124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ▶️🔥▶️[ANN]PLAY. Proof-of-PLAY | MINING-ENDED | CLAIM LAST PLY BY DONATING▶️🔥▶️ on: November 02, 2017, 01:34:24 PM
I wanted to be able to ge more tokens through your Proof of Play - but the timing of the game being open for play was right during the middle of my sleep - I managed to stay up for one game and grind Proof of Play for about half an hour to an hour - but the game was too slow and I kept falling asleep Sad

I hope to see more of this though as the concept was unique and would be appealing to many who enjoy social gaming and find mining too much a of pain. And having a charitable reason again is very appealing. Will keep an eye on this in future - thanks Smiley
125  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to prepare myself for World War 3 on: November 02, 2017, 04:37:12 AM
Always try and keep a stash of food, water, clothes, blankets and batteries, lighters and toilet paper and a firstaid kit handy in case of any civil emergency. However a doomsday prep situation, well you can go full on prepper - weapons and bunkers and fuel etc.
My ideal prep situation would be having an "Abigail" stocked and waiting for me. Thats the boat from Fear the Walking Dead. Hoping I can get enough crypto to buy her one day Smiley fingers crossed!
126  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone else smoke ecigs now and are glad they switched? on: November 02, 2017, 04:20:05 AM
I switched because my wife hated that I smelled like an ashtray. I did end up reducing the nicotine concentration, and have quit altogether despite what the naysayers thought.

That's awesome! Thanks for commenting too Smiley
And I hope you are enjoying being smoke/vape-free Smiley
127  Other / Off-topic / Anyone else smoke ecigs now and are glad they switched? on: November 02, 2017, 02:43:42 AM
Firstly - I'm not trying to take a dig or convert any tobacco smokers from your current course.
I smoked Winfield Green and Park Drive Green rollies for over 10 years, and prior to that Rothmans and Port Royal - dedicated tobacco smoker for around 20 years or so.
A few years ago though, I was just getting sick of tired of the constant government price hikes on tobacco in an "effort to reduce" smoking. Thats nice isnt it - to help the community who they claimed were addicted and putting a huge strain on the health system they taxed those people more to "help them quit"... right...
So fu*k that - I decided to switch to an imported ecig with nicotine in it. Apparently it was illegal to sell nicotine ecigs here at the time. (Sidenote - retailers don't care now so everyones buying and selling them like lollies at the shops now).

So my main motivation at the time:
1- screw paying high taxes to the govt
2- be nice not to have cig butts at every door into my house - or be constantly emptying the outside ashtrays.
3- sick of my car smelling gross every day

Incremental positives since switching:
1- Don't have to go outside to smoke - no more standing in the rain or wind.
2- Car, house, clothes and person don't have aftereffects of smoke smell
3- No more ash in random places, or cig butts lying around outside
4- My doctor and dentist don't whine at me anymore about giving up smoking (now they can focus on other statistical health infringements I have with more passion)
5- You can smoke in hotels inside and they can't do shit about it
6- The nicotine hit is different and I don't get the "omg i need a fu*n smoke" thing - meaning in a non-smoking setting (long plane rides, annoyingly long meetings or events) I'm just not as frustrated by these things.
7- The company I buy off provides a full list of ingredients and is always R&D'g its products.

Again - this isn't a conversion attempt - just a list of things I noticed.

Some negative things - like with anything - someone always tries to ruin your buzz lol
1- Dickheads who assume your trying to quit smoking with a pretend cigarette...
2- People assuming they know all about ecigs, but have no idea or have not done anything close to researching them, but read government or news clickbait saying its bad for your health...
3- Dickheads in general
4- Without the buildup of 4000 odd chemicals in a tobacco cigarette - and reducing down to 3 or 4 food safe chemicals now (the vape, flavouring and nicotine), I can no longer tolerate everyday bleach cleaners or bleaching my hair (found this out by having a massive reaction to hair bleach lol). (Now I have to only get foils and not all over hair bleach.)
5- Again, the dickheads who assume they know why you do something without listening to one word as to why.
6- This one is important!! I no longer carry a lighter at all time with me. Its frustrating when you need one to burn that stray loose thread or something...

Sorry this was a longer ramble than I expected. If you TL:DR this - then ecigs - love em - hate em?

Use pictures of cute baby animals!

In all serious-ness most successful youtubers put down their success to hard work promoting themselves or collaborating with more popular youtubers. And having appealing content of course Smiley And time, not many of them said it was an overnight success.

131  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best life lesson you learned on: November 01, 2017, 10:35:26 AM
Best life lesson - there’s literally too many to name one!
1 - Back yourself - no one else will
2 - Don’t listen to your friends advice, cos if shit goes wrong u blame them. If it goes wrong and its your fault - then own that shit and move on. But if u backed yourself (trusted your own instincts) and it works out - then u get all the kudos.
3 - be kind to your parents - its sad when they not around
4 - it sucks to be an adult - no wonder my parents were always grumpy
5 - its better to be an adult cos now i have money
Err what was the question again??
132  Other / Off-topic / Re: still haven't got a job on: November 01, 2017, 10:27:24 AM
I hope you find some paid employment soon. I know it can be a real hassle looking for work. And sometimes its definitely a help to have friends or associates to help get you in the door of a business. But keep trying. It’s hard to offer you anything helpful with a limited knowledge of your situation, but I do wish you the best. In the meantime study or learn/practice whatever skills you can in your downtime. In my experience good practical knowledge of things trumps theoretical knowledge.
Good luck!
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Token Sale] [Drones] Introducing Teleport: On-demand Drones as a Service on: November 01, 2017, 03:43:36 AM
What I really really really really really want to know is - can your drones delivery me a pizza and a coffee frappe any time of day? I live 30kms away from Maccas and Pizza Hut so its annoying when I want one and I can't be bothered driving in to get em.

I mean I'd probs have to buy a drone if I can get this service up and running aye Smiley

Good luck!
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] Piggies - Charitable - Potentially profitable - Everybody wins on: November 01, 2017, 03:34:01 AM
Heya - I just signed up for this via your website. I really just wanted to say thanks for doing something like this. I really truly hope you are sincerely legit with this venture and if so I hope others support you. But with such rampant scammery and thievery in the cryptoworld you can see why people are skeptical of any cause.

Either way - if those who have spare eth dedicated to causes like this are able to support you I salute them also. I wish you and the petting zoo all the best for a successful token campaign.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LMC]LoMoCoin - Genuine Block-Chain-Based App and Game product on: October 31, 2017, 12:30:53 PM
I’m not sure I want to give you any of my ID details just yet - I understand ur AML requirements and KYC stuff, but still, if I’ve just signed up to collect a few free coins and get a feel for the app, to hit me with ID verification for something that - it’s not what I was expecting so yeh... i’ll See how long I can collect stuff for unverified.
I’ve been waiting for an app like this though so good luck. I’ll add ya to my other crypto daily tasks Smiley

138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop on: October 26, 2017, 12:58:07 PM
Your question's probs been long answered - but just putting my noob 2cents worth in too Smiley

Over the last month - I've noted that maybe 95-98% (dont quote me on stats but like alot ok) of the airdrops I've seen alerted on other places can be found here. They are announced/explained and discussed here and some require BTT ranks etc, but most divert you off the forum for sign-up via their own website or a google form. I don't think I've actually signed up to any here directly on BTT (or received anything yet...) but I got some POW which required a facebook sign-up. Think i got the alert from my telegram source on that one.

Anyhoo others just want an email and MEW address and ur BTT id's or something. Also everyone complains about all the sh*t/scam tokens these days - but I want to complain about all the airdrop bot signups - these people ruin it also with their multiple IP signups/newly created accounts etc and are the reason why some airdrops require account ranking and/or account aging tiers Sad
139  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Besides the forum what other resources are there to find out about airdrops? on: October 26, 2017, 03:28:56 AM
Whatever social media you prefer (twitter, telegram, facebook) for example all have multiple groups on there announcing alerts for new airdrops as they see them.
I use crypto.airdrops on telegram the most, followed by a facebook group I can't remember the name of - but just type in airdrop into the search field and find one.
Basically they are all going to be offering much the same. A lot either send you to airdrops webpage directly, here for the announcement or to a googleform to complete. So basically if you want to save all the drama - just login here and check the Altcoin/Token announcement forum for new ones.
At least while you're here you can get a consensus of what people's initial feelings are before you jump on board with an airdrop that may/may not be sketchy.

Also - I like the Crypto.airdrops on telegram as they have decided to stop advertising sh*t airdrops from places that require you to send them something to secure your airdrop. Thats a f*cking joke right there and as bad as ones that ask for your private key. (Sorry for the little rant at the end there...)

Let me know if you find an awesome alert group though - I like airdrops! (the nice ones - not the scam/sh*t waste-of-time ones) Smiley
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GO AHEAD.... STEAL MY SEED!! on: October 26, 2017, 01:08:17 AM
Its such a pain in the butt the lengths we have to go to secure our fortunes Sad I'm thinking I'm going to need to get one of those safety deposit boxes soon and store a backup of my hardrives and everything in there - or rent a storage locker to hide all my stuff in...

Good luck with your wallet. And keep that seed and passphrase safe bro!
