So this site got revitalized? Figured Betcoin kinda secured a monopoly on BTC poker. Maybe nitrogen could compete but no one plays the guarentees, just novice players jamming pre flop in the freerolls  Cry

It's really a shame, blockchain tech is the best thing the online poker industry could ever hope for yet rooms still lack big volume!!

On the other hand I think that the BTC sports betting industry is booming!

Yeah, I think so too.  But the thing is with online poker, the traffic is going down on all sites across the board.  It's not just BTC poker.  The poker boom is gone and I don't think it will come back anytime soon.  I think most people thought of it as something like a fad and jumped on the Chris Moneymaker bandwagon trying to follow his footsteps.

Chelsea make Cavani bid
OMG Jose what you do Smiley He will spend for transfers the all money of MU boss Cheesy

Chelsea have made a €50 million (£41.7m) bid for Edinson Cavani. PSG value the striker at €80m (£66.7m).

Source: Le 10 Sport

Oh i forget, Chelsi not MU, sorry guys  Grin

its like jose mourinho would drain money manchester united with expensive players spending
Pogba one of the coveted at a very high price tag
now want to target Cavani and is certainly a high price
whereas stock striker passable manchester united with her in zlatan ibrahimovic

Mourinho will take the blame, sure.  But it's really Woodward's fault.  The final decision on who to sign is his and it will also go through the board at Old Trafford.  And we know the board listens to Woodward more than Mourinho.  Mourinho is a bit of an outsider at this point and still has to prove himself worthy to stay at Man United.

Inter are set to make a surprise move for out-of-favour Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli. The Italian worked with Roberto Mancini during their time at Manchester City.

I hope this time around he listens to Mancini.  He's the only manager who really tried to help him and cared for him because Mancini believed Balotelli has the talent to become one of the greats.  There was a time his talent was showing at Man City but his attitude was really bad.
11844  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Poker Challenge: Getting Out of the Micros on: July 21, 2016, 08:37:39 AM
If you want to move up in poker, you have to find a format that interests you, and then grind the shit out of it while studying a ton so that you can grow your skill while you grow your bankroll.

You also have to grind smart, not necessarily hard.  Right now, you're choosing to play in the toughest player pool in the world.  Why?  There's no need, especially in the micros where the goal is just to grind out hands and bank money.

Here's my graph from playing a little on Betcoin last week:

Obv in mB, not $.  Plus another ~300mB in rakeback.  Just for having a table or two up waiting for players while I'm grinding MTTs on other sites.  If you actually commit some real time to it, you can just steady print.

For your hands, they were both played sub-optimally.  The rivered flush is an easy call.  He has so many hands in his range that you crush.  Raising is as bad as folding, though, as he's easily folding every hand that doesn't beat you.  The A9 bluff is bad also, you just aren't representing anything.  4x c/r at some point, 5x and 6x utilize some pot control on the turn or river and don't continue to barrel.  Overbetting is bad because you aren't getting anything to fold that would have called smaller bets.  So if you think bluffing is the best option (it isn't), a 400 chips bet is going to accomplish the same thing as a 1k chip bet.

If you are serious about HU sngs, you should sub to husng.com, it's a very strong resource for that format.

Thanks for the advice.  And nice graph!  That certainly give me some motivation.  I've been really lazy, the motivation I had playing this game is gone.  Maybe that's because I can't consistently win anymore.  Even in the micros.  Meh.

Anyway let me ask you this, do you think this is a call on the river?  It really feels like a call as his line doesn't make sense unless this is a bluff.

11845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Speculation on: July 21, 2016, 05:19:35 AM
The price of the Ethereum is rising at the moment. So the hard fork is quite successful and the funds will be returned.

That remains to be seen.  But if you mean that in a way that there were no technical problems, then yes.  It's good.  But in the longer term it's still arguable what the impact of something like this on the platform.  I guess it will take another serious highly rated project to exploit by the attacker.  Let's see what the founders do then.
11846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So where's the ethereum exodus? on: July 21, 2016, 03:44:43 AM
All the people, "time to sell your GPU's, the HF is a gameover man! Game over!"

So what happened guize?

It looks like everything is fine for now as everything is business as usual, it looks like.  So what now?  As far as Ethereum's future is concerned who knows.  Maybe start ups pick it up and test and build stuff on the network despite the fork debate or maybe not.  Only time will tell.  There was also a Peter Todd interview where he says Ethereum will not scale and that apps built in the platform will have performance issues as number of transactions go up.
11847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 21, 2016, 02:54:37 AM
I think you need better odds for Arsenal to finish in the top 4.  With Pochettino, Conte, Klopp and even Ranieri going after the top 4 and Arsenal's lack of better striking options over Giruod, they would have a really hard time getting in there this season.  I'm not even mentioning Pep and Mourinho yet and it's already a hard proposal for Arsenal.

Arsenal finished last season in 2nd place despite Tottenham was leading all the time until last week. I don't remember any season Arsenal didn't finish in Top-4, basically they are dominating the league even though they couldn't be champion. I remember 10 times or more they qualified to Champions League in a row and you can't go CL if you are not in Top-4.

So you think Arsenal will breeze through the season and get to top 4 easily making those odds justifiable?  The sportsbooks are exploiting us.  At least look for a better line.  Last year sure, easy top 4 with a weakened Man United and an under performing Chelsea.  This year?  I doubt Arsenal will find it easy.
11848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH hardfork incoming. on: July 21, 2016, 02:35:06 AM
So what are the updates on the fork and how is the Ethereum community coping?  Judging from the price it looks like it's business as usual for now.  I personally am still worried for the platform.  The attacker is still out there looking for his next victim.
11849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 21, 2016, 01:48:56 AM
Well I have decided to back my team Manchester City to win the Premier League @ $3.50 and I put 1.5k on them. I also like Arsenal @ $7.00 but I put them to finish in the top for @ $1.50 and put $500 on it. These odds are from my countries sports book which I'm happy with. So for a 2k outlay I'll get back 6k if they come in for me.

Borussia Dortmund have agreed a €23 million deal with Bayern Munich to re-sign Mario Gotze, who will see his wages slashed from €12m to €8m a season

I wonder how the BVB fans will take this.  He was one of the go to guys in Klopp's BVB and he left searching for greener pastures.  Now he's just some dispensable player from Bayern who's returning because Bayern has no need for him anymore.  I would really understand the fans if they won't be open to welcoming him back.

This forum is rich with info.  You just have to know how to use it right and be able to filter all the information you gathered.  There are a lot of shills and FUD in here so be careful.  But as you hang out here more and more, you'll be able to know intuitively who's a shill and who's FUD and everyone in between.  This forum is really one of a kind and it's one of the most engaging ones that I have been a member of.  Lot's of drama.
11852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are some people making $11k on steem? on: July 19, 2016, 10:22:17 PM
Just out of curiosity, where is steemit userbase coming from since their original thread has only 31 pages, twitter has only 1000 followers and facebook has less than 1000 followers?

 Huh

things aren't adding up for me here. More I dive in, more complicated it gets.

The people falling for the Steem trap aren't crypto people. They are normal people who hear from word of mouth that "This girl just got paid $11,000 for having tits on this site called Steemit!" Then they say wow! and they make a few posts. Then they realize they don't have tits and, as such, don't get any money. However, every now and then one of them does have tits, and they tell their friends about their success.

At this point Steem is basically the titcoin meme that Pornhub made a video about. I'd be absolutely embarrassed if I were an investor of this fraud.

So does that mean Steemit is breaking through the mainstream?  Some of you may frown upon it but by hook and by crook Steemit looks to achieve what other altcoins have failed in.  Maybe they're finally on to something here.
11853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on FOX 20: Holm vs. Shevchenko Prediction and Info Thread on: July 19, 2016, 03:39:13 PM
That looks good.  You just gave me an idea.  What do you think of parlaying Holm and Barboza @ 1.93?  Those are two solid favorites in this card.

Holm, in my opinion, will be more motivated than ever coming in this fight especially after that bad beat vs Tate.  Shevchenko has nothing on Holm except for when she goes for the clinch.  But we saw what happened when Rousey tried that strategy.

Barboza is looking good, still progressing fight after fight and going for that title challenge.  He has a future ahead of him.  Melendez, one of my favorite fighters, what can I say?  It's so sad to see him fighting to make himself still relevant in the sport.  Coming out with two back to back losses and one year suspension plus a sticter USADA, I just can't see him win vs Barboza.  The odds are stacked against him.
11854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 19, 2016, 03:17:27 PM
It was an extremely entertaining race to watch. I thought Marquez is out of the race when he got out of the track but what a brilliant driver he is keeping the MOTO on track and not crashing. Then I see he choose the slick tyres when almost no other driver dared to do so . This gamble paid off in the end and he has crashed the championship so far unfortunately, now there is very little hope for other drivers to win it. Still there are almost other 9 or 10 races. Anyway this is much better than F1 to watch, true emotions here.

if we compare this season MotoGP and Formula 1 MotoGP is far better then F1 no doubt about it
in moto every factor can determine the winner and and F1 for me is more tactics then trill of race

So meaning in MotoGP luck is more of a factor than in F1?  If it is, then I think betting on MotoGP races would be more high variance which always good if you're a masochist gambler.
11855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: July 19, 2016, 03:10:57 PM
It's not really that you don't rate him.  I mean come one let's be fair.  He's good but not 100M British Pounds good.  Anything at 100M and over is reserved for the likes of Ronaldo and Messi.  Pogba isn't in that level.
11856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 19, 2016, 03:08:19 PM
I watched a pre season friendly of Wigan vs Liverpool.  It ended 0 - 2 for Liverpool.  They looked good with the ball but the defense needs a little work in tracking the ball.  Their finishing needs work too, that game could have ended 0 - 4 or 0 - 5.  Sadio Mane was ok, nothing negative to say but then nothing really positive either.  I also would like to see Danny Ings improve and start more games this season.

I saw the game, you can't read too much into any teams pre season matches especially after an international tournament. Lots of players are still on holiday Emre Can, Henderson, Milner, Origi, Sturridge etc.

True true...  And there was a second batch of younger players that Klopp played during the second half.  Loved the goal by the 16 year old by the way.  He's not bad that guy.  I hope he develops more.

Leicester want £45m for Mahrez
Leicester City have slapped a £45 million pricetag on winger Riyad Mahrez, though they are confident he will remain at the King Power Stadium this summer.

Source: Daily Telegraph

Mahrez for £45m and Bellerin for £42.5m Cheesy and Higuain for 90+  Grin

£45 for mahrez is a cheap amount, he was the best young player in the last season and he still has alot of rooms for improvement. The number is incredibly cheap as I thought leicester might want atleast £ 60 millions for him

if Joe Allen will not extending his contract to Liverpool this season then Man Utd might be will considering to bring him to Old Trafford

I wonder why would manchester united be interested with joe allen, he is far from what they called him as the pirlo from wales . Schweinsteiger and carrick is much better than him and it would be an extra waste of money to bring him into old trafford

That made me laugh so hard.  It's really funny when the media hype up players and then they make these crazy and hilarious comparisons.  It's just like when they said Wilshere is the English Iniesta.  Hahaha.  Cheesy  It's entertaining though.

Stoke enter Van Persie race
Stoke City have become the latest club to join the race to sign Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie, with West Ham and Middlesbrough also keen.

Source: Daily Mail

I would love to see this happen.  I know RVP is on ice as of late but him playing under Mark Hughes could be good for his game.

There are also talks that Atletico's president saying Diego Costa is close to being back to ATM.  Any of you know if this is true?  Who'll replace him at Chelsea?

I'm thinking of adding LBRY, Synereo and Steemit on the list soon.  I'm still watching how much daily trading volume they average in the market.  If it's decent enough, I'll add them.

Edit:

I would like to add that BTS (Bitshares) and FCT (Factom) still look good to buy in my opinion.  They seemed to hit their lows and are looking to start trending up now.
