121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HEX]HEISENBERG HEX - OFFICIAL THREAD!![HEX] on: September 12, 2018, 01:05:46 AM
Wow this is a very slow release of coins. Two coin reward 2.5 minute blocks. Only 1,700,000 coins exist. AND the coins are values at $0.70 each right now? AND is being traded on Cryptopia and 3 other exchanges? Personally I think it looks pretty good even if the community does nothing and sits on it for a few years without changing anything! Gonna get this one going.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NIM] - Nimiq - The Browser Based Blockchain on: September 12, 2018, 12:37:35 AM
I'm a little disappointed. This isn't for the little guy! Easy web based idea turns into a disaster when all you can do is pool mine and wait and hope you earn something. Great start but I think the non savvy people will walk away and take their power to something they know they can be sure on! Wish I was wrong and hope things change! I will keep watching. Love the map though!!!
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WEBD] 🌍 WebDollar - Currency of the Internet | Mining directly in browser on: September 07, 2018, 02:28:28 AM
Three hours since I started mining and already over 109 coins.

Does anyone know how the referral works? Do we earn anything extra if someone clicks our link and starts mining?
https://webdollar.io/pool/1/WEBDminers/0.01/9d1e36899b3a1164e1fc790cc38c73f81d6b48522cef0abbb559c823662f0c57/https:$$webdminers.ddns.net:80/r/WEBD$gBC7XNAbGgL90KKJTq@0+tBM$RkBSa972b$

I can see this coin being a contender, especially if an API is developed so people can sell their wares using this coin as a shopping cart checkout!

I'm in. Getting my 21 core CPU ready for this one. Just point me to some info on how to set up a pool and masternode for it!
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] PVPCoin - Earn As You Play - Decentralized - MultiPlay - POW on: September 02, 2018, 05:40:24 PM
You offer us something big, but what about the security you make to protect all of us from thieves, do you have it?

Like anything, nothing is 100% safe. However, I intend to have multiple NS, and the DAPP will also be as secure as the platform allows as well as the code will be protected within its wrapped environment. I do ask everyone to also be aware of the pools you might use when pooling. These pools should also have multiple name servers because a pool is a point of entry and if a DDOS attack is targeting a pool, the blockchain will slow and result in nothing getting through. I highly advise against pooling because if people just download the wallet and not broadcast their IP the network is more secure! If anyone wants to add to the security they can, and I encourage it. Here is the link to the github for anyone willing to offer and assist with security. Keep in mind, all of the code is not available yet and there is no wallet to download as of yet. I will review what the students provide and make a decision at that time if it's secure enough to launch. I offer no guarantees, but want to help the world with my vision and allow others to assist! Thanks for your question. I hope this answer helps.

I have been staking this coin for some time now. I also have been working on a project that I hope is just about ready to launch. I will know in two weeks if I am going to be free to maybe help with ChessCoin. If I do help though it would be my intention to put the game in the wallet and allow the game to be played directly. To get an idea of what I am talking about here is the project I am almost finished with ... pvpcoin.atwebpages.com

126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why you should take bounty campaign seriously on: August 31, 2018, 02:14:40 AM
I'm curious, if a coin max is 77,000,000 and there is a premine of 10% would 700,000 coins towards bounty be worth people working, I think so! I thin many people fail at picking the right project to do bounty work for, or they just dont know any better because they are new. Bounty work to me is like stake mining, the only difference is you dont have money to buy the coins to stake, so you work for the coins instead, and then stake them, lol.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good projects should start on: August 31, 2018, 01:39:03 AM
Good discussion !!!

If you are looking to get something going, the first thing you need to do is start coding. Don't look for others to do the work, start it yourself. A blockchain is easy to make. What matters though is the idea around the blockchain. The way we know wallets today, is not how they will be a few years from now. They are becoming very sophisticated. After you are almost done MAKING YOU OWN BLOCKCHAIN, then start an ICO with a child like name of your coin. An example would be CoderCoin and codertoken. Sell the tokens to raise money to build a team to finish the work of CoderCoin. Keep in mind that later your token holders will want their money. About 3 weeks prior to launching your CoderCoin reach out to the community and put them to work and pay them to get busy through airdrops, and factor in a very small premine so you can pay them and get the coin on exchnages. The token holders are partners and if you run away thats bad, so keep them happy because they already did their part. Eventually they will want coins or money.

Plan on the process taking a couple years or longer. Keep things under wraps as long as possible until launch or people might feel you are stinging them along. The only ones that need to know the progress is yourself, and if you ICO, the partners! Otherwise keep quiet even if it kills you. Timing is everything!

〉 Mining Instructions 〈
After you download the 3 applications into a folder, start playervsplayercoin-qt and then shut it down.
Now edit the config file and save it within the AppData/Roaming/PlayerVsPlayerCoin folder.
Now create another bat file called mine.bat and save this file with the original 3 applications.
This mine.bat file uses playervsplayercoin-cli to mine the PVP coin.
Once you are done, restart the wallet and let it sync and download the blockchain.
When the wallet is up to date simply double click mine.bat to start mining PVP coin.

〉 Pool Mining Site 〈
Pick either one of these below and start pool mining, save as .bat file

〉 WALLET PHASE II 〈
Development of the single player version of the game as well as the multiplayer version took 2 years, that was Phase I.
Test Play: http://plavpla.com/

Phase II involves embedding the game into the wallet, as well as, creating a mining ability within the game similar to the test game that is linked above.
No deadline will be given for this process and when it's completed and ready for release it will be posted here on [Suspicious link removed]

〉 Multiplayer Information 〈
PHASE III is the multiplayer version implementation into the wallet.

〉 Website Game Version 〈
http://plavpla.com/
Game is best played with Firefox Browser
Is online to make people aware of what is coming and to give people a taste of how the single player version will perform. When launched
you will need to upgrade your wallet to a new version.

Since the games inception there have been over a half million unique hits/visits to the game. 509219 + to date.
The timer only keeps track of everyone's first visit, so this does not reflect return visitors.
I can share with you however that there is a huge return rate of players.

〉 Closing Remarks 〈
I make no guarantees of you becoming successful with this project. Play at your own risk when phase II and Phase III launches. No refunds
will be given for anything since the game gives you everything you need without you having to pay for anything anyway!
