121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to trade altcoins? on: October 19, 2018, 02:26:10 PM
Hello everyone. So recently I've been trading bitcoin for alt coins as I find that alt coins are far more volatile due to lower volume compared to Bitcoin and thus more profitable when it comes to day trading. Any great alt coins I should be looking into for trading? I'd like to hear your opinion on this method of trading!

Its been a months brother that altcoins was in the red market or declined period of value. Which means you can trade any time you want bro.
But if you're not that good yet in the actual trade, well my tips of advise to you is better not to do it. Because you will only loss of money however, even if you loss at least you will know the feelings of being a trader in the actual platform.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have to make big investment before you can make profit in crypto? on: October 19, 2018, 02:05:09 PM
I have seen quite a number of topics here where people have been selling or asking for advice whether to sell their properties to invest them in bitcoin. Am surprised some people forget that crypto investment is not always a win affairs. You either lose or win. You can as well make profit in crypto with small capital if only you have the patience to hold and wait for the time when the market is booming. Do not be a greedy investor. Always invest with an amount you can afford to lose. Have a nice day.

To make a great profit here, as i see it does not necessarily mean that you will invest a lot of money,
because somebody else earns more than he expects that he does not get any capital out of joining bounty projects. In fact, there
someone else  has invested heavily in his losses and has no return to his capital in the end.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Apart from trading where else to use crypto? on: October 19, 2018, 01:53:30 PM
There's a lot of use cases in Crypto not just apart of trading, store of value or buy/sel stuff but also a good way to communicate a people. Cryptocurrency is evolving and changing the world for a new order of security and trust which will lead for a better jurisdiction.
Yes probably it is. Aside from cryptocurrency used for trading, it is used in doing transactions such as paying for bills and such. This really happens, and this is a good indication on the part of bitcoin. This is a good start, we should be hopeful that soon enough more and more countries would adopt it.

When we say crypto it is a type of utlity token in which they have their own usages, there some can be use for paying bills, sending money thru

remittances, some was being used for mode of payment in some merchants who accepted it like ethereum, Bch, xrp, and loyal and more.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never say die to Bitcoin on: October 19, 2018, 01:18:33 PM
Quit Bitcoin and sell at your BTC at cheap today and regret later. The news coming from the governments are planned with the aim of creating FUD in potential investors because the governments are afraid of the power of decentralization. However, this power of decentralization cannot be stopped because it has already gained roots on the market as more and more people become familiar with the concepts and benefits of Bitcoin and the entire crypto.

It's been a years on which bitcoin was being attacked by the critics here,  gave different FUD about it and many became weak and controlled by their emotion to sell their bitcoin for thinking that it will go down to zero which is not going to happen in reality. I remembered the time when bitcoin came down to 200$ plus many got panic on it but after a few months it suddenly increased and became 400$ plus then after a weeks it reached 800$ then now look at the price value of bitcoin. It is shows that bitcoin has a big potentials because of the blockchain it can gives in the future.

Each members in this forums had their own basis in terms of choosing the best altcoins. I may have the best coins but for others it is not the best, So I guess you get my point. Therefore, all will depend on you mate. So for me I can say Bitcoin, Eth Xem, Npxs, Lyl, Tky, Utk, Dent, Waves, Neo, and Adex are the most trusted altcoins I have now.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: News based trading on: September 26, 2018, 04:38:08 AM
Hi
It is very common in crypto that most coins achieve huge gain in price when there is good news comes about them
In recent days xrp got huge gain in its price after us banks adoption
Same with electroneum (etn)

What you all thinks about this type of trading
Please share your experiences

In my opinion about what happened to Xrp, like what everybody said which I also agreed that whatever price it has now, for sure it will not remain as high because of its volatility, besides XRP obviously got pumped only and being controlled by the whale investors who are possibly controlling it to get more investors in the market. However, all these was just my opinion then about in ETN I don't have any idea about it.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get rid of emotions when trading on: September 26, 2018, 04:13:42 AM
Emotions is being right there always, we cannot skip it or disregard but we are humans and more powerful on this. You don't need to turn your intentions into other matters because it will not going to solve your problem with emotions when you are in trading instead adjust it slowly as you can.

You maybe right on that way dude, that we cannot skip it or disregard our emotions but we can manage and control our emotions honestly speaking. That's there is called " Self-discipline ". So this things is the good way unto it, we may not get rid of it but we can apply self control about it.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: September 26, 2018, 04:05:23 AM
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.

Hackers and scammers are every where, and I think we can't do nothing about them, except of being careful of the decision we are going to make in terms of investing here in crypto, because all here has risk involved particularly money involve. so, if you want to invest on crypto you must buy first in the exchange which are legit of course like Binance, kucoin and others after that keep and save to safest wallet like MEW or known as myetherwallet ot ledger nano.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Worth To Be Currency? on: September 25, 2018, 04:20:18 PM
Sure, it is our treading currency and It will replace fiat currency one day

Assuming that Bitcoin will become the world currency, do you think where not going to have a problem in the internet? Because, we all know Bitcoin was useful only if we have data connection, and all transaction that we are going to make using Bitcoin will be register all the records in the blockchain before we receive the confirmation. And all this was being done thru internet only.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship is the only way out on: September 25, 2018, 04:12:37 PM
Entrepreneurship was proven and tested that each of entrepreneur who became successful are no doubt can give a big help to our economy, then aside from it, they also give an opportunity to someone else to have a job according what they need to their business. Though, Entrepreneurship is for everyone but not all are chosen to become an entrepreneur.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LIKE IT OR NOT, BITCOIN IS AN INVESTMENT on: September 24, 2018, 04:09:19 PM
Yes Bitcoin is an investment, that's why if not Bitcoin won't increase like this for sure. But because of the investors and whalers who believed in it, the demand are suddenly increased with an unexpected to be happen about its price value. Though so far bitcoin was in motion in between 6300$ to 6800$ but still lot of traders are actively doing scalping in the market exchange platform.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: September 24, 2018, 03:57:15 PM
I have heard several cases of hacking and theft of bitcoins, but they all occurred through the fault of the owner, unfortunately. Therefore, I do not advise anyone to neglect the safety of their own investments and choose only proven wallets.

Yes that's true, but even how many times it happened still bitcoin recovered and more investors are supporting it more and investing unto it. Just always secure your private key as much as possible this is very important. Don't just rely on back up save it to your USB or in a paper wallet as well. So even you pc or desktop suddenly get broken you can still retrieve your wallet, private key and password as well.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: September 23, 2018, 02:57:13 PM
If we want to be sure that our bitcoin be safe the first things we must do are such as follows:

1. For offline wallet use Hardware wallets

2. For cold wallet use Electrum wallet

3. Always back-up your wallet or regular back-up

4. You better choose such online services very carefully. Additionally,
    using two-factor authentication is recommended.

5. Always keep your software up to date/updates.

Being here in this industry you can probably earn here with or without any capital. Therefore, if you any amount of money to invest whether ico or altcoins in trading as long as you can afford to buy you are free top do it, which means big investment its not necessary for us to earn here big too. Because you could also earn here without investment capital just apply in the bounties of altcoins or in the ico project campaign.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after several years? on: September 23, 2018, 02:42:34 PM
what do you think will happen on bitcoin after several years?
i expect that bitcoin will a more bigger continuities and maybe that we can use bitcoin currency in public like buying in a supermarket cause we alk know that technology in our world was growing in every second that's only what I'm thinking
what about your thoughts?

Way back 2009 bitcoin was too cheap in terms of its value, and many critics don't believe that Bitcoin has a potentials to increase more. But look what happened now after 9 years Bitcoin was 6400+ each where majority of the critics didn't expect that to be happened anyway. so, after a years now according to the experts bitcoin by 2025 will become 100K$ each though it is just an speculation for now.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: September 23, 2018, 02:35:04 PM
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

Meaning, you didn't handle your time management dude, which leads you to lost your job. Meaning, there is no one to be blame but you of course.  However, if you fully understand now about in crypto like mining, trading, bounties and etc. Well I guess, it is a good opportunity on your side now because you can 100% give yourself focus here for you to earn here at the right time in God's time of course. Good luck! Wink
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences in btc value? on: September 19, 2018, 02:01:48 PM
Why there are significant differences in current BTC value between different exchanges.

The reason to all of this was bitcoin price value always depend in the demand, once the it become high price will move accordingly in the market as well, depending on the average of the demand then every exchange you will see they had their own difference volume depending on the count of their clients investors who bought to their platform, that's why bitcoin was volatile and because of the arbitrage also traders in the market had a chance to take profit in the near future.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: September 18, 2018, 01:59:43 PM
in the future, will there really be a need for fiat currency? Government can collect taxes in crypto, determine how to allocate it, and spend it in crypto. Ppl can receive salaries and do all commerce using crypto. Loans can be done in crypto. Fundraising can be in crypto. Sure, problems have to be worked out in terms of scalability, does it have to be completely decentralized, etc, the value has to become more stable. But theoretically, is there any reason to have fiat in the future?

It has been established that governments can now do taxation without representation by printing more money (which is a tax on everyone holding the currency), instead of trying to get a bill passed that allows it to increase the tax rate. With crypto this would be no more. All increased taxation would have to pass a vote.

From an economic standpoint, the idea that a country can stimulate its economy by adjusting interest rates is tenuous. There is just as strong an argument that lowering interest rates has caused speculation and bubbles, with calamitous results. In a crypto market economy, capital will flow from where it is needed less to where it is needed more.

Maybe this could be the reason why bitcoin experts were in the near future they've predicted that Bitcoin can possibly has a capability to become the world currency, which means Fiat in the future will be like a toilet paper that will not be useful anymore. But for now while the government are having now research for crypto or in the blockchain, of course Fiat are still prevails and useful as long as there is no final declaration for Bitcoin digital world.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Is wallet security important to use? on: September 17, 2018, 08:41:26 AM
I once read for security wallet,
this is just for discussion how to secure the wallet. I do not think there is a security system and there will be no theft in the wallet.

If you choose your wallet or phone software, you need to be extra careful! Remember that bitcoins are stored inside your device. If your computer or phone breaks down, your bitcoin is gone too! Thieves can also take your bitcoin if it gets access. Consider the following tips to avoid losses:

Perform regular backups regularly
Save the backup on another device like in flash or another computer.
Use the encryption feature
With encryption, each transaction requires a login with a password. This prevents thieves who manage to gain access to your computer.
Do not forget the password
Losing a password equals losing your money! Wallet does not provide a password forgot feature.
Learn more please learn how to secure your wallet here: http://bitcoin.org/en/secure-your-wallet

Do you guys have a better idea to avoid theft in the wallet?
Your Knowledge and Ideas will be more helpful if shared.

well, as long as you have your private keys and have back up with it, for sure it is purely safe unless you give your private to any of your close friends but if not, its very safe and the hacker won't able to hack you wallet. Then, one of the safest wallet offline which is cold wallet was Electrum and Multibit these two are good.
