121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Three Great Alternative Blockchains with Really Low Transaction Fees on: November 22, 2021, 12:08:17 PM
for me the best alternative is solana and BSC. both of these networks are good enough to replace ethereum and are good as an alternative choice. low cost and fast is the reason. the other may be good, but neither is better than the two networks. solana became one of the serious challengers in the Dapps platform competition, sticking closely together with BSC.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: People tend not to move on: November 21, 2021, 12:52:59 PM
Basically, humans prefer to be in their comfort zone. so this is why they don't want to change. even so they don't hate change, because it's also a part of them. being born, growing up, and dying in the same place is perfectly normal. rather than trying something risky, they better accept what they already know. this also applies to everything. such as the general public views Bitcoin and crypto, or the system transition to digitalization, or changes in the environment to be more modern. all because humans worry too much about new things.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFTs overhyped? on: November 21, 2021, 08:48:14 AM

Do you think NFTs are overhyped? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

not too overhyped, but just getting out of hand. NFT is an attraction for the market, but its insanely expensive price makes it look weird. many think NFT is based on pure speculation and there is no art in it. only with influence, one can sell NFT at a high price and otherwise original artwork made by an unknown person will only be priced cheaply.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play-to-Earn games on ETH: What's the catch? on: November 20, 2021, 02:15:42 PM
I see hype surrounding Play-to-Earn games (P2E) lately, just because it brings a new income stream to gamers. Many people are greedy, so they recur to blockchain-based games with the hopes of making big bucks in return. While P2E sounds promising, it's limited to the underlying blockchain network's capacity. I sometimes wonder what's the catch of games which "give away money for free", since fees on ETH are so high right now. How does the game generate revenue by itself? I suppose it's not out of thin air. We'll have to see how this will play out during an extended bearish market. Most probably, P2E will fail just like ICOs back in 2017.

Thoughts? Huh

if it is on the ethereum network it is not profitable. but it's different if in other networks that have cheaper transaction fees. it can generate income for those who play it. and I doubt that during a bear market, such games will fail. because as long as someone is still playing it, they can survive in a long bear market though. so the focus of P2E game developers is how they keep game users still playing.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: November 20, 2021, 06:16:22 AM
Polygon is so cheap and fast to use for "De-Fi". The sidechain has so much potential to take the world by storm. By taking the security of the main ETH blockchain, Polygon becomes a better choice than competing platforms like Binance Chain and Solana. Yet, the coin (MATIC) is trading below the double-digits. That's surprising to me, considering that the sidechain is quite convenient for day-to-day payments. If you compare fees on Polygon vs Binance Chain, you'll notice the former has the lowest gas fees. All Polygon needs is hype (mainstream demand) and it could soar all the way to the moon.

Do you think Polygon (MATIC) will reach $20 within a year from now? If not, why? What are your predictions for this cryptocurrency? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

polygon have the potential for that. I'm even sure that the current price is too cheap. look at one of the current polygon competitors, solana is already past 3 digits in price. when viewed as a whole this project is good enough to be one of the alternative choices for the current Dapps network.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the end of crypto? on: November 19, 2021, 01:26:17 PM
ALL Crypto is crashing. What happened to crypto? Is it the end of crypto?
how long have you known crypto?
this is nothing new for highly volatile markets. so get used to it and don't worry just because the market crashes. in the past this is always repeated, and back bull. so this is not the end of the crypto market. You're exaggerating, if you think so.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and non-formal workers on: November 19, 2021, 03:41:56 AM
What about those you know in your country, does this happen in your country and the people you know? I don't think there are any restriction governing formal workers involved in this industry as investors or traders.
first in my country there is no limit for those who want to stay up late crypto. it is allowed for those who work in government or not, formal or non-formal. all open to the public, there are no regulations that prohibit or limit it. but if you look at the age, probably most of the crypto traders in my country are around 24-40 years old. and the highest average is at the age of 27-30 years.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the BULL MARKET Affects the NFT markets on: November 17, 2021, 11:57:23 AM
i have been watching closely the crypto market and I wanted to ask if the bull market that affects crypto also affects THE NFT markets.
indirectly, yes it affects in another sense. not only during a bull market, during a bear trend will also have an effect. because the purpose of people buying NFT is also as part of the investment.

most NFT Markets that I know have a close groups or secret groups where they instruct their owners and creators to increase the price of their NFTs.
can you prove this? because I doubt if there is such a group.

What determines the price of NFTS?
speculation, uniqueness, rarity, and who made it.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: correction or start of a bear market? on: November 16, 2021, 03:38:41 PM
I have no problem with what will happen. whether it's a correction or a bear market, because I'm already prepared for it. but according to what I'm seeing right now, the situation this time is just a correction so it's not a huge problem. the market is quite strong at the moment, a lot has happened throughout the year. and it is very influential for the market. your friend only saw from previous trends where the end of the year became a reversal situation. in previous years this may have happened, but not this year. if we take a closer look, there is no reason for a bear market to occur any time soon. overbought is not an excuse, it will only result in a correction. so no need to worry for now, the market is fine.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 Vs 2021 on: November 16, 2021, 10:56:07 AM
Things will work out differently this time because the demand of crypto in 2021 is way bigger than that of 2017, huge institutions are into crypto right now and it's growing faster than the past so things will be different, even if bear market happens it won't last long like that of 2018 and 2019
Another factor that is completely different than what we saw back then in 2017 is the state of the economy itself, right now there are fears among the population about whether or not the economy is going to recover, and this means they are looking for alternative investment which are not part of the traditional system to protect themselves in the case of a crash.

Gold and Silver have always been a good way to protect yourself in times of economic uncertainty but now Bitcoin and the market of cryptocurrencies in general is also part of this conversation, making more unlikely the possibility of a crash at the end of this year.

yes you are right, the situation where everyone doubts whether the economy will recover or not is a plus for the crypto market. bitcoin is an alternative investment after the recent pandemic. and this is the difference compared to 2017. and don't forget about the NFT hype, many people who were not familiar with crypto are getting interested because of NFT. The current NFT ecosystem is very strong, and it looks like the hype will continue for some time to come. There are a lot of positives right now, and all of them will prevent a situation like 2017 from happening.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you guys think is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 15, 2021, 01:20:42 PM
And they likely won’t be around within the next 10 year.

You're wrong, doge has proven that this coin can last even if it has no real use. one of the reasons is because of the strength of the community, this is what makes the difference. the community plays an active role in maintaining the doge's position so far. and this also applies to the shiba inu. when this coin first entered the market, their community was very loyal. I believe that even without real use, the shiba inu will still last ten years. Meme coins are now taken into account and are not really just jokes.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM: THE RAPID FLUCTUATIONS IN GAS FEES on: November 15, 2021, 03:12:45 AM
ETH blockchain  is messed up now.  What happened  to ETH 2.0?.
ethereum 2.0 is still in development and testing stage. You can find the latest update of 2.0 on your favorite cryptocurrency news website. but I don't think this is coming anytime soon. seeing this mess it's better not to make transactions using the ethereum network until they have a solution to this problem.

Imagine  if the transaction  had failed after 24 hrs, I would have no choice but to cancel/replace the pending  transaction  with a higher gas fees. Clearly,  with a failed transaction, ~ $60 worth of ETH  would just go  waste🗑

this is the biggest problem with ethereum, their network is not friendly. and there's nothing we can do about it. we can only surrender. I personally haven't used ethereum for more than 6 months, even though the erc20 token I have has gone up in price. I never once had the thought of selling it, because the fees transaction with the profit earned was not comparable. and it would just be in vain.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My plans for the next bear market on: November 14, 2021, 11:17:40 AM

Main question about my plan is it safe or not keeping usdt for months?

Why not. I've kept a few tokens in the ledger for over a year and no problems have occurred, so go for it. Ledgers are perfectly safe, as long as you're always careful.

but my question now is do you believe a bear market will really happen next year? I see the probability is low, and the situation could turn into a long bull. if that happens isn't it very dear to you. You can get a bigger profit if you don't sell it. so it's better to observe the situation first before starting your plan.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: November 13, 2021, 10:35:52 AM
Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

I rarely invest in new projects nowadays. but in the past I did quite often. in the past most of my portfolio was new coins, but this strategy is not quite profitable. so I'm starting to lose interest, and rarely pay attention to new projects nowadays. If you ask me if I'm not afraid of losing money because I invest in a new project. I think everyone including myself has a fear of this. but all return to the risk and the results are worth it. high risk = big profit. so everyone is ready to lose money when investing in a new project.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin still worth holding on: November 13, 2021, 06:41:15 AM
What's your reason for still holding the meme coin in your wallet, and when do you intend selling it all off to buy a more purposeful coin or token. Are you holding just because of the hype, or do you have any analysis be it technical or fundamental technique that is giving you a go ahead signal to hold more or the hype is doing the work for you.

I'll hold on until the hype starts to fade, and sell it right away. I don't have any fundamental analysis, because they won't work for a coin without real use. The reason I bought the meme coin is because it's currently hype, that's all there is no other reason for me to buy. I'm not an expert, I'm just following the current tide. if asked whether buying at this time is still worth it or not? I don't have a definite answer. if you look at the price it's not worth it. but judging by the hype, still good. The meme coin hype isn't over yet and there's no sign that it's going to fade yet. so buy is still quite good.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Success for crypto will be bitcoin losing its crown to a stablecoin? on: November 12, 2021, 06:41:03 AM
sadly it's hard to come true. it is very unlikely to shift bitcoin now or later. stablecoins may be good, but the goal of people in crypto is profit. they say adoption and so on, but their main goal is profit. if stablecoin is number one, it means that market volatility is gone. the market becomes stable and it is difficult to profit from such a situation. so if choosing which one is the best, everyone will vote bitcoin must remain number one.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment poll on: November 12, 2021, 02:28:38 AM
Dear Members, I am planning to invest $1000 to buy few risky coins with a good possibility to grow. From your perspective, which of the above coins have better potential to grow. Would you split $200 between each of the coins or rather buy 1-2 projects? You may vote for few projects. Thanks

none of the coins interest me. safemoon is good, but it won't make much profit. and the rest are just shitcoins imitating the famous coinmeme. so nothing good to invest. with 1000$ you should have much better options, than the coin you mentioned. or buy a shiba Inu today is also not too late, the price is cheap and it's still hype. or you can buy coins from developing blockchain network projects like solana, aurora, Polygon, and so on. this is much more profitable than betting on shitcoins.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: October 28, 2021, 11:54:58 AM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money. Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?

everything you say is true. doge can be seen as a joke, a big bubble, or a profitable investment. everything can be done by this coin, so it depends from which angle you look at it. If you're an optimist, you'll see doge as an investment opportunity. but if you are pessimistic, you will only see doge as shitcoin.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not Bitcoin or Ethereum, it's a good cryptocurrency for the short term on: October 27, 2021, 05:55:53 AM
from the start the two coins were not for short-term investment. the price is already very high and the level of volatility is low, there will be no profit generated from short-term investments for bitcoin and ethereum. coins like shiba INU or others that rely on hype, are indeed best for short term, but bad for long term investment. the hype only existed for a moment, and it didn't last for long.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hype is more important than Utility on: October 26, 2021, 11:17:46 AM
new coins must have hype. and old coins must have real utility or use cases. These are the basic steps for determining the coins you want to buy. and both things are equally important. hype and utility are two important things for a coin. and this also affects in determining the investment period. the hype is suitable for the short term. and coins with utility have long term potential.
