121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: July 22, 2017, 04:42:53 PM
When I was new in crypto trading I can say I was disappointed a countless times. Sometimes when at a lost and sometimes even if I gain since I was not able to maximize profit. Sometimes in positioning a buy too. Later on I come up with some realizations that for as long as I am gaining and I minimized some possible big losses I am just doing fine. There is no such thing as perfect. Emotion is the main enemy in trading.
same feeling, sometimes we may be disappointed when our coin that we are holding get dumps sometimes, but when time passes by we may be understand it well, trading , gambling, investing all of them needed a higher risk and a higher patience also, if we want to get a high profit we need to be patient until it reaches the high value.
If a coin dumps it is normal in trading prices were going up and down thats volatility and with that we earn or some other trader earns with us. Disappointments is normal because if we have no problems encountered and from the start we always eaening there is a point when we will lose and without k owing anything it will be hard to get back again.

I am disappointed because I held bitcoin for 2 months and I got angry then I sold them for 2100 dollars. One day after I sold my bitcoin, the price rised to 2800 dollars. This must be a joke.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: transferring money oversees question on: July 22, 2017, 04:21:34 PM
i guess my question is, is bitcoin really a good option here and what can be done to make this process easier and better ("in general" not just in this particular case)?

YES!

Of course owning bitcoin presents a few barriers to entry but those barriers have gotten significantly easier over time, it's quite easy to buy Bitcoin now. The trick is to open a wallet and become verified with the exchange first so that when you really need to exchange money you can do so quickly.

What currencies are you planning to transfer from? If it's USD or EUR or GBP you could get Wirex, which is a bitcoin debit card option.

Finally, everyone should own some Bitcoin...it's literally the only currency available today that doesn't lose it's value each day due to deflation of purchasing power.

You say yes but did you think how the recipient will cash that bitcoin amount out so that he can get money? Bitcoin is a flexible transfer asset between bitcoin users but real world money is not included there?
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Most Undervalued Coin of 2017! on: July 21, 2017, 08:34:23 PM
This discussion was created to compile the general consensus on which crypto are the most undervalued (Have massive potential to grow).
Please list your coin(s) below and why do you think so?

-Ethereum classic: After forked from ethereum, it didn't go up enough. Check ethereum's move.
-Monero: Have some problems with its competitor zcash.
-Litecoin: Cloned from bitcoin but bitcoin made x3 in short time. Lite coin can go much further.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [BANCOR] Price Speculation on: July 21, 2017, 08:23:55 PM
So the buyback wall of 120k eth has been used. The price of BNT is now not tied to eth anymore and is taking a fall.

The team already made an important announcement; the code is done, audited and ready for deployment.

Do you guys believe in the project? What will the price of BNT do in the next 6 months?

Is bancor the project where they made money laundering? If yes, you shouldn't engage with that hyped project. I don't think the team will take care of improvement. They can wait for 6 or 12 months for their funds to relase then go and begin to a new life. The investors trade its tokens between each other and keep losing.  Wink
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic effects of bitcoins on: July 21, 2017, 07:33:09 PM
Here are some I found:

-The tax collected by governments decreased a bit. (It's not taxable)
-More people had uncontrolled money which is a problem for crimes and money laundering.
-Economically unlawful attempts rised dramatically.
126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I do? on: July 21, 2017, 06:55:31 PM
It is always better not to leave your BTC on exchanges if you can.I know it's way more comfortable that way especially if you don't know any other way but there are a lot of situations where exchanges closed or there were some lost BTC due to some problems. That's something to keep in mind

Exchanges are not even wallets but crowds use exchanges like wallets. This is very dramatic in case of a hack attempt. Download electrum or bitcoin core to store them.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 21, 2017, 06:34:33 PM
I don't think so.
Btc is very expensive. Maybe it will be recongnized as an official currency but it won't replace Dollar.
If it will replace it will take time, I mean more than 15 years.
I disagree. Bitcoins are very much popular now and soon will be leading currency of the world. They do have the potential to replace dollar forever in the developed countries. At worst, they can coexist with dollar. Bitcoins have all the properties of currency and rather more striking than paper money.

Nobody can replace united states dollars I think. An intervention comes from united states to the economies that are trying to replace or change dollars resulting in a financial crysis.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: July 21, 2017, 04:35:17 PM
I don't get it - what are the people waiting for?  Why hasn't everyone switched to only Monero.

https://www.europol.europa.eu/newsroom/news/massive-blow-to-criminal-dark-web-activities-after-globally-coordinated-operation

Some people just want to blame monero for its privacy and they started to publish artcles as far as I see. That's all. Nothing is wrong with monero and of course it's not related to criminality.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2017, 04:24:37 PM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
I think the reason why they are still holding their bitcoins is they waiting for the increase value of bitcoin. We all know that bitcoins has the higher value than other crytocurrency and it is still increasing. But sometimes bitcoins is not always in a high value.

Well, most of the reason someone does the holding because it wants to increase the value of bitcoin or it could be said that like to get huge profits (investment). actually this can be said to be an investment, because it has been very clear that they make a purchase, and then doing something that can give you a price increase is much higher and better. But it is indeed an advantage can be obtained only with hard work and patience

I personally hold bitcoin just in order to be rich in near future around 2021-2024 years. No more reason for me, I don't even like bitcoin but I want to benefit from it.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 21, 2017, 04:16:34 PM
I do not think that we really need to be afraid of August 1. We have seen bitcoin's prices grow rapidly in the past few days from 1900 USD tall the way to 2800 USD. I predict the value of bitcoin to be much, much higher after August 1 than it is now.

Honestly, I'm a little bit excited, and a little bit afraid. Because somehow, if Bitcoin will have an update I know there will be a better place for it in the world.

I'm feeling the same emotions too. I just hope no split will happen in the blockchain that can undermine the whole bitcoin network.

We will probably see a dip just before August 1 in bitcoin's price before climbing rapidly after August 1. This will be a good time to invest again before the opportunity goes away for quite some time.

I hope no split too yet this costed me too much. I sold my bitcoin 2 days ago and now it became a sky rocketed one. It does not make sense to me. We should be ready for another dump after all.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: July 20, 2017, 11:18:17 PM
It might not be possible for all of us to become rich and famous but to some extent we need to have more number of rich people than poor people for humanity to eliminate hate and insecurity from our nations and communities. Prosperity is what the whole world need now.

Of course it's not possible. This is against the rule of the world. We can't all get rich, but some of us will be eliminated on the mid way. The rest will keep doing to the road they will obtain wealth.
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm panicking, tell me it will be OK... on: July 20, 2017, 11:05:08 PM
Panic selling is just for those people who doesn't believe on what would be the outcome of bitcoins future but for those knowledgable people around im so sure that they grab the oppurtunity of last weeks downfall. And look what happen now? they earn with that and their earning is not just cents but instead thousands of dollars, so if you still have a doubt with bitcoins then you should learn its movement so that you can figure it out on how bitcoins grow healthier.

Panic sellers are not only amateurs or low self esteem people, there are also professional traders that take role in panic sellings of coins. Panicking is normal, but this (panic) should not cause a mistake.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Split 2017 on: July 20, 2017, 10:51:58 PM
First, ethereum can't be $1000 forever and bitcoin won't undergo a hard fork. So your theory is not valid anymore here. We will observe only a soft split.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptos are most used as money / a cash alternative? on: July 20, 2017, 09:32:24 PM
If you're looking for a real alternative of the cas, it's bitcoin. The only problem with bitcoin is that its transaction speed is somehow problematic. Otherwise, I wouldn't look for another altcoin as a cash alternative.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Triple Figures in 2018 on: July 20, 2017, 09:25:14 PM
Pick your answer and explain why.

My choice is Antshares because of the heavy Chinese backing. But I think all the above coins have potential to grow 5x.

Can you explain how Iconomi has potential to grow by five times? It already pumped a lot having $500,000,000 market capitalization. Do you really expect 2.5 billions of dollars market capitalization for that one?
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high will Litecoin go? on: July 20, 2017, 09:05:36 PM
Hey guys
I'm trying to get some opinions on high Litecoin can go this year.
I've just started a poll on Twitter.
I'll put the link below otherwise let me know here.
What will be the Litecoin price at the end of 2017.
https://twitter.com/marckenigsberg/status/884003616914386944

Most of litecoin investors and Chinese investors are mentioning about $100, but I never think that litecoin could hit that price. The current price is an excellent exit price for me. Litecoin is such a trashy one without development.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How Long will this correction last?? on: July 20, 2017, 08:59:17 PM
How long is this correction going to last? Its been like a week now. Tired of watching everything go down.

Do you remember how long did pump last in May and June? It took weeks and it was pumping all the coins every single day. So the opposite situation can easily exsit here. This might last in weeks.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: July 20, 2017, 08:53:14 PM
I think holding of gold is better as gold is seen as an investment option for centuries and each and everyone trusts and backs gold which makes gold the most popular and safest investment a person can make. Gold will never loose its value so i think holdings of gold are better.
holding of gold is no doubt a good option people are hoding gold for a long long time, but I think the new generation is more interested in bitcoin because there is more chances to make money in trading bitcoin as compare to gold.
It was the old days when people were holding gold as in nowadays I am not seeing anyone who is saying that they are holding gold for making money if anyone is holding then he is not aware of bitcoin. Now everyone know that gold will give a smallest profit after years while bitcoin gives the same amount of profit within a few weeks or months.
yes in current time people are mostly use Gold as for jewelry and for fashion. while for making money i think bitcoin is the best option with them from where they çhave the opportunity to make a big amount of money.

Let me correct you, yes jewelry and diamond is only for fashion and luxury, but the gold is different. It's not like you said. People buy gold for investment purposes. Not for the fashion. Most of the old reserves was used for gold bullions, not for fashion items.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmed potential hard fork from bitcoin.org on: July 20, 2017, 08:46:56 PM
Something has come to my mind. Is there an exchange platform that anticipates this fateful date of the first August? I don't remember reading something about it.  Otherwise if none of them has done something, don't you find that weird from a company?

It's not possible to have a prediction and there will be no single answer untill the date, 1 August comes up. Exchanges will react of course, but there is still time for them.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Name 5 best coins to add during this selloff on: July 20, 2017, 08:42:10 PM
Can you please name 5 best coins to add during this selloff. Dont give too many names please. Just tell me what are the 5 best coins that you think are. I know nobody knows which one is the best. I want to add few more coins. I have 0.22 btc on bittrex to buy few coins.  Grin

I would say edgeless, waves, litecoin, guppy and adex for sure. I have around 0.15 bitcoin too and I'm just wating for buy opportunity during market crash.
