Neuronium seemed versatile project that involves diverse interests. It will be very interesting to observe the implementation of the project, because the developers have set themselves a very universal tasks that need to be developed, I would love to participate!

How is the sales going on? Any further announcements on the investment raised? I would love to hear the softcap reached news soon.

Right now, they are in the private sale phase and they raised $1.1 million so far and the main sale will start on May 1st. Their softcap is 15 million USD, so it's still a pretty long way ahead.

That really is a very ambitious goal. What happens if they don't achieve it (which we have to assume)?
Do they start the project a little smaller, or do they pay back the investments and give up?

I read a lot about the testnet and its impressive performance. Is it already know when their mainnet will be released? Will it already be this year?

here is the roadmap for 2019. there is nothing about a Mainnet yet, but they want to have over 4000 nodes running in the 2nd half of the year.

Quote
1Q 2019 Public testnet v2 release (fully permissionless, out of ETH testnet)
Add more smart policies beyond basic policies

Deploy system to COVA protocol partners for various projects

2Q 2019
Start work on scaling of Covalent TEE network layer

Start recruiting compute nodes at scale

2H 2019
Collectively surpass computing power of the most powerful supercomputer on the planet (4000+ compute nodes)

Sharding and expand routing nodes for further scaling (i.e. support dataset and compute node provision at scale)

It goes wild on the Internet. And internet users most times don’t know their personal data is stored and used without their consent. Covalent protocol could be a solution to these privacy issues.

The issue is quite deep and bigger than any of us, brands are ripping off our data and every app is by one way or the other trying to have access to our privacy, you get to see apps now requesting to have access to our gallery and much more, so i believe Cova has so much holes to fill, to help eradicate the incessant issues of data been stolen and much more

You are right, there are so many areas in which our data are queried. Cova has a lot to do here. I haven't thought about the apps yet, so far I only thought about filling out forms on the internet:-) But our data and pictures come from so many different sources that you can easily lose track of them.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Neuroneum - Advance Cloud Computing and Crypto Mining Technology on: January 19, 2019, 11:08:15 PM
Is it so damn common to have your own card right now? It seems that every project out there is releasing their own crypto currency card now ...

True. But question is who is going to come out first and be stable without scamming people.

frankly, the card is secondary to me. I'm rather curious about how cloud mining works. The approach sounds very interesting, but I have no idea whether it will work in the implementation.
But there are other projects in which computing power is shared, so why shouldn't it also work with mining?
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 📢🔥[ANN]NEURONEUM - Best In Decentralized Cloud Computing & Crypto-Mining🔥📢 on: January 19, 2019, 11:03:05 PM
I see Neuroneum offers crypto holders a Neuralink Card to make spending your assets easy. Seems it doesn’t take much to design a card, bc most projects already got a debit card. What makes Neuroneum Card different?

Yes. Most projects promises a debit card that makes its easy to spend your assets, but Neuroneum could be one of the first projects to have a working card.

I see you mentioned it as working card. Is this already available for users? Looking forward for more details.

the whole Neuroneum project will only start in the course of the year, so there is no credit card yet.
And like many others here I am curious if this will work with the card at all. I've read about so many crypto credit cards but still haven't seen any in real life.

I noticed for a while now Cova haven’t posted any updates on their twitter page. It’s advisable for the team to do something about it. Twitter is a good medium to reach out to a large audience.

They posted something today. About a meeting with leaders from other blockchain projects. They would be talking on certain topics

Yes, their co-founder will be part of a panel discussion about "application scenarios of Blockchain in game field". I am wondering how Cova can be used in the gaming field.
I think it could be quite effective for in game payments since it would ensure the privacy of its users. Other than that I think they would fit perfectly for game platforms like steam and the likes.

That's true. I didn't think of in-game payments. This could indeed be a good use case for Cova. But nevertheless, it would be nice to get a summary from the team from that panel discussion.

I personally don't see how they can serve as in-game payment token because cova's goal is far from that except I don't fully understand what they are into

No that's not what I meant. COVA isn't supposed to be a payment token at all. They want to introduce smart data. For example one-time-use credit card numbers (which could then be used for in-game-payments).

and what money goes on the one time credit card? Fiat or crypto currencies? Covatoken or others?
do i have to load the credit card on the Covaplattform?
maybe it is already too late today, but somehow i don't understand this system

In which currency is the income credited to the account? If I pay with the Neuroneum debit credit card, it will probably be a large crypto currency. Or can I choose?

gute und super news von binance:

Quote
We are delighted to officially launch the Binance GBP and EUR Fiat Exchange: www.binance.je

Trading in BTC/GBP, ETH/GBP, BTC/EUR and ETH/EUR has now opened on Binance.je. Binance.je bridges the crypto-fiat channel, providing secure and reliable trading of the Euro (EUR) and British Pound (GBP) with Bitcoin and Ethereum.

https://support.binance.je/hc/en-us/articles/360022032111

the WavesX site is still online, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR WAVES SEED ON THERE!
this will be another drama in the next days

What is happening to COVA? I know the markets have been bearish over the last week but the $COVA 24-hour trading volume has really dropped off. On 06/01 there was nearly $1m trading volume, now there is less than $100k!? I hope we can see more positive trading sentiment over the next month or so.

I just noticed it too. Maybe some people after buying are really keeping their cova now? It's really a big drop on volumes but let's hope that it will going to go back soon.

I'm just glad the price's staying reasonably stable. So shortly after the start I experienced quite different things.
I am not worried about the low trading volume, as long as the price does not fall:-)

I think there was a trading competition shortly after the listing. (but I'm not quite sure) if there was a competition, it's obvious that the trading volume is not as high anymore.

The Bittwatt energy trading platform has been online for a few weeks now, but somehow the token has only gone down ever since. Can anybody explain that?

It's not so much being in debt it's just losses escalate faster, so say you have a 10$ that you leverage 10:1 that means you can buy 100$ worth of something, but if the market moves against you loses are 10:1 as well, so you'll get a margin call once you can't cover the principal is how i understand it to work. The thing is it works the other way too so gains are also seen as 10:1 in my example

Is it possible that you accidentally posted this posting in the wrong thread? :-)
At least I can't see any connection with Cova.

No, it's no accident at all  Smiley, he is explaining the concept of margin trade as COVA has been announced to be eligible for margin trade on the Bitmax exchange and somebody wanted to understand how margin trade works. His explanation is actually superb!  Smiley

I guess I overlooked the question on that one. Without quote this was not to be assigned for me. But thank you for the explanation

I just found out COVA tokens could be mined much more easily on the mainnet as long as you have a computer with Inter CPU, you can join the network and mine COVA.

Yeah, but that'll be only possible when the CovaChain mainnet goes live. Right now COVA only has tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and these can't be mined.

The launching of Covalent mainnet would make a lot of difference. We could mine these tokens and make profits. Btw would cova tokens be moved from ether chain to cova. ?

I think there was a discussion recently, but I forgot the result:-)
Some say there will be two tokens, others say there will be a swap and then only one token.  I am also of the opinion that there will be a swap.

Yeah, I've heard about that, too, and I'm looking forward to it. I will certainly mine cova as well. But what do you mean by Inter CPU? I have never heard this term before
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵🔵🔵[ANN] Covalent.ai – A Smart Policy Platform 🔵🔵🔵 on: January 10, 2019, 07:55:34 PM

really, I didn't know that so many developers switched from ETH to TRON. Maybe something similar will happen with Cova. But I think ETH still has enough developers in the team:-)

Yeah, there's a popular blockchain game called Tron Goo (previously Ether Goo) that has moved from ETH to Tron as it's apparently more developer-friendly. Lots of projects will follow suit.

I didn't even know that yet, and I had to figure it out right away. It's all about cats again, I wonder why they always have to be cats. Can anyone still remember the Cryptokitties? The good old days, when ETH was worth a little more than today:-)

I know for sure that China is currently observing their national holiday this month of January
Did that also affects Cova operations?

This is a very smart question, I don't know for a fact if it will affect operations, but thinking like every entrepreneur should, I don't think any celebration should affect any ongoing project especially long holidays like that of the Chinese

Actually they haven't been quite active recently which tells a lot
I really want to know the current update as against whats obtained now

Yeah, they've been very quiet the last two weeks. Probably all of them had Christmas holidays:-)
But they are back and posted the new bi-weekly update yesterday:

Snip

I thought they have rounded up with their airdrop campaign and tokens were distributed already. There is still opportunity to gain some Cova tokens.please can you share the link so i can participate

Best way to get COVA tokens is now by trading them on an exchange since there is no Airdrop running atm. They are listed both on Huobi and Bitmax.
[/quote]

And the price is a little low at the moment, but quite stable. I think if you have confidence in this project, you should buy tokens soon, in a few years they could really be worth a lot more...

I know the article is almost a month old, but maybe some of the new interested ones don't know yet that Cova is open source.
I'm also wondering if there are any programmers here who have looked at the source code in more detail.

https://medium.com/@covatoken/open-sourcing-cova-protocol-da7132360de

Yeah, I read this article when they published it. However, I have no experience in programming at all so I can't really contribute to the project but the example of Ethereum shows that open source works. Last year Ethereum was in the top 5 of the fastest growing open source projects on Github.

I believe TRON is also open source and they have really been making shockwaves as lots of ETH developers have switched over to the TRON blockchain. It's going to be interesting watching how the blockchain universe progresses in the future. I think EOS will also have a resurgence in the future as well, lots of good projects kicking around at the moment.

really, I didn't know that so many developers switched from ETH to TRON. Maybe something similar will happen with Cova. But I think ETH still has enough developers in the team:-)
