121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: January 02, 2018, 03:55:58 PM
Evryone known what xrp in the last year ( something like 30000% ). The ripple project is workin' like future bank. In Your opinion is possibile for Ripple become the new global currency for the world?
You are going to see a lot of haters on this forum who hate ripple for its centralized control as well as locked supply. This makes it very much obvious that xrp is not going to.get much support from crypto society but here is a catch these crypto maniacs hate it because govts. Will regain control over money but the banks of world love it for same. It will be a tug off war and we have to see who wins in this battle.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: January 02, 2018, 03:45:41 PM
What are some the more idiotic and stupid mistakes that you know you shouldn't have made but did anyway. Yes this includes other none gambling stuff like sending btc to the wrong address. I'm interested to find out the stupid things other people do.  Roll Eyes
I have done the biggest mistake of my life. This was when I began gambling on bitsler. I got some 400 doge for doing some retweet task I sent it immediately on bitsler and watched some video on youtube about a money multiplier trick. I applied the trick and it worked. My 400 doges instantly became 4000. I didnt know much about these factors and all. I kept on doing such gamble for a few days and you won't believs it went till 40000 doges. I made 4000 doges which were worth 300$ from ashes. I thought that with such a regamble amount I can earn so much what if I increase it? I took the meter to 95% if I lose and tada everything just vanished in the very next gamble moreover sadly that trick didnt even work again.
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Rise again in January? on: January 02, 2018, 03:36:14 PM
Yes, me too . Its price is decreasing at the end of the year. Because many sellers because of anxiety for Tet. I think its price will soon return in January. Many will continue to buy it and its price will increase.
Its still not clear why btc has gone to such a low trend since past month. I think its merely because it reached to such heights in past few months. The dominance has fallen to all time low. Can't say when will this situation improve.
I see bitcoin rising gradually in January. Many want to buy bitcoin for investment purpose, so when demand is high the Price too will spring up.
How can I not see such an upward trend. BTC is still struck in that same upward and downward resistance level isn't quite able to break it.
124  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Regulators banning bitcoin companies from the stock exchange on: January 02, 2018, 02:30:31 PM
Hi all,

In my country of Israel, the govt. Securities Authority has announced that they are pursuing options to ban businesses based on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies from trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/1.831170).

I'm trying to do a comparative research to see if other such policies have been put in place in other countries.

Does anyone know of other similar cases?

There is no such policy until now but my country(India) is also issuing same guidelines it is continuously disregarding trading. It is continuosly issuing guidelines and warning people to not be attracted towards cryptocurrencies. I am afraid that soon India can also come up with a similar law regarding cryptocurrencies.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in my carrer on finance on: January 02, 2018, 02:24:09 PM
Soon, i will be recieving my diploma for financial management {3mos from now(april 2018)}. currently im taking my OJT, Im starting to wonder how can I or what job can i apply my knowledge in bitcoin and crypto.
I love bitcoin, theres so many reasons why, profit included but the main reason is because of its idea. Decentralization, so utilizing my knowledge in financial mngmt. I want to be able to spread awareness, to help mass adaptation. BUT i dont know where to start. Considerng i want to earn Huge money. Can someone give me idea, what should i do and what should i learn? Smiley
I am afraid techniques of financial mgt. are absolutely not made foe bitcoin. You know why? Almost every technique and rule of financial management is based upon a simple rule that idle money is suspectible to inflation so it must be invested and where to invest it is what we call financial mgt. Bitcoin if kept idle actually grows so it breaks this very basic rule. This is why I see financial mgt. Useless in cryptos. But yes if you learn trading then its quite very much useful in cryptos.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: January 02, 2018, 02:20:09 PM
Yes but only if you become such a tech geek who can actually go into and calculate algorithms using which these gambling casinos operate. Except this there is no way your maths could help in gambling. If this was possible you would see tons of gambling companies who would be hiring mathematics topper from universities gambling is fate and a little bit brain.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: January 02, 2018, 02:10:00 PM
Hello everyone, im a Gambler since 2011 when my father wants me to go with him to the live casino, like i was so amazed and so much fun there.
My father loves to play baccarat game and slots, but me as a first timer before, i played slots too...
So right now, im 31 years of age and have my own family, i still do gambling even on gambling sites now...
at that moment i realize that, why do we need to gamble? its like a win or loss game, a risky game, put your own money and when you bust it all, there will be some regrets...
So guys, please answer this, Why do we need to gamble?
First of all I would like to correct you. Gambling isnt a need atleast until you are a complete addict. Gambling is a want which is dictated just by greed of money. Its bitter truth but even people who say that they do it for fun actually want to earn money out of it.

129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The point is: if you think Bitcoin will be the next global currency... on: January 02, 2018, 01:57:57 PM
...why are you all dumping it for fiat currency buying Lambos and Nintendo Switch?
You think it will be a global currency? Give me one reason why I should hold it? I am from India and my govt. Is not quite with it. It has issued several warnings and stopping people to invest in it. What if tomorrow I wake up and see that India has banned it? All my lifetime earnings are gone all evaded? This is why I ocassionaly dump it for fiat.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price fluctuation on: December 31, 2017, 02:56:16 PM
Will bitcoin price ever cease to fluctuate so hard? I mean currently it seems as if it's fluctuating just because of the trends among people who believe that investing into bitcoin, given some time, is 100% profit. But what if the so called bubble would burst, shouldn't the price get more stable?
Bitcoin is still a very young currency. It still has to reach a lot of people around the world. This means that people will be willing to buy it at any cost. This is what leads to bitcoin Volatility. Moreover the unregulated aspect of cryptos makes the situation even worse. I think once it reaches to a big mass people buy bitcoin it will stabilize a lot. There is nothing like bubble burst currently.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs the rest on: December 31, 2017, 02:46:15 PM
Hey All,

Who believes bitcoin dominance will fall to 20% in 2018?

With the strong rise of Ripple Ethereum Cardano Iota and more will it change the playing field?

and if you believe it which currency could take over the #1 from bitcoin?
BTC dominance has fallen to 37% from 70% since last 1 months itself. This is a sign that major altcoins are overshadowing the importance of bitcoin. But does this means end of bitcoin? I don't think so. Its low merely because the price of bitcoin is falling and investors feel it is better to invest in other options like IOTA and XRP which have much more potential grow than to invest in BTC.
132  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Exchange - Let us grow together. Please provide us your feedback. on: December 31, 2017, 02:39:48 PM
Your Exchange is too good and even better than bittrex because you have the additional feature of the mobile app. Try to improve and fix bugs in your mobile app with advent of smartphone technology people like exchanges which provide services on a finger tap. Moreover the web exchange UI also lags a bit. I don't know whether its my processor or it is slow in general because no other exchange does that problem.
133  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info 17% fee? on: December 31, 2017, 02:35:33 PM
Blockchain is really annoying these days. Even a fees at 100 sats/byte on blockchain becomes 0.001 while sending merely a 0.008 transaction. I think they aren't even segwit until now. But in your case I am afraid its not the fees which is at problem. You have brought bitcoins and fees have nothing to do with you. I think problem is that the price has gone far too low on blockchain from the date you purchased it to the date you are watching it. See the BTC amount is absolutely the same.
134  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: why not new signature campaign ?? on: December 31, 2017, 02:24:11 PM
Mostly signature campaign right now can't afford to pay bitcoin that is why ICO campaign is in bounty campaign or in altcoin section where you can see new signature campaign and other bounty campaign..
Check here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
Services section right now there are still running campaign that i think its for long run campaign.. if you are planning to look for campaign try bounty campaign in altcoin section don't expect that you can earn a lot but sometimes if you are lucky and hold some ICO coin you earn the price is not expected the you can sell it more than you can earn in bitcoin ..
I think the problem is the abundance of ICO's. The number of ICO's are increasing so much that people barely care about any new shitcoin. As ICO's gather very less funding they aren't really interested in bringing up their signature campaigns in BTC payments. Just a handful of campaigns are able to do so. Moreover right now its Christmas and new year fever going on so you can even blame it for less signature campaigns.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your worst mistake in Gambling? on: December 31, 2017, 02:14:15 PM
Never chase your loses, Once you make profit cashout. Gambling is like a circle, if you don't know when to stop you'll end up at the starting point Smiley

The worst mistake I did when I was gambling was when I was trying to win back the loss I had when I gambled all my bitcoin and hit the "all in" button and to my surprise I lost all my bet.
So I tried to win it back again and deposited twice the amount I bet the first time around and to my surprise again I lost it all.

It was even the first gambling site I ever tried to play and I was so eager to win back the losses but could never have it back. I never went back to that gambling site ever again.

Very much the same mistake I made. I think this the only mistake one could make in gambling trying to win back the losses you have made. Once you revive back your losses you think that you have done nothing by playing gambling so you end up playing a bit more to earn some marginal profits. The worst part is that if you even win some times and lose the next you try to win back that momentary profit but end up losing much more.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will we ever see players transfer paid with bitcoin ??! on: December 31, 2017, 02:03:17 PM
From one summer to the next one,  the price of the players is multiplied as well as the highest player's price in the history, at least by 2 times. As a result, due to the permanent elevation of the prices of players , and due to the new emerging laws in our sports which is : money is every things !
Could we see some deals paid  in bitcoin ?

Haha Still a dream. But for this to happen first teams must get their  earnings in BTC because think like one day they decide to convert their fiat into btc and the very next day price of bitcoin falls. Teams will end up spending much more btc to buy players. But yes with advent of blockchain we might even see an all together new cryptocurrency which would empower the game of football.
137  Local / India / Re: India likens cryptocurrencies to Ponzi schemes on: December 30, 2017, 07:14:10 PM
NEW DELHI: India warned Friday against investing in cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, likening them to “Ponzi schemes,” as it became the latest country to urge caution.Despite a boom in trade that has seen prices soar, cryptocurrencies “don’t have intrinsic value and are not backed by any kind of assets,” the Indian finance ministry said in a statement. “There is a real and heightened risk of investment bubble of the type seen in Ponzi schemes which can result in sudden and prolonged crash,” it said.Bitcoin prices plunged by almost 40 percent from its record high of $19,500 (SR73,125) this month as investors cashed out following the wildly volatile currency’s stratospheric rise.Analysts and governments have repeatedly warned about a bubble that could burst at any moment as investors, many inexperienced, piled into the currency.India’s government said consumers needed to be “extremely cautious as to avoid getting trapped in such Ponzi schemes.”.

Its warning came a day after South Korea, a hotbed for cryptocurrency trading, said it would ban anonymous trading of virtual currencies. On Tuesday Israel announced a move to ban trading in cryptocurrency-based companies on the Tel Aviv market until it can regulate transactions involving digital coins. The vice president of the European Central Bank has also expressed concern about the relentless rise in the value of bitcoin.US Federal Reserve boss Janet Yellen has said bitcoin is not money and called on banks to be certain their digital currency transactions adhere to anti-money laundering statutes..

http://www.arabnews.com/node/1216001/business-economy

Indian Government is worst they are scared now that if people use crypto then they will not have any control all politicians are corrupt including our PM on top of that banks do not have any back up if funds are taken out from banks the so called Indian economy will fall.
I think the govt. itself is in kind of a dubious situation. They can't obviously directly ban bitcoin because of it such a widespread adoption around the country. Nor they can expressly accept it as it will lead to money laundering at a very large scale. Even making a law regarding it is too difficult so they are trying to create FUD in minds of people. This FUD becomes even more solid when the price of BTC falls marginally bt 30% a day. So they are correct in their approach won't blame them for doing so.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: December 30, 2017, 07:01:45 PM
Hello! i want to save money while playing gambling game but i cant really do it because i am really addicted to bitcoin still i have small amount of money to save in my wallet but in the next day i spend it for gambling because i'll always lose in gambling games can someone help me with saving in my wallet and play gambling games at the same time.
This is a real bad habit which you should leave ASAP. To adopt any such advice which we could give you first have to be rather disciplined which you unfortunately can't be because of your addiction. Nevertheless best way out here is to set proportions. I mean that try to give only a certain amount of money each day out of your pool to gambling. Don't give everything to it even if you lose. Decide what can you afford to lose each day and don't ever cross that mark. But I think you will have hard time adopting this idea.
139  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: why bitcoin illegal in asia? on: December 30, 2017, 06:55:03 PM
bitcoin illegal  some asia country bt why?can you give me some reason about this?? thanks
Can you give 1 particular country in asia because have not heard that there is 1 that says its illegal. In our country (Philippines), our government thru our BSP has taken an initiative to regulate bitcoin.
I think some country from asians he means like Bangladesh, Nepal, China which source from News Bitcoin
Which it believes in Bangladesh the reason behind the ban, they would allow people to be "financially harmed." If you're caught trading in bitcoin in Bangladesh, it could lead to legal trouble under the Foreign Currency Control Act and Money Laundering Regulation.
Trade of bitcoin is illegal only in one asian country and that is Bangladesh. Even Nepal doesn't has any laws for it while China has only stopped local exchanges from operating it hasn't clearly banned bitcoin. We still get a lot of investment in bitcoin from China itself. Saying this I would still say that Bitcoin does causes legal trouble for the countries as it becomes almost impossible for them to keep track of the financial operations of a person and amount of tax payable by him.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great News For Bitcoin! Lightening Network First Payment Was Successful! on: December 30, 2017, 06:51:30 PM
Sup guys!

I think this is a very important piece of info as we all kinda doomed bitcoin, but this might be a breakthrough.

The lightening network is a technology basically adds a layer of tech that can be a scaling solution for bitcoin, its supposed to prevent the high fees and slow transactions, with the same level of security.

A few days ago the first payment using the lightening network was successful, it was made to pay a phone bill.

The payment was INSTANT, and the fees were ZERO.

Here's the full article - https://www.coindesk.com/payment-provider-bitrefill-runs-successful-lightning-transaction-test/

Bottom line - the lightening network could solve most of the problems with bitcoin - if it does, its a huge step forward in terms of bitcoins scalability, meaning itll be easier to get mass adoption and use BTC for day-to-day transactions, and generally will be great news for the whole crypto section.
The much anticipated update is finally here. This improvement will surely eradicate the long lasting scaling problems of bitcoin and blockchain. The last attack on bitcoin when the fees aggrevated to around 900 sats/byte has really ended the utility of bitcoin as a currency. With this network finally bitcoin might be of use as a means of settlement rather than just an asset.
That's positive news, but still not enough to cheer the market back up. I don't want to sound negative but even when Lightening Network is fully implemented, it'll be too late for bitcoin to win all the investors who already moved to support new cryptos. New cryptos are implementing features that are missing from bitcoin such as anonymity and private transactions. Bitcoin is already outdated. I'm not saying that bitcoin will die. I'm sure bitcoin will stay forever however, it'll slow down gradually until another coin takes its place as the main crypto-currency.
Certainly not.Bitcoin had been the ultimate choice of most of the investors. The only drawback it was facing was the high transaction fee. Most of the investors had been longing for the lightening network to get activated. This is now really a great news. This would once again make investors to return to bitcoin once again proving it to be the king of crypto currencies.
That isn't really a drawback for the investors. High transaction fees doesn't affects them. Investors focus on returns and volatility of any coin. Investors still invest in bitcoin. Its the investors who have taken it to 19K despite of such high fees and time. Now what we are seeing is just a correction and nothing else.
