123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold Versus Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2017, 02:12:54 AM
Will bitcoin overtake gold’s place?
It might be the case investors and adopters will use both gold and bitcoin, revealing either/or debates to be more about blackening bitcoin’s reputation than substantial analysis. Legacy banks usually prefer status quo to radical innovation.
Are you hedging in preference to bitcoin over gold?

It is unlikely that bitcoin will take over gold because the value of currency of a country is based on gold. The more gold you have on reserve the higher the value of the currency is. And one of the best characteristics about gold is that it never days and its value almost never decreases. As for bitcoin its value is very volatile it can go from &5000 a coin to $3000 in just minutes depending on the situation, but don't think that being volatile is a bad thing because just like what happened recently that bitcoin price has skyrocketed and many have earned huge amounts of money after they have bought bitcoin even though there is a fud by china. So it really depends on how it is manage and invested and by whom is investing in it. for governments gold is the better option and for companies and individuals bitcoin is better.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: October 19, 2017, 02:14:15 PM
I have lost 13k when I invested on a conman and never got the money back. that is why I would rather invest in ICO's that may have a chance of succeeding rather than investing my money to a person that will just run. and that is why I participate on ICO's

134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling Bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 01:44:19 AM
I'm a week into this whole bitcoin thing so be easy on me. I wonder why you would ever sell a BTC ... For example: you buy 100 dollars worth of BTC but the price drops drastically. Why would you sell it when its that low? You KNOW it's going to go up again. You could wait a month (for example), the price will be up again. Or am i totally wrong here?
there are three main reason that people sell their bitcoins. first is that they are afraid of loosing more money if the price of bitcoin goes down. Second is that they don't have the patience to wait for the value to rise and just sell it a little bit higher from the price they bought it. Third is the most common reason why people sell nitcoins is that they need the money for their daily needs just like me. I would not sell my bitcoins early if I could but I don't have a choice since I need to pay my bills.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: October 17, 2017, 01:37:21 AM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?
for me bitcoin is my salvation in this hard times. Since I don't have enough income I ventured here in the forum looking for a way to get some bitcoins which I already did and use it to pay bills. and in my experience in bitcoin there is a fair amount of chance to get rich if you're good at trading and lucky.

138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft accepting BITCOIN ??!! on: October 16, 2017, 08:42:12 AM
The really good thing about this news is that Microsoft will have a lot more customers since many people who use btc will now be able to buy products and services like my self. I only hope that there are discounts because their products are not cheap (well based on my local currency). And this news will surely get bitcoin more famous and adds up to its value.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas to make some bitcoin on: October 16, 2017, 01:46:09 AM
How can I make minimum of 0.3btc in a month without trading and gambling?
As I've heard bad experience with both, but still need to make money

That is common to those who enter  trading and gambling without equipping themselves with the proper knowledge before entering something risky. But if you want o earn that amount in that short amount of time  trading and gambling are the best option out there. just remember the golden rule in trading "buy low and sell high".
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: send money to someone by mistake on: October 15, 2017, 02:09:25 PM
Have you ever send money to someone by mistake ? ever happened with you ?

Like i am going to send some money to my friend via blockch but mistakenly i send to someone ( a person you don't know )

Hasn't happened but, I would like to warn everyone about a virus that changes the bitcoin addresses - just before you hit send.

It tracks the mouse movement and when its near the Send button, it changes the bitcoin address to the hacker's address. So, everyone please be careful and install latest anti-virus and anti-malware softwares onnly.

As for that issue I can recommend what my brother in law told me about. one tip is to use the Ctrl + f to paste the address after filling up the the receivers address for just to check if it's the same as the original source. But be always sure to read it very carefully because some virus will always paste the new address in every blank form. And by using this method I have never mistakenly send btc anyone.
