121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is new way to get Free money? on: March 01, 2018, 05:45:39 PM
There are some people that think that to promote a Ponzi scheme it's a good idea, expecially under the form of an ICO. It's true.
But in any case they need a lot of work, and the results are not guaranteed: investors are not stupid, they know how to detect scam, so it's not so easy to fool them.
It's more intelligent and more profitable to put more effort on the content of the project, and to create a solid foundation: in this case, it will be more simple to convince investors because you are not lying.
And you don't only have the initial capital, but also a profitable business.
So, honesty is the best policy.

123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Start an ICO? on: February 25, 2018, 10:33:40 PM
It seems that in these days everyone is thinking about to start an ICO: of course, when you see what kind of sums you can collect, the idea is very tempting.
Of course, everything it's possible; what it's important is to not forget that the ICO is only the last part of a big and well structured project.
Actually, you are asking people to finance your business; so, of course, you need to have a business, or at least a convincing project for a business.
Then you have to solve all the technical problem, then the marketing ones, and so on.

Of course, you can just start an ICO with the intention to scam people, but now potential investors are more experienced, and don't let themselves be fooled by unrealizable promises.

Btw, if you think you have a very good project, go on, and...good luck! :-)
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: February 25, 2018, 10:29:57 PM
It's funny, because this thread started in december, when cryptomarket was at top.
Well, you already had your answer, alts crashed. But they also recovered.
So, if your only strategy is to buy something and to hope that it will grow forever, you're doomed.
But if you are a good trader and you know hot to profit of the ups and downs, cryptomarket is heaven :-)

Will altcoins crash again ?
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: February 25, 2018, 10:25:36 PM
It's not about "patience", it's all about timing: you need to act in the best moment. Of course, sometimes this means that you have to wait, and for this you need "patience".
But in a lot of cases people mistake"patience" with "procrastination" or just "hope", and this is a very bad strategy, as you lose a lot of opportunities.
So, dont' forget: in trading - as in life... - timing is everything.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto? on: February 25, 2018, 10:08:38 PM
Anything is possible, lot of people did it, and crypto offers a lot of opportunities to start with zero capital.
But, of course, you need to be very focused, very hard working and open to learn from mistakes.
If you have the right mindset, the righ skills, and some luck, the world is yours! :-)
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: February 25, 2018, 10:04:46 PM
Who knows, in a world where bitcoin is the main currency and everyone has his own "bank" in his cellphone banks would be useless.
But I'm very skeptic that they will accept a so big loss of power, so probably they will find a way to control the blockchain, or to offer new services that an economy based on bitcoin will need.
Btw, for the moment this is just science fiction, so... don't think too much about it.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: February 25, 2018, 09:59:11 PM
If you don't read the whitepaper, what other ways do you have to understand something about the business you are ready to invest in?
I know that it can be boring, but it's the only tool we have to decide if it's a scam or not.
So, not only we need to read the whitepaper, but we need also to verify all claims that sound suspect.
Wtf, it's about money....
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: February 25, 2018, 09:55:57 PM
"Time management" is a deceptive expression: you can't manage time, that is fixed. You can only manage yourself.
And to manage yourself, the only real tool is to manage focus, I mean to decide where you want to concentrate your attention moment by moment.
Don't forget, we all have 24 hours a day. How we use them, makes us millionaires or homeless....
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: February 25, 2018, 09:51:49 PM
I don't know what to say, may be it's a scam, may be not.
What I know is that some friends of mine participated last summer to deeponion airdrop, and I didn't.
Now they are very happy, and I'm not! Sad
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: February 25, 2018, 09:48:21 PM
We all here have a lot to regret, and we all had our "pizza moment"! (from Lazlo's pizza payed 80 million dollars...)
Much more, to blame ourselves creates lack of confidence, and then just paralisys.
We can't change the past, so regret is an useless emotions; all we can do is to learn from our mistakes, and try to do better next time.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: February 25, 2018, 09:29:27 PM
To ask if to investing in ICO is good or not, it's of course a bad generalization. It's the same as to ask if it's good to invest in forex or in you make profit investing in stock!
ICO have a very high potential for profit, which is balanced by a good potential for loss.
The most important thing to remember is that THERE IS NO CONTROL, so ICO promoters can make any claim and promise without the fear of having to answer for them.
So, be careful!
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why can we not as a community boycott stocks.exchange on: February 25, 2018, 09:14:18 PM
We need to understand that crypto market is a new one, so all kind of people jumped in, not all with good intentions.
And other people may be had good intentions, but not the necessary skills.

I don't think that there is the need to boycott them, because - as you can see - step by step bad people are pushed out of the market.
Of course, sometimes it's not so fast as we'd like, but... it will happen!
So, be patient!
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for ICO buyers and bounty hunters? Better KYC for ICO & Bounties issuers! on: February 25, 2018, 08:39:02 PM
We like to have freedom, but when we are scammed we complain about the lack of control and we ask for authority.
When authority starts to control us, we complain about lack of freedom.
Actually, all our all civilization is a compromise between freedom and control, and we can't have both.
Now, after years of far west, the crypto world begins to have some rules.
That's all.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How was your experience in joining bounty or airdrop? on: February 25, 2018, 08:31:43 PM
Well, this is my second campaign, and I hope it will have a good success. The first was with SwissBorg, and it was regularly paid.
Of course, at my level, nothing spectacular, but acceptable.
With airdrop, I did some experiments, but the results were insignificant. Btw, for a so little effort, it's not a problem.

What I see is that now campaigns last very much: more experienced members said to me that last year the average duration was just some weeks, now we are talking about months.
If the campaign doesn't have success, you've lost months of work.
But it's part of the game, and sure we are not here just to make campaigns.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: February 25, 2018, 08:21:03 PM
Exactly, you confirm what I just said: even if governments declare that bitcoin is illegal, they can stop people to make their trades in bitcoin.
Of course it can be difficutl to exchange in local currency, but when you have a lot of bitcoin, you can easily find a way to use them :-)

bitcoin is illegal in my country and the government always declarate if we don't invest in crypto currency and in my country bitcoin can't using as a payment methode but I don't care about that, enthusiasts of bitcoin in my country are continue to grow and a lot of people in my country still earn and invest in crypto currency eventhough we can't using it but we can exchange bitcoin to local currency.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: February 25, 2018, 06:09:53 PM
Bitcoin can't be illegal: until it remains online, it has nothing to do with money, it's just a videogame.
And no authority can prevent selling and buying points of a videogame!
Of course, governments can make illegal for normal entities (banks, shops, companies) to use these points, but in no way they can control what private citizens do.
So, all the big claim about "banning" bitcoin have the only aim to scare the population and to manipulate the market.

139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: February 18, 2018, 10:00:53 PM
In theory, we all know that losses are inevitable, and we need to accept them as part of the game.
Practically, it can be very difficult.
The way I found that works better for me is just to think that I'm playing with a videogame, and there are no money implied.

It may seem childish, but in this way I can keep the necessary detachment to maintain the clarity needed to make the right decisions.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin now the biggest bubble of all time? on: February 18, 2018, 09:49:18 PM
Someone said that a bubble was a boom that the person describing the bubble was not invested in.
So, there are a lot of people that say bitcoin is a bubble.
In the meanwhile others become millionaire.

Let we stay in the second group... :-)
