11861  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, don’t feel unwelcome. on: March 26, 2018, 01:27:50 PM
I just feel discourage sometimes when and honest post was deleted by a mod when they said because it wasn't relevant!
Just like what I posted above, it's either 1 or 2 so if it was a good / honest post but you posted it on the wrong topic that was placed in the wrong section so it's still a candidate to be deleted. It's hard to understand this if you are still new in the forum but rules are rules and there's a right place for each discussion and topics.

Thank you for the reply and explanation
Your welcome. I was once a newbie here in forum and learned a lot of things so sometimes there are chances that those post that I want to keep on reading are deleted but it's become clear to me why those are deleted. Don't be encouraged, this forum is a big help and is a great community.

11863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin ? on: March 26, 2018, 12:05:14 PM
I think at this point, biggest disadvantage is that it is still in ‘confusion zone’ to most of the Government. If this confusion can be minimized, other things will fit the slot easily.
This can be the biggest advantage of bitcoin now. The confusion and the lack of knowledge from the government about bitcoin. They are only thinking that bitcoin is only good for illegal things and they are forgetting that the usual fiat money is also used as the same.

transactions are very slow.
Right now? It isn't slow.
11864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse racing game on: March 26, 2018, 11:44:24 AM
In my place horse racing game is legal and gamblers put their bets on the horses of their choice, however there group of gamblers who place bets by themselves within the group they form and watch the game online or live on TV and distribute their bets to the winner after the game. This one is illegal. Do you have the same activity in your place and are you participating in horse racing gambling too?
I can't understand, I have to read it many times but still I can't get it. You said that it is legal to horse race and then there are people who are forming groups and when they win with their bets they are giving a portion to the winner(I assume the horse rider). How it can be illegal?
They have a regulated horse racing track a few miles from where I live so I do not see how it is illegal to bet on horses if you are with a group of people or if you are alone. That is a weird thing to try and make sense of but I think it depends on where you live because every country has their own set of rules put in place to try and curb or deter people from betting for some reason.
I still don't get it and how it can be illegal if there are groups that are doing it. It's weird thing because I can't even understand how does it becomes illegal. I might understand if that is sort of mafia or match fixing.

New or old members are treated the same way. And for those post that are deleted, take time to read the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ.

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]

2. No off-topic posts.

So if someone's post was deleted, it's either any of 1 or 2.
11866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does becoming a parent changes the gambler? on: March 26, 2018, 11:05:38 AM
I think having a child is a big step in life, and changes people a lot, because once they do they realize that they have responsibilities, a duty to be fulfilled to give that child the best they could give so he can grow up and be a good person, and gamblers of all people start losing their passion and their addiction for gambling because the money they go spending in the casino is best to be saved or given to that child.
Getting responsibility will definitely give you a big change but it doesn't mean that as a gambler you have to change. It only adds you something that you need to sustain as a parent, not all are the same. There are some that changes and there are some that doesn't.

11870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 22, 2018, 03:12:26 PM
Today the spurs won against the Wizards, the wining the streak that they are enjoying now is good so they can be in the playoffs.
They are on number 6 on Western Conference other than that, I have read somewhere that Manu Ginobili said "He's not coming back" this is sad for the team though.
11871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: March 22, 2018, 02:58:09 PM
maybe I will stop and will continue the habit gambled me
You will stop and you will continue later on? Even you are in dire situation you will still pursue your addiction? Sometimes we had to adjust even we are addicted but if the last money is for gas or transportation you should take note of that. It's hard to run out of gas if your in the middle of highway uncertain if there's a nearby gas station. (Oh, you gambled your money so there's no need for refueling.)
11872  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to put money in BITCOIN? on: March 22, 2018, 02:39:25 PM
Where should I start in putting my money in BITCOIN
You need to start researching on what are the local exchanges that you can use on your country. If there's none then you can look for one on https://bitcoin.org/en/exchanges and see what suits you best. And when you are ready then just follow the method or instructions by purchasing bitcoin through fiat or credit cards.
11873  Economy / Speculation / Re: $9,500 remains the major resistance for further gains. on: March 22, 2018, 01:25:25 PM
When correction is completed, price holds greater chances to keep moving up as strength from bears is weakening.
I'll wait until this correction ends and right now your prediction seems to happen as the price goes low again at $8,600.

Any quick gain to $13K from here would only cause another huge round of sell-off which could bring BTC to below $6K.
This is so true that's why I'm also in the same thinking as yours that I don't put think too much about the stability of it.
11874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner in bounty on: March 22, 2018, 01:08:16 PM
How do i know when the bounty campaign is scam??
When there is a news that will pop the next day talking about the bounty that you want to join is now a scam. The funds that gathered for the ICO period was ran by them.

Is the token i get is trash? A months ago since i get token and until now the token has no value..
That makes sense why that token doesn't have any value today.

11876  Economy / Speculation / Re: When? on: March 19, 2018, 02:01:51 PM
Everyone is positive that bitcoin is going to reach new milestone and ATH for this year. And majority here are holders so you are know it right. It's hard to know when will the price of bitcoin increase again so the best thing to do right now is to wait.
11877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we reached the bottom? on: March 19, 2018, 01:31:43 PM
I'm waiting for the peak and not for the bottom but I guess we already reached the bottom during $6,000 and that would be enough for those people who are waiting for the dip.
11878  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any signature campaign for newbie like me on: March 19, 2018, 12:46:56 PM
Just rank up to jr. member - member and you can join some signature campaign or even social media campaign's. Don't be upset, we all we've been through that stage that we want to join campaigns when we are lower ranks but time will come and you can enjoy it soon. It's not even the only way to earn if you are looking to profit from other things, you can practice day trading.
For daytrading you need some experience. Maybe read up here: https://chainoperator.com/making-a-living-day-trading-cryptocurrency/
Yes day trading needs experience before you can be one of it. That's hard for a beginner but if each day you are gaining profit, experience and loss you will learn from it and you can start you day trading career.

You can purchase  Copper Membership so that you can post images that you need for your ANN and for the bounty you will held here in forum. But if you don't want to create the thread you can hire someone on Services that can also work as your manager.
