11841  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 13, 2016, 06:47:32 AM
You can save money by creating different portfolios of investments. We have to divide in ratio proportions how much we'd want to save and in what kind of investment scheme. The schemes could vary from Fixed/Recurring deposits with banks, trading in stock markets, mutual funds, Public provident funds and various other methods.
In savings you will not think of investment first, let us say you only receive a little amount of salary, the question is are you still gonna save? The answer is absolutely yes, you need to save as that is compulsory and that would take care of your future in case there are emergencies that would require you to spend money.
11842  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: August 13, 2016, 06:39:29 AM
For me bitcoin is already an internation currency since the day the pizza were traded and bitcoin is being used for several transactions, between costumers and sellers. I just hope soon the merchants adopt bitcoin as an option of payment.

It is true that bitcoin is actually acting like an international currency but it wasn't been recognized by the government to make it official.  It is used by people every where in the world.  With this I think government is now studying bitcoin and its effect to ea country if they  recognized it as currency.
The government will never recognize bitcoin as it is anonymous, the government wants to watch us transact online to prevent crime and the laundering of money, actually there are other altcoins who could help the KYC and they are just a tool to bridge the faster transaction using the KYC.
11843  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: August 13, 2016, 06:34:26 AM
I used purse.io for the second time. Bought some headphones 14% off!
Awesome if you ask. Then I placed a buy order to refill my hot wallet. I found myself buying the same amount of BTC with less dollars.
great
I heard also that company and we can link our order in amazon to them, to be honest I am interested to buy products in amazon as some of them was still not in our country but my real problem is the shipping fee especially when you buy electronic units you need to pay a higher taxes.
11844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: August 13, 2016, 05:16:00 AM
Gambling is surely not for kids but there must be many kids who must be gambling for sure, as kids gets attracted very easily to something which is bad like smoking, drinking and may be gambling too.
It is depend on their parents if they let their child to do so.
Children attitude will always be depend on their parents on how they teach or supervise their children every day.
For me, it is depend always on a parent if they really let their child to just browse on the internet without knowing what site they're browsing. So don't let your children on themselves in front on your computer, tablet or cp. always be there beside them so they do not gamble at the early age.
As a responsible parents we should never teach our kids to gamble, we have to make sure that we were able to monitor our kids and ensure that they are doing the right thing according to their age, there are things that should not be learn by the kids as it would destroy them like gambling.
11845  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: August 13, 2016, 05:11:56 AM
It depends how the condition of the economy or the need to be desired by everyone. If all of the given system bitcoin needed or desired, then at least the presentation in 2020 are 40% and the maximum is 90%. So it depends how the conditions in time to come.
That is so unrealistic in my opinion, we are not that strong to invade the world yet and since we are just an alternative currency for fiat we will never rich that big unless there is a change of government in the future that would order people to use bitcoins instead of fiat.
11846  Other / Off-topic / Re: What % of your Assets is Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2016, 05:09:50 AM
my bitocin hold is under 10% is my asset
because every profit trading bitcoin altcoin iam always is saving fiat money in my rec bank
i have in bitcoins something like 10 per cent either, in my opinion i will be putting only more money into it in the future because it allows me to benefit
It's really fun that we can earn bitcoins online and it will add up to our total assets, for me, I have a big amount of money in my bank account and my earning in bitcoin is not really big so I am planning to convert my bitcoins into fiat and maybe it would increase the percentage of my holding in bitcoins.
11847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: August 13, 2016, 05:05:05 AM
Canada and The US. So yup, they are!  Cool
I think no problem with that country as you lived in  developed countries, the problem only is when you are living in a less developed countries where there are only few development of the establishment and your chance of spending your bitcoins is very low, lucky are those who live in countries where users are everywhere because they can transact and sell stuffs online easily.
11848  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the next halving really matter that much? on: August 13, 2016, 04:18:56 AM
i think halving will really matter because it helps the price to go up over time

After 3 to 5 more halving, the block reward will be lower than the transactions fees and more bitcoin will have already been mined, so the halving will have less effect.

In the next few decades, most of the bitcoin will be mined, the adoption and usage by the people will determine the price.
And in that time the demand will increase so the price will eventually increase also. Every halving delivers a good news for the investors and the miners as the price will also increase at the same time, this is is the most anticipated year as we have not seen any increase of price brought by halving.
11849  Economy / Economics / Re: Why better tech can't kill Bitcoin on: August 13, 2016, 04:02:22 AM
So bitcoins to you are a fad  Huh
Highly unlikely as those other things mentioned were valuable to the "collectors" but bitcoin is of value to everybody as everybody I know "collects" money. It is the exact same value to everybody at that given time of the exchange.

First, you have to understand how an exchange works.
An exchange doesn't pay you for your BTC, it simply matches the buyers with the sellers, just like eBay matches BTCeanie BTCabies buyers and sellers.

So yeah, BTC is only valuable to collectors. No different from Sports Cards, Beanies, or Litecoins, or Feathercoins, or BBQ coins, which all claim to be money.

Edit: Sorry, misread "It is the exact same value to everybody at that given time of the exchange." as "on an exchange."
What do you mean by "It is the exact same value to everybody at that given time of the exchange"?

If I sell you 1 BTC for a dollar, that would magically make all BTC worth $1? Or?
Not on an exchange. I should of said at that given time or the transaction in a "trade". My mistake in that wording.
But yes 1btc for a dollar - AT THAT GIVEN MOMENT! What else would dictate what it's value is? It is uniform for everybody across the board no matter what  Roll Eyes That is the function of the market price.

Re. "not on an exchange" -- see my edit.
Re. "But yes 1btc for a dollar - AT THAT GIVEN MOMENT!" -- how is this any different from selling Sports Cards or BTCeanie BTCabies or the Brooklyn Bridge? The price is always the price, "AT THAT GIVEN MOMENT," between the parties involved in a given transaction.
Huh
Anything can be collectable but bitcoin also has utility (actually has better utility than gold).  It has proven to be a "hedge" against financial dilemmas. I personally don't plan on stocking up on beanie babies during the next financial crisis.

This is too much. Bitcoin has never proven to be a safe haven to financial dilemma. Bitcoin is risky. Bitcoin is speculative. Bitcoin will decrease in value during economic uncertainty as all the speculators flee to real safety.
Bitcoin has a lot money around it, the big miners are forcing and making some pression at bitcoin price, who makes bitcoin its the community, and all the wishes around bitcoin is to grow, soo no other crypto can really kill the king. Even eth with some potencial to moove up cant go without the community support, as i saw it has limitations and people know its a great coin on the pump and dump all days.

It depends on the further development of the bitcoin. If there is no good development and it cannot adapt, it will be replaced.
Bitcoin is already a good currency and it can stand alone even without the help of any altcoins and other platform. The people are trusting it and we can see that base on the increasing number of bitcoin adopters. So I would say that it will not be replace since we are growing stronger.
11850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: August 13, 2016, 03:28:03 AM
greed and hope are the reason for distruction in case of gambling. first we hope that we can win then we do win it then we gets greedy an wins more then we loose.then again we hope we can recover our losse and we became greedy again and we losse all

you can't say this generally about everyone who is gambling. i agree that there are some who are playing like what you said but that is not everybody and not even the majority.

many are only gambling for the fun of the games and only because they enjoy the game and also taking risks with their money.

also there are many who are professional gamblers like those poker players you see in Las Vegas Poker Tournaments that are making million dollar bets and earn a lot of money from gambling.

That is right. Each of gambler has its own reasons why he is coming back. This what the question of the OP and I guess we shall not answer it as if it applies to all. It should be answered as to individual reasons of coming back.
That's every body has their own reason why they keeps from coming back in gambling, for me, sometimes I go back and just trying my luck, but I am not expecting that I can really win that game, we never know, maybe I can win this time. Smiley
In my case, I go back because I really love to gamble, I like sports betting a lot and that is the only way that would make me happy in gambling. It is my time to relax and watch the game while I am betting online, if I won then I would just spend it because I don't want to save it as I am not really serious in gambling for money.
11851  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: August 13, 2016, 03:23:43 AM
buying bitcoin to plan for the expenses after retirement which is going to happen after 20 years is not a good idea at all.Nothing can be said that what will happen after the 20 long years and specially with bitcoin,i think other investment would be more good like in any business.

Also if we safe our bitcoins specially for our retirement, and after 20 years we saw suddenly bitcoin has been dead so we are also dead before retirement. So look at bitcoin is a crypto currency, and a mostly people are using it because of its price down and up, if after 20 years bitcoin price down, because in that time a lot of crypto currency would be come. So don't go in long term period, but now bitcoin is best so use it day to day.

you are right, bitcoin uncertain future, so we can not expect the pension fund of bitcoin.
better keep making gains every day, and you store most of the profits for the future in the form of fiat. so it is safe, if the future of something bad happening with bitcoin.
Of course that is right, you cannot expect it as your pension because we cannot ascertain the future and that is too bad if you rely your full investment with bitcoin. It is good to trust but do not put all your money in investing with bitcoin as it could collapse anytime like what happen in the past.
11852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: August 13, 2016, 03:18:09 AM
Yes, I not rich with gambling but i very happy with gambling. Actually i'm feel like rich by playing gambling. Because before know gambling i do not really rich when i know and play i feel like rich but not too much. However in this situation i'm not really depend on gambling, It is only intend entertain. once again just my oppinion

Well,  if you do not have the capacity to gamble to make money then you should stay your play with the intention to have fun or else you will still lose because to make money you need a decent bankroll to last longer.

Agree with this. If you have no other money and spend everything you have to gamble then it is a really bad decision. If you want to really earn big in gambling, you need to have big bankroll and must be contented of winning small and withdrawing.
Yeah! because successful gamblers does not rely on there wins in a short term, they are successful because they play in the long run and they have their method to win in gambling, and of course even if you are really good in gambling but without a decent bankroll you would not earn big.
11853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: August 13, 2016, 03:04:15 AM

There's actually nothing wrong with loving money because that's what motivates us to work hard and reach for our dreams. The only wrong thing is if the way you get the money is not effective to you like getting your money in gambling which is very difficult and could result to gambling addiction.

Well it is OK to have money and to work for money but to love money more than GOD or yourself then that would be a SIN cause to love money is to love material things and these cause human flesh to Sin against GOD! if you are reading the bible you will know what I am trying to say and if not then I think I was the only one thinking that gambling is wrong and loving money is evil.
It is not necessary to combine God and money. This is the concept of incompatible. The fact that God is in our soul, and the money is needed for the body content. Money to earn the right way is better than doing something bad for the money. Here it is necessary to conclude that we do not live for the sake of money, and are working to get the money to live.
That is for a very simple reason that we cannot take our money when we pass away, money will only be good when we are still alive and we have the opportunity to enjoy it so we need to make use of it properly and obviously do not use it for bad activities that would ruin our life and the life of others.
11854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 13, 2016, 02:58:49 AM
i am not an advocate for any particular coin, but dash has actually been holding its value on and off for some time, you may want to take a look

Dash has been under constant development. Another coin worth some attention is the Ethereum or ETH.
ETH had already picked, I think the best altcoins to focus now is the ETC as it has a great volume of bitcoins and could give us a good income in the future. The price is really great as of the moment as it drops for at least 10% and when that time happens, it is always a good time to buy.
11855  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 13, 2016, 02:46:52 AM
bitcoin wallet is the best, i try to use banks as less as possible
It not really how you say. Your bitcoins can be stolled easily that you bank money.Of course bank can be robbed but you bitcoin wallet can be much more easier to hack by an expert hacker. Everybody keeps his money where he wants. Bitcoins and banks have both advantages and disadvantages
Banks can be robbed by your money is insured so you do not worry anymore of your deposits, however in bitcoin when you put your money in exchange sites, there is a big possibility that your account will be hacked or the exchange sites itself and there is no guarantee that you can still recover your money.
11856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: August 13, 2016, 02:28:21 AM
LeBron James will re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers on a three-year, $100 million maximum contract, league sources said, and the three-time NBA champion also pressured the Cavs to finalize a deal to keep free agent J.R. Smith.

That's more than $33 million a year, fellas. Does that make him the highest paid player now? If so, he richly deserves it and more.

Also LeBron James is pressuring the Cleveland Cavaliers front office to get J.R. paid and signed. Same thing like Thompson. J.R. Smith's agent is LeBron James. I mean, at this point you can't really argue with anyone about it since he just won the title for Cleveland, in like 52 years.

He can do whatever he likes and his demand should be given by the management as he is in the position now to do that. Lebron feels he is the best player in the world, and we have witness in the past that because of him blatt was fired, so he is a special guy for the cavaliers.
JR Smith situation can go one of two ways. He can either use the chip as motivation to carry on playing well, which basically just means putting effort into defense. Or he can let the chip get to his head and go back to his chemistry killing days. I've known and seen headcases like JR all the time, and I see the latter happening.
I believe JR will stay in the cleveland cavaliers because lebron will get what he wants, he is the superstar of the team and he make history with his team now, so I think the pressure is on the cavaliers management how to handle the demand of lebron james.
11857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Increase Incoming. on: August 13, 2016, 02:18:46 AM
I was expecting prices to fall more but thankfully they are still above $500 which is a good sign
We are on our way now to going to $600 dollars and that is a good sign that the price will eventually increase in the coming days. You should have bought when the price fall back hard in order for you to make money when the price will begin to pump.
11858  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 12, 2016, 02:50:09 PM
I sure banks will start to accept bitcoin in next time (about 5 years again). From start there can be one bank maybe from USA, and then another and so on.  And bitcoin wallet will be in the bank through online web. once again just my oppinion

It's so wrong, if you know the basic structure the bank and bitcoin are different and I think the bank will want to accept bitcoin, but maybe they will accept bitcoin become their partnership but nothing for mixing bitcoin and banks.
They could integrate in their system for transfer of money to make it more faster and cheaper, however it also needs a third party which is a reputable company to bridge the transaction, banks concern are more on transparency and not anonymity because the government hate competition.
11859  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: August 12, 2016, 02:46:22 PM
Oh yes, i earn bitcoin so i can spend it on the things i like, i sometimes spend it on gambling and sometimes change it to fiat and buy myself good food and some games, it feels good to be able to spend something using the coin that you earned so hard
That's true man, but we also need to consider that spending all our money is not good all the time. We have to think of the future and since you are in the crypto world and it has given you the opportunity to earn good amount of money, you also need to save and to investment for the future.
11860  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2016, 02:37:40 PM
Some of kids, I am talking about teenagers now around 15 years old, some of them start to underworking in such young years. And classically it is some physical work as postman or alike. Sometimes that work disturbs to their study. But some teenager could underworking with bitcoins. I don't say to gamble. Commenting here is a good chance or posting commercial of some BTC sites on his or her Facebook page. Many teenagers are better with computers than people over than 30 40 years. So I'm telling that is gonna be good chance to earn for kids without spending too much time.
The problem is how would they comment if they do not really understand very well the nature of bitcoins and not only that, it is not only with the bitcoin discussion that he needs to comment because some campaign requires you to comment in the gambling forum, so how would he relate if he will not experience it?
