11841  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay marriage will destabilise family life on: April 19, 2016, 04:46:55 PM
i think gay marriages will be banned in the world.
and this is also illigal in many religions especially in Islam.
and yes it destroy the family lines.

I think i disagree with you, in my point of view, gay marriage is just like fighting for women rights during the early 20th and late 19 century. They just want to have there own community without harm. we are just blinded with gay entertainers and we are generalizing too much.

And to sum it up, people discourage gay marriage because of mainly the bible because it was stated there that man is for woman and so on.

What happened to its saying about love and respect?

feel free to comment.

I agree with you. Permitting gay marriage is just showing that in your country adult people have more rights to do whatever they want. Nobody has the right to restrict those rights of other people if they not physically harm other people.

And yes, many, if not all, "religious" people "forget" about love and respect, although their religion tells them to not.
11842  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin Mining Documentary Aired in China on: April 19, 2016, 02:47:48 PM
One of the best bitcoin mining videos I have ever watched!!!

Hahahahaha.... This will really mislead many people who know nothing about bitcoins. I like that part with empty ASIC miner...

I don't think people are that stupid this will mislead them, but they will have fun watching it that's for sure. I will definitely recommend this video to my friends who know little about Bitcoin, it's interesting to see their reaction.
11843  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: April 19, 2016, 02:43:55 PM
For the people that already invested it does not really matter in my opinion, but for the people that are new and investing in the bitcoin it will matter for sure.
They are thinking if the price is low they will panic it needs a price otherwise they will never buy it.

The price doesn't matter only for people who are spending their coins right away after buying. For all others it does matter. If you already invested you do care about the price because you might lose your investment or gain a profit, right?
11844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most profitable type of gambling? on: April 19, 2016, 02:36:46 PM
Many people say in this thread that sports beting is somehow better than other types and can even be profitable, but I disagree. I think betting is betting, no matter what type it is. Even if you know who will win a game most likely many others know it too, so you must risk a big amount to have a chance to win a small amount.
11845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: April 19, 2016, 02:31:57 PM
Most of the people in bitcointalk are holding their bitcoins and waiting for increase the price. otherwise only 30% people are using their bitcoins in the investment.

That's not true.

The truth is most people are posting here they are holding but in reality they're not.

Why would they do it? Most people here think Bitcoin is underestimated now so why would they sell their coins? I think to sell now is silly if you don't have reasons for that of course. If you need real money right away then selling is not silly.
11846  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: April 18, 2016, 01:46:28 PM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh

25% of each of your paychecks is great if you can afford that much to save. My advice to you and to everyone else who is planning to invest in Bitcoin - invest all the money you can afford to invest without suffering from the lack of money. IMO Bitcoin is the best investment but I wouldn't recommend to invest in the future instead of living today.
11847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: April 18, 2016, 12:04:15 PM
There will be no limit on how much you can earn when it comes to gambling as long as you have the money to bet you have endless opportunity to earn.

haha, yeah. And don't forget that you have "endless opportunity" to lose also. I've heard people won millions with gambling but I've never met such a person. All people I know only lose with gambling.
11848  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: April 18, 2016, 11:58:22 AM
for me the bitcoin wallet is definitely a far better choice than just an ordinary bank account because of a wide variety of reasons, first of all it is really fast and i can send money whenever i want

also i can make a lot of money if i hold my bitcoins in my wallet and the price of bitcoin starts going up really fast,i think that it is a really great investment for everyone

I absolutely agree with you. Only one thing bothers me here is that Bitcoins are not accepted everywhere like way of payment, but in the future even though I think fiat will not disappear I will be using Bitcoin wallet much more than a bank account, I hope.
11849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: April 18, 2016, 09:32:18 AM
I was using only WU in the past for online transfers but after getting into bitcoins I was much sure that there is something better then WU which is going to be the future.

I agree, I have also used western union for such a long time and when i look at all the fees that i have payed is hurts me when i could have save so much money but when i used bitcoin i was relieve because its fees is much smaller even if you have big amount of money to send.

No doubt Bitcoin transactions are much cheeper and faster mostly, but unfortunately sometimes we still should use Western Unoin because in many places it's very hard to convert Bitocins in real money. This will change in the future when Bitcoin will become more adopted.
11850  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Japan hit by 7.3-magnitude earthquake on: April 18, 2016, 09:27:59 AM
The Japanese are used to these earthquakes. The number of deaths might be limited to a few dozen at the most. The building codes are strictly enforced, and as a result the damage to the property and humans might be very low. On the other hand, had this earthquake occurred in Pakistan or India, the death toll would have crossed 5-figures by now.

That's right. I think and I hope Japan will be safe mostly because of the high quality building they build. Too bad that other countries, poor countries suffer from the cataclysms of the Earth a lot.
11851  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Placing machines outside on cold winter? -20 on: April 18, 2016, 09:22:55 AM

i was thinking heating with miners is not healthy, as the electronics are releasing toxic materials into the air.

As long as the temperature of the PCB is less than 300 degree, there is no problem about toxic materials.

Actually it's how much time you spend in the room with the miners what's matters. Toxic materials go into the air always when heat is applied but not as much as to poison you right away. Don't spend a lot of time where the miners operate and you shouldn't sleep there that's for sure.
11852  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: April 18, 2016, 09:17:32 AM
Since I do not have any job, so I am already full time on bitcoin & it is not a bad option as I am earning enough for my pocket money . Cheesy

Grats! I assume you don't have a family to care about and you don't have to pay bills right? I think you are a student and that's good that you have the opporunity to earn some extra pocket money.
11853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: April 18, 2016, 09:12:20 AM
If you gamble much you sure have won some money in your life gambling but I am sure that you have lost many times as well. Most people who gamble have lost more money then that they made.

I think this is always true. I myself was winning a lot and was also losing a lot and of course my overall profit is negative. What's good though is that I haven't lost a lot of money, not more than $30 in more than two years of gambling ... and it was fun. )
11854  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: April 18, 2016, 09:08:26 AM
Bitcoin's future has never been as bright as it is now. The halving is coming soon, and with it a huge increase in price.Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.

Although I do think that the price will rise after halving I don't think the increase will be huge. The process of increasing has started already several months ago IMO and the price of 1 BTC will be slightly over $500 in Summer 2016 but not much more.
11855  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: April 17, 2016, 03:10:57 PM
I'll sell the rest I have and quit.

At first it looks like a joke but actually I think many would do the same ... to regret the decision all life afterwards. Just imagine you bought Bitcoins for $400 each, sell them for $1 each, to see several weeks later it rises to $1000 each.
11856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Martingale Profitable ??? on: April 17, 2016, 08:14:17 AM
Sometimes I think theoretically it is profitable. Take a dice game. How many times in a row you might have reds with 50% winning chance? At first I thought not more than 7 times. Played with that strategy, was winning some, but lost in the end having 12 reds. Then I thought well it couldn't be more than 12 reds. Played with that strategy, was winning some, but lost in the end having 16 reds. ... After that I stopped. )
What makes you think there is a maximum to the reds you can get? The next roll doesn't depend on the previous roll. So if you have had 16 reds, chances of the next one being red are exactly the same as after having 16 greens.

The more bets you place, the longer your win/loss-streaks will be.
Assuming 50% chance and 2 bets, chances are one is red, one is green.
With 2^10 bets (1000 bets) chances are pretty big you hit 10 red or 10 green in a row.
Place 1 million (2^20) bets, and 20 in a row becomes very likely.

Yes, I know and exactly that's why I thought if I make less then 1000 bets to get more than 12 reds in a row is very unlikely. So what I did was I devided all my balance by 2 13 times thus estimating what my base bet should be. ... But I had 16 reds in a row and lost all.
11857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the global currency of Earth on: April 17, 2016, 08:02:51 AM
But this super currency still illegal in different countries also a lot of bitcoin haters still wating for bitcoins death. It will not become global currency till it's illegal.

Although Bitcoin is not considered a legal currency in most countries it is not strictly illegal there, you can use it without being prosecuted by government. But in some countries it is really illegal unfortunately. Those countries include: Bolivia, Bangladesh,  Ecuador, Kyrgyzstan and some others.

11859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are not newbies indeed... on: April 16, 2016, 12:20:31 PM
So what are you trying to say here? The people that are marked as 'newbies' are not newbies? If so, then you're wrong. Additionally, there are a lot of users that are 'senior' and/or 'hero' members which I would mark as newbies. Just knowing what Bitcoin is and having a surface understanding of how it works does not make you a 'non-newbie'.

I agree. Many of us here, including me, know little about Bitcoin even if we are here long enough to be called "seniors" and such. That's what's good about this forum, you can learn a lot here and become a real expert with time. )
11860  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are all women leaders so fucking terrible... on: April 16, 2016, 09:52:21 AM
I don't get ..

Germany,
Ontario,
Alberta..

all sooo fail it pains me.

What about male leaders? Are they any better? I don't think so. All the politicians are pretty much the same. We shouldn't expect anything special from the female ones.
