These guys are really genuine, I just registered and got my bounty almost instantly. Also, I engaged them with a few questions to test whether they are serious and I got good responses right away. For a start, i think it is a good project and if at all they can attract more people with the bounty program then I am sure it is going to be a success. I am looking forward to the ICO to get me some more coins in addition to the freebies.

Hi guys,
I might be interested to buy some POS tokens from an exchange and I try to understand the concept of staking after watching a few videos on YouTube. It is written on the website that the interest rate for the first year is 100%. So if I buy 10 POS, I will get 20 POS one year later in my wallet. The interest year for the second year is 50%, so I will end up with 30 POS two years later, etc. That's pretty easy to understand if I keep the tokens in my wallet without touching them.
On the other hand, I don't understand what will happen if I buy my tokens one year from now from an exchange (October 2018 for instance )...
Will I get an interest rate of 100%, 50% or another rate depending on when the token was first minted (I don't know what interest rate I'm buying in this case)?
Does it reset to 100% when the token is exchanged from one wallet to another wallet?
Is a smart contract with a date attached to each token minted?

I believe it's the first year since the contract was created and not the first year of your wallet. So if you buy your tokens one year from now in 2018 you will get the current interest rate for that specific time of the contract, that will be in the second year the 50%. Otherwise people would just create new addresses and keep getting the 100% interest rate. That's why this is the right time to hodl PoSToken because we will never get 100% interest rate after the first year, and 2 months are already gone from the first year since the contract was deployed in August if I'm correct. Yep, I think you nailed it there. This way, you cannot cheat sending your tokens to your wife's wallet and you know exactly the interest rate you will get buying from an exchange! |

Yes you will get reward if you wait longer, but you must get your reward before the 90 days Maximum Coin Age, I don't know what will happen but I guess your Coin Age will reset back to 0 and will start accumulating new reward. 2. You mint the reward available, and any time another reward are available, you will need to mint again to get those reward. I hope I am able to answer your questions. Actually that is not entirely correct, to my understanding you get more if you mint at shorter intervals. I do on a 3 day basis but obviously you may also want to consider the number of tokens you have and how much gas each time you generate the mint function. You are right. If you have more POS Token then you should mint every 3 days and compound your token for more reward, but if you have small unit of Pos Token, then the Ether Gas fee will take all your reward which is why I encourage people with less than 200 POS to wait a little longer to Mint. If you have good amount then you mint good amount of token regularly. OK, with the third airdrop coming, I will wait to get 3 more POS before starting the mining process...The compound interest versus required gas does not work for me but it is a good experiment anyway. If I want to fetch the mint() function in about 3 days, I understand that I need some gas to feed the Ethereum network. Do I need to get some ETHs in my wallet to start mining the POS tokens?

Yeah you need gas to mint. But seriously, it may not make sense for now minting every 3 days with just 5 pos balance. Maybe when the price of POSToken is high in the future, it will be worth doing.
But if you still want to do it now, you can use a method to use the smallest possible gas fees which I replied earlier to someone here. You just have to set your gas price to 1 gwei at the top of your myetherwallet page.

I recognized the real-time engine in this video since it is also used on PreciousMetalSpotPrice.com which I use on a daily basis. The engine is provided by TradingView.com. If not, the display looks quite the same. |

Here is my best guess on the maximum number of tokens to be issued:
Assuming that they conduct the biggest campaign ever to raise money, that would give around $250 million, which leads to 25 000 000 tokens pre-ICO and ICO for 87% of the total tokens. Adding to that the missing 13%, that would give a maximum of 32.5 million tokens.
If the project works, the token will raise because the profit made from each token will also raise. It can be compared to the price/earning ratio used everyday in the stock market.
1. Your math is wrong. $250 million = 250millionx10 tokens (because $1=10 tokens). 2. But let's go with it. In general that math logic only works if the 8% and 5% (really just the 8%)is based off the amount sold. But It's not, it's (I'm 99% sure) based of the 'hidden cap', which could be 100 billion coins, or 10 billion, or 200 million, or... Let's say the hidden cap is 10billion. 8% of that is 800 million. Then if they sell 25 million tokens and burn the rest, that leaves 25mil in the hands of investors and 800 million in the hands of the team and advisors. (In any case, how are they calculating the income per # of tokens per volume level? I don't see how it can be at all accurate.) You are right, I corrected my numbers in the previous post. Since 90% of current ICOs are pure bullshit or scams to steal our hard earned money, I really like your approach. With my background in software engineering and testing, I'm eager to participate in your beta launch.
This is what I love about this project. The product will speak for itself. We'll all get to see it before investing. Whitepaper is great, at the end of the day what's gonna matter is the product, and WCX will be done before ICO. Well said. On the other hand, it makes me wonder who provided the money to finance the first phase of this project before the ICO? |
