Because there will always be a number of people mining it... if everyone stopped right now, the difficult would go sharply down and then there would be high incentive to mine again.

They'll always get mining fees also I guess

It means if you had no separate balance at multipool and you mined straight to vircurex, they'd never credit you.  However you are fine to send from Mp to them, its not direct mining.
I think only p2p does this

You could ask btcguild to set their fees to near 0%   since he puts up fees when its too popular, now might be a good time to do the opposite.

Or any pool could offer to do that, might help some

11859  Economy / Services / Re: John (John K.)'s escrow service (previously known as johnthedong) on: January 10, 2014, 01:19:36 AM
I love how everyone is optimistic, That's the way to go, What if John K died? Then what?
I dont know the guy but if he is human then he can get ill like anyone.  If he were deceased then normally the estate would handle his affairs and clear this up.   Not wishing any ill on anyone but regardless of the outcome of this now, if none of that were possible or outlined originally then it was an escrow setup badly.
The argument might be bitcoin is anonymous, it should have been set automatically to resolve like localbitcoin does

doge needs a muzzle on it, Ive resorted to tipping on reditt with it.  Not sure what else its for.   Anyone want to swap my 18k moon for something

I was thinking the prices or rates should be quoted in satoshi not as decimal fractions.   Since many coins officially listed as zero including doge, less space is needed without the zeros and it'd compare better
