121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Just because some meme coin or other low Cap coin listed don't mean it's over on: March 31, 2024, 03:38:48 PM
That is the strategy of many that they've been looking for low cap coins that are cheap with a lot of supply.

Because once it pumps, they get the most of its profit and that's why many are keep on researching for those type of altcoins or meme coins for them to capitalized the start of it.

But it's not always as is with what you guys are doing, you'll never know if you've been doing it correctly until they get listed and get some pump so invest wisely.

It is true that when you time a low-cap crypto and suddenly there is a strong rally, you win for sure, and many people get rich like that. But it's rare that a coin like that in
crypto suddenly becomes like that.

That's why it's good that we carefully look for coins that have potential, even if they're still low-cap. I haven't seen anything like that, although I believe that there really
is something like that in reality.
122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't do this mistakes in trading on: March 31, 2024, 03:26:36 PM
I think trading and gambling are almost in the same circle. Greed is the biggest reason why people are facing more losses in trading. Initially when one gets profit from trading he thinks that he has got a good profit in a short period of time, then it gets in his head that he needs to profit some more money. In such a few steps he succeeds in trading. As he trades more and more hoping for more profit, he loses his money gradually. The key is to control both greed and patience to trade, otherwise if you get completely addicted to trading you will not hesitate to sell any of your valuable assets later on.

Greed can enter any individual, whether it is in trading or gambling. That means greed is everywhere; it's up to us if we allow it to enter our thoughts, which will control our personalities.
So it is up to us to decide whether we let it enter our being to control us.

But if we just let greed out of our lives, it will lose its meaning so that it can control us; instead, we can still control ourselves to fight it in reality.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman Fried (scam banker fraud) 25 years on: March 29, 2024, 08:58:46 AM
Well, in that case, I think that enough justice has been given to those who got large funds that year. Maybe even if Sam Bankman appeals, his appeal will not be able to do anything. It means that the amount of money he had didn't do anything either.

Justice really existed for the people who were victimized by SBF. I am happy for the people who were cheated and victimized by what Sam Bankman did. 25 years is quite a long time, and many things can change in that regard. Let's see and wait on that matter.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Satoshi Claim Case Update on: March 29, 2024, 08:36:38 AM
It was proven that he was not Satoshi Nakamoto in reality. And whatever the verdict is on him, he deserves it because he cheated people in the crypto or bitcoin community. What will he gain? right? fame? It seems like there is no reason in my opinion.

Also, we already know that, so let's not waste any more time on that, in fact, because no one has ever seen Satoshi Nakamoto and we don't even know if the Bitcoin creator is a real person or a fake- just made.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethena Airdrop on: March 28, 2024, 11:53:31 AM
Can you show us which parts are "full of promises"?
The beginning of the article focused on their achievements for a duration of just 6 weeks in total.

Quote
This represents the fastest USD-denominated asset to reach >$1bn supply ever in crypto. Ethena’s USDe supply is now:

>1.5x larger than the entire tokenized treasury RWA market

>3x larger than the entire onchain ETH open interest for every DEX combined

Higher than all stablecoins on Base, Blast, zkSync, Aptos and Starknet…combined.

Ethena also became the highest earning protocol in the industry in just 3 weeks, setting a new benchmark for DeFi interest rates, while growing the Reserve Fund to over $25m in a month.

Bruh that's the vesting schedule for the ENA token, not the USDe stablecoin lmao.

Yes, but at the beginning of 2025 you have Core+investors+foundaton distributions, which represent about 70% of the total distributions, while Ecosystem Development and Airdrops represent 30%, and the current one is 5%.
If the ENA token collapses, USDe will be harmed just as happened with Luna <> UST

Your explanation is good here, @Husires, and there is a point in what you said, which is that if ENA does have a problem, it will for sure pull down the stablecoin USDe, which is really true,
like what happened in UST and Luna.

Now that the date is April 2, I am not even sure if I will still be a qualifier if, for example, I can participate this day with only a few days left. Is it possible to stake or farm in Athena?
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: March 27, 2024, 11:59:54 PM
Can shiba inu ever get to $1 in the next bull run or more years to come??,  though nothing is impossible, but i don't think it can get there,
And is the project still good to invest in?

You know that when it becomes 1$, each SHIB will come out in the end; its market cap will be higher than Bitcoin, so in short, it is not attainable to happen at the moment.
I am not saying that it will not be 1$; maybe not yet.

A long time will be spent waiting when that happens; it might take a decade before that happens, or it depends on the development that will be done or happen in SHIB.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a scam on: March 27, 2024, 11:49:38 PM
Yes it's a scam, look at the growth of it's price in just a span of two years and then look how it dumps after rising in prices, you can also look at the market history of bitcoin starting from 2009 to March 2024, look at how it's a scam. Check also the people that have their lives turned upside down because they've invested in bitcoin, bitcoin is definitely a scam, there's no two ways about it. That's why I've been invested in bitcoin for a really long time too, it's because it's a scam and you can't change my mind OP, no matter how much you say that it isn't.

There are only two types of people in the world we live in, those are believers and unbelievers, negative and positive people, that's all. And that's normal for things to be balanced, right?
It's like with electricity alone, we won't have light or light if there is no positive and negative, it's that simple.

So let's be thankful because there are people who don't know anything about bitcoin, so they think it's a scam, so I think that's fine.
128  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: €2.000.000 Chipstars Casino Tournaments!! on: March 22, 2024, 09:12:17 PM
Why are you only announcing this now? Op, what date is it now? When should you have posted it here on March 8 instead? Now, you see that it seems like it will be a disadvantage because other gamblers will doubt you on this forum platform because two weeks have passed.

Think about it within 2 weeks. I hope someone has an immediate interest in what you are saying about these events at the end of this month. So you will be asked about the assurance that the amount to be won will be given.

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling BTC for Alt Coins? on: March 21, 2024, 10:29:37 AM
I have around 2.1k in btc rn and was wondering if I should sell it and invest in a couple of altcoin projects, would that be a good idea? I know Bitcoin will never ever do another 5x in the near future haha so that's kind of why I would wanna sell. The market cap of btc would have to reach a very high amount for it to be life-changing money to me.

There are many people doing that in the crypto community here in the field of the cryptocurrency industry. And I'm already one of those doing that. I'll sell some of my bitcoin, then I'll buy other altcoins or meme coins depending on what I want that I see potential in.

But if your priority is to hold bitcoin, maybe don't do it because, of course, it's better to just hold it or continue the long-term holdings for it. Instead, you only use fiat to buy crypto or altcoins called so-called.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn money (cryptocurrency) in 2024? on: March 21, 2024, 10:20:38 AM
I have been thinking about making money in cryptocurrency, but I'm hesitant to try because I don't want to get scammed i.e. didn't get any rewards for the effort I spent. I'm really curious with the current hype in 2024 and how much you've make from it? I know that scam is inevitable in altcoins, so I might be looking to earn with less risk.

What I know the current hypes in 2024 are:
1. Testnet airdrop
2. Meme coins

What about NFT or ordinals? but I think it's really risky because it's non fungible and you can't make sure people will buy your token.
What about P2E games? I haven't hear it anymore.

Probably I missed other hypes or if you know the another way of making money, feel free to comment. Wink

I kind of agree with what you said that this is op, this year I noticed that it is highly hyped right now in terms of airdrops and meme coins. In airdrops, I saw potential airdrops that are free testnets that you don't have to spend money on, but you can get something for free every 8 hours, which is called Berachain.

Now you just have to use the protocol of berachain itself using the bera that you can get from their platform https://artio.faucet.berachain.com/ in addition to this the meme coins are usually the ones that make the noise are from Solana network, and now is not the time for meme coins via sol blockchain.

132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana memecoin is trending on twitter.. on: March 20, 2024, 12:57:49 PM
Recently, there's been excitement in the Solana ecosystem, mainly due to the impressive rise of memecoins. We've seen the likes of BOME, SNAP, and today, SLERF is performing well. There have been promising announcements regarding cex adoption, with platforms like Bitget, MEXC, and OKX all joining in. SLERF has already achieved a market capitalization of 400 million in just a few hours. The hype is crazy. Are you holding any?

Yes, I noticed that too. Recently, in less than 1 week, how many meme coins have been made in the market today? And it cannot be denied that many people got carried away by the hype, and it became effective in the market.

I didn't know that right away, but the one in SNAP looks like I may still have a fight. I hope I can buy enough before it rallies again so that I can experience a good profit. And this bull run seems to be the era of meme coins right now, in my opinion.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a quick rich and get poorer investment. on: March 19, 2024, 08:31:04 AM
It is very wrong for someone to think or have a mindset that bitcoin can make one to become rich. Bitcoin don't make people to be rich because it doesn't give free money just like that. You can only earn from Bitcoin as investment just like 2very other investment.  I don't know why people always see bitcoin as what can give them lots of money that can make one to be rich just by investing.  You can only get rich by having something that generate steady flow of income.
The get-rich-quick mindset by investing in bitcoin is actually not completely wrong if you compare bitcoin with investing in gold. You can calculate the ROI of bitcoin in the last year with the ROI of gold, but of course bitcoin will not provide wealth overnight.

Imagine how much profit you will get from a $50k gold investment in early January 2023 compared to a $50k bitcoin investment, clearly bitcoin is more superior and has provided a lot of returns in just a year compared to gold. The time frame used is not overnight, a few days or a week, but of course longer, such as several months to years.

There are still many people who do not understand or know about Bitcoin, but for businessmen who understand Bitcoin, there is no doubt that they will really invest in it and hold it for a few years, depending on how much Bitcoin they will sell it for.

Maybe when they meet their main profit target, they will sell, but there are also some who, even though they have seen many people buy it, it is still not proof for them to believe. Well, it's their choice, not our loss, that's all.

136  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 15, 2024, 02:36:38 PM
Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ?  Is there chance of major correction from here as prices have already peaked now.

Why would they be fools to buy Bitcoin despite this ATH? Then the question is, how did you say that Bitcoin is ATH when we have just entered a bull run and its halving has not even been completed in the coming few months?

And most people expect that the bull run will happen after the halving, so it means that we are not yet at bitcoin's ATH or that bitcoin's ATH period has not yet ended in these instances.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is $PENG The Coolest New Memecoin on Solana? on: March 13, 2024, 10:51:18 AM
If you thought Solana was all about serious projects, think again. $PENG seems to bring the fun. Think of it as a super cute penguin with a dash of Pepe the Frog energy – a little quirky, a lot of meme potential.  This isn't just about those quick profits (though those are nice too).

$PENG seems to be about building community and injecting some fresh energy into the Solana blockchain. It's a chance to let loose, have a laugh, and maybe even catch that next big memecoin wave while it's still early.

For anyone who is new to memecoins or the Solana space, then $PENG is a great place to start. It's easy to get involved, the vibe is still warming up and who knows, you might just end up with a bag full of $PENG and some hilarious stories to tell.
So, do you think about joining this cool penguin party on Solana?

Well, that's your choice. For me, I don't like the meme coin you're talking about. I prefer the meme coins that have a low price, but at least the volume in the market is good.
But that's the expensive price, and then the volume doesn't seem to fit the price.

I would prefer Floki, Shib, Pepe, Caw, and Bonk to what you mentioned, but I respect your choice because you believe that you can get a good profit there.
138  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need help. I GOT PHISHED FOR 9K ON STAKE.COM on: March 13, 2024, 10:41:34 AM
Just the other day, I read that you made a topic saying that the stakes are scammers for you because of what happened to you. while you made a topic here on this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php? topic=5488639.0, and now that your account was phished, I think the stakes have nothing to do with that.

Instead, the fault lies with you because you clicked on a link that was given or sent to you without knowing that the risk was already there in those instances.
That's why he fell into the hacker's trap.
139  Other / Off-topic / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: March 11, 2024, 05:11:49 PM
👉👉when you are in need of money urgently

This is the time that you should really be stopping yourself on trying out to play on gambling on the time that you are really that needing up some money.
Making gambling as your main source of income or money making? You are really just that taking up a suicide decision on which this is something
that we must avoid as much as we could.

Gamble for fun and if you are on such conditions like being stressed, or hurry in needing money then this is the best time to skip out.
You are playing in desperate conditions and not for leisure and with this then this is actually the moments on where you are really that
too emotional which would really be resulting on such being impulsive.

Gambling should be for fun; it is not right to consider gambling a job. Instead of getting a fixed income from gambling that they expect to happen, they will spend even
more because gamblers are usually losers.

That's why we must be responsible for every decision we make. It's really a big mistake to think of or consider gambling as a job, because even an employee's job is not a game.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: March 11, 2024, 04:51:23 PM
Yes I have heard of 1% of weekly income before but I still go for 5% which is not what I can not afford to just lose. But it would be good if someone can go lower like 1%.

There are some weekend that I would win more and leave the rest for the following week or use it for something fun like beer. But there are sometimes that I will lose too. There are many times I just did not go more than 2% weekly because I am busy and unable to gamble more.

Going for just 1% is good. The lesser you go, the better you will be able to afford the loss.

Yeah, 5%, I think, is fine with me because, for example, if the salary of an ordinary person is around $300, then only 1% will come out. Here in our country, the salary of ordinary people in a company only ranges from around 300 to 400 dollars per month.

But in my situation, I only have a limit amount when I gamble in a casino, and it's only around 30 dollars per game. This amount is what I'm willing to lose the day I play gambling, and if I win, it's good luck.
