121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is DOGE pumping? on: December 26, 2017, 11:30:05 PM
Pumpyat in honor of the year of the dog. Many fans of this dog and among them - a lot of dogs. But seriously, no one knows why these or those coins grow faster or slower.

Well yeah some do for sure, it found a floor and a bottom and that is why now it is increasing. I don't know why and how high it will go but you could be pretty certain that 10-20 sats was the floor for Dogecoin and it appears that way now.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone watching or interested in Universa? on: December 26, 2017, 11:18:56 PM
What do you want? 30m isn't a huge amount in crypto anymore despite that it was huge early this year. Times have changed people want more but I am keeping a loose eye on this project. Have heard a lot about it and I think they are having a good wide distribution which is good for any coin to be decentralized.
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which legit coins should have the most growth potential for 2018 and why? on: December 26, 2017, 11:11:12 PM
TenX, Mothership, and Mobilego.

TenX-crypto card that is applying for banking license in US atm

Mothership-got e-residency in Estonia and is looking to get into more countries in the EU

Mobilego-undervalued gaming coin that works closely with GameCredits. If you think GameCredits will do well Mobilego will likely follow suit.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee Twitter coin buying bot on: December 26, 2017, 11:05:19 PM
Can it also cure baldness?

ROFL best part of your post Cheesy. I had a lot of red flags going through my brain when I see this two, I mean of course everybody wants to get on the pumps but this is ridiculous.
125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading analysis, is it real or speculation. on: December 26, 2017, 11:00:29 PM
If anybody says to you they actually know what is happening that is a lie. Technical analysis exists in order to give us an estimate of what is going to happen but it isn't an exact science. Furthermore, the more people that use TA the more the prophecy become self-fulfilling. At least this is what I have found in my short while in this industry.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Rothschild: Get Ready For One World Currency By 2018 on: December 26, 2017, 10:50:45 PM
I hate conspiracy theories like this they make me half think what they say will come true but the other smarter half of me thinks this is to suppress certain thoughts and to make the world behave in a sheep like manner. If I was a betting man which we all are here I would bet they are trying to make us fear and act accordingly. Don't fear and act irrationally that way they can't control us Smiley
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POS for altcoins? on: December 18, 2017, 07:41:02 PM
Lower popularity coins have a higher risk for 51% attacks then populair coins like Bitcoin. I personally believe that PoW is safer for 51% attacks than PoS as it's requires more to achieve 51% of the hash power compared to owning 51% of all circulating coins, especially for lower popularity coins. For example on coinmarketcap there at least a hundred coins that have a marketcap lower than 38 thousand, that means I can buy 51% of the circulating units for less than 1 bitcoin, if these coins would grow and I still own 51% then I'm capable of doing an 51% attack. While for a 51% attack using PoW I need to power enormous amounts of miners, probably not fitting in just one house. I think an attacker would rather buy 51% of all circulating units than powering multiple houses full with miners.

Yeah true but those are the lowest of the lowest coins on the rung. You can't say manipulate a hybrid coin like DeepOnion that easily or a coin like MUE that easily. Sure the smallest caps are easy to manipulate but if you have a decent cap you don't really need to worry about the 51% attack.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Features Do You Desire In A Trading Platform on: December 18, 2017, 07:34:11 PM
Good and easy interface to use and look at. Low fees or competitive at the least if not lowest. Good support is probably the most crucial because the other two while needed customer support is the back baone of any good exchange. Those are my top 3 features I look for and if an exchange has those I will do business there.
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effects from the Bitcoin Futures? on: December 18, 2017, 07:26:54 PM
It's helping push Bitcoin into the mainstream.

Correct and long term it will be helpful to push bitcoin into new ATHs, despite there may be short term volatility.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy coin KMD just surpassed its 24hr high! on: December 18, 2017, 07:23:13 PM
Man I didn't know KMD was a privacy coin I should have checked that out a couple of months ago then. Well I guess I will look now and try add to my portfolio soon here, thanks for the tip.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Cryptocurrency party going to end this new year? on: December 18, 2017, 07:18:58 PM
I don't believe so the overall sentiment is quite bullish on Bitcoin in 2018. It may correct and even lose 30-50% of its value from today but I don't think a crash further than that will happen.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin - New form of Budget for poor countries on: December 14, 2017, 02:06:29 AM
True but they could also lose a bunch this way and because it is a fixed budget they can't afford to do so. I don't agree with the state doing that with the taxpayer's money because that is incorrect on a bunch of levels. However, I do think the citizens in those countries should invest in cryptos because that is likely their ticket out of the gutter. That is the blessing in disguise here with cryptocurrencies lets not lose sight of it now.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the biggest changes in your life caused by Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2017, 01:52:22 AM
Probably the fact that bitcoin has allowed me to free up time and with this time I use it to meet my family more, take care of my body and mind more, and in general lead a happier life. I don't have more money than before quite the opposite I have less money but I have a more balanced full life which makes me feel great. I couldn't ask for more and whatever happens in the future I am okay with any of it.
134  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: December 14, 2017, 01:44:15 AM
There is some speculation sure but I think supply and demand is overlooked. There are tens of thousands of people entering the crypto space everyday whether that be seriously or for fun but nonetheless. And then on the flip side you have only hundreds of btc created in a day what do you think will happen? Simple supply and demand laws will tell you that the price has to go up given demand and that seems like massive demand to me.
135  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: December 14, 2017, 01:37:33 AM
If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

Yeah that is living in an ideal world which I think we can reach one day but only if transaction fees are small enough to allow us to do so. Otherwise you will only be able to purchase big products like cars, homes, and the like with bitcoin. That said though I do expect to be able to spend btc one day with minimal fees because crypto cards are coming out and I can only think that cryptobanks will follow suit soon. How we will be able to trust the cryptobank I have no idea but I would rather trust them then my traditional fiat bank which I am being spyed on by the government.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Shorting BTC on: December 05, 2017, 08:36:06 PM
I'm thinking shorting bitcoin will be a risky venture to embark on except if one has a very good source of information that would inebriate the person to short especially with the fundamental source rather than technicals. As we know that technicals only obeys fundamentals.

Inebriate the person? What are we getting drunk of shorting things now Cheesy. Well I would imagine we aren't shorting for no reason but are using some logical and valid reasoning for our shorting. This can be done through TA, PA, and or how the market sentiment is. The first two are easier to measure because they are more proven and based off numbers whereas the last one is tough and can be anecdotal sometimes and harder to measure.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase Not Sending Transactions?! on: December 05, 2017, 08:27:05 PM
Yeah I wouldn't fret there is simply no way they took off with your money or scammed you it is probably a lag in the system. This exact problem happened to me the first time I made a transaction on blockchain.info I was extremely worried that the money had vanished into thin air. Less than 24 hours later the funds were in my account and it was simply a lagging problem, you should be just fine my friend.  Smiley
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan Switches Tact, Backs Bitcoin as New Gold on: December 05, 2017, 08:18:58 PM
If you can’t beat them, join them.

I don’t know if this is good or bad. Sound good but Wall Street being happy about bitcoin while it was created precisely against Wall Street and Central Banks makes me a bit suspicious. Anyway, it seems news like this will help massive bitcoin adoption.

Oh I can answer that for you I am pretty sure this is amazing for bitcoin. First off nothing to be suspcious about they can't crash bitcoin even if they wanted to. Secondly, they already fudded the market hard and made BTC crash to 3k and probably snapped up as much as they wanted then. Now they are openly praising it because they probably have a good holding of it and would like to see it go up so they can sell. All signs point to good for me.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you first know about bitcoin what was the price? on: December 05, 2017, 08:09:30 PM
Ah going back in time I love it. My first time actually knowing bitcoin was a few years back in 2015 but it was for playing on a poker website and I thought I was going to get scammed so I forgot about it. The first time I knew bitcoin price though was this year when it was around $1k. Instantly I was hooked and upon learning about bitties I knew I had to get my hands on it.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum brought to its knees by a Cat application. Fucking disgraceful on: December 05, 2017, 08:02:09 PM
Hahaha the truth comes out once the network got stress tested once. That is quite pathetic and I hope for ETH sake they can figure their shit out otherwise they are going down to far superior coins and tokens incoming.
