121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 on: December 30, 2017, 03:05:17 PM
Which alt coins are below $1 value that gonna turn in $10 next year.

Need your best suggestion

CARDANO!

It's the new generation of blockchain, it already got on the 6th place on coinmarketcap, 2018 it's just going to be a big year for it. Wait and see!
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: December 30, 2017, 03:04:05 PM
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? Grin

They saw an oportunity to get rich by scamming others... you gotta hate this kind of people, they consume so much energy for what? when they could use their time do actually do something good for the community..
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about Stellar (XLM)? on: December 29, 2017, 08:55:12 AM
Stellar has increased dramatically and currently ranks 13th on coinmarketcap, its current price is only $ 0.2.
In the top 15 only XLM and NEM are priced less than 1$
Do you think stellar will rise to 1$ by 2018?

I think newcomers to the crypto world will jump on one of these coins just because they are cheap, thinking they will rise and will be worth a lot and they will ignore the quantity of it. But, overall, the projects are good and have potential. You won't lose money if you invest in them.
124  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor or Ledger? on: December 29, 2017, 08:43:38 AM
Which hardware wallet to choose? What wallet have you got? Which one is secure? What altcoins can be allocated there?

To be honest, I just put a .TXT document on a stick and that's it. Hide that somewhere, put a password to the .TXT document and wait. I doubt people will be able to hack me this way and it's similar to a Ledger or Trezor.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XVG ? on: December 29, 2017, 08:36:03 AM
Im wondering if XVG is worth a buy? I heard of it from John McAfee, but havent done my DD yet.. so I thought I'd ask to see if anyone else already has.

What do you know about XVG, or are your thoughts on XVG?

Any and all info is appreciated

The price of XVG is way too high now. The waters are calm now, but for sure it will be followed by some more dips. The Crypto world went through a bull run and now things are settling down. Consider buying after the price goes down a little bit more.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ROI for 2018 : NEO and OmiseGO on: December 28, 2017, 03:00:34 PM
Hello,

Here are two big competitors for 2018.

NEO
"Known as Antshares, NEO is a recent iteration on Ethereum’s smart contracts. NEO uses a unique blockchain algorithm that improves upon Ethereum’s model. While the basics still apply, it also supports decentralized commerce, identification and digitization of several assets. NEO also closes loopholes that have caused some Ether contracts to be vulnerable to hackers."
Read more: Why China's New Ethereum "NEO" is the Next Big Thing | Investopedia https://www.investopedia.com/news/china-new-ethereum-neo/
Best source of information stays : https://neo.org

OmiseGO (OMG)
"Built on the Ethereum platform, OmiseGO’s vision is to become the number one, peer-to-peer cryptocurrency exchange platform. OmiseGO is much more than an altcoin. It’s designed to be a financial platform, with the intent of disrupting current financial institutions and methodologies. It’s all built on top of Ethereum, one of the most popular decentralized application platforms on the market today."
Source : https://www.finder.com.au/omisego
OMG is also known for having REAL advisor like Vitalik Buterin (Ethereum founder) and Joseph Poon (Lightning Network). Both working on last "Plasma: Scalable Autonomous Smart Contracts" and OMG could be the first serious project to use it at it full potential.

What do you think about it ?? Best ROI for 2018 or not ?

Well, those two coins totally went by me. I got into crypto not long ago. The end of 2018 will have to be remarkable for me. I invested in some coins that just came out, I look forward to see if at the end of 2018 I will have a "NEO" and an "OmiseGo" in my list. Smiley
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I find a good altcoin? on: December 28, 2017, 02:58:16 PM
Use ICObench if you want to invest during the pre-ICO or ICO phase, there are some really good ones with great return potential.
Or, you could simply watch some YouTuber which are trust worthy (I recommend DataDash) which recommends different types of coins.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cardano replace Ethereum? on: December 28, 2017, 02:52:45 PM
Do you think the price of Cardano is ok?

I think the price of Cardano is much too high. What do you think?

I think most of the features are still in development. The coins are listed only on some exchanges.

The quantum resisdent algorithm is not realy strong compared to the QRL chain.

What else any secret?

I think Cardano is just at the beginning of it's journey. It has a lot of potential to overcome Ethereum and this goes for pretty much any new ICO from the 3rd Generation.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee pumps Electroneum (ETN) on: December 28, 2017, 02:42:44 PM
I find it really strange John McAfee knew about Electroneum. From his own words, "Electroneum - the first of my daily coin reports" sounds pretty "paid" to me. Why else would he all of a sudden pick Electroneum out of the masses of coins days after he picked Verge to pump? I think this was part of the extremely talented marketing team behind Electroneum. They are phenomenal at marketing to the masses due to Electroneum having a very high supporter base. Also, their whole team is very experienced in marketing as appeared on their official Electroneum team page. https://cryptocolumn.com/john-mcafee-electroneum-talks/
So that's why Electroneum went from 0.05 to almost 0.1 in no time. I wanted to buy myself but I though it will go down a little more. Well, I was wrong! This guys messed up with my plans.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins to Watch in 2018 on: December 28, 2017, 01:44:59 PM

Some will pick up soon, some in a few months, but sooner or later it will generate some good profits. Smiley
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: December 28, 2017, 01:44:01 PM
Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

Well, the ICOs have been blamed ever since they started to become mainstream in the crypto world. I think the ICOs offer great opportunities. Look at PowerLedger, look at Cardano, those are strong projects, and as long as you know how to make the difference, then you are on the right track and the ICOs offer great opportunities for both businesses and investors.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of a new year on market? on: December 28, 2017, 01:42:11 PM
What do you guys think the new year will bring us? Massive price drops or maybe prices going up? Or maybe nothing at all? Please share your expectations with me

Considering what happened in the past, it doesn't have much of an impact, maybe the coins go down a little but that's it. Bitcoin had a nice rally in the past weeks, so this might be just a period when it's stabilising.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Totally Anonymous Cryptocurrencies on: December 28, 2017, 01:37:37 PM
I found 5 Totally Anonymous Cryptocurrencies. These are

1. Monero (XMR)
2. Zcash (ZEC)
3. Bytecoin (BCN)
4. VERGE (XVG)
5. VERGE (XVG)

If anyone have any opinion please share here.

You can check out Innova as well. They allow you to cloak the coins and this way the payments become untrackable. But once cloaked, they will stay like this forever. I think it's a great idea.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EMO token - What is it? on: December 23, 2017, 12:50:20 PM
I just received some EMO tokens on my ether account. Maybe it is coming from an airdrop, although I don't remember to have joined it...I searched on bitcointalk and haven't found something about it yet. Do you know what this token is?

EMO, this name sounds weird, it's like a name for those punks that were listenning to Green Day during High School. Smiley
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [poll] How long until recovery? on: December 22, 2017, 09:25:57 PM
You ask us to vote but there is no poll. Ironic Tongue
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And the Bloodbath continues.... on: December 22, 2017, 09:19:14 PM
Reminds me of the giant stock selloff during the fall of 2008...Do you think that most of the selloff is done by small/inexperienced investors or from whales?
How long can it go>

If there is a whale selling and people sense fear, they will sell too. So my educated guess would say both. The market grew a lot in the past weeks and it was natural for the price to go down a bit, it's healty for the growth of the coins. I'd say this is just a passing phenomen. The coins will continue to grow no matter what the "whales" are doing. This is the future we are talking about guys!
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM vs ETH on: December 22, 2017, 09:12:07 PM
I believe that upcoming catapult update will change everything and NEM, a truly fantastic and cheap cryptocurrency with a unique and progressive proof of importance concept will challenge ETH at it's own game and replace the damned Buterin's $hit coin, which only old grannies with their cryptokitties find useful

ETH hater here? Let's not forget that both tehnologies are widely adopted. No matter how good NEM will get Ethereum will be there, and Buterin's idea helped TONS of projects to get on their feet. You can't deny that!
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 7000$ to invest for 2018 on: December 22, 2017, 09:08:15 PM
I have 7k$ to invest for 2018, I'm looking for the next big potential (as everyone I believe Cheesy).
Need your best suggestions !

I looking for POWR and ARK, but maybe you have a better opportunities ?

You kinda "missed" the first POWR "tour de force". I suggest to invest those $7 000 in several altcoins not just one coin.
POWR, ADA, Vertcoin, Walton, Wabi, Lisk, Litecoin and many others could bring you great profit. Diversify as much as you can and do your research.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [poll] How long until recovery? on: December 22, 2017, 08:53:17 PM
Please vote how long you would say it will take for the markets to stabilise.
I personally say 3 weeks before they are to the level of yesterday.

I think it's gonna take around 2-3 months to start going up again like mad. That's usually what happened after August-Sept rise.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i trust EtherDelta with my Private Keys ? on: December 22, 2017, 08:43:00 PM
Hello,

I wanted to try etherdelta to trade my tokens.

Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?
I wouldn't trust anything/anyone with my private keys. I'd recommend making a new address which you temporarly use for trading on Etherdelta. It's safer this way.
