121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Bitcoin Cash? on: December 02, 2018, 11:12:54 AM
Hi All,

So, Bitcoin Cash price has fallen down after going as high as 1000 USD. What do you think is the future of Bitcoin Cash?

The Segwit activation in the Bitcoin Network went through successfully. I am not sure about the actual improvements in the Bitcoin Network with respect to Number of Transactions/second or the Transaction Fee after Segwit activation however do you think Bitcoin Cash is here to stay with its 8 MB block size?

Also, there are speculations that Bitcoin Cash might be centralized and most of the mining power is controlled by only few nodes.

And I read that miners are switching back and forth between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash since in some cases the Bitcoin Cash network difficulty is lower and more profitable to mine.

What are some of the major events in the pipeline for Bitcoin Cash?

In principle, BCH has a good development potential, since it is based on the BTC format, with an excellent development team. But for the time being, Bitcoin remains the priority solution for investment for me, but for success, BCH still needs regular updates and a rather long wait.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: December 02, 2018, 11:03:41 AM
I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.

In fact, this situation has already become a familiar standard for the crypto market. After entering the market, the value of many coins begins to fall significantly. This leads to the decision of many investors to sell their coins, which only provokes a further price reduction.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICO, why? on: December 01, 2018, 02:05:21 PM
Not too many good ICO's. Yes, there are many projects on different topics, but those that are really able to give us money and realize a good goal-units, unfortunately
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Currencies have negative effects on: December 01, 2018, 01:59:47 PM
There is no crisis within the market, there are a lot of tokens that show stable growth, but they are not as popular as ETH or BTC, so nobody cares about this growth.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 What do you think about MIDAS.INVESTMENT? new BIG SCAMM project 🔥🔥🔥 on: November 30, 2018, 09:20:10 AM
Untill the community would not be able of regulating different tokens and coins and their creation, there will be even more similar projects. I am not surprised.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain replace bank? on: November 30, 2018, 09:17:39 AM
The current trend of blockchain is very high, couple with it's ability to execute millions transactions within seconds, few transactions cost and no third party is require or paper signing. All transactions recorded and kept open, taking alway cross border and languages barrier, excellent in e commences. So many features to change the world. My emphasis is can blockchain has the capacity to replace bank?

You need deep understanding of banking technologies to understand why it is impossible, but I am sure that banks will use blockchain technology in the nearest future.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the governments accept crypto? on: November 30, 2018, 09:15:05 AM
Several governments make their researches about usage of crypto and blockchain technlologies, so I hope for the future to be extremely bright in this point.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Babb ( Bax ) : I think Bax will be 0.01 usd soon in Q2/2019. And you? on: November 28, 2018, 09:16:46 AM
BABB is a decentralised banking platform that leverages blockchain and biometrics to offer anyone in the world access to a UK bank account for peer-to-peer financial services.

BAX, BABB’s native token, will enable central banks to issue their own digital currencies to stimulate the local microeconomy. Local digital currencies offer citizens access to international remittances and payment gateways.

The Black Card bridges the divide between the digital world and the physical world. It is a secure payment card that links directly with your BABB bank account via a secure QR code or NFC tag. It allows both a debit-like functionality, and can also be issued as a pre-paid card for your friends and family.

BABB’s platform promotes trust. Therefore, on our network, other users’ trust is enough to open an account with core functionalities. Our innovative ‘Social KYC’ process allows anyone who is fully KYC-ed, with validated documentation, to vouch for other users and onboard them to the platform. In this way, we will extend our services to millions of people without requiring them to provide ID documentation.

BABB leverages blockchain and digital identity technologies to build a borderless global network in which everyone participates freely, using their social connectivity to transact, trade, innovate, issue digital currencies, lend money, or raise funds for business ventures. Together, we will empower the world’s micro-economy with new tools and opportunities, helping accelerate global growth, creating wealth, encouraging entrepreneurship, unlocking human innovation and lifting millions out of poverty..

Now, Babb so good with 9sts and 21bil circulating supply.

Ok, let us imagine that BAX will be great in future, but what is it for? There were thousands of attempts to make something similar and all of them have failed.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Marlin Protocol | Network Layer Privacy and Scalability Solution for Blockchains on: November 28, 2018, 09:06:50 AM
I have a question about integration. What shoudl motivate all the gossip users to trust this project and up usage of current solution? Any clues?
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should now sell coin or not on: November 27, 2018, 08:20:48 AM
Keep it. They have not reached its peak yet, so you shoudl forget about them for significant perion of time and then sell them all.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If an ICO team is anonymous, is it a scam? on: November 27, 2018, 08:18:59 AM
When deciphering between legit and scam ICO's, one of the main things everyone says is "you have a look at the team and see if they're transparent."

The thing is, the whole ideology behind decentralization is that it gives the public control over the economy's trajectory, rather than centralized and specific entities.

I see the Virternity Project, for example (https://virternity.com/), which prefers anonymity, but I'm not sure it means it's a scam ICO.

from their FAQ:

"Why aren't you revealing who is in your team?"

"The members of our team are enthusiastic about the idea of creating the Virternity space for the whole world. We want to avoid “buy-outs” of our specialists and co-workers, and also avoid pressure on them.

Also, given the limited financing at the initial stage, we are using anonymity as a shield for our technological secrets—the specifics of our current and future developments.

Many members of our team have serious jobs in major firms and do not want to advertise their participation in a non-commercial project, in order to avoid conflicts of interest.

In the future, once these factors are less of an issue, we plan to publicly name the founders and key personnel."

Satoshi remains anonymous..

Thoughts?

I also agree with this statement - if the team of a specific project is anonymous, then the probability of fraud is too high. Personally, I am fully confident that we should abandon investment in such projects. After all, no one will hide team members, if the project is of real benefit to society and plans to achieve success.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2 token ICO or 1 token ICO? on: November 27, 2018, 08:15:50 AM
in discussions with my advisors on our upcoming pre-sale and ICO launch, I was recommended to have two tokens.  First the security token that people would buy for investment purpose and then a utility token that could be bought to be used for the actual service that our company will supply.  I thought well won't that confuse things having two tokens.  This was my advisors thinking.  In the case of our company, we are offering a very valid and needed service that customers could pay for via our token cryptocurrency.  So if we just had the one security token, in order to use the token to pay for the service, you would be basically giving up the amount of tokens you used for payment which means you will no longer have the investment benefits of that token.  But if you had a utility token that could be purchase just to be used for the service, you could still keep the security token as a investment.

So what do you all think about this two token theory?

UPDATE NOTE: I want to clarify from the above post. We actually are not going to actually launch two tokens at the ICO.  We are thinking of launching ONE security token at the actual ICO.  Then 3 to 6 months later, once some of our brick and mortar service centers are open and running we will launch a utility token to be used for the payment of the service.  So you now have a security token for investment and utility token for the service centers so you do not have to give up your investment token.

Division will make tokens less attractive for most investors, because they do not want to invest complicated solutions. I made my point.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 ETH where to invest on: November 26, 2018, 11:51:01 AM
i have 3 eth is there are any ico which will give me even 3X return on my investment. or is there are any hyped ico i should go for or any undervalued altcoin

3 Ethereum is a lot. I think the best option here would be to decompose into many parts of the whole amount and invest in altcoins. Now this can be a pretty good climb
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: November 26, 2018, 11:48:18 AM

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

I found several projects that failed right in front of my eyes and it's really sad. Now I expect something good from the largest ICO market, but with this situation, even they do not inspire confidence
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: November 26, 2018, 11:46:02 AM
I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.
Thank for listening.

It seems to me that this situation was faced by absolutely everyone. But I think it's the absolute norm and therefore not worth getting upset about. It is better to try again and maybe next time you are lucky
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto can be less volatile than gold? on: November 25, 2018, 09:03:08 AM
Many people compare crypto to gold, and I see so many similarities as well.

I believe one day crypto can be less volatile than gold. If more people adopt, and address values to everyday items, trading in a daily basis, (like for grocery shopping) then crypto will  be easier to use, safer, fluctuate less in terms of prices, and a lot more stable.

What do you guys think?

Some coins may be stable, but most of prices are formed by demand and supply, so it is not like for crypto to become much more stable than gold.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So, Crypto Market ALL RED Again!! on: November 25, 2018, 09:00:56 AM
Of course, the crypto market remains red. In such realities, the only right strategy will continue to buy and hold reliable cryptocurrencies. The best coins will surely restore their former positions in the next few years, so now investors get excellent opportunities for profitable investment of their money.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you tell people? on: November 24, 2018, 09:14:38 AM
People do not believe in crypto currency.  They say that crypto is not fixed.  As fiat - gold.  Where does the value of crypts come from?  What do you tell people?

It seems to me that there is absolutely no sense in proving anything to anyone. I am sure that a smart man will understand everything himself and if he is interested he will read about it
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum smartcontract safe ? on: November 24, 2018, 09:11:42 AM
Hello,

Is Ethereum contracts like this one www.invither.com
are safe ??
did you use some ??
maybe you can give me some details.

regards

Of course Yes! Smart contracts in General, it seems to me, are now the most secure system, even in a simple system. I think they are as safe as possible in Ethereum
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on altcoins... on: November 24, 2018, 09:09:32 AM
I am also fully convinced that reliable altcoins are now becoming an excellent choice for promising investments. After all, from next year we can see a gradual improvement in the situation on the crypto market and the rise in price of reliable cryptocurrencies. But in any case, investors should carefully choose altcoins and distribute their investments to buy different coins in order to reduce risks.
