Try staking on a pool stake service like coinwallet they split their stake reward proportionally between every participant. So instead of receiving a reward of 1000bitb every 14 days in your case you would receive like 5 or 6 every hour or so

I find time locking very interesting. Here is a good article regarding time lock encryption: www.gwern.net/Self-decrypting%20filesIs this the sort of thing you are planning? True time locked balances?

Any idea why this is happening? Bug or expected? Expected. It's because we changed the way it retargets to fix a major break in the chain back in May. Anything before that tends to screw up a couple times on sync. Once all those blocks are indexed, there's no errors. We should start a wiki for this sort of thing Sorry for the scare, but it's not a problem. Okay, thanks, restarting gamecredits sync now. However, shouldn't those lines be going silently to debug.log rather than console when client is running as a daemon?

There seems to be something wrong with checkpoints.cpp in the source code which was updated a few days ago. I was getting this error: checkpoints.cpp:58:97: error: ‘unit256’ was not declared in this scope ( 1121000, unit256("0x000000012b18631c9d5d90e3c5a32655f63ae1100ff8cafbde184521deba0960")) ^ checkpoints.cpp:59:97: error: ‘unit256’ was not declared in this scope ( 1135050, unit256("0x000000014d3dfb1e1a6cfa86d00baf64acd273da8536badc9aaf4f090a9b77af")) ^ makefile.unix:179: recipe for target 'obj/checkpoints.o' failed make: *** [obj/checkpoints.o] Error 1 I had to remove those two checkpoints to be able to compile. Thanks ethought, that's a clumsy old bugger's typo, twice That should of course read: "uint256" and definitely not "unit256". Please accept my most humble apologies. Typo has been corrected and re-up'd Thanks, CannabisCoin will be added to CoinWallet.co online wallet as soon as the client syncs.

I moved data data to external HD.
When I start bitcoin-QT I see message "Activating best chain..." for few hours. Processor is on 3%.
Can somebody help me ?
I did the same thing, moved datadir to an external HDD, now "Activating best chain..." has been showing for at least 10 hours. No updates in debug.log during this time, so not even sure if anything is happening at all.

As for the code, Either we hard fork and set the block reward to 1 indifferently (and disclose the current supply) or allow it to be infinite and call it a feature.
I think we need a hard fork and set reward to 1. I will have an explorer set up hopefully in a couple of days. Anyone want to volunteer to do the hard fork code changes? I will also get Teacoin added to CoinWallet.co online wallet soon, preferably after any changes have been made.

1. If cryptsy's assets are frozen by a judge in the pending lawsuit against them, that's one scenario and might delay deeper dumps.
I'm starting to seriously wonder if this could be the reason for Cryptsy's troubles at the moment. Nothing else would explain their silence in the face of such a shit storm of accusations and withdrawal troubles. Either that or they got hacked and they don't have the balls to come out and say it.
