I don't think much of this is available right now.
And it would take so much hassle and paperwork to get such thing done.
Then you still have to deal with regulators, and they mostly are not that Bitcoin friendly.

Don't think much will happen as Bitcoin doesn't need Satoshi to develop itself. He dropped the code in the wild and left, and look where it stands now ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Here it's around +11 I hope to see some snow this year, but don't think it will happen ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

This forum is full of people who are repeating the same all day long, aren't you guys tired already? From the start of this thread till now, nothing has changed, and nothing will change, some guys are way too obsessed ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

What's your opinion about it? Will a newer coin take bitcoins place in a couple of years?
Might happen, might not happen. Everything related to technology gets replaced after some time. Will the same happen with Bitcoin? I don't know. The beauty of Bitcoin is that it is open-source, it can evolve into something that will change the world , so we might see Bitcoin stay for ever ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

People assume satoshi has a huge load of Bitcoins, but he wasn't the only one mining in the very early months of Bitcoin.
A lot coins have been moved since 2011 so he might actually have sold some. (2011 Bitcoin started to gain some value)
And still there are so many "sleeping" Bitcoins right now, that haven't been touched in year, the owner knows that it's better to keep them untouched.

CEX.IO was charging high fees when they had a share of 30% of the total network, and still are they.
They only have around 18% of the total network now, it will take them longer to find blocks which means the fees will be higher.

solo mine, show them all
Show what? How much money you're waisting when solo mining without finding blocks? What's the chance for some one to find a block as solo miner?

I used to use western union to send money to family on the other side of the globe, and now 75% wants me to send them BTC. Much cheaper and way easier and much less hassle ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

That's great news! I use mozilla for like two years now, and it's great to see them accept Bitcoin donations ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I will definitely make a Bitcoin donation. Hope other tech and non tech related companies will follow.

Even if the difficulty indeed does decrease, it will be for very short time. It would be a welcome change, though.
People will just fire up their miners and we end up with again a raising difficulty.

Mine is simple and the best. Buy low, wait, sell high. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) For extra I do day trading when there is panic making the price swing up and down. Don't force yourself to trade that much, take some distance from time to time.

Cryptocoinsnews makes their predictions after the price went up or down. If the price goes up, you'll see them saying "We might see an uptrend from here" And when the price goes down, you'll see them saying "We expect a downtrend from here" They adjust every time the price goes up or down, how can some one take them serious now ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Nothing can guarentee that your Bitcoins are safe, so don't trust anything.
Just make sure you don't download crappy software, and don't store the majority of your coins on the same machine that you use to browse / download stuff.

Surely some people will be spending BTC on Xmas presents?
It's funny because you think people buy stuff with BTC ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Nah I'm kidding. But in all seriousness, I've only bought 2 things with BTC and I've been involved since early 2011... hosting & one thing off Adafruit. I'd guess 90% of people do nothing w/ BTC but trade or hold as a speculative vehicle. It's difficult at this point to buy stuff with your Bitcoins beside domains, servers, hosting, etc. I'm sure people would spend their coins if there were plenty of stores in your city that accept Bitcoin as form of payment. It takes time till people switch their mindset, at this point Bitcoin by most people is seen as "investment" rather than form of payment.

Some people also like to bump threads where the last post dates from more than a year ago.
Moderators will most likely delete these posts as in 90% of the time it doesn't make sense to bump old threads.

If there will be a rally this year I think it will start just before christmas. The new year means a new start, so that might be a reason for a rally with people panic buying ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

A good start, would like to see this in much more places in let's say a few years from now. Would be nice to spend Bitcoin when you're on vacation anywhere around the world with Bitcoin. Let's see first if this project takes off, as it's quite ambitious. I really do hope so ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Yes this weekend Italian city derby. Milan Inter I will enjoy this match and hope but hard to happen to Inter win but not this time. They are in bad shape and only win will give then some hope.
Italian league is falling behind in a fast tempo, it's sad to see once so great teams don't even stand a chance against the current world top. Bayern Munchen, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea <-> Huge gap <-> Dortmund, PSG, etc...
