ones that belong to less reputable jurisdictions. Use the forum, read and make sure you go for reputable sites with long standing presence in the forum and on-line. That is the best protection.

I think its more safer and even better to engage onnthebuse of gambling platforms that requires no KYC just incase of the gamblers that would like to maintain the thier privacy, because once you filled in their KYC procedures, there's no more privacy there and the kind of casino used also depends because some can go beyond expectations in tracking one through these informations and the funds we have on their wallet remains theirs because we are using a online wallet which is a custodial form of wallet with them.

Even if they could find a casino which doesn't require them to produce KYC still they are not sure about its reputation. And maybe in long run they would get more bigger trouble since possibly they might turn scam which is not new here. Before I don't like to submit this details but since reputable casino require this to their user then I go with them and follow what they require since for me they are more safer rather than those small casinos which is reputation still questionable.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2 new coins in almost 1 day? on: June 01, 2023, 03:01:38 PM
There are so many coins being created it's a job to keep up and try to get in while they are still mineable... In a month will there be 50+ altcoins? I was happy with new coins being created, but is this too fast and too overwhelming?

Most of those coins are from the same owners of those shitcoins because after they successfully cammed their innocent investors, they will create another same project with different agenda but their goals are the same they just made another pump and dump coins which will go to become hype for short period then they will going to dump the coins and the cycle goes on. as long as they know they have some people who still believe in their fraud they are not going to stop making such coins because they're making money. they only improve their way of fooling their victims.

They just dump their old created token then move to new one since this is more profitable to have by those scammers than maintaining their old creation. So we need to be aware on this since if we think we can outsmart those scammers they know the other possibilities and for sure they dump first before us. That's why its better not to invest on clear shitcoins because for sure there's no good will happen on our investment and only those scam devs will earn on this schemes.
1184  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: June 01, 2023, 12:09:16 PM
Then it became evident to me that they are not serious; they waited a year to withdraw the monies from the wallet because they assumed, as others have stated here, that I had forgotten about the funds.
I wonder why they waited that long to move your funds. They don't really care much about their negative reputation based on what I observed. There is a possibility that they forgot about your funds and remembered recently.

Whatever the case, they will never give you back your funds sadly. Best thing that you can do is write scam accusations against them within this forum and other popular sites.

They don't have reputation to protect and many forum users know how terrible they are so why  to rush fix all things where they now there's nothing they can gain with. This casino is well known for its shady activities so I'm not surprised to see such things so best to avoid it now and tell to our gambler friends to avoid this casino.

Scam accusation post is proper action to do so that there's updated accusation that people can read so that many will get updated for another case this casino involve again.
1185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]: New Bandit Stealer targeting crypto wallets on: June 01, 2023, 10:29:25 AM
So the principle hasn't change, they are dropping their dropper on emails and those who are looking for crack softwares. It could also spread and carry out in Youtube wherein there is a link that supposedly download a free softwares.
Another reminder not to click on random links or to react to unsolicited messages regardless of the source. Importantly, protect your personal information in order not to be a target of hackers if your email falls into their hands.

- Jay -

Yeah, that's the basic of it all, no clicking on random clicks, even on those originator that we know, we shouldn't just trust but to verify everything. As for crack software? Again, this is one practice that if we get involves ourselves in crypto, you should get rid of it.

It's better to get all your software with license. If you can save and HODL thousands of dollars of worth of crypto, then it's good if you could buy a genuine OS or whatever apps you need.

To many risk upon clicking those unwanted links that's why its not advisable to do that actions since we might gonna step those malwares without us knowing.

Also its important to have license software especially when we are dealing with crypto on our computers by this way we can assure that we get the legitimate one and not those crack software which we don't know if there's hidden malware attached to it and to bad for us if we download it since for sure we will be compromised by hacking issues or by malwares just like what OP posted.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another betting fraud in Brazil - part 2 on: May 31, 2023, 10:50:55 PM
I am not surprised, because such will happen where there is less payment for the players, In my country players are been paid higher fee to lose a match that's why I am not surprised, it's better to focus on popular league matches like Seria A and La Liga.

But seriously, something like this can be going on in the background too, how will anyone know that big leagues are clean of bribing too? There is no way you will know, but the only thing that makes me believe that bigger leagues are safer is because they are well-paid.

Higher payments get rid of bad intentions and bribery in sports.

It will probably lessen the likelihood of players getting involved but I do not think it will totally solve the problem. This kind of problem has been going around for a long time already and it can affect all kinds of sports whether it is small league or not. As long as there is gambling in any sport, gamblers will try to do this. I think it is the responsibility of the league to spot immediately if any of the players or teams are involved in any manipulation of the games. They cannot stop casinos from operating so they cannot stop malicious entities to try to manipulate the games. All they can do is try to spot any manipulation immediately and punish anyone involved heavily. Hopefully, it will be enough deterrent to keep the manipulation to a minimum.

Oh well on big leagues especially when their sports is so famous match fixing is lessen since its easy to spot those incident nowadays. All have camera and anyone can upload the footage anytime they want that's why some of those doings got easily busted by people and officials working on the league. Maybe the best thing they could do if they want to eliminate this match fixing or any manipulation happening they should more higher fines or even players or team involve will get blacklisted on the league for sure many will afraid to do this action and they can make sure betting will be fair with that.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price is always affected by world market news, why ??? on: May 31, 2023, 10:59:21 AM
I have been in the market since 2018. The paradox I find is
The market is always changing according to world news. It has nothing to do with bitcoin
For a small investor like me, this is undesirable
I want to ask experienced investors?? How can you capture this potential market?

Because it create fear to the people since many think that if there's negative event happening to the world it will also correlate with bitcoin and it will perform the same. We see how bitcoin get a decline when some news spread then many people spread fuds about it so we need to be more aware with this so that we can react according to the news and maybe we can take advantage with the news spreading.
You can experience more fuds to spread so try to get updated to the news on crypto scene so that you can learn more from this.
1188  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: May 31, 2023, 09:36:01 AM
As we know, many gambling sites have Kyc requirements when making withdrawals. Some people may not have a problem with this condition, but some people think differently about doing Kyc. Some people refuse to fill in their Kyc data for fear of being misused. That's a natural thing, but is the worry too much?

If you're using a KYC casino and failed to fill the required documentation on KYC, you will still continue using their platform enjoying gambling but the aspect that will pain you is when you want to make withdrawals, they will now remind you of rhe tasks left undone and ot until you have it done you will not be allowed to perform some functions you will request them to enable for you.

You need to see first if the casino will ask KYC or not since if you don't like to submit it then stay away with it. Also almost all reputable casino ask this requirements so better do it since I think our identity is safe with them so try to see the feedback first before we go to this process to see if we can rely on them in terms of safekeeping our personal details.

Before many doesn't like to do this but time past as this one became normal many KYC doubtful learn to trust those casino where they trust and as of now we don't see any data leaking so for this we can say that we are still safe with the risk we think about.

Hi I am new to Bitcointalk and crypto how do I be of significance to the forum and Bitcoin community as a whole.
I

Maybe best to read first the rules set by forum administrator and second try to do more efforts you needed in this forum so that you can contribute relevant of post or threads that can help other fellow forum member here.

Also don't over expect on anything especially on potential earnings we can get here. Focus to learn since earning follow and its really rewarding especially if you have both learnings and earnings. Lastly join many forum activities since this could help you increase your visibility and maybe that can help you to get some merits and rank up according to your target rank to reach.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Aidoge arbdoge huge opportunity Im in this coin on: May 30, 2023, 12:04:44 PM
Aidoge is very cheap now.
The name DOGE the AI it could be one of best money makers.
Overnight wealthy people will be created until 1$ there is no limits the price can go off course there is limited ammount so the FOMO Will make people to buy it.
Psyhological barrior might come before the 1$ many investors want to sell right before 0.90$ or 1$ but until 0.50-0.70$ have no resitance and it can go up fast.
If FOMO Will start then price can go up faster then it was Pepe bull run or Safemoon.
Anything Under 1$ looking cheap over the few months it could go over 100000x
This is not financial advice it's just quick analyse and Im in fully becouse it has one of the biggest growth possibility.

Just invest if you want to invest, but don't drag other people on situation that they can't handle especially when talking about shitcoin. I don't have any problem with people looking at those as perfect opportunity to gain but never put any exaggerating word like that since you will just create a unrealistic scenario to get rich easily by just investing on that token. I myself will not invest on token which is hyped by random people telling that you will earn huge amount of money with this token since most of that are just another scam.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some needed features of an online casino. on: May 30, 2023, 10:24:59 AM
About accessibility and KYC verification, you are right that casinos should add extra layers so that the underaged don't use someone else's identity to verify their accounts and gamble as it is not good for them, they should obviously ask for a live selfie to tackle the problem of someone using someone else's documents for verification purposes.

Some hate to add this up because they are worried about negative possibilities but people need to understand that sometimes this kind of verification is needed since there are criminals who stole someone's identity is doing some shitty action like that. And we will be protected to possible criminal liabilities if we consider to do that live selfie since this could verify us if the submitted documents is real and not created by those people who's planning to create criminal act or any trouble.

For so many platform exist which ask our identity before we can withdraw or do transaction for sure we can be save for that feature since it can help the platform to verify if the real user execute that transactions or not.
1192  Economy / Economics / Re: Will chatgpt really destroy the job market? on: May 29, 2023, 10:36:06 PM
When asked about this, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said the technology will never destroy the job market. Rather, this technology will solve things that people never know about.  Since all tasks can be solved easily through this technology, this bot system may be used instead of humans in various work fields.
If this technology is used in the workplace, many people will lose their jobs.

Many will get affected on it once chatgpt will fully develop nor will get good upgrades where it knows almost everything which you can do. For sure internet services related job will be affected on it since instead clients will get some people to work with them they will just get the service of AI which they can save money and work force.

But there are some areas still need.human interaction so I believe that not all jobs will be affected on this AI thing. To avoid losing a lot of job maybe its good for government to step up and set some law to ban using this kind of technology so that job market will not get affected by AI.
1193  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make first buck in crypto without investment? on: May 29, 2023, 11:37:47 AM
Check Games and Rounds board daily and take part wherever applicable: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0

Some have only minimum post requirement/activity, doable by everyone.

But some contest or giveaways have rules or they need wager requirements before you can qualify so its not the best choice for people to earn their first buck for free due to that requirements set by their representative. Maybe a best platform to start with is those faucet sites since maybe they can earn few bucks by dong some simple task.

Also if they have skills maybe they can offer something useful service to other in exchange for few bucks then they can use that on anything they want including capital for their investment if they want to try other crypto earning schemes.
1194  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 29, 2023, 10:32:12 AM

In business world if their competitor is successful there are entities will try to destroy their reputation so don't get surprise if something like this will exist. As long as Rollbit or any casino is active and reputable high ranking member also with their old time gamblers still trust them well maybe this one indicate that they are still a good casino. If they could just follow the rules and have strong proof on this claims for sure there accused casino cannot escape on their existing case.

Yes we cannot ignore all the accusations as long as they can provide valid evidence then senior users can help them, I often see new users experience almost similar problems with a frozen account like the list of accusations above, it's just that the amount of funds frozen is not proportional to the campaign funds spent by the casino so it's strange if the casino takes risk and interferes with their reputation.

To many case like this so its good to ignore those troll so that we will not feed up their ego to do the same on other platform. We only entertain those legit accusation with valid proof since this is more worth it to lend some attention.

I also doubt Rollbit or any successful casino will ruin their reputation for just like that since they could earn more revenue for providing good service rather than doing some shitty things out here. Many people still believe that this casino is still a one of the best casino exist so unless people think this way then they are still fine.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: May 28, 2023, 03:29:27 PM
I stumble on an article[1] while browsing the net and I think of sharing it here because I find it intriguing when it gives an instruction on perfecting one's gambling strategy.  To cut it short, here is the advice stated in that article:

The article suggested that one should Develop a style and stick with it.  For those who do not know how the list below can give you a hint.
  • Choose a game
  • Create a logical system
  • Record the data of the bet
  • Try the demo of the game to practice
  • Do bankroll management
  • Make sure that you have enough money for gambling(play only what you can afford to lose)
  • Put a limit to losses
  • Listen to the advice of the winning pros
  • Focus on our bet
  • Learn to accept losses
  • Know when to quit.

You can check the explanation on the link below

Now, many of us think that there is no perfect strategy for gambling due to the fact that most gambling results are random and that we don't have any control over the result of our session.  I agree with that and I see the list above as minimizing losses and/or avoiding severe losses during our gambling activities. This might be a good suggestion to follow for those who have problems with their gambling losses.  I also think that the given instruction is far from being a perfect gambling strategy to win a session but it is good enough to follow to keep us from losing too much money.

The last two (10 and 11) on the list are the key to keeping us from chasing losses and being addicted to gambling.  I believe gambling isn't a simple matter and it needs a lot of preparation and understanding to avoid bad consequences, not saying, it also requires a lot of self-discipline to keep us in check.

So what do you think about the list of instructions stated by the article, are they good enough to keep a person to have an edge against the gambling platform?

[1] https://ftnnews.com/other-news/44458-how-to-perfect-your-gambling-strategy

Some says there's no perfect strategy that may work on gambling since it matters all in luck or sometimes on skills but if we follow certain strategy we set just like what you show gambling became more entertaining to play. Although no strategy will work on long run but at least you became well discipline or practice to be it since you follow what you think that might help you.

Anyways thanks for sharing it up since this thread is informative and worth to read.

The funny thing is, most of these difficulties are in features introduced by ethereum and other altcoins Roll Eyes

This is why its important to not overdo your network with useless features for developers and crypto bros (like tokens) and to stop your community on selling out its users on the promise of 10x or any kind of silly price hikes.

Wanted to put r/Cryptocurrency in the title but I ran out of title space.

Crypto will be hard to learn if the person is not really interested about technology or they are not prepared to read long informations about cryptocurrency since they want to shortcut because there expectation to earn quick money on it is so high.. Also its normal for people to find something difficult especially when they don't know anything about it. Its just they can learn depends on how eager they are to gather helpful information so that they can adopt cryptocurrency and its technicalities.
1197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 28, 2023, 10:56:15 AM
As long as a website doesn't get majority turning against them, there is nothing to worry about a few people who complain. As I have stated a lot of times before, if a website does anything bad, then open a scam accusation topic and provide proof they scammed and we all would give negative rating, but none of them ever does it.
There are currently six threads opened in scam accusations about Rollbit:
1. Rollbit - scam 5k - GDPR PROBLEM
2. Rollbit disables account and seizes funds (10.2k)!
3. Community Warning - Rollbit ⚠️
4. Rollbit hold funds and ignore in chat
5. scam warning rollbit.com banned my account
6. rollbit scam (255 USDT)

The thing is we don't know how legit is those accusations, they've uploaded few images as evidences, but the Rollbit's representative already say there's a problem if the player broke their rule e.g. abuse or multiple accounts usage. They're keep pressuring to make Rollbit release their money.

I think how popular or trustworthy the site, there's always an user calling the site is scam. Binance is the example.

1198  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BetterCallRaul.it Domain Seized or Scammed on: May 27, 2023, 12:12:59 PM
Payment up front is something we (Cro 2) insist on when running any sort of campaign or competition on forum. We don't work with companies that aren't serius and feel like few months worth of escrowed funds are necessary to show commitment and atrract good members.
Better to always go for an upfront payment incase of uncertainties like this should occur, they may even be the ones loosing instead of putting their campaign participants on a dashed hope on nothing, but there's a level of how one could have built a rapport with these same employers/organizations without them paying up front and then you trust their reputation and representative as well, but in this case, it's risky to take and those managers that engage doing such already have their own personal money as backup in case of uncertainties.
Escrow should be the first thing when it comes to financial related activity in the forum, either a contest, giveaway and campaigns. There are many incidents happened the same as this yet unfortunately we again witness such an event where the manager suffers and covers all the losses.

This should be done first by the managers so that they can avoid to ruin their reputation since case like this will continue to exist and its so hard to repeat the same action where they need to pay their participants coming out on their own pocket. But Royse is for sure well prepared on this kind of situation and we see how he give an assurance that his participants will get compensated.
Good gesture made by other participants that they are showing sympathy to their manager and say that they don't need to get paid since incident already happened, this could lessen the financial damage gotten by the manager.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: May 27, 2023, 10:32:06 AM
Maybe all will differ on current situation of the market since majority will use bitcoin to gamble when the volatility of this coin became stable and no losing in value due to crash has been encounter by a user. We or other decide to use alts when bitcoin is doing some crazy actions and people cannot afford to spend their bitcoins that's why they look for alternative coins so that there hodl bitcoin will never get touch then be use for what they think much better way to earn more either trading it or just simply wait for the price to soar high.

From what I see, regardless of the BTC volatility and high-fee-related issues, gamblers will still be gamblers.

We don't even see a noticeable decrease in gambling activity, at least in crypto-gambling platforms using BTC deposits even recently, there's a high fee related to any BTC transactions. I don't really see that most gamblers really care about that as long as they can gamble. Alright, let's say they care for fees, they will just use coins that have low transaction fees but it doesn't mean they use that coin because that's their preference to use.

Aside from that, nothing really changes on the winning rate regardless of the coins used. For a much more convenient gambling experience, at least in my case, I like to show my balance in fiat value so that I know how much I'm putting into to any bet regardless of the exchange rates.

I personally stop gambling the time when the transaction fee is insanely high. It cost 15$ for transferring funds in a slow mode which is troublesome for a small-time gambler like me.  I think the high fee recently affects small-time gamblers and those who withdraw funds from their casino balance. Whales are probably not affected by this since it's a one-time payment and it's nothing compared to their huge balance.

What are you using to get the statistics on how the activity of gamblers doesn't change on a specific time? I'm interested to have a data analysis on the gambler's behaviour during high fees or crypto market dumping/pumping.

So hard to gamble in that situation knowing that we need to pay huge fees just to make transaction push faster and that time its not really worth it to send anything on any casino since at the time we deposit we already lose a huge part of our capital thru fees we need to spend.

Also maybe other especially those whales seek for alternative coin to deposit since there are various option to choose since for sure those fees cannot stop them to play as they have money to spend on other alts available on some casinos.
1200  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: May 26, 2023, 10:34:29 PM

But still, there are others who prefer not to go abroad and settle in their homeland with a low-paying salary; they don't want to be away from their family, and as we know, life abroad is so hard. There are really people who will say they want to go abroad so that they can save money and renovate or purchase a house, but others will also say that they don't want that house or cars. The more important thing to them is that they have their partner by their side, especially if the child is still growing. That is a really difficult part.

For those who are married and have children, it is a completely different story. I agree, making money is important, but when it comes to family affection, money cannot compare.

But it also depends on the situation and the decision of each person. Because if we continue to stay in our homeland, our difficult life will last for the rest of our lives, and our children will continue to live in poverty. But if we sacrifice 4-5 years away from family to work abroad, then we will get a decent amount of money. The remaining years of our family will be less difficult.
At some point people have the mind to move abroad and make life better. Once men gets into married life he cannot think just about money. There is need of more things to be considered. Not everyone were able to live abroad and make good money. People at the bottom level find it hard to find job abroad. For this reason most of the people at the bottom level try to get adopted to the situation and leads life.

We can't the deny the fact that its hard to stay on a job if you are not compensated well then also no chance to get promoted, this is why many think about moving abroad since they know that they will be highly compensated and can provide to their family. I don't mind doing this since I just want to make our life more better and if the only solution is to go abroad then I am ready to sacrifice just to give my family a comfortable life.

Not everyone really spot a good life abroad so for other thinking about this they should research well the country and the company to asses the risk and prepare for it.
