Someone wants to buy cheap shares......  Smiley

I agree it's a bubble. Nothing has really happened to change anything and everyone is throwing their money in, that is a bubble.

When we hear they received chips and the chips work then it will make sense.

I too hate this "bubble bubble bubble ...." thing, but this definitely is moving as every other asset before: Good news before anything physical (like chips arrived etc.), price goes up, and after a day or two it is back again.
122  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 20, 2013, 11:36:01 AM
Why should it be 10btc a share?  please collaborate. I'm not following it

Would mean a market capitalization for LC of 100 million BTC. Obviously makes a lot of sense. Roll Eyes

And also it could never reach it as everyone would sell way before 10 BTC/share
123  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 20, 2013, 10:39:16 AM
Lets do that, 10x is minimum Smiley

Apparently a lot of buyers agree.

You guys waiting for the 0.0016 shares missed your chance 2 days ago. The train is gone.

yeah I see, but no prob. Anyway, is the asset now undervalued? I'm talking about current value, taking the updates into consideration, not future value.
124  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 20, 2013, 04:25:31 AM

It's going to stay over 0.002.   It's dipped towards it a couple of times and come back up.  If you're hoping for 0.0016 shares again, you're going to be out of luck.

Agreed.  Only bad news or delays would cause that, and right now things are only looking good.

I dont think so, there is still movement, it's gonna change
125  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 20, 2013, 03:38:48 AM
Labcoin speculation thread is here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=265388.0

That is outdated, though I understand your efforts, but until the number of LC investors does not reach the number of AM investors, separating this conversation into two different threads is not an option. The last post there is dated before this whole bubble.
126  Economy / Securities / Re: LABCOIN Speculation Thread on: August 20, 2013, 03:35:26 AM
Bump.

Asks have no meat until 0.0016. Most bids are at 0.0012. Not too exciting Wink

How funny it is to read this after the recent bubble Cheesy

EDIT: Well, maybe not...  Cheesy

This isn't strong enough now. Soon it will be again 0.0016-18ish. Hard decision. To sell, or not to sell...

it was a nice ride while it lasted, but definately on the way down now Sad

maybe you're right - sell now, buy again when it goes down to .0016

It's a shame I missed again the tip of the spike, but I could sell high enough to get some cheap shares later. Should have been better tough, that .253 is beautiful.

just pre place orders next time unless you have alot of shares.

I did not only miss the monday updates, but the announcement of the coming monday updates too, so I did not know this is going to possibly happen. Good lesson, though. Watch closely!

131  Economy / Securities / Re: Compare bitcoin stocks with Coinstocks.net on: August 07, 2013, 10:39:31 AM
Also it could be useful if you could implement negative percents in the potential gain, so e.g. if a security is overvalued, then the potential price is lower than the actualy price, and the gain could be a negative percent.
132  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCT.CO] [IPO] [FAQ]BTCGARDEN MINER---Eyes to the horizon on: August 01, 2013, 05:52:03 PM
Simulation on what? Judging from the ICA 0 driver used and hashrate it looks like an Asicminer Block Erupter USB...?

It certainly does look like an ASICMiner USB Block Erupter. Curious.

is it not porven, that those sticks can't return their prices by mining as a result of diff increase?

To all of those, whose remaining BTC is still locked: Go to "Wallet", then click refresh next to your balance. Did the trick for me Wink
137  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 10:15:13 PM
So when will this be unlocked and opened up for trading?

8PM Central Standard Time USA

LOL - actually no... not CST - just Burnsides own interpretation of CST.... Which closely resembles CDT

I remember you told us you were going to sleep. Seems like you didnt. Shame. That was a bad move.
138  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 10:07:32 PM
Why all the hate on LABCOIN and Burnside?

Yes this could have been handled better, and yes the deposits had issues (I got screwed myself, could have gotten a lot more shares).
But these guys have been doing everything to make this process as smooth as possible. Have you guys ever seen a BTC IPO that went perfectly smooth?

Good job both on making the best of a bad situation.

A couple of things to pay attention to on the next IPO:
- Make sure BTCT.CO is working as intended even during heavy load (deposits)
- As an IPO issuer you should stick to your issued timeline and plan even if it pisses off people.

problem is, it could not be predicted, that this IPO would induce a load this huge, and crash the deposit system.

Quick warning...

DO NOT TRY TO EDIT YOUR ORDER QUANTITIES.

An order quantity edit (bug, sorry, just discovered...) removes the existing order and places a new order at the appropriate amount.

Obviously new orders are blocked right now, so really it's just deleting your order.

I'm going to quickly fix this bug and assume that those of you that tried to game the system by editing your quantity did so by "accident" ...

If you really, truly meant to cancel your order, then by all means go ahead and do it again.  Wink

Cheers.

Haha nice one one burn XD
That explains those few thousand that are missing

now they are the only ones missing as a result of rounding.

Can we safely spend the coins that were bid but now are over the adjusted amount?
