121  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the government understand? on: April 15, 2020, 01:53:47 PM
Here in my country, I can say that the government, most especially our president is doing everything he/they can just to provide money and other necessities for all us, but unfortunately, politicians under him seems to be the problem. Distribution of foods, money and other necessities are done with political interests. They choose to first give those people who voted for them during elections (they know who did and did not, as always) and also they steal some of this money.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: April 14, 2020, 10:39:06 PM
Hate to say but is true. This is reality, when you think you will be rich after bounty end and then you receive reward. You got so much tokens and you have been calculate you will get so much money if you can sell on ICO price but the actual is the price token when listed on the market is totally low from ICO price. So you only received little amount of money beside you think you will got a lot of money...  Grin

Oh yes this so true. I totally agree with this. Good days of bounty campaigns are gone. Last year of good bounty campaign was way back 2017. I remember to receive good amount of money back then but after that year, bounty campaign seems to be so unfair and yeah, they only give us false hopes to receive good amount of money from their spreadsheet. The suppose to be ICO price seems to be lower when it comes to market. So disappointing most of the times.
123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: COVID-19 teaches all of us. on: April 14, 2020, 10:21:23 PM
With what's happening to our world because of this pandemic which are mostly negative things, it is not bad at all to look at the positive effects of this. Dying because of this virus is indeed very scary but let's all look at the brighter side of everything that is happening to us right now.

We all learn to be health concious, nations are helping each other, mother Earth is somehow healing and recovering from pollutions caused by vehicles and manufacturing companies, and our faith to God strenghtens.

There are many more positive things this virus gave in each and everyone of us. Let's not all focus in negative but instead, we pray and keep our faith to God, and keep safe everyone.
124  Other / Politics & Society / Re: GLOBAL PANDEMIC - BLESSING IN DISGUISE on: April 14, 2020, 07:50:24 AM
This coronavirus is very alarming and now causing many people's death. It is very scary indeed but let's look at the brighter side this pandemic has given us. Many people are now concious about each and everyone's health, many are now aware that washing their hands and proper hygiene should really be practiced. Many nations are now helping each other. Many people are showing their goods sides by helping other people in need. Many scientists and anyone else in the medical field are now collaborating just to make find solution and cure to this pandemic, earth is now recovering and healing on it's own because of less vehicles in the road, and last but not the least, people's hope and faith to God strengthens because of this virus.
But still, people are dying, it's still a very scary thing.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: April 13, 2020, 05:35:52 PM
If we're gonna talk about normal living of people where many people think and consider money as more important thing than health of a person, well, this coronavirus pandemic will eventually change our perspective on that. Many people will now take good care of their health. Hopefully, employers will learn that the health of their employees are much important than any sales or profit they will get from their businesses. As for each country's economy, it will take a while before everything goes back to normal or maybe, some countries will develop more than other countries out there that experience a great loss during this pandemic.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: March 31, 2020, 04:50:37 PM
Not to argue the use of bitcoin, say a solution to solve to prevent being infected by covid-19 using cash, but more people keep using online banking already through their mobile banking apps and some digital wallets (Gcash, Paymaya) here in my place rather than bitcoin itself, but of course, there are some, like me using it, especially paying bills, online shopping, etc.
I do agree on this. Many people prefer to use mobile wallets and banking apps here in the Philippines. People prefer to not spend cash during transactions using this apps and another thing, it is very accessible and is easy to use. It is also popular because of the advertisements unlike bitcoin and other cryptos that are not so famous here in our country. Though many people also know and uses crypto but it is still very little compared to people who prefer cash and these mobile wallets.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: March 31, 2020, 03:28:49 AM
If you think the token/coin you're holding have potential and ability to be on top in the market, well, waiting patiently is the only key and the only thing you can do if there is a crash in the market. The wait will all be worth it after the market recovery but, if you think such coins/token does not have any future, then it will be best to just convert it to fiat money.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: March 31, 2020, 03:21:38 AM
People see the reliability and consider the government investments as a safe place for their money. If anything goes wrong to these investments, the government will sure cover it and take respinsibilities in such situations arising unlike to any private investments as well as bitcoin that depends on the market and does not have any alternative ways if ever you lose the money you invested. It will be gone forever and no one is to blame and to cover for it but yourself alone.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New suggestion for unpaid bounties on: March 26, 2020, 11:37:23 PM
Well if a project does not pay bounty hunters after every bounty campaigns they had, it is pretty obvoius to say that is a scam project and there has been lot of these scam bounties during these past two years. As much as we want to address and ask for our payment from these projects, actually there's nothing else we can do because most of them are out enjoying the money they got from deceiving people.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: March 26, 2020, 11:16:11 PM
With the current technology and with the hardwork and perseverance of many researchers and doctors, we will hopefully soon hear good news about a vaccine or medicine to treat this coronavirus. I think it will not be worse and uglier (which I really hope) than any pandemic happened during 1918 which is Spanish flu where it leave many people dead. Let's all hope and pray for this pandemic to stop.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Holders actually bought BTC during the crash? on: March 26, 2020, 11:02:27 PM
Panic selling is really not a good idea whenever there is a crash in the market but rather a very good opportunity to buy more bitcoins and wait until the price recovers. But with the current situation where people really do needs cash during the lockdown to buy for their neccessities, only those people who have extra money and have enough savings can do the buying, and those who do not have are left with no choice but to sell even their btc even with the current crash in the market.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: March 25, 2020, 04:04:55 PM
Bitcoin keeps on crashing then getting back up again, just keep doing the same thing over and over again. There's nothing new with that, yet people keep saying that "bitcoin will soon die" or "this will be the end for bitcoin" but it still recovers and even pumps up again contradicting the speculations and predictions of such people.
Yes, the current crash in the market is/maybe caused by corona virus because of the panic and urgent need of money of some people but as soon as this pandemic ends and everything goes back to the same shape as before, the market will do the same. It will recover too just like how all of us recovers from this crisis.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: March 25, 2020, 03:33:48 PM
With so many speculations and theories about the origin of this virus, I do not know what to believed in anymore. I don't want to think of the worse scenario that may have happened to its origin but if it is really true that this virus originated from a laboratory in China to be used as a weapon for other country, it is really disappointing and it seems like people are getting worse and worse everytime for them to come up with this kind of plan. Such a pity for all of us.

As for the antidote, if these people can really be this bad to others, then they may also come up with the plan to gain tons of money if ever they discover antidote for it. With the current situation today, pharmaceuticals and those people having sanitary materials and equipment are already making big amount of profit from this virus.

It seems like money is more important than lives of people and it really is disappointing and heartbreaking to know that there are people who do not have considerations and care for others.
134  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coronavirus scam email - do not donate bitcoin on: March 25, 2020, 12:04:12 AM
What a shame. Using corona virus just to get bitcoin from other people because of this pandemic is really a shame. Why do such people exist? Many people are greedy and does not choose any time to be so. Such a pity to them being such kind of jerks to times like this where in fact we should stay together as one and not to take advantage of each other.
135  Economy / Economics / Re: I have Good news for bitcoiners on: March 24, 2020, 02:18:21 AM
It would really be a great news if bitcoin really goes up to $300k but that for sure is not going to happen now or in the near future. With what's happening around the wold right now, it is really impossible to happen. Yeah, people may move from traditional markets in to cryptos but it is enough  for bitcoin to reach that high. Also, it would be highly appreciated if you share the details and basis about your analysis.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin during pandemics on: March 24, 2020, 01:38:54 AM
The crash in economy and stock market due to the spread of covid 19 virus doesn't mean it is not related to the crash in the market. What is happening in the worl right now is now affecting the crypto market and that is for sure. People will do everything they can in order to survive, even if it means nothing will be saved for their future. People will convert their assets - gold orbcryptos in order to buy the things they need in order to survive. This will then somehow affect the crypto market.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 24, 2020, 12:49:48 AM
Fiat currencies and bitcoin are somehow connected and we can't change that fact. Now that many establishments are not operating and some don't receive their salaries, it is possible that those people who invested in bitcoin will convert their assets into fiat and if it happens that most of the investors do the same thing, the market will fall and indeed all of us will be affected by it.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus crypto on: March 24, 2020, 12:17:08 AM
Cryptocurrencies being a crisis proof is not true. Corona virus affected many, the stock market, crude oil, the world economy as a whole and now we see it in the market. We also know that the crypto market is very volatile, even a simple panic can change the market price and now that corona virus is here, infecting many people around the world not only gives panic to particular people in a country but rather in the whole world. This is the reason why people  convert their crypto assets to fiat currencies to buy their everyday necessities. This only proves that crypto is not crisis proof.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus/Covid 19 Impact on World Economy Hit Bitcoin on: March 19, 2020, 04:47:11 PM
The world economy will surely crash if this pandemic -  COVID19 virus is to spread more in more countries around the world. Many businesses were forced to shutdown, workers are now working from home and school classes are already suspended, and this are all because of this pandemic. All we can do to help in stoping the spread is to follow the rules each government implented, to stay away from crowded places and to stay at home, and to keep sanitized. We should start with ourselves to help our economy to come back to its normal shape before this pandemic happened.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 19, 2020, 04:34:32 PM
No one can tell when this corona virus will end, maybe not even scientists that keeps on doing everything they can to make antidotes and medicine for this virus. And yes, the economy and stock market keeps on suffering from this pandemic. It is very sad and alarming but there's nothing else we can do to stop this except for following the government's rule and implementations about how to keep ourselves safe to lessen the possibilities of getting this deadly virus.
