Is this a legit project?

John McAfee?

The use-case seems very good though, I see a lot of opportunity here - and definitely something I would use.

The use case isn't just good, it's impeccable, tokenization and digitization of labour resources. That's a new terrain, and the asset would outperform its contemporaries.

Is this on eth blockchain?

Yes, but they have plans down the road to build their own blockchain.
That's one of Latium's goal..

It's one reason am completed vested in Latium, they have a clear cut short and long term goals.

Prompt to participate in ICO can use Coinbase, or only Myetherwallet?
It's highly advisable to use wallet you have the private keys to it.

Yes, to participate in this token sale you need to use Ethereum wallet compatible with ERC-20 tokens. Don't use exchanges wallets.

Using exchange wallet might be risky, just stick to the simple.

Coinbase does not support the standard ERC-20. You need any Ethereum wallet compatible with ERC-20 tokens.
I do not understand what's the problem of creating a purse? Everything is very simple there. If there are any specific difficulties, there are many instructions on the Internet.

Keep it real simple, use the best platform that supports ERC-20 functionalities.

Latium CEO David Johnson comments on CME Group Bitcoin futures announcement https://www.forbes.com/sites/cbovaird/2017/11/01/bitcoin-reaches-new-high-after-futures-announcement/#5f06cb1b1555

David Johnson, CEO of Latium, a tasking platform that pays its users in cryptocurrency, spoke to how these financial instruments could make it easier for companies to accept Bitcoin as payment.

"The CME announcement opens the door to using Bitcoin as a true tender. Bitcoin futures provide the required infrastructure for any business to participate in the Bitcoin phenomenon while mitigating market risk. The ability to hedge market risk is a requirement for any business looking to accept payment in a non-native currency."

It's a well written article. Beyond just providing a platorm for freelance task services, Latium is championing the adoption of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Indeed Latium is providing a unique use case for cryptocurrency and paving the way for rapid blockchain adoption in mirror sectors down the stream.

Also David Johnson discussed the BTC futures announcement on Business Insider!

http://www.businessinsider.com/bitcoin-future-explained

"The CME announcement provides the first step in legitimizing the ever-growing crypto space as a true financial asset," Dave Johnson, the CEO of Latium, a cryptocurrency technology company, told Business Insider. "For market makers this presents access from a known and trusted party into a $94 billion marketplace."

Forbes and Business Insider in one day? Not bad I should say!

'A $94 billion marketplace', is quite the catch. Latium has reeled in a virtual space whale.

So no app available yet, right? Any open code we can see?

Kate out of curiosity, can you explain this 'Please, note, if max cap is not raised, the amount of tokens for BTT bounty will be amount_sold/157,839,279*3,000,000=total bounty reward'. Am a little confused with the calculations. - I quoted it from the bounty thread.

Right. What exactly do you confuse with? Could you explain, please? Smiley

Does it mean that the amount of tokens issued to bitcointalk bounties will reduce if max cap not reached? And how did the dev team come up with the 157,839,279 value for the calculations.

157,839,279  is the number of tokens for sale during the upcoming sale.

Thanks for the explanation now. I understand it better, I think this is the reason why we need more hands on deck so that beneficiaries cutting across all bounty schedule would profit more.

Is the application available for beta testing?
Not yet, check out their roadmap in white paper

I think from the road map the beta version of the app will be due 1st quarter of 2018.

No not yet. For the open code, if there's one, that would give a positive outlook on the dev team. Am also interested in viewing a demo version.

Latium community once launched has the ability to grow at the of 100x, chiefly because of its referral program. I mean, who doesn't want to make an extra bucks.

Do you guys have a password recovery function if someone forgot registration password?

Once the functions are added will it also apply to those who registered earlier?

Sorry guys, mixed up bounty and ann thread and accidentally asked that question in bounty thread. Noone replied me there. Soo, I think you need more advisors. Mcaffee is a huge plus, but probably someone from the legal side or something. What do you think about it?

Hello! Yes we are working on this. Thinking about adding more advisors to the team.
Right, thanks! Was just a suggestion

Thank you, we appreciate any feedback!
Another one: don't forget to add the roadmap on the website - it will help to understand timeline better!
You beat me to the punch. Was just about to say the same thing lol
I wonder how long it will take you guy to do that.I just hope the team remembers

The team must have their hands full, and are working at best to ensure the success of the Latx Project. However, continuous observations like yours can serve as a reminder to them.

Continuing reviewing white paper. Not entirely clear the user's reputation will depend only on the activity on the platform itself. Or will it take into account external sources?
As far as I understood, they will use AI. May be mistaken, not a native speaker Smiley
Think it's going to be platform based activities. Wouldn't be fair if someone's trying to turn over a new leaf and have their past dragged onto the platform.

How so? Since it is a decentralised system, how can a person's past be dragged into the platform, since profile management is automated by AI and has no prejudice function inbuilt into its algorithm.

Have good luck with your new project, i become a member and will work for you as much as i can..
That's the spirit, hard work pays 😊
Indeed it does. and with Latx, transparency will sure attract people to the community, as a smart contract will enforce what human contracts fail at.

I agree, but i think for this project to succeed and achieve its market cap, a strong legal construct must be obtained to diffuse issues with FUD.

Where is the team located?

Management team in in USA
Got it, thank you. Saw many Russian developers in the team thats why asked.

Yes, the team is international Smiley
Yes, more and more opportunities to work remotely! Latium will add many as well very soon. Good luck, guys!
Not a bad idea, if everything turns out that the Internet will receive another effective platform for earning, which, among other things, will attract new people to the world of crypto currency.
And the ability to work remotely provides a unique platform for market penetration without those exorbitant costs and overhead

Working remotely is one of the perks, the decentralized system eliminates middle men traffic, as highlighted by those exorbitant rates and overheads.
