It's interesting your stance, dev! Really projects should have this type of driving, because delivering the product after ICO is really sad and irritating! Prices wind up falling after the launch and people will buy the tokens only after some real product! But if the product is in the test phase is already a big step, is it your case?
Hi Eddyc, thanks for your message. We are not in the test phase yet and this is one of the reasons we still haven't decided the ICO date. We are already in a very advanced stage in terms of the token smart contract code (available in public github) and we have finished some architecture definitions for the platform and also started developing a smart contract for the first pension fund (a proof of concept). Our dev team is working really hard and we want to present at least the demo of the platform before the ICO. We are also finishing the whitepaper, website and establishing some partnerships and those are other reasons why it doesn't make sense to announce a date right now, but we are getting really close to be able to do it. |

I haven't heard about fundrequest.
I have just mentioned in another thread about ICOs that I think the 0x Project is very interesting, and the token sale will happen on August 15th (but you need to register today). I think this is the most interesting ICO in August because the 0x protocol is already being used by other projects such as Aragon, Melon, Augur and district0x that already had their own succesful ICOs.

In my own point of view the most successful ICOs are Aragon, qtum and bancor. There are many ICOs are successful today. You could see those tokens in some websites like http://www.tokendata.io// to see the value of tokens in ICOs. Bancor? I do not think so, as we all know, the bancor ICO is over quickly since this June is a crazy ICO month, but after that, the price of BNT is low and lower then the ico price just a few days later. Recently, the market get worm, but the price of bnt is still low, I do know where is the success. I usually contribute in ICOs when the application makes sense in the Ethereum ecosystem and I am in no hurry to sell the tokens. I think the idea of smart tokens introduced by Bancor is very interesting and I'm holding my BNT. You can't say the ICO wasn't succesful, because they raised over $150 millions in a few hours, but I don't care about current price since I am investing in interesting projects for the long term. I have also contributed to Status and TenX ICOs and I will soon receive a TenX debit card they are giving to ICO participants to use crypto anywhere  . Both are also very promising projects built on Ethereum. The next one I will join is the 0x project, registration period ends later today and the token sale will take place on August 15th. The 0x is a protocol for ERC20 tokens and some projects such as Melon, Augur, Aragon and district0x are being developed using the protocol. They have created a very democratic ICO mechanism which will prevent whales from buying everything in the first minutes. I am not associated to 0x in any way, but I really like their project and the token sale process they came up with. |

Hello we are very happy that you joined us, our first hero in campaign! We still didn't announced the end period, but we are going to decide soon, it will not be so far, as soon as we set i will inform you. It is just a decision to have everything planned to avoid any possibility to not having to postpone it. Im hoping that you will make an announcement in no time as Im valuing time. Having stay for a campaign for long period is risky and I don't want that to happen. I will still wait for few days for your announcement. Besides the project in which I am involved (Auctus), one project and upcoming ICO that caught my attention was Grid+. They have a solid team with people from ConsenSys and they are using the Ethereum blockchain for energy distribution, and I think that is very ambitious and revolutionary. Thanks for the update. This project looks interesting and good to know they're hitting their timeline. People should note though... you cannot sign up if you're in the US.  This has always been an issue in crypto investments. Every ICO I've seen has a checkbox for the participant to say he is not from the US. Now with the recent SEC regulation news, I think this will be even more common (not allowing people from the US). |

What you guys think which altcoins are the best for investment purpose, mention your reasons too?
For me below are the coins which are best for investment.
Icn (High potential to increase in near future)
Adx (Price is low from ico but price will increase soon)
Vsl (Profitable)
Eth (Best option to invest for long term)
Ae (not on exchange yet)
In your list the strongest one is of course ETH, specially because three of the others (Icn, Adx, Vsl) are projects built on the Ethereum network (Iconomi is a fund management platform, vSlice is a gaming platform and AdEx an advertisement platform), so the rely on Ethereum to be succesful. ICN is very interesting and their platform (iconomi.net) is live and open for the public (they have just opened it earlier today). I don't know a lot about the others, but AdEx is competing with other big advertisement projects such as the Basic Attention Token (BAT). Aeternity from what I've heard is another platform project, but I think they also used the Ethereum network to create their own token for the public ICO. I've heard some bad things about them, not sure what is true and what is not, but some people claim to have never received their ICO tokens and some are questioning the Dev team. So, in my opinion the best in your list is still ETH followed by ICN. |

Mining requires (in most of the cases) special hardware. To see which option is better you should take in consideration a lot of factors, such as electricity prices in your country and if you already own some of the hardware you will need.
Of course there are a lot of different currencies, some types of mining require less energy and hardware, such as with coins that use Proof of Stake instead of Proof of Work.

This is a very difficult comparison to make. Both definitely have a rather unique value proposition. BTC is the oldest and most well known crypto, and ETH will be very interesting once it switches to POS.
I agree, except that I think Ethereum network is already very interesting, even before PoS. There is no need to pick one, they can both grow together. Ethereum is a platform for smart contracts, not a coin competing with Bitcoin. |

I think there is no way to really help you unless you are more specific.
What kind of business are you starting? Do you need security regarding trading in exchanges? Will you mine a coin? What OS are you using?
Be careful if you are not very experienced because there are a lot of mistakes you can make and a lot of phishing and scams going on.

I think some altcoins have a really bright future ahead of them like ETHEREUM,ETHEREUM CLASSIC, MONERO & LITECOIN. All these altcoins are very progressive and you can expect great growth from them.
I don't know if people will still support Ethereum Classic if Ethereum continues evolving and being adopted by companies and solving current technology problems. I think there are a lot of interesting projects going on. I really like Ethereum and I am trying to get some more knowledge about coins that use a different technology (not blockchain), subh as Byteball. |

Hello guys. As you heard which altcoin will get 50x-100x in a short term. I know nobody can say absolute result. But I wonder your opinions that important for me.  Since you asked for opinions, I will share mine. There is no magic formula and you shouldn't be asking around for 100x profit in short term, because there is no such thing. Cryptocurrencies represent a young, promising and disruptive new technology, but you should be cautious about price volatility. You shouldn't invest money you can't afford to lose (in case a major correction happens) and you should be looking at it for long term investment. This is my opinion. If you want my advice, read about the project behind a coin before investing in it. Try to evaluate the potential future market cap of the project based on market size, competitors, team and business potential and then you should be able to identify good investment opportunities. If you just ask here and don't search on your own you might end up buying some coins people recommend you for self-interest. |

Thanks for sharing your opinion! We are currently developing an alpha version of the platform and smart contracts, and we will be able to deliver a beta before the ICO. We completely agree that the legal aspect of our core business is very important and this is one of the main reasons why there will be a token sale to fund our project. It is very important to have a specialized legal firm backing us up and since our team is composed of professionals from investment and technology fields we need to hire a third part. Our plan for the beta / MVP version is to provide an unregulated pension fund using only digital assets that will be a Proof-of-Concept and showcase to attract traditional funds and help us with regulation to be accepted as a legit pension fund. EDIT: In addition, we believe that our first release (digital assets pension fund) could receive support from other Blockchain startup companies that may have developers and employees around the world receiving their payments in crypto currencies and our first smart contract pension fund could be really used by our fellow blockchain enthusiasts. |
