121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: December 06, 2023, 06:45:27 AM
I'm confused and looking for answers

If you are lonely, can you have interest in gambling simply because of your loneliness?

How would you judge someone who says they don't gamble because it's fun, is that a sign of a gambling addiction?

If you are making $600 a day, that's $20000 in a month, and because you are only you start having interest to gamble, what do you think this is?

All these questions is been asked because someone close said all these and I think he are losing money and losing himself too, of all the discussions we had, these are the points I held unto.

Later he open up to have been using $500 for gambling per day, he said all these started when his wife left him, that he isn't into gambling at all, but I can't ask why his wife left him in the first place, but does loneliness make people become addicted to gambling or it's something else.

If this gambler has businesses and produces a lot of profit every day, I think $500 a day is just a small amount. And if it helps with his sadness, I think that's okay.

But if he doesn't have other sources of businesses and his daily budget is like that, it can be said that it is quite a large amount and it's a waste, and it's true what others say that gambling is a place to throw away money. He seems to be real.
122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not very easy; it took my friend a long time to understand. on: December 06, 2023, 06:34:32 AM
Well, no one actually sees trading very easy to learn. Everyone starts with a scratch and seen struggling learning in it's first weeks, months and year. And that is normal in trading. The important thing is, you learned trading even if the process is not smooth but tough. The fact that you learned it the hard way, the sweeter the profits you will soon to bear.

Good to hear your friend has learned the basics now with the help of this forum. You know, one who desires to invest or trade, there's always high rate of success if they start learning from the experiences of the old members in the forum. At least, they're legit and not just ready made stories and experiences.

That is the truth: learning trading is not easy. It takes time to research it. Moreover, the student of trading must have an interest and be ready for everything he has to face here.

There is a lot to consider here when learning crypto trading. Maybe everyone who studied trading here in the crypto space experienced it a long time before they really understood it somehow because it was not easy to understand.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will invest the money to buy the land in Bitcoin. on: December 05, 2023, 08:40:55 AM
Nowadays, many people are realizing that it is better to put their money in bitcoin than in a bank. They can still put money in the bank as long as it's the right amount and not a large amount. But if we want to collect a large amount, it is better to put it in Bitcoin or one of the other top 5 altcoins in the crypto space.

Even if I had a lot of money in the bank and had 100% idea or knowledge about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, I would really pull out my money from the bank and exchange it for digital currency. And I don't regret it; that's why I salute the decision made by OP.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: December 05, 2023, 08:28:14 AM
If you are telling that you will buy bitcoin comic book and give to children then it's not very good idea.
Because they are little kids they will become greedy for money, and they may try to earn bitcoin which will distract them from studying.
if you want to do this to give them financial knowledge then try other ideas like giving low pocket money so they will spend it wisely and spend where it is important.
they are so young like from age 7 to 11, in this age I didn't even learned to read english properly (atleast in my case) you want to introduce them with highly risky asset it's not a wise decision in my view.

In this regard, I do not agree with what you are saying. Where did you get this article that you mentioned that when a child at the age of 7 and above reads, he will immediately become greedy for money? Take note: a child at the age of 7 years old will immediately be greedy for money. Do you know the meaning of greed? Sorry if I opposed your statement on this matter.

Can it be proven from what you are saying that a child became greedy after just reading a bitcoin book, which resulted in the child becoming greedy and neglecting his studies because of his reading of the bitcoin comic book? If you haven't shown anything, that means it's just your assumption. You seem to have said that reading about bitcoin is bad because it will cause people to become greedy. Does that mean you are a greedy person? I'm just asking you. Because knowing to read any book gives us this knowledge.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...? on: December 04, 2023, 01:23:10 PM
We all know that the best business to build is the food business, because people need it to survive every day. Of course, the level of sales is different depending on how much they can get each day.

There is, and that's right, and sometimes in others, it's also strong immediately when enjoyed or promoted immediately with the right strategy in the place where you did it. Then, with the establishment of the food business, you can start right away, even if it's only a small amount of capital, to be honest. And many do this, especially in places where there are masses of people.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: When the world is evolving, follow the trend. on: December 04, 2023, 01:13:37 PM
I think the world itself does not evolve; what does evolve is that with each passing year, people discover new investment things that will help our generation.

It's just like the technology we have today; if we don't keep up with it and use it, time will really leave us behind. It seems that we are in a new era for this generation that we are facing now. So if it helps, let's go together and use it.

128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: November 29, 2023, 10:54:06 PM
Anyone can trade wether you're rich or poor. For me, there is no difference between them but their trading capital. Why? Because they can both become profitable or not profitable in trading. They both need to do backtest or do a demo account. Rich traders don't trade with the same margin as poor traders, they put margin based on what they can afford to lose. The only difference I see in them is their trading knowledge and mindset.

That's right, rich or poor can be in the trading industry. But most of the traders here in the cryptocurrency business industry are all from the middle class, only a few of the rich are doing trading here. There are still more people hoping to get out of the poverty they are in in life.

So it's not about whether you're rich or whatever your status in life is, as long as you have an understanding of what you're doing here in the crypto space, you can be here, people who are just negative are not welcome here the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency know-how.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weak or wise? on: November 29, 2023, 10:37:10 PM
In trading sometimes, there are situations and several times where traders while observing a trade placed and the profit they have made already  from it  begin to think and consider to exit from the trade and take the profit that they have made instead of waiting to the end.

Do you accept to be a weak trader or a wise trader when you exit a trade taking some profit, but not the entirety of what you want on your TP?
Trading itself will never encourage weak traders to keep their trades, but will always chose to encourage wise traders to perform better and wiser, that is the only way so that they will overcome the high risks in trading. However, when you decide to exit a trading even if the desired profits is not yet achieved, that makes you still profitable so you were never a weak trader but a wise one.

But I encourage everyone to never start a trade unless if you are ready. That way, you will never decide to perform sudden exit trading when its not the best time yet, but must be strong and skillful enough to trade until the end of a trade.

I agreed that it's hard to enter a battle unprepared because the others who enter the crypt space are the ones who enter the crypt space without thinking first, just because they were carried away by the hype of others, so they are the ones who are often deceived by their greed of money,
Others want a quick way to get money, so that's what others think about cryptocurrency, which is actually not how it is designed.

So it's better to learn first if you don't know anything yet. Now,  if you have an idea or a little knowledge, just start with a small amount first; don't immediately invest in large capital so you don't regret it later.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What lies ahead for Bitcoin in the coming days? on: November 29, 2023, 10:24:35 PM
Until now, no one knows what will happen in the market or in the future, to be honest. Just like others say, as long as there is an opportunity to accumulate crypto assets, we should save as much as we can.

If there is an extra purchase, use it, and at least we are sure that the savings we will make for the future will not be wasted. Because with every passing day, something can happen that surprises us all, whether it's positive or negative. Because that's what the unpredictable market does to the crypto business.
131  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 29, 2023, 10:13:29 PM
That is not new here in our country, because there are people doing it. In fact, there is even a display in a mall here that is actually being sold in a department store. And the other person who said it here may also have a point that it can put you at risk, but it may also depend on where you are.

Because there is also for sure someone who will just buy it without knowing anything about Bitcoin that the person may just like because he or she likes the fabric of the dress or its design, it can be like that.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when you look at your first Bitcoin wallet? on: November 29, 2023, 10:03:16 PM
My journey into Bitcoin was entire due to the need to send payment across borders as there was FX and several other restrictions in my country. So, I joined Bitcoin just to use it for cross-border payment without knowing it could actually be a way of creating wealth in the future.

Just recently, I was tempted to check my first ever Bitcoin wallet to see what I have done in the past. I was so depressed seeing the volume of Bitcoin that have passed through my wallet without me saving a reasonable portion of it.

I have the feeling that many forum users too have similar experience; do kindly share just maybe I can feel a little better knowing that I'm not a lone.

I think we all have felt such things to be honest, but that's part of making us realize the importance of it in the future, even me at first I didn't care if I spent the bitcoin I had the first time I had I have it in my own wallet.

And until now I'm still like that because I'm not a rich person to accumulate Bitcoin, but I'm doing other dca as alternatives to bitcoin and those are the other cryptocurrencies that I think can also give me profit in the upcoming bull run or before the halving comes here.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if Bitcoin shutdown? on: November 29, 2023, 09:53:33 PM
I am just wondering, what will happen if Bitcoin shutdown? Will the market crash? How about the effect of this to altcoins? Can government shutdown Bitcoin? I have a lot of question about this matter, because who knows, right? Also, how about hackers shutdown Bitcoin? What are your thought here? Let's discuss this.

Now you really thought about the question like that. Why did you hear that since the creation of Bitcoin, there has been a government in a country that has been able to shut down Bitcoin or hackers that have been able to shut it down? Even if you type in Google or AI, you won't find anyone who has done that.

How can you kill or destroy something if you don't control it? Go ahead and answer my question. You have a lot of questions in your mind, but have you researched properly about the matter you want to talk about here?
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I still hold the investment or sell it? on: November 29, 2023, 09:33:58 PM

First of all I'm a small bitcoin investor, and I'm not too old to invest so this is the beginning of my investment.

I have known about Bitcoin since long time ago and I have been interested in Bitcoin ever since. Slowly trying to learn about Bitcoin and interest in learning about Bitcoin introduced me to investing. At the beginning of investing in Bitcoin I felt different, I could not believe that investors invest in this crypto currency. While slowly trying to learn about investing and at some stage of trying I got a rough idea about investing and from then on I started to believe that investors really invest in this platform. It was okay for others to invest but I couldn't bring up the courage to invest myself because it seemed too risky to me. Although it seemed risky, since a curiosity was working in my mind, I took courage and decided to withdraw money from my savings account and decided to invest that money in Bitcoin.
At the time I invested in Bitcoin I clearly remember when Bitcoin was worth around $25K. To be honest, I couldn't sleep well until a few days after investing, I always felt that maybe I had invested my hard-earned savings in the wrong place. Although it was bad for a few days, I was able to adjust myself with it later. After a few days of my investment, I felt that something good must be waiting for me, because since that time the price of Bitcoin has been steadily increasing and has reached its current level.

When the price of Bitcoin reached $38K I thought I would sell my investment but I didn't sell my investment yet hoping for something better. Thinking whether to sell the investment or not I thought I should share the matter in the forum and I will get the best solution from the forum that's why I am sharing the matter in the forum whether I should hold on to my investment or sell it now.
I don't need the money anyway, if I sell my investment now I have to deposit this money in the bank again.

From what I see in you, you really see Bitcoin as a good potentiality because you have an idea and knowledge about it anyway, and you won't decide to take your savings just to buy Bitcoin. And at this point, you are not wrong.

But I noticed that you haven't determined for yourself which category you are in; I mean, you don't know or aren't sure if you are long-term or short-term holders. But based on your feelings, you are a short-term trader because you are hesitant to sell your holdings, although you obviously have a profit from what you did somehow.

But if you have higher expectations for bitcoin, you should not sell it now. Try to become more sensitive to what is happening now in the market. This is just my opinion as a Bitcoin holder.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: November 29, 2023, 09:22:08 PM
The current price of Bitcoin is something that some never expected at this closing part of November, I believe some of us especially me was expecting to see about $38-$39k or even $40k before the end of this month. But it looks like the first week of December can give us something more encouraging to investors, let me say $39k might be the start up of December or by ending of the first week of December we might be getting that $39k and above. Let's see what this month would end with, I believe it will be green throughout this week.

In times like this, such market situations will indeed happen. In fact, only the experts are the ones who benefit greatly from getting profit in terms of trading activity on every exchange platform that we will do trading activity on.

Some may not have expected this scenario, and others may have expected it. And for others, they don't care because they are long-term holders. But for me, I really expect the price value of Bitcoin to range between 40k and 50k; that's actually what I saw based on the analysis I did two weeks ago.
136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump market potential? on: November 29, 2023, 09:12:05 PM
There are some confusion that might make me a little doubtful about the development of Bitcoin prices and adoption in 2024, which we all know that we will face Halving Bitcoin as well as the ETF agreement which is the most powerful indicator in encouraging Bitcoin prices, so that many people are speculating and accused The nominal is quite fantastic in Bitcoin in the last 2 years of the current cycle.

There is a dilemma that disturbs my mind, about the wider potential of war in the region of Palestine, we witness the reactions of various countries at the end of this week in the area, and show the great power of the eastern and western blocs, which we know that America and Friends said firmly that they became a strong supporter of Israel's annexation to the Palestinian region. Conversely Russia, North Korea and neighboring Palestinians, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iran and others support Palestinian independence and are ready to be behind Palestinian troops, which all makes conflict and political tension of the power of the world's major blocks that might trigger a big war to occur if did not find a meeting point in this conflict.

From various sequences of problems and many aspects that can be associated, I become doubtful with the price development of Bitcoin which in the event of this war is enlarged, so as usual Bitcoin will experience a price decline, even though we know it is not just bitcoin that will be a victim of this conflict happen.

I do not mean to frighten or make FUD, I just want to discuss to share thoughts, but for an bitcoin intelligent investor, how do you respond to conflicts that have probability to suppress Bitcoin prices?

In the first place, why are you thinking like that? If you really believe in Bitcoin, you shouldn't think about such things. Then who is a sane person with a normal mind who wants war? We all don't want it; it's just that it can't be avoided, and let's expect that when the war happens, there will definitely be something that won't have a good economic impact.

But change Bitcoin in times like that, because we know that the difference between fiat and bitcoin is huge, and once you know that, I will believe even more that the fiat currency will be more affected because of the war compared to bitcoin, as far as I know.
137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin In Bullish or Bearish Trend? on: November 29, 2023, 09:02:22 PM
As far as I know, we can still make a profit whether the trend is bullish or bearish. Because we will know if the direction is purely upward, this is what is called bullish.

And when the flow of the direction chart graph is down, that means that we are in a bearish trend, and now this is where our skills come in to understand the use of tool indicators to determine in which direction its price value will go in the market.
138  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bullrun Strategy Discussion on: November 29, 2023, 02:43:18 PM

140  Local / Pilipinas / Re: diskusyon tungkol sa Bitcoin ETF on: November 29, 2023, 02:22:20 PM
