Quick update! After officially partnering with Microsoft (Biz Spark +) we have received $120K USD in free hosting over the next 12 months on Azure. We are migrating all DigiByte servers to more improved hardware! This includes, DigiByte Gaming, DigiHash, DigiExplorer, Wallet services, Seed nodes and more! Stay tuned as we progress on these services and others.
And yes core protocol upgrades are underway!
I do not understand why the community finds this awesome. "Awesome", "sweet", "great". Nobody is raising questions? Helloooooowww... First of all, $120k USD for 12 months  I sure hope it's a mere typo, because 10 grant per month for some hosting sounds quite ridiculous to me. And after 12 months, then what? Microsoft gonna do another giveaway of $120k? And if not, then what's next? Digibyte gonna cough up a yearly $120k? And if Digibyte can't, then what. Migrating everything back again? First of all I believe the package includes much more than just server hosting, read up on the bitspark program. A lot can happen in a year for a start-up enterprise so it may well be the case that the team will be "coughing up" the amount needed to keep everything on Microsoft Azure. I also don't think Microsoft will simply ignore the progress DigiByte will make within the next year and may be interested in investing further. |

DigiBot Version 2.3.0 UpdateI am happy to announce my first update for this new version of DigiBot. The following is a list of what I've done: - Reformatting of command outputs, responsiveness, new /commands format to try to make it easier to understand (more on this in the future)
- Added /btcaddr and /btctx commands
- Fixed /supply and /mcap so that these commands now work with all coins on coinmarketcap
- General code pruning and database efficiency boost
This is a minor update compared to what we have in mind. As you can see this update addresses some points on "formatting and responsiveness" and "other" in the roadmap. The bounty campaign for version 3.0 has not gone as well as anticipated as such I decided to push at least one minor update before re-requesting funds to start the tipbot update. I am reducing the bounty amount to 1,500,000 DGB which means that there is still around 1,300,000 DGB to go! Let's do this! Hi everyone, long time i didn't write something as i ve got to much work but still here following page by page in silence. I'm part of the one who were here at the beginning doing a pool and giving the idea to Jared to use NOMP for his multi algo dedicated mining pool  , and i'm glad to see Jared travelling all around the world promoting digibyte and develloping it as much as he can, keep going!!!! Your work is awesome, Jared is almost the only dev in this Crypto world so much dedicated to his currency. I'm also impressed by the richlist, i m currently in the top 5 digibyte's owner ( http://digistats.info/richlist if the list is true) and will keep them on my paper wallet  . Keep your coins everyone, have some patience, you will be so happy when price goes really up, and if you sold them cheap, it will be to late to get millions as it's harder and harder to mine some (i remember 2 years ago mining 100k a day with my GPU rig, good souvenir , now its tuff). Lol nice number on the richlist. Regarding the accurateness, I know that Esotericizm is working hard on getting DigiStats revamped and we expect to be pushing that out to you guys as soon as its ready (hard to put a date on it at this point). The data on digistats is inaccurate at the present times, yes and as I said I'm sorry for the incovenience this may cause. It is absolutely possible and we already have the infrastructure set up on digistats. The only issue as of now is that I'm currently unavailable to really dev on digistats atm because of IRL stuff and the other dev is busy working on some other aspects of the DigiByte ecosystem. Rest assured that we will try and resolve this when either of us has some free time to work on it |

I can't promise anything as of yet but I will speak to the other developer to see whats up. I personally can't really do much until the end of may/start of june because of IRL commitments but at that point I will make sure digistats is accurate again. Just as an FYI for anybody running Linux and attempting to update their nodes to Radium 1.4. The daemon has been renamed from Radiumd to radiumd this also means that the folder containing the blockchain data and more importantly the configuration file and wallet.dat file has also been changed from .Radium to .radium. In order to fully migrate you will have to move the wallet.dat file from .Radium to .radium as well as your configuration file (you will also have to rename the configuration file from Radium.conf to radium.conf).
If anyone has any issues updating please feel free to drop me a PM or post here.

RADS is actually not new. It's a year old. I can confirm. I know these developers a year. Conscientious and responsible guys! Couple of days back i was writing, that guys are amateurs and have slow blockchain.... after that developer invite me to slack Now i am downloading ... for new wallet and is really faster ... wtf ? I am in dream ? Now i must invest, cause i feel something really strong here. One of the new features of the new wallet is a faster sync time |
