Those two are fairly consistent.  I would also rate WDC as fairly profitable to mine in general over some months now.      Others vary and can be incredibly profitable down to worthless and back again, ie. most coins are not stable to be able to state as worth doing

[03:25] <@binaryclock> Why it worked in TESTNET and not in live we have no idea yet

I think the pools are being attacked, standard practise on coin launches isnt it.

Would be good to get a list of nodes so we can mine via wallet.  I cant sync because nodes are not listed anywhere

What the wallet console command to add a node and use cpu to generate?
11807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start a dead coin? on: February 16, 2014, 02:31:27 AM
Blazing righteous Voodoo coin skills there and 1000 posts dead on, cant be wrong Cheesy

Try going for a zombie coin thats listed on an exchange somewhere, theres so many now it must be possible to cpu mine one of them.  I havent looked, you want a long list of difficulty for each coin then narrow it down.

Its not impossible to revive some coin that had a useful feature of some kind ?

I cpu mine fairquarks on a laptop, get plenty but Im not sure how popular it is.  Some coins are designed to be CPU only, in case you didnt realise this and if you join a pool your'll get some for sure.

Here is a list, Novacoin is sub zero as are a few ?  No idea

Would I be right to say mining with the wallet on CPU is a complete waste of time.
Even at diff 1 I couldnt find anything so I'll just shut it down Sad

Just putting in the early word that there will be a very cool Youtube tipping contest coming up at the beginning of the weekend (We are the only coin that can do this right now by the way). I'll make a separate thread with the details. A lot of Coinye will be thrown around to everyone and the end goal will be much-needed publicity by media outlets.

How would I sign up to make youtube tips work ?   If you are serious and its easy to do like on reddit then it'll be a massive plus

a quick google, looks like it:

Original thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=452987.20
Step 1: Add Coinye Bot to your circles: https://plus.google.com/u/0/110820315203668613125/about
Step 2: Sync your Google Account for a unique account and wallet: http://coye.crayeo.com/register.php
Step 3: Leave a comment on this video and I'll tip you 10,000 coye as a proof of concept! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gByLhKOt7c "A How to Coinye" vid we are essentially using for testing grounds)
Step 4: Deposit Coinye to address if you are comfortable enough with it!
Step 5: Tip the 10K I gave you or any deposits you make by simply calling "+Coinye Bot amt coye" in any comment.
The wallet "dashboard" site is kind of crude at the moment but it is FUNCTIONAL. You can literally tip anyone on Youtube with Coinye. We need graphic designers for the website so it doesn't look so janky, but you have nothing to risk since I'll be tipping you 10K for a comment left on the video linked above.
Cheers!

I'll give it a test and spread the word on other forums

N adaptive is very hard to mine so this coin is different to most but people may not like just how niggly this method is to make work.
I think the reference to eating doge is stupid and possibly insulting, nothing is added by having that right at the top of the first post

Interesting idea, it would be better to setup a miner on a reservation then just give currency.  Teach a man to fish and all that.
The whole crypto thing is still an unfolding mystery so managing to spread that word at all would be a real big thing to do also smart because possibly you are establishing a valid user base for your currency much like bigger crypto coins are used internationally to transcend borders and cultures to aid comparative advantage
