I'm not sure if anyone aside from me considers it as a career, but I think the influencers who are getting paid to promote gambling sites can consider as a successful career. It's a career where they attract people to gamble on their website. If we only consider a betting career in gambling, some influencers may be gambling sometimes on those websites without thinking about the money because they will get paid in the end.

Mas sumikat na din kasi at mas madami na ang nagbabahagi sa social media ng kahalagahan ng may business at investment. Tumaas na ung awareness hindi lamang ng mga artista pati na din ang mga pangkaraniwang tao ukol dito. Mas naiintindihan na ng tao ang mga dapat at hindi dapat gawin pagdating sa pera nila. |

I think that you are focusing too much on the negative things here, you have achieved what a lot of us are aspiring to do with our bitcoins and I think that the result of your hodling bitcoins should be your focus, you can still get back in bitcoin anyways and that family business that you have helped improve if not upgrade is a good way for you to get a return in investments, maybe you can ask for some of the profits in that business to be invested in bitcoin again, I am sure that your father will not mind giving you some. @bayu7adi is right, you did not do bad the positive impact outweighs the sadness that you are feeling about losing your bitcoin to use for the stuff that you have mentioned, cheer up and remember that you will still be able to get back to bitcoin. That's true. OP should look on the brighter side and not on the negative side. Right now, he does not have any investment in Bitcoin left. But the positive thing here is the money he earned was used to buy their needs to fulfill their dreams. It's worth it, you can say that the money is not wasted. He can always start investing again anytime he wants or anytime he has enough money again. |

Yesterday I lost 11 BTC from my Bitcoin Core 25.0 wallet. The wallet wasn't open at the time. I don't know how it happened. Lots of emotions right now.
I am sorry for your loss, be it story or reality. But I want to ask you why you put 11 BTC in a careless wallet. 11BTC means huge amounts of money. Why don't you put a strong hardware wallet offline? People will learn from your loss but your loss will never be recovered. Your wife may not have done such a thing. You may have given your wallet seed phase somewhere. It's sad to think even with 11 BTC holdings, OP didn't even think of buying a cold wallet to protect his investment. It's a huge amount of money, and shouldn't take it easy when it comes to security. I agree with you, this won't happen if he has a hardware wallet. His wife may not cause a hack if he at least think of the security of his holdings. |

In my family, not many of the younger generation join in chatting or listen to the older generation discussing, because according to the family it's not polite, but if there really is a younger generation out there like that, I don't think it's easy for them to be influenced by the gambling habits of the older generation, because Usually every young generation has an ethic not to join them and listen to that. Pero kahit pa may ganung klase ng artista na walang alam pagdating sa investment o hindi inuuna ang mga business dahil wala sa isip nila na lilipas dn ang araw at malalaos sila, dapat maisip nila at marealize yun habang maaga pa. Sa panahon ngayon, marami ka na makukuhang advisor, tutulungan ka at magbibigay sayo ng mga ideya kung saan maganda ipasok ang pera at investment. May kataasan din kasi ang transaction fee sa ngayon kaya siguro walang interrsado na gumamit ng Bitcoin as payment method. Maluluge ka sa fees lalo na at maliit na transaction lang.
Kung local lang naman ang transaction, hindi mo iintindihin ang transaction fee. May local wallet tayong magagamit gaya ng coinsph o gamit ang binance wallet. Sa mga hindi nakakaalam, sa wallet niyo punta lang sa "funding", then click pay, may option dun ng binance user (email/phone, binanceID, Pay ID) na pagsesendan. Sa pagkakaalam ko, walang fee pag p2p pay ang ginamit na pagtransfer kahit pa BTC ang isesend mo. |

As a financial advisor and someone who takes security very seriously, I highly recommend telling NO ONE how much bitcoin you have or money or what your yearly salary is etc. It's no ones business except for if you have a spouse. Other than that, friends and family don't need to know. Never brag about your money either. It's important to stay private in this area.
I see all these stupid social media clips where people with a camera and mic walk up to people and just straight out ask "how much is you rent" or "how much money do you make per year".. your answer should always be.."thanks but that's information I don't share, have a good day".
I highly agree, our salary, the amount of Bitcoin we have invested, and also our own money are not intended for anyone to know. This kind of information is confidential, we should take it seriously. I know people who like to brag about their money to other people just to earn attention. This is an incorrect behavior and not everyone should do this for our own security. |

Tapos pasok na pasok pa sa bull run kaya, win-win yan para sa SkyMavis kaya siguro naghintay lang din sila ng panahon para maging ganito ulit tapos isang bagsakan ulit. At hindi na tayo magtataka kung pagdating ng bear market, bagsak ulit. Lumabas na yung update e, nakita niyo din ba? Parang wala naman naging masyadong effect, hype lang nung una dahil nagkaron ng update pagkatapos ng ilang taon, pero nung lumabas na yung update na AXP, wala naman siya naging effect lalo sa presyo ng mga axie. Negosasyon yan na madalas ginagawa sa legal na paraan. Magbibigay sila ng negosasyon para hindi na mapahaba ang usapan at mapataas pa ang sentensya ng kaso. Binigyan niya ng pagkakataon na ibalik ang perang hinack at bibigyan pa siya ng kapalit na pera kaysa direktang ipahuli ang hacker at wala siyang makukuhang pera, makukulong pa siya. |
