OK, after a complet download from the official torrent ... no crash of this version 0.9.3 on my WinXP SP3 + all KBs updates. Strange that it have been located on the blockchain files  So, the answer is : when bitcoin core crash without warning ... re-download the whole blockchain folder.  ps : i don't have changed anything in this computer ... and it's run only for network stuff (no private use). |

yes ... but, it's the final deal. pool and miner must have a strong source for the block verification. so, if you have strong miner, you always have strong complete source of blockchain at the end. |

mais là, c'est bien quand même.
L'intérêt, dans ces phases-là, c'est qu'on voit que les bitcoins reviennent et qu'on peut en évaluer le nombre liquide.

use a compress tool ... i have win 48% of compression on Blockchain with 7z.
separate index folder, chainstate folder and blocks folder ... because people can not use only blocks folder.
they must have, too ... the index folder and chainstate folder.
when, you create the backup ... you can split in 10 or 30 block in 1 file.
when you add new blocks, i MUST create a fresh backup of chainstate folder and index folder.
blk and rev don't work without chainstate and index folder.
