121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: October 06, 2020, 07:07:06 PM
To determine which altcoin assets to hold or which assets to determine the term of profit, beginners must do technical and fundamental analysis so that they are sure to find this definite advantage, not just top altcoins, almost all assets must analyze before making a transaction
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: October 04, 2020, 11:12:50 AM
very good bitcoin is not difficult to understand but it can be difficult to understand if you explain it hard
I usually introduce bitcoin like this, bitcoin is a digital asset such as a balance in an account that has no physical value but has a built-in value with a decentralized blockchain system
once I say that 90% of people understand the rest are just curious more about blockchains
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW CAN ONE KNOW A FAKE AIRDROP? on: October 02, 2020, 06:48:54 PM
Stop trying to figure out how to spot a fake airdrop. Just ignore all of them. Since around 99.9% of those air drops are fake, it is not worth wasting your time collecting those shit coins and keeping track of each and every of those coins. You would be better off doing something more productive. And you need to be really lucky to get a good airdrop. Remember, airdrops are given for free and everyone receives them. So, there is always a high chance it won't be of any value other than few dollars. And like I said, you need to be extremely lucky to earn something significant from an airdrop. And its more like you have better odds placing bets on dices and winning something.
don't judge too quickly or you lose your chance because if you go on a legit airdrop like uni then you lose thousands of dollars
be a smart person see official news, white papers and moments
that is the key in my opinion
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee on: October 01, 2020, 05:15:35 PM
Bro, i don't think that gonna happening in the future. The price of ethereum itself is not that high.
If the fee of transaction on blockchain is going too high, i think people won't using blockchain anymore in the future.
The ethereum gas fee is only very high when there are many transactions submitted with high gas fee.
I know that people do not like it but that is simply how it is, if the interest in ethereum increases then it is natural the fee increases, this means that you cannot make very small transactions anymore as the fee is probably higher than the amount you are trying to send, this can be a problem if you were looking to make small purchases but if you are a trader then you need to have enough capital to counteract this otherwise you will never be able to take advantage of the moments of big volatility in the market.
for traders, fees do not have much effect but this is very influential for ordinary transactions such as in my country's exchanger and several other exchangers ask for a withdrawal fee of 0.1 eth, in my opinion it's crazy 0.1 eth around 37usd for 1x withdrawal
Transaction fees and gas can be adjusted according to what we want but it has an impact on transaction speed

129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sure, We have good DeFi project. on: September 04, 2020, 11:34:56 AM
Defi is very risky, I am reminded of bitcoin in 2017 where bitcoin was deposited in a few months and experienced a large decline in price in a short time
YFI will be repeating the bitcoin moment in 2017
Currently, I do not dare to take big risks because it is possible that YFI has touched its ATH and could fall at any time
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology in universities on: September 04, 2020, 08:05:40 AM
University applied blockchain as a subject or administrative system is very good
if blockchains are applied in the administration system, transparency and security will be very well maintained
This is what I am waiting for, namely the application of blockchains in the education sector
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with scam copycats of YFI on: September 04, 2020, 05:08:37 AM
now scammers take advantage of this FOMO moment to get big profits
this is indeed very risky to enter, we better be more careful and selective in following projects such as YFI
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many listed coins on exchange without volume, any reasons? on: September 04, 2020, 02:56:17 AM
indeed, currently a lot of coins / tokens are entering the exchange but they do not have a large volume
it may be because the project is not attractive and the coin or token ecosystem is not running and or the project is not being continued by the developer
volume has a huge effect on trading, but unfortunately not all projects have a good community
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To Start a Blockchain Project? on: September 04, 2020, 01:30:18 AM
Hello all. on terms of Privacy. I am thinking of perhaps starting a Blockchain based project.
What I like is more less over see this project. And I like to make a collaboration. Put together a team remotely and can communicate online.
...

Look to all your feedback. need this help thanks

You need two things:

1.- Gitlab.

To have a good coding environment where any of the coders can make modifications on a private environment and an easy way to manage the codes between all devs.

2.-A server.

You need a VPS to run your node and the wrappers... it needs to be a huge server if you want to handle multiple nodes, or fast service.
looks like you don't need vps at this point, you can use localhost for testing but it depends on what blockchains project you are going to make
you need vps when you are ready to start
In my opinion, a good project is a project that has been running at least 50% and 50% running when the ICO or IEO starts
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest cryptocurrency wallets on: September 03, 2020, 10:53:28 AM
I have always used myetherwallet, metamask and trustwallet. from the wallet that I use it all looks safe and I have never experienced any problems until now
Yes, the three wallets that you mentioned are good and good wallets for everyone to use, only if for now the problem is the transaction gas fee when using the ERC20 platform wallet, that's what many people are complaining about at this point currently.

I don't like metamask, remembering that in 2017 many metamask accounts were hacked to make erc20 base altcoin sending transactions
the best way and the best wallet is an official wallet like blockchains.com myetherwallet or using a power ledger for offline storage
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 03, 2020, 08:30:07 AM

Hypothetically if we would use a Transaction Speed aka a fee of 25 Gwei - would the transaction go through eventually after several days or it could drop? i.e. should we just wait for fees to go down or we can use low fees now and the transaction would eventually go through?

(Enclosed a screenshot from MyEtherWallet showing the lowest suggested fee is 480 Gwei at the moment)

You can use low Gwei but high risk to reverse back the transction. It will pending for 1/2 weeks then it will be back to your wallet. I saw a lot of posts that transction was declined and reverse back to the wallet. better to choose 100+ Gwei. If you want to make trx and don't want to reverse the trx.
480 Gwei is the lowest price at the moment, if you set gwei lower than that price I believe your transaction will never be confirmed because there are a lot of people using ETH to participate. to participate in the Defi projects. It is better not to initiate a transaction now if it is not absolutely necessary
[/quote]
You can see safelow gas at ethgasstation.info but I don't recommend you to use lower gas because it will hinder your transactions. It's better if you use standard gas to make transactions, at least it will only take about 1-30 minutes even it can be faster or more long depending on transactions that are on the ethereum blockchains
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: September 03, 2020, 05:47:29 AM
maybe my opinion is different about why bitcoin has value
in my opinion bitcoin or altcoin has value because the cryptocurrency and fiat communities are very different where fiat has a definite community, its a country that is different from cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency gets free supply and demand everywhere
but cryptocurrency can lose its value at any time if the community leaves it like the first generation computers abandoned by the community due to the release of the latest generation computers that fix flaws in the first generation computers.
this is my opinion on why bitcoin has value
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: September 03, 2020, 03:35:59 AM
For me yes, but you have to work hard and learn programming languages. Though BTC is illegal but recently there are many Blockchain related seminar happening in my country held by the government and they are looking for blockchain developer. But my skill is not enough.
blockchains isn't just about BTC or cryptocurrency
Blockchains can be used and developed in various sectors, this is what will make blockchains developers highly sought after in the future
In fact, in my opinion, blockchains developers will get a very large salary that can even reach 300,000 USD / year
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn money during coronavirus? Is it possible by crypto coins? on: September 03, 2020, 01:56:31 AM
We can earn money even if in during corona virus using some crypto currency, just like of what we did for participating from project that have a better bounty allocation and a trusted project but we need to be careful always by choosing project because of they said many scam or fake project spreading everywhere. And if we have talent by designing or anything we can work for that and we pay us a coins.
I think not only by following bounties or investing, because there are many ways to get money from cryptocurrency and the one that I think is the safest and most sure is scalping or trading short / long term
when compared to bounties and airdrops it is not sure to earn money
I think from 10 airdrops only 1 is promising
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I use unconfirmed funds? on: September 02, 2020, 05:11:49 PM
So the miner can't mine the child's transaction unless the first one is confirmed?

That's correct. (You can't spend money you don't actually have, right?)
However, you can use CPFP and pay a bigger fee for the child tx to increase the priority of the parent tx.

this is the answer that is most simple and easy to understand
so we can only make delivery transactions when the final or incoming balance has been confirmed or speed up the confirmation by using a larger fee to prioritize the incoming balance confirmation
Am I right?
140  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] ♻️ ASOSIASI CRYPTO INDONESIA 🚯 [ACI] on: September 02, 2020, 04:01:56 PM
