Is it possible to save a team from one week to another? I thought this feature had been added but I can't work out how to do it.

Also, one other improvement I would like to see is to synchronise the 'time remaining' clock when you enter a contest.

If you look at the list of contests, that clock shows 15 minutes more than the clock which is shown on the individual countdown.

So you might try entering a contest when the list of contests shows there are 20 minutes remaining but in reality if you take more than 5 minutes to choose your players then you won't be able to enter.

This has happened to me a few times when I first started playing the game.

At some point people are going to realise that there is money to be made from playing this game without having to spend anything (free roll tournaments) and when that happens I think we will see an influx of players.

I hope the developers are forward thinking enough to encourage this trend by offering a high number of free roll tournaments during the first few months of promoting the game. This will lead to more people becoming familiar with the game and increase player retention.

As I've mentioned before, I also think there will be a lot of value in offering a variety of other prizes too for the first few months to get people to sign up. The BTC we invested has increased by almost 300% and I for one would be very happy to see it being spent on Amazon vouchers or even reasonably priced electronic goods and gadgets, either as contest prizes or other viral competitions for signing up to the game.

I still think it's always going to be possible to win at least some XFC even when the game becomes more popular. You might not win contests but if one XFC becomes worth $1 then placing in the top 30% and winning a few hundred XFC will still be pretty worthwhile.

If we take the Premier League as an example, you've got top players like Lacazette and Gabriel Jesus who are available for free and will get regular points. Then you have people like Bakayoko, Marcos Alonso, Phil Jones, Kieran Trippier, Ben Davies, Benjamin Mendy (currently injured) and many others who are close to the top level but still play in good teams.

Go one level below that and you can find consistent performers who can score you points on weeks when they face opposition outside of the top 6 teams.

People like Alfie Mawson, Harry Maguire, Wood (Burnley), Matt Ritchie.

You can also look at individual teams who are currently in form and pick players from them e.g. Huddersfield, Newcastle, Watford etc. so there will always be opportunity if you are willing to do the research.

I've just entered a few contests after 2 weeks of not playing the game and am very pleasantly surprised by the new menu system.

It's now much easier to use and faster too. The ability to choose multiple players at the same time (e.g. all of your defence or all of your midfield) is a much needed change and will make it easier for new players to get into the game.

We all know that this project still needs a lot of things but credit should be given for listening to the community and continuing to update the game in a timely manner.

That's quite a big increase compared to yesterday if I'm not mistaken so hopefully another few days and we can reach the $10k mark.

Whenever the launch date is, I'm looking forward to an advertising tsunami to promote the game.

Things such as a coinmarketcap listing, cointelegraph advertising etc as well as some more well thought out marketing plans.

Also, as someone else suggested, it would be really nice to see an airdrop or some similar action to reward those investors who have kept up their support for this project through this difficult time since the ICO.

When potential new investors read through this thread I hope the strength of the community behind this coin will be a big factor in persuading them to join the game.

It's nice to see a developer take the time to reply in depth. I'm sure this will become harder as the project grows but it definitely gives the right impression to holders and potential new investors.

I think it's the same for a lot of people and I'm sure the developers will be aware of this so hopefully it will be easier to move btc in and out of our accounts once the new blockchain goes live.

If you don't NEED to sell then just wait for the next altcoin rally. It might be 3 to 6 months before that happens but as other posters have pointed out, you have some good coins in your portfolio.

Altcoins are massively risky but in these dark times just remember why you bought them in the first place and remember that market sentiment can change very quickly.

If you want to be a long term hodler and you don't intend to increase your current exposure then it might be a good idea to pay less attention to cryptos for the next few weeks/months!

You have to accept that you'll never consistently pick the top or the bottom of any market.

So buy or sell when the price is good enough for you to meet your overall goal.

For example, I like XVG coin and wanted to buy some more. I had some BTC which I purchased at $4500ish. Been watching it go up while XVG goes down and last night I decided to make my move and sold my BTC at around $5300 while XVG was at around 100 sats.

Woke up this morning to $5600 btc and XVG down to 90 sats. Am I pissed off that I missed out?

No. Because I made my decision based on the fact that I would be more unhappy if I woke up and BTC had dropped while XVG had risen. And I would do the same thing again. So if you really want to invest in something then you have to take action otherwise you could spend all your time just watching the price.

I should add that I'm a long-term hodler so I don't mind taking hits in the short-term. I'm looking to invest as much as possible over a variety of coins. Some are high risk with potentially huge rewards, others have solid tech which I think the market will appreciate within the next year or two.

Examples include: ARK, XVG, STRAT, XFC, XMR, XID, QRL

I'm not currently invested in all of those but if you invest a little each time there's a bloodbath then you can do well over the long-term as long as you can hold your nerve and your personal circumstances don't require you to cash out at a bad time.

I am holding onto my XVG even though it has dropped from my entry point of 150 sat to under 100 today. I even purchased some more last night at 100 sat.

Also holding onto my ARK and although it hasn't crashed as badly as some other altcoins, I'll be waiting to pick up some more if the price drops significantly.

I'm genuinely curious about which ICO's have done this before? If it's possible then it's something we should raise with the team behind this project.

I'm sure someone like JamesWeb would be happier if he was getting extra coins for the 7.5 btc he has invested.

JamesWeb I completely understand why you're freaking out. You invested a huge amount in this game and didn't expect your funds to be tied up for this long. Also, if you'd just kept your money in btc over the last few months you would have doubled it.

If you check my post history you'll see that I asked all of the same questions before I invested. Some people also accused me of FUD'ing because my account was brand new at the time.

I also had an issue with the company structure and the anonymity but I can understand that sometimes people prefer anonymity for tax reasons. Also, they didn't even have to make a company if they wanted to scam people. People would still invest in an ICO without a formal company behind it as long as they think there is a chance to make money.

For me personally this investment was a calculated risk. I don't like the offshore company and the secrecy regarding who the developers are. I also wish they had better PR and marketing skills.

However, the reason I invested is because they came to the table with a working product and asked users to test it before going to ICO stage. They have data for thousands of players and clubs. They have continued to improve the product according to player suggestions.

The mistake they made was using Counterparty to launch the coin and hopefully they will have learned those lessons when it comes to building their own blockchain.

But the foundation of this coin is a game which already works and is enjoyable to play. I'm a huge football fan and find myself getting excited about playing this game more than the official Barclays Fantasy Premier League game.

Also, the total supply of XFC is 1 billion. If this games becomes popular enough to have 100,000 players then that means there is, on average there will be 10k XFC available per player. And that's without considering the people who just want to hold it for investment.

So I'm optimistic about the future demand for XFC and as I have invested a lot less than you, I can afford to be a little more patient.

I'm still not sure what's going to happen with this coin but if you were going to scam someone then why would you bother building a product first?

We are in the early stages of a cryptomania where people can write a crap whitepaper and roadmap and use them to raise much more than the FootballCoin team raised for this ICO.

If I was going to scam investors then I wouldn't waste time building a fantasy football platform with data for thousands of players. I'd just write a whitepaper, talk about how my fantasy football platform is going to be the best thing ever and then disappear into the sunset.

I can't find any of the other airdrop threads either so maybe they've all been taken down.

I hope a new thread is started for ELITE though because if done properly it might have had some potential, especially considering the low supply.

I'm not giving up yet for the following reasons:

1) Although these guys have made a lot of mistakes, they still have a working game which is fun to play. So the foundation of the product is there.

2) We know they have contracted ANX international to build a new blockchain and ANX is a company with at least some positive track record.

I'm willing to wait a little longer for some progress because if things like the app, debit card etc do become a reality then it will be worth it. Also, every day I see total shitcoins with nothing going for them which are trading at silly prices so I try to balance out my frustration with the knowledge that if this coin does one day get listed on a big exchange then there will be a lot of interest.

I understand for people like JamesWeb this must be so much worse as you've invested so much into this so please don't think I'm trying to take any legitimacy away from your complaint.
