121  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why support TRUMP on: October 08, 2020, 05:59:22 PM
Speaking as a non-American who is not that close to the everyday issues US citizens face aside from what my US friends tell me and the things I learn as I try to stay informed, I have to say that your president is a joke. There's no respect for Trump overseas and every time he opens his mouth and speaks I expect a laugh track to follow, like on your American tv sitcoms, because the things he says are ludicrous. And his absolute disregard for human life, any human life besides his own, is a very telling example of what kind of a person he is. Politicians are at the very least expected to pretend to care about citizens' problems, Trump can't even fake that, so it's quite surprising that he has managed to fool that many people into voting for him. Even now and after multiple failures to handle multiple situations during his presidency, his polling numbers are not as low as they would be in other countries.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest problem Now with currencies on: October 08, 2020, 05:48:41 PM
The third world countries such us kyrksitan is that the currencies has no value.
So You Can't Even Exchange them to other currencies... What They do about it?

Its Not spoken problem much but its a problem
With respect, if you're going to pretend to care about this issue I implore you to at least spell Kyrgyzstan the correct way. And their currency is Som, by the way  Wink
Also, that's one reason people from countries with failing economies don't keep their money in those countries' currencies.
123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 75 crypto exchanges have closed down so far in 2020 on: October 08, 2020, 05:35:23 PM
That's a staggering number of exchanges and altcoins that have stopped functioning but it can be explained because, aside from the scams, people who set out to create them usually don't anticipate how difficult it is to keep them alive. It takes not only a lot of time and quite a lot of money but there must also be a good idea behind the product you're trying to create or the service (because they're all products or services) since we're not in the early stages of crypto where there were like 10 exchanges and 200 cryptocurrencies. The competition is fierce now and people who want to create something in this field should be prepared for it.
124  Other / Meta / Re: Duplicate of Bitcointalk on: October 06, 2020, 05:47:00 PM
So, is it a phishing site or are they trying to replicate the success of bitcointalk? I wouldn't trust it at all and I hope people don't get tricked and try to log in using the same username and pass they use for bitcointalk.
125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto Scams & Our Roles. on: October 06, 2020, 05:33:48 PM
The way I see it, everyone, especially beginners, could stand to be a little more careful and dare I say suspicious of any offers out there. Even more so when there's an offer where you can't see the way with which the person making said offer can gain anything from it. Most people didn't get into the crypto world to help others, we have seen evidence of this time and time again. The problem is that beginners haven't seen it yet so they are more susceptible to a scam offer.
126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk or Cryptotalk? What is the best forum for a beginner? on: October 06, 2020, 05:19:59 PM
Here's an idea, why not both? I'm not a beginner in crypto anymore but when I was, I used to check all sorts of forums and websites to better educate myself and to see if there were chances to earn some crypto (and yes, I'm not ashamed to admit that part). I'm not a member on Cryptotalk but I'm a member on bitcointalk and I wouldn't advise any beginner to just stick to one forum. See what's out there, get info, and most of all, figure out what works for you and what doesn't because we're not all the same and we don't have the same ideas or the same goals in life.
127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All Christian Countries Got Fucked! on: October 06, 2020, 05:12:02 PM
All Christian Countries Got Fucked!

All Christian Countries Got Fucked! Why, because all the muslim countries now helping Azerbaijan against Armenia but the Christian Countries including UK are now sleeping.
I fail to see how what's happening between these two countries affects any country where christianity is a dominant religion. Perhaps you could elaborate. As I see it, those who got fucked, as usual, are the non-combatant people of the region where the attacks took place.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: October 06, 2020, 05:01:15 PM
I think there's a lot to consider and take into account before arriving at the conclusion that this robot can adequately substitute human labor. It's possible that in the future it will be able to but what I surmise from this ad is that it can work together with humans, not on its own. Let's not forget that people have been saying that machines will be able to replace humans for decades, and granted, in some jobs they have, but I think that in this case it's not that easy, especially when you have to deal with the jobs mentioned.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: May 16, 2020, 04:02:42 PM
Apparently due to Quarantine , people are getting jobless ,but then again pause for a minute.
Some well established institutions are able to provide the financial support and they are shifting the jobs online . One should understand that, this is something that only some well off members of the society are enjoying. Unfortunately the people with small jobs are now deemed insignificant and they are sitting at home and hoping for it to end soon ..
This is making the economic gap between the two sections only wider .
Quarantine was not done properly , it is not the solution. People will soon starve and won't be able to pay of bills . With the loans from colleges and schools , kids will be deprived of a good future.
Soon enough if the Quarantine does not end , Corona virus won't kill us , but the economic situation will . Therefore I urge all of you to stay home and practice good hygiene. So that we are able to control the breaking economic crisis which is bigger than the Corona virus.
What are your thoughts ? Please feel free to share.
First of all, not every country has quarantined the same way (some countries didn't even quarantine at all). Therefore, we can't say that it wasn't done properly. Every country applied a different protocol. Second, you can't earn a living if you're dead, which is why quarantine is essential. Most countries don't have the health system to support multiple gravely ill people at the same time, which is where the quarantine comes in. No one says it's ideal but it's what you do when you're forced between amputating your hand so the whole body doesn't die. Mostly no one is enjoying this.

This is a worldwide crisis with multiple side effects. There are no magical solutions, just solutions that will help people face the future alive. This is about choosing the lesser of two evils and learning to live with that.
130  Other / Meta / Re: Stopping Bounties To Rank Up In Btctalk on: May 14, 2020, 07:54:29 PM
I think ranking up just for the sole purpose of ranking up should be discouraged in general. A lot of bad posting comes from that. You can focus on being a more productive member of the forum community which is something that people should strive to do. And even if you take up bounties, I can't believe that having a certain posting quota to meet should immediately make one a bad poster. If someone chooses to give a little more thought and time to their posts, they can find something nice to write.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ONION] DeepOnion ✅ Your Privacy Coin with Real Use Case ✅ Show me ONION News! on: March 04, 2020, 12:56:27 AM
I feel a more reputable exchnge should be in our sights now, not binance since their requirements are a little over the top , plus we need a lot of daily volume and prone to delisting projects.
May i suggest bittrex maybe? Just a thought.
Maybe Bittrex is a good idea but I don't think now's the time. The team need to make sure that by giving any exchange a listing fee they won't give up more Onions than they have to and that's dependent on the price. Since exchanges only give a temporary boost in the price of any coin, I don't think this is the right time to pay a big fee.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ ✅ [ANN] Helios Protocol - Parallel blockchain smart contract platform ✅ ✅ on: February 22, 2020, 12:45:29 AM
It's great to see the community of Helios Protocol expanding. I always try to find projects where the team members try to make their community active and mobilize them to make the project popular. I think that the fact that we're all here in the crypto world means that we shouldn't only be using conventional means of promotion, an ad might give you visibility but hearing about a project from another person when that person seems passionate about it is important.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Helios Protocol smart contract, decentralised web platform launches testnet on: January 13, 2020, 09:40:55 PM
The parallel blockchain idea and smart contracts handling looks very interesting. However I still think that real adoption will be what will make a crypto project a real winner. What are the plans of Helios to increase adoption?
I believe that creating certain features such as smart contracts and the dApp incubator among others will contribute to the adoption of this coin and make it more attractive to investors. Obviously, it's crucial to make sure that people know that such a coin exists (even inside the crypto world, it's easy for coins to not get the attention they deserve because there are too many of them) so promotion is important. Helios could become the next Ethereum and serve its users even better if it stays true to its purpose and is marketed right. Every single top 20 coin started out small.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN] DeepOnion ONION ✅ DeepOnion DeepSend Released ✅ Show me the DeepOnion! ✅ on: January 13, 2020, 08:58:24 PM
Another great Sunday for a VoteCentral airdrop. Thanks to everyone who works on the tasks! Enjoy the coins, well deserved!
That's great. We should also come up with a way to invite more people to participate in VoteCentral.

@MisterLG project is back
you can see below more details about it

"It has been a while ago but I am sure you all remember the Physical Deeponion coin project I launched on kickstarter with the help of the community back in 2018. Many people supported the project and as a result to this the 1250 coins bought were shipped to over 45 countries across the world! Thousands of people saw these beauties which made me very proud!"
You can read more at
https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-physical-coin-kickstarter-relaunched-your-help-is-needed.43304/ (DeepOnion Physical Coin Kickstarter Relaunched - Your Help Is Needed)
I was one of the people who had bought some of the first coins. They look really good and I still have them.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN] DeepOnion ONION ✅ DeepOnion DeepSend Released ✅ Show me the DeepOnion! ✅ on: December 28, 2019, 12:31:02 AM
I managed to snap up another 6000 onions at these cheap levels.
I have also noticed a few deepsend rewards come in as well. Great to see it working as well.
This is really the best time to buy a lot of coins. Certainly DeepOnion. Lots of people will miss it and will be lamenting that fact later.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 13, 2019, 12:07:05 AM
I think most of us agree more or less that every altcoin that's actually worth anything is currently undervalued by 80%-90%. What's worrying is that under the current circumstances, a lot of new interesting projects are unable to flourish because we've been in a bear market too long and people are afraid to invest, while during the bull market, a lot of shit coins managed to do just fine (until they collapsed and disappeared, of course, but people gained money before that happened and then dumped on unsuspected people).

That's why I'm always on the lookout for new interesting projects, it helps to inform people if there's something worth checking out. Even in 2017 where there were literally thousands of scams, I did find a few gems thanks to getting information from the right people and spreading information in return.

Now, as we are nearing the end of 2019, I found a relatively new project called Helios which seems like a diamond in the rough. It's a scalable decentralized blockchain protocol with smart contracts and a decentralized web platform that has been planned for the future. It is self-funded, there's no ICO or anything of the sort. Their website is https://heliosprotocol.io

As this project is in the process of developing and growing, it would help to spread awareness. The team has invited anyone who would want to help spread the word to sign up to the Helios Army (which might sound aggressive as a name but it's actually comprised of people who care about the project and want to see it thrive). People who sign up can even be reimbursed for the time they invest in it with Helios' own coin, HLS. The link is here https://heliosprotocol.io/public_airdrops/helios_army.php

After DeepSend is released maybe more people will join VoteCentral to make easy tasks and earn ONIONs!
***
That's right. And, apparently, it will be necessary to increase the size of the two-week bounty. Isn't it?  Grin
Not necessarily. If the price rises, more people will find it profitable to join. There's not just a single way of increasing interest.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN] DeepOnion ONION New Private Currency ✅ DeepSend Release Date 13 Dec 2019✅ on: December 03, 2019, 06:48:09 PM
Hey guys! How much $ONION will you buy until DeepSend comes out?

There are some nice buy orders on Kucoin and the price and volumes are increasing every day, so I guess the price will pump after the DeepSend release.
That's the way it should be. DeepSend is a long-awaited feature, people should be excited about it and buy more Onions.

Hi team another great feature is coming soon Smiley

DeepOnion team member @obszoenling made for the community new feature so people can quickly sync with wallets and here shared with you the news:

Amazing new unique feature can be named

Secure DeepOnion Quick Sync over the Tor network
Hi all,
here is a little sneak peek for the community: Downloading and configuration the latest blockchain snapshot over tor. @obszoenling

sneak peek for the community

Great to see installation tasks being streamlined and simplified.  Smiley
More people should be talking about this. I've lost track of the number of people who make mistakes updating their wallets (usually they don't check the DeepOnion forum for instructions before the update) and then are facing issues with their wallets. By making this feature, DeepOnion is making its users' life easier.
