c-cex.com  very bad exchange it will ruin our reputation

I know.

Yobit - bad.
Ccxex - bad.
Cryptopia - expensive.

Lets work on getting to Bittrex. Play slow and promote BTCZ.

Don't know about the devs or the rest of the community, but I'd far rather spend 5BTC on whatever it takes to get on Bittrex/Poloniex/Bitfinex. I know it's not a direct 'spend the BTC and get listed' when it comes to those exchanges, but there must be a better use of funds than spending it on C-CEX or Cryptopia.

Agreed. Marketing has better results. Then exchanges will put BTCZ by themselves.

suggestion what if somebody creates a btcz miner and like ewbf certain % goes to the developer , what if we make use of that fee to get us listed on those exchanges that requires payment.

That is briliant. Someone sent email to suprnova about a special fee for development and no response. Then pcmining.xyz introduced that fee but miners are just not joining. This could change things...

Seems like a good idea worth looking into.

The thing is with ewbf mining the div fee can be removed by the miner then the mining software to div fee would be pointless.

Im a miner myself and trust mining pools that pay out smaller pools are harder to make anything from so they leave.

If the community could get the big farms to donate then that would make sense.

About dev fee:

No. Even with --fee 0.0 it still spends about 5% of time mining on developer's pool. You can check them by 'DevFee' string in the log.

Dunno who sent that email to me, but I didn't receive a mail about "special fee for development".

However, I don't think this should be MY (or the pool's) decision, the miners should decide if they want to donate for development or not, i'm just running the pool. I can post a text in the header of the pool with an address of the dev's where donations should/can go to if that would help...

Thank you.

Hi,

Which exchange we are collecting BitcoinZ for donation? Thanks.

The options are
C-CEX for 4 BTC.

and Cryptopia for around 5-6 BTC depending on the exchange rate for the 5200000 DOT they require.

Bittrex has already been notified.
If it was my choice, Id just want to be listed on Bittrex and no other exchange. We really don't want to be involved with any kind of scheme or bad behavior like price manipulation or pumping.
I'm about to release some woocommerce plugin's and shopping cart plugins, wordpress, php, perl plugins for receiving BTCZ as payment. I think that we need to be on a higher traffic exchange so there can be some liquidity. I think its just a question of time. Honestly the price is high for C-CEX and Cryptopia but actually less than some others that I had some correspondence with. One main thing about BitcoinZ is that it is decentralized and has no premine, no ico, no fundraising, no paid development. Only donations. I want to say that I have revised a lot of Equihash pools and BitcoinZ seems to be quite popular. We are seeing 500+ wallet installations a day and counting. BitcoinZ is one of the most profitable coins to mine, @ 397.44$ a day @ 100KSol. (calculated at current price of 0.00000048). Its been quite exponential in the past few weeks. All I can say is, keep spreading the word, everyone is doing great. Let exchanges know by whichever means you feel that it is possible of listing BitcoinZ. I honestly believe that many are watching. Keep up the good work everyone!

-hellomoto

I agree. Exchanges will add the coin by themselves if it becomes profitable for them.

I like goals and picked this one. It shows power of what people can do if they unite and make things happen.

Mining on pcmining.xyz, donating and spreading the info about BTCZ is good enough for now.

Hmmmm is something wrong with pcmining.xyz? Can't connect from my home rigs anymore.

My nicehash contract is still running just fine.

Mining elsewhere until this is resolved.

My rigg is running just fine on pcminein.xyz.

Yep, up and running for me again now.

I'm sad to hear this heartfelt effort hasn't attracted enough support.  Also, e4f4's efforts in directly mining to a zcash address, I'm not sure how that is going.

I'm going to come up with a plan to further incentivize the miners, but I need to speak with a couple pool owners first to see if it makes sense...fight greed with greed? everyone please comment on your own ideas.

Although a 51% attack I've read is a theory and hypothetical, it doesn't provide confidence in some community members.

-cryptorex

Yep - I propose we use this as the 'official' BitcoinZ community pool for now. Don't spread your hash rate among the many other pools out there. Use the one that is full of keen community members looking to donate 0.5% to the dev team.

Twenty pools are too many, miners are looking for where it is more profitable.

Yep, totally right. The global hashing power is too small and very very centralized on suprnova. While I am not worried about some 51% threat, it's still not good for appearances. Plus other than for max payouts on suprnova, I just don't know of a pool that has better than 0.1% fee and donates 0.5% to the devs.

Maybe the OP should be updated to really highlight the PCMiNing.xyz pool as the main one to use if you're new to BitcoinZ.
I'm going to set up another NiceHash mining contract to run on PCMiNing later today - we need the hash rate, and I'd advise others to do the same. That, or just donate directly to the devs.

OP should be updated. So far pcmining.xyz is the best option if we want to support this coin by mining.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTCZ] BitcoinZ on: October 21, 2017, 08:36:47 PM
Well i want to thank some other member who joined me while trying to mine ZCash and donate it to addy in OP for getting BTCZ listed on other exchanges.

Fail. I am not ashamed. I tried.

It doesnt matter because BTCZ is getting just fine. But if someone suggests other methods that will help BTCZ i am willing to try.

I did re-connect from 3 different places with no problem...  Maybe do you have wrong conf?

stratum+tcp://pcmining.xyz:3957

PS: I even plugged my cpus to pool Smiley

I have by far the highest hash rate on the pool. I've been mining three machines and nicehash, so no, pretty sure the config is correct. It worked for about 6 hours then stopped. I was able to connect to other pools though. I'll try again later.

What's most disappointing is that not a single block has been found since I joined the pool. Looks like just too high a hash rate on suprnova...
yes I moved my small farm over to www.pcmining.xyz and tried to drum up some support but no ones interested, have 17 RX 480 and waited over 2 days for a block there, what pcminer did to support BitcoinZ with 0.5% donation says a lot considering pool fees are only 0.1% nearly all profits from his pool are going back to BitcoinZ development fund, for the good of the coin keeping hash rate decentralised and fund for exchanges I would have thought we would have seen a good turn out but lucky  if me and 4 others switched pools, without support from miners any other pool is dead with supernova having all the hash rate,I doubt we will get listed on bigger exchanges with the way things are since exchange owners see this as a security risk with possibility of double spend 51% attack.

Dont worry. I have seen some charts at miningpoollists.com and other coins also have this 51% problem and they got on other exchanges.

Thanks for trying to help.

And what's the problem about mining on supernova? Don't get it...

Its not a problem, you mine and get BCTZ.

What we were trying to do is to help BTCZ get listed on other exchanges by donating or mining on pcmining.xyz where the pool owner set up a special fee to donation address in the OP.

134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTCZ] BitcoinZ on: October 20, 2017, 09:28:32 PM
If someone follows what i am willing to try:

Picked Zcash.

Pool - zcash.flypool.org

Detailed info - https://zcash.flypool.org/miners/t1ef9cxzpToGJcaSMXbTGRUDyrp76GfDLJG

My bat file for dstm’s ZCash Nvidia Miner v0.5.2
zm --server eu1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user t1ef9cxzpToGJcaSMXbTGRUDyrp76GfDLJG.e4f4 --pass x

Username is the ZCash donation address from OP and after the dot my btctalk username. First goal is 5 BTC - around 130 ZCash to help BTCZ get listed on Cryptopia or C-Cex.

To recap - lets join, mine together to donation addy and help BTCZ get listed on popular exchanges.

Hello to you all today.

So, BTCZ is gaining popularity. I like that community has set some goals. Like getting on some nice exchanges.

So far pcmining.xyz is the only pool that has a special donation fee to help with that. Unfortunately it is not supported by miners and it is not finding any blocks - hence no donation is sent to help with exchange listings.

Lets try something else.

In the OP there are donation addresses for marketing - exchange listings purpose.

I was thinking of pointing my miner to one of those addresses on some pool few hours a day - every day until enough donation is achieved to help BTCZ get listed on cryptopia and ccex.

The plan:

Lets work together and find a good mining pool. I think it will be best to avoid BTCZ mining because we would need to sell around 10 BTC worth of BTCZ to get listed on these exchanges. ETHEREUM seems like a good choice.

If we all work together and point are GPUs few hours a day to ETH donation addy on some reliable ETH pool (would be nice if PPS model exist) i think we could easy get BTCZ listed.

Also if this works - any other goal set by community can be solved like this.

I do not expect this to work but i am wiling to try. Few of us are mining on pcmining.xyz and we are not getting any BTCZ  so i think this plan would be more beneficial for us and BTCZ.

Thanks for reading.

Is the bitcoinz.global website hosted on some repository like GitHub so everyone can contribute by pull request?

Please fix this on bitcoinz.global:
- Donwload wallets => Download wallet
- Total coin => Max Supply
- Current supply => Circulating Supply
- Why BitcoinZ Huh => Why BitcoinZ? (it looks more official, we use single question mark)
- Our wallet is compatible with linux, windows, ios and android. => Our wallet is compatible with Linux, Windows, iOS and Android.
- Linux and Windows wallets => Linux, Windows and mobile wallets
- Decentalized Exchanges => Decentralized Exchanges
- All in the world can have at least one BTCZ => Everyone in the world can have at least one BTCZ

Owner of the site mentioned he needs help with translations. Looks like english also. Try to contact him on slack. Link is in the OP.

New miner out. 25 Sol/s faster for me.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2021765.0

Confirming 4% gains across the board. I've been testing this for days. Some stability issues but definitely lower power draw. Find the overclock sweet spot and you are basically getting ewbf dev fee and pool donation % 'free', even with dstm's 2% dev fee factored in.

Nice review.
